Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Harapan Jaya di Kota Bandar Lampung memiliki usaha pengolahan jahe merah menjadi jahe instan. Permintaan terhadap jahe instan tersebut meningkat sejak pandemi Covid 19. Namun, kendala yang dihadapi bila akan meningkatkan produksi adalah ketersediaan bahan baku dan jahe instan dihasilkan belum dikemas dengan baik, penentuan harga jual belum benar, pemasaran masih terbatas, dan promosi belum dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan anggota KWT Harapan Jaya tentang pengadaan bahan baku jahe merah dan bauran pemasaran jahe instan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penyuluhan (ceramah dan diskusi) dan pendampingan. Setelah kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan, pengetahuan anggota KWT Harapan Jaya mengenai pengadaan bahan baku jahe merah dan bauran pemasaran meningkat sebesar 66,17 persen. Peserta kegiatan antusias mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terlihat dari persentase kehadiran sebesar 65 persen (lebih dari 50 persen anggota aktif) dan diskusi berjalan lancar serta aktif. Pengembangan kemasan produk, tertib pembukuan usaha, penetapan harga jual jahe instan, pemanfaatan media sosial dalam pemasaran dan promosi jahe instan KWT Harapan Jaya perlu waktu yang lebih panjang untuk mengevaluasinya.

Study on sustainability of multistrata coffee systems is important related to community forest program. This research aims to study: (1) sustainability of coffee farming in protected forest of West Lampung (2) willingness to pay the external cost and its determinant factors. The study was conducted in Sumberjaya, West Lampung Regency from Juni to October 2009. The study used random sampling method with 50 protected forest farmers were interviewed. Extended Cost Benefit Analysis (ECBA) was used to address the purpose (1) while analysis of ordinal logistic regression was to address the purpose (2) Financial analysis showed that coffee farming in protected forest is feasible with NPV of IDR 17,719,505/ha, BCR 1.86 and IRR 24.96%. Coffee with complex multipurpose shade (MPTS, multipurpose tree species) generated highest NPV. Based on ECBA, sustainability depended on externality cost (environmental and social cost). Coffee farming was not sustainable (shown by negative NPV) when externality cost was more than US $536/ha. When externality cost was 458 USD ha-1 year-1 (minimum value) NPV is Rp1.648.633/ha, BCR 1,04 and IRR 26,88. Complex multipurpose shade coffee was the most sustainable among the systems. To sustain the environment, farmers willing to pay external cost in average of Rp475,660/year for soil conservation, planting more shade trees, environmental tax, and reforestation. Based on ordinal logistic regression, farm size, land productivity, household income, household size, and knowledge of forest benefits, positively influencid WTP. Policy of community forest (HKm permit) that require a minimum of 400 trees/ha could improve sustainability of coffee farming.Key words: Coffee farming, sustainable, protection forest, economic value

Pencapaian ketahanan pangan merupakan masalah inti yang dihadapi petani terutama petani yang memiliki produktivitas tanaman utama yang rendah. Kemampuan petani untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya dipengaruhi oleh luas lahan dan produksi tanaman yang mereka usahakan. Ketahanan pangan ini harus terwujud untuk menghindari keadaan rawan pangan di kalangan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis ketahanan pangan beserta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya untuk rumah tangga petani pada berbagai agroekosistem di Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Penelitian dilakukan pada agroekosistem padi di Desa Sinar Jaya Kecamatan Tanjung Raja, agroekosistem singkong di Desa Ratu Jaya Kecamatan Sungkai Tengah, dan agroekosistem lada di Desa Tanjung Jaya Kecamatan Sungkai Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Juni – September 2021. Jumlah sampel adalah 105 rumah tangga petani. Metode analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu klasifikasi silang antara pangsa pengeluaran pangan dan tingkat kecukupan energi serta regresi ordinal logistik. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa mayoritas rumah tangga petani diklasifikasikan sebagai kurang pangan. Jumlah rumah tangga yang paling banyak terkategori tahan pangan adalah petani agroekosistem padi, sedangkan rumah tangga yang paling banyak terkategori rawan pangan adalah petani agroekosistem singkong. Variabel pendidikan ibu rumah tangga, pendapatan rumah tangga, dan dummy agroekosistem berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat ketahanan pangan.

Pendayagunaan sumberdaya pertanian secara optimal perlu ditingkatkan agar hasil produksi padi dapat terus meningkat. Salah satu sumberdaya pertanian yaitu irigasi.Â Pengelolaan irigasi Way Ketibung yang kurang berjalan dengan baik mengakibatkan masih banyak usahatani padi di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan mengalami kekeringan dan kebanjiran.Â Pengelolaan irigasi tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah melainkan tanggung jawab petani pengguna juga.Â Salah satu bentuk kontribusi petani dalam pengelolaan irigasi yaitu petani bersedia membayar jasa pengelolaan irigasi agar irigasi dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Pada penerapan pembayaran jasa pengelolaan irigasi ini perlu diketahui atribut-atribut apa saja yang ingin didapatkan petani apabila melakukan pembayaran.Â Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis prefrensi petani Padi Sawah terhadap Pembayaran Jasa Layanan Pengelolaan Irigasi di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan Provinsi Lampung.Â Jumlah sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 100 petani padi irigasi yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode propotionate random sampling . Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis konjoin.Â Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Â Â Atribut yang dianggap penting oleh petani apabila melakukan pembayaran jasa layanan pengelolaan irigasi di daerah irigasi Way Ketibung secara berurutan yaitu peningkatan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah, kecukupan air, besar dana iuran, dan skema pembayaran.

