Abstract

WHO menetapkan wabah Covid-19 sebagai darurat kesehatan masyarakat, sehingga institusi pendidikan dituntut menyediakan pembelajaran alternatif berupa pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi kehadiran sosial dalam pembelajaran daring Mahasiswa Farmasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 150 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan statistika deskriptif yaitu mean (rata-rata) & persentase. Kuesioner dalam penelitian ini diuji validitas hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada 3 item yang tidak valid dan di uji reliabel dengan pengambilan keputusan nilai koefisien Cronbach’s alpha yang diperoleh ≥0,60 dinyatakan reliabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas partisipan adalah wanita (87,3%) dengan usia 21-23 tahun (51,3%). Rata-rata persepsi partisipan terhadap aspek keterhubungan dan aspek pembelajaran pada pembelajaran daring lebih tinggi menggunakan whatsapp group, selain itu juga Partisipan lebih memilih menggunakan webinar zoom sebagai media pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Nanoemulsion is one of the nanotechnology applications that can measure particles 0-100 nm which has control of the release of active ingredients and good sensory properties. Nanoemulsion of ethanol leaf extract in various plants has considerable potential in the utilization of natural materials. The solvent used is an important factor. This research focuses on plant leaf parts with ethanol extract. The purpose of this review is to study, evaluate and analyze literature focused on the characteristics of nanoemulsion preparations of ethanol leaf extracts in various plants related to nanoemulsion components, manufacturing methods, and nanoemulsion preparation characteristics. This research uses the method of literature review or narrative review, the search for published scientific literature is indexed in various databases. Search articles through various databases to ensure that the majority of relevant studies have been identified. Based on the results of the literature review concluded that the most widely used surfactant in the review of these articles is Polysorbat 80 or Tween 80 which is a non-ionic and non-irritative surfactant commonly used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations. Ultrasonification and microfluidation methods are also applied in some articles because they are capable of producing a minimum droplet diameter of 150 to 170 nm..The results of the study of particle size in the article produced particle sizes between 10.9 nm-312.1 nm. Indeks polidispersitas value 0.08-0.7 zeta potential value above +/-30 and EE value shows value above 80%. It can be concluded that the nanoemulsion characteristics of each article meet the requirements and produce stable nanoemulsions.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction and trust are the main focus in the context of health care. Patient satisfaction is influenced by medication service factors, handling patient complaints and listening to patient needs. Important to develop and test a patient-centered care model as a tool to monitor, measure, analyze, and increase patient satisfaction and trust among people with non-communicable diseases in Public Health Center service setting. This study attempts to ascertain the effect of care on patient satisfaction and trust in pharmacy staff at the Magelang City Public Health Center. Cross-sectional quantitative research is used in this field. 212 people participated as the sample. Non-probability sampling using a purposive sample strategy was used as the sampling technique in this investigation. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) is used for hypothesis testing. According to the study's findings, patient satisfaction is positively impacted by pharmacy staffs’ participative behavior and interpersonal communication (p< 0.05). Interpersonal communication and pharmacy staff participation do not affect the trust in pharmacy staff (p> 0.05). Patient satisfaction plays a moderating role in the association between pharmacy staff participation and trust in pharmacy staff (p< 0.05). Likewise, the association between interpersonal communication and trust in pharmacy staff is mediated by patient satisfaction (p< 0.05).

Abstract

One of the plants that live in Indonesia and has many benefits is Acanthus ilicifolius or jeruju. The jeruju plant is included in the Acanthus family plant which is used for traditional medicine. One of the benefits of the jeruju plant is as an anticancer. The literature search process related to Acanthus ilicifolius and anticancer was carried out using an electronic data base. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effectiveness of jeruju plant extracts as anticancer and research methods used in previous studies. Jeruju plant extract can be used as an anticancer and has the potential to inhibit the proliferation of HeLa cervical cancer cells. In jeruju leaf extract contained flavonoids, saponins and terpenoids as anticancer compounds with cytotoxic activity values in isolates showed an IC50 value of 88.89 ug/mL. The test method is MMT with maceration extraction method and methanol solution.

Abstract

This community service's goal is to prepare children for the New Normal by educating them about the corona virus, media and transmission methods, signs of infection, physical and social isolation, and how to adjust to and discipline strict measures to prevent transmission. The method of this dedication is by socializing and practicing how to wash hands according to WHO, cleaning objects that can be intermediaries for transmission, wearing masks, keeping a safe distance, increasing self-immunity by exercising diligently, taking vitamins and consuming nutritious food. Every person, including children, should take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The presence of discipline in this prevention effort and the ability to adjust to the new normal will be a turning point in the battle against the corona virus.

