Abstract

Pemandian Sumberingin di Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang, adalah salah satu tempat wisata alam yang pernah populer di Jawa Timur. Dikenal dengan keindahan alamnya, sumber mata air, dan suasana yang sejuk, tempat ini sangat potensial untuk menarik wisatawan. Isu pokok yang diangkat dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah peningkatan perekonomian warga dengan menghidupkan kembali kejayaan pemandian Sumberingin. Metode yang dipakai ialah menambah jumlah wahana, terutama wahana spot foto. Hasilnya ialah kesan pengunjung pemandian Sumberingin yang semakin baik, serta diharapkan berpengaruh bagi jumlah kunjungan wisatawan

Abstract

The design and material selection used during the manufacturing process significantly impact the environment due to their energy consumption and waste production, including carbon dioxide emissions. This study used the LCA tool eco-indicator to evaluate the environmental impact of producing clothes-hanging machines. Two different press tool designs were analyzed, each using other materials for punch and die. The results indicate that the press tool design 2 with SKD11 punch and die is suitable for long-term use but emits the highest CO2 emissions at 102.33 kg CO2. In contrast, the press tool design 1 with S45C punch and die is suitable for short-term use but emits the lowest CO2 emissions at 69.72 kg CO2.

Abstract

Print parameters are factors that influence the mechanical strength of 3D printed objects. Based on a literature review, the parameters of layer thickness, printing speed, and fill geometry percentage value influence the mechanical strength of 3D printed objects. This study focuses on a combination of robust 3D printing parameters for designing CNC router machine gears. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of printing parameters on the mechanical strength of tensile loads on 3D printed objects. From the experimental results, it was found that by providing a combination of layer thickness parameters, printing speed parameters, and fill percentage parameters, it has an effect on the mechanical strength resistance of 3D printed objects to accept tensile loads. From the research it was found that the ideal layer thickness parameter of 0.1 to 0.2 mm does not exceed half the size of the nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm to produce fine raster fibers. From the research it was found that the ideal speed parameter for printing gears with ABS filament material is at speed 30 mm/s to 50 mm/s to produce a stable raster fiber size and the percentage parameter of a good fill for printing gears is at a value of 20% to 40%. The results of the research found the best printing parameters for printing gears with a print parameter formula with a 3D print parameter formula layer height 0.15mm, gyroid infill 20%, with a speed of 30mm/s maximum tensile strength reaching 30.7 MPa with the results of wheel loading simulation analysis gear is able to withstand a maximum workload of 85 Kg

Abstract

Fouling menjadi permsalahan pada proses produksi di suatu industri, terutama industri yang memiliki prosesperpindahan panas. Fouling dapat mengurangi perpindahan panas yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu terjadinyafouling harus diatasi dengan cleaning yang cepat. Untuk mempercepat proses cleaning, terutama pada foulingdengan material droplet minyak nabati dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan sifat wettability. Sifatwettability dapat diatur dengan mengatur temperatur pada droplet. Tujuan analisis ini adalah mengetahuifaktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada wettability, sehingga dapat dipakai untuk memudahkan proses cleaning. Berdasarkan analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa wettability dipengaruhi oleh temperatur minyak nabatiserta kerataan permukaan substrate-nya.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan pada Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) Bathok Koi di Kota Blitar dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi besar pemanfaatan limbah tempurung kelapa yang selama ini belum dioptimalkan secara maksimal. Tempurung kelapa yang melimpah umumnya hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai arang bakar tradisional dengan nilai ekonomi rendah, sehingga diperlukan inovasi pengolahan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambahnya. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra mencakup keterbatasan teknologi pengolahan, rendahnya pengetahuan tentang manajemen produksi, serta belum adanya struktur organisasi usaha yang sistematis dan kemitraan bahan baku yang berkelanjutan. Menjawab permasalahan tersebut, program PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui koordinasi, diskusi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta pengadaan teknologi tepat guna. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengadaan dan instalasi mesin hammer mill, mixer, dan pressing otomatis, pelatihan teknis pengoperasian dan perawatan mesin, pembentukan struktur organisasi usaha, serta fasilitasi kemitraan bahan baku dengan pihak produsen minyak kelapa murni (VCO). Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa mitra berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas produksi briket dengan kualitas yang memenuhi standar ekspor, baik dari aspek kepadatan, homogenitas bahan, maupun kualitas nyala. Selain itu, mitra memperoleh keterampilan baru dalam manajemen produksi, pengendalian mutu, dan tata kelola organisasi usaha yang lebih terstruktur. Keberhasilan menjalin kemitraan bahan baku dengan pemasok tempurung kelapa juga menjamin kontinuitas usaha sehingga produksi dapat berjalan secara konsisten. Perubahan kondisi mitra terlihat jelas, di mana sebelumnya usaha Bathok Koi masih bersifat tradisional dengan keterbatasan teknologi dan sistem manajemen, kini telah berkembang menjadi usaha yang lebih modern, efisien, dan siap bersaing di pasar ekspor. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PkM ini tidak hanya menyelesaikan permasalahan mendasar mitra, tetapi juga memberikan dampak berkelanjutan dalam penguatan kapasitas produksi, manajemen usaha, serta peningkatan daya saing produk berbasis limbah tempurung kelapa.

