Abstract

This research aims to analyze: (1) profitability, (2) risks and mitigation actions in the instant ginger agroindustry. This study employs a case study method on the instant ginger agroindustry at UMKM Gendis Ayu Jahe, Tulang Bawang Udik District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. The research location was determined purposively, considering that the agroindustry is actively producing instant ginger. The respondents in this study are the owner and five employees of UMKM Gendis Ayu Jahe. Data collection was conducted from January to February 2024. The data analysis methods used in this research are profitability analysis and risk analysis using the House of Risk (HOR) method. The results show that (1) UMKM Gendis Ayu Jahe is profitable as the R/C ratio is greater than 1, and (2) the priority risk agents in UMKM Gendis Ayu Jahe are the insufficient number of raw material suppliers, fluctuations in product order quantities, scarcity of red ginger as the main raw material, the low capability of suppliers to meet red ginger needs, and sudden increases in demand volume. The priority mitigation actions at UMKM Gendis Ayu Jahe are improving relationships and communication with raw material suppliers, forming partnerships with red ginger farmers, implementing a make-to-stock production system, diversifying products using alternative raw materials, and Expanding the search area for regions that produce red ginger

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze preferences, consumption patterns and factors that influence household level consumption of green chilies in Bandar Lampung City.  The research method used is the survey method.  Data collection was carried out in November – December 2023 with a total of 70 household sample. Sampling was carried out in four sub-districts, namely Sukarame sub-district, Way dadi sub-district, Pesawahan sub-district, and Gunung Mas sub-district.  The data analysis used is conjoint analysis, descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results of the research show that household preferences in Bandar Lampung City for green chilies are spicy, lowest price (<Rp20.000), fresh, bright green, and curly green chilies.  Households consume chilies in the form of chili sauce or mixed dishes with an average weekly consumption per capita of 0,019 kg.  Households also consume curly green chilies.  Purchases are only made once a month at traditional markets.  The average household consumes green chilies only 1-2 times a month. Factors that have a significant influence on household demand for green chilies in Bandar Lampung City are the price of green chilies and the number of household members. Key words: chili, consumption pattern, demand, preference

Abstract

This research aims to determine the leading sectors of the economy and the performance of the leading sectors in Pesisir Barat Regency. Research uses secondary data. Secondary data used in this research is Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on constant prices for Lampung Province and Pesisir Barat Regency from 2018 to 2022. The analytical tools used in this research are Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift-Share analysis. . The research results show that of the 17 business sectors in 2018-2022, there are 9 economic base sectors in Pesisir Barat Regency with an LQ value>1, namely the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector; wholesale trade and vehicle repair sector, information and communications sector, real estate sector, corporate services, administration sector, educational services sector, health services sector and social activities and other service sectors. The economic growth of Lampung Province from 2018 to 2022 influenced the increase in PDRB of Pesisir Barat Regency by up to 10.76 percent with a total of IDR 316.72 billion with the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector contributing the highest with a total contribution of IDR 159.86 billion

Abstract

Pendayagunaan sumberdaya pertanian secara optimal perlu ditingkatkan agar hasil produksi padi dapat terus meningkat. Salah satu sumberdaya pertanian yaitu irigasi.  Pengelolaan irigasi Way Ketibung yang kurang berjalan dengan baik mengakibatkan masih banyak usahatani padi di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan mengalami kekeringan dan kebanjiran.  Pengelolaan irigasi tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah melainkan tanggung jawab petani pengguna juga.  Salah satu bentuk kontribusi petani dalam pengelolaan irigasi yaitu petani bersedia membayar jasa pengelolaan irigasi agar irigasi dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Pada penerapan pembayaran jasa pengelolaan irigasi ini perlu diketahui atribut-atribut apa saja yang ingin didapatkan petani apabila melakukan pembayaran.  Berdasarkan uraian tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis prefrensi petani Padi Sawah terhadap Pembayaran Jasa Layanan Pengelolaan Irigasi di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan Provinsi Lampung.  Jumlah sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 100 petani padi irigasi yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode propotionate random sampling . Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis konjoin.  Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa   Atribut yang dianggap penting oleh petani apabila melakukan pembayaran jasa layanan pengelolaan irigasi di daerah irigasi Way Ketibung secara berurutan yaitu peningkatan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah, kecukupan air, besar dana iuran, dan skema pembayaran.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the financial and non-financial feasibility in Labany fresh goat milk business in Metro City. This research was conducted from January to February 2025. The research method utilized in this study was a case study method. The Respondents in this study were consisted of various people including the owner of fresh milk business, five employees, three residents, and two consumers. The data analysis method used was financial feasibility analysis by calculating investment criteria including NPV, IRR, Gross B/C, Net B/C and Payback Period and for non-financial analysis using descriptive analysis by analyzing technical aspects, economic and market aspects, social engineering, and the environment. The results of the financial analysis of Labany goat milk business are profitable and feasible to develop. Based on the sensitivity scenario, cost changes have a maximum limit of 58 percent, while cost increases have a limit of 90 percent. Meanwhile, based on non-financial analysis involved technical aspects, economic and market aspects, social engineering aspects, and environmental technical aspects, Labany goat milk business is very feasible to run.   Key words:  feasibility, goat milk, risk , sensitivity analysis

