Abstract

Proses pemesinan yang biasanya digunakan dalam proses produksi membutuhkan ketelitian yang tinggi untuk mendapatkan hasil yang baik. Ketelitian, kepresisian dan kualitas permukaan menjadi prioritas utama yang menjadi acuan dalam pengerjaan proses pemesinan. Hasil permukaan benda kerja yang baik salah satu yang diharapkan dari setiap pengerjaan. Tingkat kepresisian dan kekasaran permukaan benda kerja yang dihasilkan harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Menyadari bahwa permukaan yang dikerjakan pada proses pemesinan selalu timbul kekasaran, gelombang dan kerataan pada permukaan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan putaran spindel dan kedalaman pemakanan terhadap tingkat kekasaran permukaan material aluminium 6061 menggunakan mesin frais CNC dengan tipe VMC 1000B. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan mesin frais CNC tipe VMC 1000B dengan material Aluminium 6061. Variasi pemotongan berupa kecepatan putaran spindle (1700 rpm,1800 rpm,1900 rpm) dan kedalaman pemakanan (0,1 mm, 0,2 mm, 0,3 mm). Proses pengefraisan dengan melakukan penyayatan permukaan benda kerja, setelah itu dilakukan uji kekasaran permukaan menggunakan 2 alat, yang pertama menggunakan alat surface roughness tester dan yang kedua menggunakan mikroskop digital guna mengetahui hasil kekasaran permukaan material Aluminium 6061. Hasil penelitian pengaruh variasi kecepatan spindel dan kedalaman pemakanan pada proses frais terhadap kekasaran permukaan material Aluminium 6061 diperoleh, hasil uji statistik dari pengujian eksperimen faktorial menggunakan software Minitab 19 maka yang berpengaruh paling signifikan adalah tingkat kekasaran benda kerja berdasarkan kecepatan putaran spindel. Hal ini dibuktikan nilai P-Value 0.000 dengan α = 0.05. Kecepatan putaran spindel dengan nilai kekasaran permukaan terendah adalah kecepatan putaran spindel yang terbesar, karena menghasilkan kekasaran permukaan alumunium 6061 paling rendah dengan nilai uji kekasaran permukaan 0.17 µm.

Abstract

The propulsion of the rocket is due to the thrust resulting from the combustion rate. The propellant energy can be increased by increasing the fuel pressure and temperature of the propellant. Increasing the pressure and temperature of the propellant will increase its combustion rate and the operating conditions of the rocket motor. The most effective liquid propellant used is Nitroglycerin (NG). Nitroglycerin was prepared using the glycerol nitration method with the principle of an injector-based reactor. Therefore, in this research, nitroglycerin was made using the Injector Reactor method with variations in flow rate and injection volume. The results showed that the effect of variations in flow rate and solution volume on the synthesis of nitroglycerin caused a change in solution temperature. Flow rate is closely related to the volume of solution used. The higher the temperature produced, the more heat energy will increase so that the pressure and combustion rate of the propellant increase. The most optimum results use a flow rate of 200 µm/s and a solution volume of 6 ml of glycerin, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid each with a temperature of 37.6oC.

Abstract

This service activity was carried out in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, with the Duwet Village Head Partner. The Community Service Team found the condition of the Duwet Village BUMDes named Dewantara which was unable to maximize the potential of Duwet Village, the lack of understanding of BUMDes managers and the community about BUMDes management, and a lack of understanding about the importance of the legality of the business owned by Dewantara BUMDes, namely the woven bamboo craft business. Community service activities are carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage (socialization, mentoring, and training), and the activity evaluation stage. The solutions we offer are 3 (three) aspects, namely social aspects, legal and economic aspects (capital), and aspects of service quality or social life. The method used in this community service activity is lecture and question and answer, namely the delivery of material about the meaning of business legality, procedures for obtaining business legality, trademark registration, MSMEs. . In addition to the lectures, discussions and questions and answers were also held to provide opportunities for participants consisting of BUMDesa administrators from Duwet Village, Wringinsongo Village and Tulusbesar Village. The result of this activity for participants is insight into business legality and various forms of business legality.

Abstract

Teknologi telah masuk ke berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia saat ini. Salah satu contohnya adalah penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan di Kelompok Bermain (KB). Penelitian ini terintegrasi dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru KB Bina Cendikia untuk 1) menggunakan sarana berbasis IT, 2) memberikan gambaran tentang aktivitas guru KB Bina Cendikia dalam pembuatan media belajar, pengerjaan administrasi sekolah dan pengerjaan laporan dalam berbagai aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat di KB Bina Cendikia 1) Meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam mengoperasikan laptop pada aplikasi dapodik, data centerlink, MS word, MS excel, power point, dan aplikasi tambahan secara baik dan benar, 2) Guru menyambut baik penggunaan laptop dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran, pengerjaan administrasi sekolah dan laporan dalam berbagai aplikasi di KB Bina Cendikia.