Packaged cooking oil is a food product that is needed by every households. In the market, packaged oil products have various brands and packaging forms such as refillable plastic packaging, plastic bottles, and plastic jerrycans. The purpose of this study is to determine the combination of attributes packaged cooking oil that are most preferred by consumers and attribute that have the highest importance value for consumers of packaged cooking oil. The research method uses survey methods and the analytical method used is conjoint analysis to determine consumer preferences for packaged cooking oil. research reveals more detailed results. Most research consumers are between 38-52 years old, with 4-6 family members, total family income between Rp 8,000,000-Rp 15,000,000 per month, and the last education of housewives is high school. The most widely used brand of packaged cooking oil is Bimoli with the type of plastic packaging and the size of 2 liters, with an average household consumption of 3.714 liters per month. Based on conjoint analysis, it is concluded that consumers prefers price combination of Rp 11,000-Rp 13,000 per l, 2 liters packaging size, clear, and the bottled packaging. The most important attribute is the clarity of packaged cooking oil with value of 29,693.

The aim of this research are to analyze the level of food security, the factors that affect the level of food security, and efforts to increase the level of food security of fisherman household. The location of this research is chosen purposively in Sukajaya Lempasing Village, Teluk Pandan Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency in which respondents are 51 fisherman households. The data of this research was primary data and secondary data, collected in February – May 2018 and analyzed by cross-classification between the share of food expenditure and energy adequacy level, ordinal logistic regression, and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that the majority of respondent (68.63%) were classified as less food, and the rest were classified as food secure (13.73%), vulnerable to food (5.88%), and food insecure (11.76%). The affecting factors on the level of food security were formal education level of housewives and household food expenditure. The efforts to increase the level of food security by Government were through monitoring food availability and food reserves, developing food distribution and stabilization of food prices, Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), and Raskin. Whereas, the efforts by fisherman household themselves were food loan (92.16%) and changing dietary habit (7.84%).Key words: cross-classification, fisherman household, food security

The aims of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of cocoa monoculture farming and cocoa inter-cropping. This research was conducted in March-May 2016inpurposivelyselected Bulok District, Tanggamus Regency. The samples of theresearch were30 farmers selected randomly. Research data wer analyzed by using financial feasibility analysis method and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that cocoa monoculture and intercropping farming were financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The value of Net B/C and Gross B/C were bigger than 1. The value of NPV was bigger than 0 and IRR of cocoa farming was greater than 9% as the used interest rate. The Pay Period analysis of the cocoa farming system showed thatthe initial cash outflow of investment could be recovered less than 25 years. The feasibility value showed that cocoa intercropping farming was better thancocoa monoculture farming.The changes of sensitivity analysis showed that the production cost increase was 7.26%, the production price decrease was 22% and theproduction quantity decrease was 14%. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that cocoa monoculture farming was more sensitive than cocoa intercropping farming. Key words: cocoa, feasibility, financial, intercropping, sensitivity

This study aims to examine the factors that influence the number of tourists who visit Tanjung Pasir Beach, the economic value of tourism, and the impact of tourism on Tangerang Regency's economy. A survey was used in this study, with 77 visitors, 15 businessmen, and a tourism manager responding to the survey. The Tanjung Pasir Beach was selected intentionally as the location for the research. The collection of data was conducted in January - February 2023. This study employed the travel cost, multiple linear regression, and Keynesian multiplier effect as data analysis techniques. The findings revealed that visitors spent IDR102,493.51 per individual per visit on transportation. Distance, age, income, travel costs, facilities, and infrastructure are all factors that influence the number of tourist visits. The result of the calculation of travel cost using TCM on Tanjung Pasir Beach has a yearly economic value of IDR 44,801,325,052. The multiplier effect is used to estimate the economic impact of Tanjung Pasir Beach tourism, which has a direct impact of IDR 193,031,663.83 per month, an indirect impact of IDR 116,505,417.50 per month, and a secondary impact of IDR 80,166,666.67 per month. Tanjung Pasir Beach tourism still has a low impact on the economy because the Keynesian income multiplier value is 0.04. Key words: economic impact, economic value, tourism, travel cost

This research aims to analyze the difference of production efficiency of green lettuce and romaine lettuce and difference of risk on green lettuce and romaine hydroponic Nutrient Film Technique(NFT) in PT XYZ. The data used in this research was monthly periodical data in the period of January until July 2015. Dependent variables are production of green lettuce and romaine lettuce and independent variables consist of harvest areas, seeds, rockwool, fertilizer A and B, and Labor. Data were analyzed using frontier production function and coefficient variation. The research showed that: there was a different of production efficiency between green lettuce and romaine lettuce using hydroponic NFT. Green lettuce has lower efficiency rate but higher risk than romaine lettuce because diseases such as withered fusarium infected green lettuce. The purposes of this research were to analyze the performance of cassava chips agroindustry reviewed from procurement of raw materials, labor productivity, production capacity, product quality, delivery speed, flexibility, and added value and income. The research used was a survey method. Research data collection was carried out in March 2019 in Gedong Tataan Subdistrict with the consideration that agro-industries were actively producing continuously and had the potency to be developed. The research locations were in three villages of cassava chips agro-industry centers, namely Karang Anyar Village, Bagelen Village, and Sungai Langka Village. Respondents were 14 cassava chips agro-industries. Raw material procurement, product quality, delivery speed, and flexibility were analyzed qualitatively descriptively. Productivity, production capacity, and income were analyzed quantitatively. Added value is analyzed using the Hayami method. The results showed that the procurement of raw cassava chips was correct in the type and quantity, while it was not correct in place. The average of productivity per month was 41.65 kg / HOK and the average of production capacity per month was 79%. Product quality and delivery speed were good enough, and flexibility was not optimal. The agroindustry had a positive added value, profit with R/C>1, and the average of income per month of IDR 7,613,146.29.Key words: agroindustry, cassava chips, performance