Abstract

Lampung Utara merupakan sentra produksi kopi ketiga setelah Lampung Barat dan Tanggamus. Permasalahan yang dihadapi petani adalah masih rendah antara produktivitas dan kualitas kopi. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota Kelompok Tani Fajar Kemuning, dalam budidaya kopi sambung Robusta/Liberika dan pemilihan pohon induk kopi Liberika, (2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota kelompok tani dalam grafting kopi Robusta/Liberika. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok Tani Fajar Kemuning, Desa Pulau Panggung, Kecamatan Abung Tinggi, Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini antara lain adalah (1) Anggota kelompok mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memahami penerapan adaptasi berkebun kopi pada cuaca ekstrim, (2) Kelompok melakukan transfer pengetahuan kepada anggota dalam upaya meningkatkan ketahanan dan produktivitas kopi pada cuaca ekstrim. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan tatap muka, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pembuatan demplot, pendampingan penguatan kelompok, dan Anjangsana dan anjangkarya. Kesimpulan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Pengabdian masyarakat ini sudah dilaksanakan diikuti 18 peserta anggota Kelompok Tani Fajar Kemuning, melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, FGD, demoplot, dan pendampingan; (2) Pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam budidaya kopi grafting Robusta dan Liberika dengan nilai meningkat dari 78-89% menjadi 83-100% peserta mampu menjawab pertanyaan.

Abstract

Lampung Barat merupakan sentra produksi kopi Robusta, antara lain di Kecamatan Sumberjaya. Untuk meningkatkan adaptasi kopi Robusta terhadap variabilitas curah hujan dan keadaan lahan marginal, petani di Desa Puralaksana Kecamatan Sumberjaya bertanam kopi Liberika, baik untuk menghasilkan kopi Liberika maupun untuk disambung sebagai batang bawah pada sistem interspesifik Robusta/Liberika. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota kelompok tani Makmur Utama, Pekon Puralaksana, Way Tenong, Lampung Barat dalam budidaya kopi sambung Robusta/Liberika dan pemilihan pohon induk kopi Liberika, (2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota kelompok tani Makmur Utama, Pekon Puralaksana, Way Tenong, Lampung Barat dalam pembibitan kopi Liberika. Kesimpulan kegiatan PKM ini adalah: (1) Pengabdian masyarakat “Demplot Pembibitan Kopi Liberika di Desa Puralaksana, Kecamatan Way Tenong, Sumberjaya, Kabupaten Lampung Barat sudah dilaksanakan dengan peserta dari Kelompok Tani Makmur Utama melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, FGD, anjangsana dan anjangkarya dan pendampingan penguatan kelompok, (2) Pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam pembibitan kopi Liberika dan budidaya kopi sambungan Robusta/Liberika untuk meningkatkan ketahanan dan produktivitas kopi pada cuaca ekstrim dengan skor 65 berkategori baik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze preferences, consumption patterns, and consumer satisfaction for crystal palmsugar at modern markets in Bandar Lampung City. The research method used was the survey method. Datawas collected in February 2025 with a total number of respondentwere 60 people taken by the accidentalsampling method at four different modern market , namely Chandra Supermarket, Chandra Mini Market,Super Indo, and Fitrinofane. The analysis used was conjoin analysis, quantitative descriptive, CustomerSatisfaction Index (CSI), and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results reveal that consumerpreferences for crystal palm sugar at modern markets in Bandar Lampung City are fragrant aroma, coarsegrain texture, dark brown color, and standing pouch packaging with size of 250 gram. The consumption ofcrystal palm sugar is as an alternative sweetener, and the brands that are widely purchased are Aromanis,Haan, and Edna. Consumer usually buy the palm sugar in the size of 250 gram with a frequency ofpurchase is once to two times, and the total consumption is fifteen times in a month. The amount ofpurchases made is 272 grams in a month, and the amount of consumption is 176 grams in a month. Basedon the analysis, the consumer satisfaction falls into e very satisfied category. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze preferences, consumption patterns, and consumer satisfaction in purchasing instant coconut milk at modern market of Bandar Lampung City. The research method was a survey with the accidental sampling approach to select 60 respondents at Chandra Superstore and Chamart Gajah Mada located in Tanjung Karang Timur sub-district, Super Indo and Indomaret Kemiling at Kemiling sub-district. Data collection was carried ou  in February 2025. The analytical methods used were conjoint analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The findings indicate that the consumers of instant coconut milk in the range of age between 35-40 and 41-46 years old   have the same percentage, which is 26.67 percent. The attributes of instant coconut milk that became consumer preferences are Instant coconut milk with a sharp and distinctive aroma, in the package of 65 ml, have an expiration date more that 3 months, and the composition consists of more than 85 percent coconut milk. Meanwhile, the brand that coconut milk instant that often purchase by the consumers are Sasa and Kara (21 respondents or 35 percent) in the last month there were 29 respondents who consumed 65 ml instant coconut milk.  The average purchase and consumption is 130.08 ml/transaction with an average frequency of 2.4 times/month in the last month.  There are 83.33 percent consumers who use instant coconut milk as a complement to savory cooking ingredients.  Consumer satisfaction reaches 75.40 percent which falls into satisfied in category. The attributes that require immediate improvement are aroma, nutritional value, and price.   Key words:   consumption pattern, customer satisfaction, instant coconut milk, preference