Abstract

Dalam penggunaanya, mesin kendaraan akan terus mengalami perubahan. Perawatan pada kendaraan perlu dilakukan secara rutin untuk menjaga keandalan (reliability) mesin agar selalu bekerja sesuai dengan fungsinya. Penjadwalan perawatan merupakan penerapan dari preventive maintenance dan predictive maintenance. Dalam penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis penjadwalan perawatan kendaraan menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan nilai keandalan, menentukan penyebab kegagalan / kerusakan, usulan jadwal perawatan sehingga diharapkan dengan penerapan perawatan menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) dapat mengurangi angka kerusakan dan gangguan pada beberapa sistem utama kendaraan.

Abstract

H-beam steel is often used as a basic material for building construction on the coast. Cases that often occur are H-beam steel that is installed quickly corrodes. This incident is caused by the coastal area belongs to an environment with a high level of corrosiveness.From the results of the pH tester test, the value of the degree of acidity is in rangeof pH=5 to pH=7.Coastal soils contain a lot of chloride Cl. In an acidic environment accompanied by a chloride Cl element, it triggers the breakdown of the passive layer on the surface which causes an anodic region to form so that the steel is in a state of releasing electrons. The problem that occurs can be overcome using a sacrificial anode cathodic protection system, with a zinc metal protection mechanism (Zn) 99, 99% which is used as a sacrificial anode has a lower potential value than the potential value of H-beam steel as a cathode protected by zinc metal (Zn) . This value of zinc metal (Zn) is more negative than the Fe steel which potential value is . The value of the potential difference is that it can be ascertained that the released Zn electrons can flow and adhere to the protected H-beam steel. Abstract

To obtain the desired results in the manufacturing process, especially the bending process, the occurrence of springback must be reduced. The effective strain rate must be increased to predict the increase in material. This study uses a simulation method to determine the influence of material type and compressive speed variation on spring back and effective strain rate. This study uses 3 kinds of materials: JIS SPHD, JIS A1100 BE, and JIS SN400A, and speed variations, namely: 90 mm/s, 105 mm/s, and 120 mm/s. This study shows that JIS SN400A material has the smallest springback value compared to JIS A1100 BE and JIS SPHD materials because the nitrogen content in JIS SN400A makes it more plastic. At a compressive speed of 105 mm/s, springbacks tend to decrease in JIS SN400A, JIS SPHD, and JIS A1100 BE materials caused by residual stress. The average effective strain in JIS SN400A material increases in line with the increase in compressive speed, because JIS SN400A material has the highest melting temperature compared to JIS SPHD and JIS A1100 BE materials to reduce the risk of residual stress, the nitrogen content in JIS SN400A material also plays a role in increasing the effective strain value.

Abstract

Cassava must go through several manufacturing processes before it becomes chips on the market, including the process of stirring the dough. The stirring process is an important stage in various food industries. In the stirring process, the viscosity change in the dough is influenced by various factors, including the stirring process time and speed in stirring. Research on dough viscosity is important because it is directly related to the quality of the final product. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations to users, both in the context of using horizontal mixers and the process of making similar products. The type of research used is quantitative research based on experimental methods that aim to test a hypothesis by collecting data that can be measured using statistics, mathematics, and computing. The independent variables in this study are rotation speed (20, 40, and 80 rpm) and stirring time (5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes). From these independent variables calculations and data analysis, the optimal setting was obtained using a rotation speed of 80 rpm and a stirring time of 15 minutes with a dough viscosity of 1411.12 PaS. The rotation speed of 80 rpm has more even data or more consistent data compared to the rotation speed values of 20 rpm and 40 rpm.

Abstract

Salah satu prasarana layanan PAUD yang utama adalah ketersediaan air bersih. Penyediaan fasilitas sanitasi sekolah merupakan salah satu prioritas pembangunan yang termasuk ke dalam tujuan dari Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Prasarana layanan PAUD yang utama dan berhubungan dengan ketersediaan air bersih adalah kamar mandi/ toilet, dapur dan area cuci. Mitra Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPm) ini adalah seluruh stakeholder dan komponen PAUD Bina Cendikia di Desa Sidorejo Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Selama ini kebutuhan air bersih di suplai dari sekolah yang berada di sebelah PAUD sehingga ketersediaannya tergantung pada pihak lain. Untuk itu, tujuan dari PPm ini adalah menyediakan sarana prasarana air bersih di sekolah yang dapat tersedia cukup dan kontinyu. Selain untuk kebutuhan sanitasi, air minum dan penyiraman tanaman, air bisa menjadi media pembelajaran melalui berbagai kegiatan yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa. Metode pelaksanaan PPm meliputi tahapan koordinasi dan survey lokasi, penentuan spesifikasi teknis sumur bor dan kelengkapannya, pembuatan sumur bor, serah terima, sosialisasi dan praktek penggunaan air sebagai media pembelajaran. Selanjutnya juga dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi (Monev) kegiatan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan program. Hasil kegiatan berupa tersedianya air bersih untuk berbagai kebutuhan sekolah dan juga pengayaan pembelajaran menggunakan media air.
