Abstract

This research is a sequential explanatory mixed method research which consists of a quantitative research and a qualitative research. This study consists of two variables, the independent variable (X) namely Ecological Intelligence and the dependent variable (Y) namely Participation in maintaining Environmental Cleanliness. This study aims to obtain information about relationship between ecological intelligence and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and to find out other factors related to participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness of high school students in Cibinong. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong and SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong in the 2020/2021 academic year. The research began in November 2020 until June 2021. The subjects of this study are students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong and SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. The research population was taken using a multistage random sampling technique. The research sample was determined by proportional random sampling technique using the slovin formula. Based on the calculation of the slovin formula, the number of samples was 166 students. The instrument used in this study is a non-test instrument, namely a questionnaire. The results of the study found that there was a positive relationship between ecological intelligence and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness in SMA Negeri students in Cibinong District. The positive relationship is shown by the regression equation Ý = 32.524 + 0.673x with an r value of 0.697 and a coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.485, which means that 48.5% of ecological intelligence contributes to participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness, while the remaining 51.5% is a contribution from other factors beyond ecological intelligence. As for other factors related to participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness, namely: self-awareness, environment (family, friends, school), regulations, and information media. Keywords: Ecological intelligence, participation in maintaining enviromental cleanliness, student.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media E-Booklet for reproductive system materials to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in biology subjects for the human reproductive system. This research was conducted from December 2020 to June 2021. The trial in this study consisted of one class using the model one group pretest- posttest design. The results of the validation related to the feasibility of the media E-Booklet obtained a score of 91% in the Very Valid category. The results of the pretest and posttest scores of class XI IPA-1 students in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. This is indicated by the average value of the pretest before using the learning media, which is 33. While the average posttest after using the learning media is 87 with a Biology minimum completeness criteria value of 72. The N-Gain value has an average of 0.81 or in N Gain% is 81% indicating high category. This shows that the learning media E-Booklet material for the human reproductive system can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.