Abstract

Jeruju plant has some benefits in reducing symptoms of a particular disease. However, there is little discussion about plants in nursing. Therefore, the literature review aims to identify the effectiveness of Jeruju plant extract as an anti-inflammatory. The method used is a literature review integrating electronic databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect. The keywords used in Indonesian are "Acanthus ilicifolius as anti-inflammatory," and the keywords in English are "Acanthus ilicifolius AS anti-inflammatory." The Jeruju plant (Acanthus ilicifolius) contains flavonoids acting as an anti-inflammatory. Flavanoids help to reduce the inflammation in the disease. The clinical nurse may use the finding of this review for health promotion for the patient with chronic illness. Abstract

Telepharmacy is an online application used to provide pharmaceutical services in the modern era. Therefore, this study aims to develop a questionnaire on a research model that integrates three well-known theories, namely the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), the protection motivation theory (PMT), and the DeLone and McLean information success model, to determine factors that influence people’s behavior towards the adoption of telepharmacy services. A cross-sectional observational method was used with the purposive sampling technique. A total of 118 participants who were at least 18 years old received the questionnaire. They were selected using convenience sampling from a variety of population groupings. Data analysis was then performed with the exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Factor extraction was carried out using principal component analysis and varimax rotation. The results show 8 factors consisting of social influence and support 15.54%; understanding of proficiency, confidence and quality of information 11.06%; condition of facilities and skills 6.64%; severity and suffering 7.87%; time opportunity support and system quality 7.74%; intention to adopt telepharmacy 7.34%; perceived vulnerability 6.80%; and attitude 6.37%. Furthermore, the overall construct formed can explain 72.40% of the total variance. These results indicate that the telepharmacy service adoption behavior questionnaire is valid and reliable.

Abstract

Mangrove plants in Indonesia are the largest in the world, both in terms of area quantity (+42,550 km2) and number of species (+45 species). Mangroves are a diverse group of salt tolerant plants that grow in intertidal tropical and subtropical forests and represent a rich biodiversity of plants, animals and microorganisms. Acanthus ilicifolius is one of the true mangrove plants which is used as medicine. This literature review aims to determine the study of benzoxazolinone compounds in jeruju plants (Acanthus ilicifolius) from previous studies and to determine the methods, plant parts and solvents used. The literature review method related to the jeruju plant (Acanthus ilicifolius) uses an electronic data base google scholar. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy analysis method is one of the spectroscopic methods widely used in previous studies, because NMR spectroscopy is useful in determining the structure of a chemical compound, both proton (1H) and carbon (13C) NMR. Jeruju leaf extract contains alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols, phenyletanoid glycosides and coumarin compounds. The methanol fraction of jeruju leaf extract has a pharmacological effect to inhibit edema (inflammation). The extraction method used is maceration, because this method is simple method and most widely used. Meanwhile, the solvents that are more widely used are methanol and ethanol solvents.

Abstract

Implementation of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is an effort to empower household members to understand, want, and be able to practice clean and healthy living behaviors in the community. The purpose of this community service is to increase public understanding of clean and healthy living behavior and improve public health standards. The participants of this activity is the residents of Ngaropoh Hamlet. The method used is the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) approach with socialization, education and training about PHBS, planting medicinal plants, the Covid-19 vaccine, and self-healing, and cadre assistance. The resulting impact is that people understand, aware, and implement clean and healthy behavior in their environment. In the future, it is hoped that the residents of Ngaropoh Hamlet will remain consistent in maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Inventory management remains a critical issue for hospital pharmacies. Thus, there is a need for pharmaceuticals to meet economic resources. Moreover, the decision to make drug requests available should be considered, and the complexity of the problem lies in the random nature of and the various constraints that must be considered in any decision. This study aimed to analyze drug management during the planning and procurement stages of medicine in a teaching hospital in Yogyakarta. The qualitative method was used to his type of research is descriptive-analytical with a case study design of one of the public, academic hospitals in the Yogyakarta area. Data collection was conducted through interviews using a content analysis approach. The analysis technique was carried out by reducing data, analyzing data, identifying themes, and extracting data interpretation with the help of NVIVO 12 software. Overall, interviews were conducted with six participants to obtain information on drug management during the planning and procurement stages in the hospital, following the standards of home pharmacy services. The stages also included budget allocation by volume of services, increasing the competence of human resources, which supports the improvement of drug management performance, implementation of e-prescribing to facilitate monitoring evaluation, and availability of complete standard operating procedures. However, the accuracy of drug planning still needs to be improved so that an integrated management information system can support optimal drug management in a teaching hospital pharmacy installation.
