Abstract

Community service that focuses on optimising the potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in villages is a strategic step to improve the welfare and living standards of local communities. This activity begins with the identification of the potential and constraints faced by MSMEs in the area, followed by a comprehensive analysis that helps map out the most relevant interventions. This approach includes skills training, access to capital, and more effective and efficient marketing of products. The active involvement of local communities in MSME development increases the sense of ownership and responsibility for the sustainability of the programme. Collaboration with the government, educational institutions and the private sector is also crucial to provide holistic support. Various forms of concrete support, such as training, technical assistance, and development of marketing networks, are expected to bring positive impacts to small businesses in villages. In this digital era, the utilisation of information technology is key in expanding market reach and improving operational efficiency of rural MSMEs. The implementation of e-commerce and digital marketing allows MSMEs to access a wider market and market their products nationally and internationally. In addition, technology also provides easier access to important information and resources that can support business development. The success and sustainability of this strategy depends on regular evaluation and the ability to adapt the programme based on the results. Continuous programme adjustments ensure that the strategy remains relevant and effective in the face of changing conditions on the ground. Thus, optimising the potential of MSMEs in the village is expected to have a sustainable positive impact, not only for the business actors, but also for the village economy as a whole.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital financial literacy on individual financial performance among Generation Z in Indonesia amid the rapid development of digital financial technology that has transformed financial management practices. As digital natives, Generation Z possesses strong potential to utilize digital financial tools, yet the relationship between digital financial literacy and financial performance remains underexplored. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 131 respondents aged 18–27 years through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that digital financial knowledge, digital financial skills, and digital financial behavior all have a significant positive effect on individual financial performance. Digital financial knowledge emerged as the strongest predictor (β = 0.421, p < 0.001), followed by digital financial skills (β = 0.318, p = 0.003) and digital financial behavior (β = 0.263, p = 0.012). Furthermore, the model explains 61.7% of the variance in financial performance (R² = 0.617). These findings demonstrate that digital financial literacy is a crucial determinant of financial well-being among Generation Z and highlight the importance of strengthening digital financial education through both formal and informal learning environments in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program aims to optimize new students' mastery of reference management using IEEE Style through training on the use of Mendeley Reference Manager. The activity involved three stages: preparation (identifying student needs and developing training modules), implementation (presentation of material, demonstration of Mendeley usage, and hands-on practice of IEEE Style reference management and citations), and evaluation (pre- and post-tests to measure understanding and participant response questionnaires). The results showed a significant improvement in new students' ability to manage references and apply IEEE Style, with an average post-test score 35% higher than the pre-test, and a participant satisfaction rate of 88% with the applicable and interactive training method. Therefore, Mendeley training is effective as a medium for optimizing new students' mastery of IEEE-standard reference management.