needs to be learned by elementary school students. The problem of this drought disaster has an impact on the sustainability of people's lives, including impacting elementary school students. Capabilities such as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) which are implemented in the form of an attitude of caring for the environment need to be developed. The purpose of this study was to describe HOTS scores and environmental care attitudes of elementary school students on the topic of drought and environmental care attitudes. The results of this study indicate that students' HOTS scores are still in the low category (27.70). As for the attitude of caring for the environment is in the moderate category (69.12). Environmental education needs to be developed to increase HOTS and environmental care attitudes related to drought disasters which have an impact on public health. The conclusion of this study is that students' HOTS scores are still in the low category and environmental care attitudes are still in the moderate category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-book interaktif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) adalah model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2021. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 1 Gunungputri kelas XI MIPA 4 sebanyak 30 orang siswa. Pelaksanaan uji coba dilaksanakan secara terbatas dalam bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran dalam jaringan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian the one group pretest – postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada peneltian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli untuk menguji kelayakan e-book interaktif, instrumen soal tes siswa untuk mengetahui kompetensi siswa, serta instrumen angket respon guru dan siswa untuk mengetahui kepraktisan e-book interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan rata – rata nilai validasi ahli pakar sebesar 90,3% dengan kriteria sangaat layak. Bahan ajar e-book interaktif memiliki keefektifan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi dengan rata – rata nilai n-gain sebesar 0,4 (40%) dengan kriteria sedang dan tingkat efektivitas cukup efektif. Berdasarkan angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap bahan ajar e-book interaktif diperoleh sebesar 95,55% dan hasil angket siswa sebesar 82,20 % dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Kegiatan dosen goes to school bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat peserta didik khususnya di SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi guna mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas untuk mencapai SDG’s dibidang pendidikan. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa tingkat presentase untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi masih sangat rendah ini dikarenakan bukan hanya faktor ekonomi namun motivasi dari siswa yang rendah selain itu pola pikir dari orang tua yang menganggap bahwa jenjang pendidikan tertinggi sampai pada tingkat sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian ini diawali dengan observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah, selanjutnya disepakati pelaksanaan dosen goes to school untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi di SMAN 1 Cisarua. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini guru biologi SMAN 1 Cisarua selaku mitra memberikan kesempatan kepada para dosen untuk mengajar pada jam pelajaran di kelas XII dengan materi yang sudah ditentukan oleh pihak sekolah dan guru. Selesai proses pembelajaran dosen menjelaskan atau memperkenalkan bagaimana proses perkuliahan dan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa agar meningkatkan minat melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango (TNGGP) Jawa Barat merupakan salah satu taman nasional yang mengkonservasi jenis anggrek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies anggrek apa saja yang terdapat di Resort PTN Wilayah II Selabintana TNGGP, mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman jenis anggrek, dan mengetahui pohon inang yang digunakan sebagai habitat anggrek epifit. Penelitian dilakukan di Resort PTN Selabintana TNGGP pada lokasi I, II, dan III. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan Visual Encounter Survey (VES) di sepanjang jalur dengan radius ke kanan dan ke kiri 1 meter. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 7 jenis anggrek yakni Liparis pallida, Coelogyne sp., Appendicula angustifolia, Bulbophyllum angustifolium, Eria multiflora, Oberonia sp., dan Ceratostylis sp.. Spesies yang paling dominan ditemukan adalah Liparis pallida, Ceratostylis sp., dan Coelogyne sp. Tingkat keanekaragaman jenis anggrek di Resort PTN Selabintana tergolong sedang. Pohon inang yang digunakan sebagai habitat anggrek epifit adalah Schima wallichii, Ficus sp., Cyathea sp., batang pohon yang sudah mati dan ranting jatuh.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif  yaitu suatu kecakapan yang melibatkan seseorang untuk berimajinasi atau bernalar sesuai dengan pemikirannya sendiri, hal tersebut akan memunculkan sebuah ide atau gagasan yang baru dan inovatif dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Pembelajaran STEM merupakan pendekatan dalam pendidikan di mana Sains, Teknologi, Teknik, Matematika terintegrasi dengan proses pendidikan yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang nyata serta dalam kehidupan professional. Pembelajaran STEM berbasis lesson study dapat membantu siswa untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman, karena saat ini pembelajaran bukan hanya seputar teori, konsep dan suatu mata pelajaran dengan fokus bahasan saja tetapi peserta didik juga dilatih untuk mengintegrasikan empat bidang sekaligus untuk menjadi sebuah kesatuan dan pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) berbasis lesson study. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMA Negeri di kabupaten Bogor.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran STEM berbasis lesson study dapat menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, hal ini ditandai dengan munculnya kemampuan .. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran STEM berbasis lesson study ini dapat diterpkan oleh guru di sekolah untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

The community service program on child nutrition education aimed at preventing stunting in Desa Gunung Geulis sought to address the high prevalence of stunting due to nutritional issues. Initial situation analysis revealed that 40% of children in the village experienced stunting, with 70% of parents having limited knowledge about balanced nutrition. Based on these findings, comprehensive and easily understandable educational materials and training modules were developed, covering essential information on balanced nutrition, types of nutritious foods, and methods for preparing and presenting healthy meals using local ingredients. The outreach and training were conducted at three strategic locations and attended by 150 parents and caregivers, employing interactive and practical methods. Follow-up support and monitoring over three months showed that 80% of the families improved their children’s nutritional intake. The final evaluation indicated a significant increase in parental knowledge about nutrition from 30% to 85% and a reduction in stunting prevalence from 10% to 8% within six months. These results demonstrate that a structured, community-based educational approach effectively enhances nutritional knowledge and reduces stunting, significantly impacting child well-being in Desa Gunung Geulis.

Abstract

The addition of asynchronous learning hours in e-learning can cause students to have to understand large amounts of material. So that it can be a cognitive burden for students. The purpose of this study was to describe the cognitive load of students during online learning in the subject of vertebrate diversity and classification, especially on the structure of Pisces and amphibians. The research method used in this study was quantitative descriptive by examining the ability to receive and process information, mental effort and the learning outcomes of 46 students of the Biology Education Study Program at Pakuan University. The instrument used in the study was to measure the ability to receive and process information through a test in the form of a task complexity worsheet. Mental effort was measured through a questionnaire (Likert scale) with a range of 1-5. Learning outcomes were measured in the form of an essay test. The results obtained that the learning activities carried out have the characteristics of a high cognitive load component. The high cognitive load obtained by students is seen from the high mental effort and the high intrinsic load possessed by students, so that it has an impact on the learning outcomes obtained.