Abstract

Mr. Ujang Cracker Factory, located in Pakiskembar Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency, is one of the UMKM that produces crackers. Most of the machines used in cracker processing at Mr. Ujang Cracker Factory still use a simple mechanical system. One of these machines is a cracker molding machine, where the speed is still adjusted manually by replacing the pulley. This study aims to recondition the cracker molding machine by adding a control panel in the form of a VSD inverter with the aim of facilitating the speed control process in operating the cracker molding machine. This study was conducted by analyzing the consistency of the influence of frequency and pulley diameter variations on the speed of the electric motor and mechanical movements in the cracker molding machine. The results of the study show that the frequency of the VSD inverter and the pulley diameter have a significant effect on the entire mechanism of the cracker printing machine. Based on the standard deviation value, the consistency of the pressing movement speed was obtained at a frequency of 40 Hz with a pulley diameter of 2 inches. From this study, it can be concluded that the overall frequency of the VSD inverter is the main parameter in determining the speed and stability of the cracker printing machine. Meanwhile, the variation in pulley diameter only serves as an additional mechanical adjustment to increase or decrease the output speed from the electric motor to the mechanical movement of the cracker printing machine.

Abstract

Community service activities were carried out in Tumpang District, Malang Regency with partners, namely UMKM Jamu WR9 which is a representative of MSMEs in Wringinsongo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. These business actors include the production and sales processes. Community service activities are carried out with the aim of providing understanding to business actors regarding the factors supporting business activities, namely legality and business management factors, in this case PIRT licensing so that business activities carried out are not only profit-oriented, but business activities can continue to develop in the future. by paying attention to and implementing supporting factors for business activities and by providing assistance with PIRT licensing. The activity implementation method consists of three stages. The first preparation stage includes pre-survey, team formation, proposal creation and submission, team and partner coordination as well as preparation of tools and materials to assist PIRT licensing. The second stage is the program implementation stage in the form of assistance which begins with discussion and preparation for PIRT management by providing a sealer machine and stove. The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the conditions of partners before and after program implementation using interview and observation methods. After that, a report is prepared for subsequent publication. With the implementation of this program, there will be an improvement in society's value order in the field of education, especially in the fields of economics and law. Keywords: PIRT permit, UMKM

Abstract

Tim Pengabdian Politeknik Negeri Malang melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Dusun Petungsewu, Desa Duwet, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang dengan mitra UMKM Kerupuk J&R. Kerupuk J&R, merupakan salah satu contoh usaha yang memiliki potensi besar namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek legalitas produk. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada UMKM Kerupuk J&R tentang pentingnya faktor pendukung usaha, khususnya legalitas dan manajemen usaha, melalui pendampingan dalam pengurusan legalitas agar bisnis dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang diterapkan pada pelaksanaan program kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahapan utama, yaitu tahap persiapan (pra-pendampingan) dan tahap pelaksanaan (pendampingan). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Desa Petungsewu, Duwet, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang melibatkan pelaku UMKM yang menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi melalui partisipasi aktif. Meskipun hasil keseluruhan belum terlihat, manfaat yang dirasakan adalah peningkatan wawasan dan kesadaran tentang pentingnya legalitas produk.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase production and sales capacity in MSMEs J&R Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. J&R MSMEs are facing bottlenecks in the drying and sorting process of cassava chip dough, which leads to low production capacity. The solution offered is to make a drying device (oven) with a capacity of 100 kg/hour and a roll system dough filer. In addition, training was provided on packaging and marketing products with new logos to increase sales. The method used in this program is intensive training and mentoring. The result of this service has a significant impact on J&R MSMES. Increased production capacity from 50 kg/hour to 100 kg/hour after the use of new equipment, as well as improved product quality through a more consistent drying process. In addition, packaging and marketing training successfully increased the attractiveness of products in the local market and expanded the sales reach. With the new logo, J&R's MSME products are better known, and sales turnover increased by about 15% in the months following the implementation of the program.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen business capacity and legal compliance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Wringinsongo Village, Malang Regency. The main problems faced by the partners are the lack of knowledge among MSME actors regarding business licensing, product certification, and business administration, which limit their market access and competitiveness. The program was carried out by the community service team of Politeknik Negeri Malang in collaboration with the Office of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises of Malang Regency. The methods included training sessions, interactive discussions, and technical assistance in managing business legality, such as Business Identification Number (NIB), Home Industry Food Permit (PIRT), halal certification, and trademark registration. The activity involved 30 MSME participants from Wringinsongo Village on August 14, 2025. The results show an increased understanding and awareness of the importance of business legality, as well as practical skills in managing legal documents. Moreover, this activity fostered a collaborative network between MSMEs and the local government, ensuring long-term sustainability of the enterprises. With this assistance, MSMEs in Wringinsongo Village are expected to grow more competitively, achieve higher business professionalism, and contribute to local economic development.
