Abstract

This research is descriptive method, the aim of this research is to know the students ability to determine the kinds of chemical compound which found from SMA text book. The population in this research at class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo concist of 93 students academic year 2008/2009. The sample of this research are students XIIB1, XIIB2, XIIB3 and XIIB4. To collecting the sample of research based on the average of the class according to the information which I get from the teacher. The instrument of this research by using the text and three alternative answer, and one of the answer 35 items. The result of experimental text get validasi is 85,66% and the reabilities koefisien is 0,92. The result of this research shows that the percentage of the students at class II SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo who can be identify the kinds of chemical compound include in SMA text book, they are : (a) the bond ionic of ion kation and anion (28%), (b) the bond of kovalen nonpolar at chemical homodiatomic (86%), (c) the bond kovalen polar at the chemical heterodiatomic (50%), (d) the bond ionic at the yudium with simple kation and anion polyatomic (15%), (e) the bond of ionic at the yudiom with kation and anion polyatomic (46%), (f) the bond kovalen polar at the ion polyatomic in one yudium (54%), (g) the bond kovalen polar at the ion polyatomic (75%). The patterns of the students mistakes it can be identifier, there are: (a) relation between the same of two atom nonlogam is a relation with kovalen polar, (b) relations of the differences between two of nonlogam include of ionic compound, (c) relation between cation and anion in one of yudium include kovalen compound polar, (d) relation between cation and anion in one of yudium include kovalen compound polar, (e) relation in between kation and anion in one of yudiom include kovalen compound nonpolar, (f) relation between atom logam and atom nonlogsm include of kovalen compound nonpolar, (g) relation between atom logam and nonlogam of polar.

Abstract

Student result of learning was still in the lower category. It must be solving. The way of how to solve the probem by applying cooperative learning method which type of Numbered Heads Together (NHT). The aim of this research is to improve student result of learning for the redoks material which applying cooperative learning method Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. Sampel of the research is students on the tenth grade (XA) of MA Alkhairaat Gorontalo, in the 2008/2009 academic years. The sample consists of 18 students. This research was done/into the two cycles by involved a teacher partner as an observer. The criterion efficacy in this research is 85% student get ? 6,5 and observation toward the teacher and student activity get 75%. Based on this data, the result shows that cooperative learning method Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type can improve students result of learning by seeing students learning improvement which get mark more than 6,5 is 89%.

Abstract

Mustofa, 2011. Penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir formal dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011; (2) hubungan antara kecerdasan visual-spasial dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011; dan (3) hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir formal dan kecerdasan visual-spasial dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI.B1, XI.B2 dan XI.Bexcellent. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh berjumlah 49 siswa. Uji normalitas data dengan menggunakan Chi-kuadrat, analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi dan regresi sederhana, serta analisis korelasi ganda dan regresi ganda. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kemampuan berpikir formal mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011, yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji t dimana th lebih besar dari ttabel (3,4787 > 2,021). Kecerdasan visual-spasial mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011, yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji t dimana th lebih besar dari ttabel (4,8843 > 2,021). Kemampuan berpikir formal dan kecerdasan visual-spasial secara bersama-sama mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kemampuan menggambarkan bentuk molekul siswa kelas XI MAN Model Gorontalo tahun ajaran 2010/2011, yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji F dimana Fh lebih besar dari Ftabel (12,94 > 3,20).

Abstract

This research is one of class art (PTK). This research conducted by because referring low the activity and student\'s motivation in learning the material salt hydrolysis which fetch, to student\'s result. One of solution which can be do by the teacher is applying the cooperative learning type TGT (Teams Games Tournament). The sample of this research at student\'s class XI-B1 MAN Model Gorontalo academic years 2008/2009 which consists twenty student\'s. This research could be do consists of the sicluss. With some changed to low which be found in every sicluss. The first sicluss is applying cooperative learning type TGT (Teams Games Tournament), then second sicluss is art of part the first sicluss based on result of observation and result of evaluation. The result of analysis at the first sicluss indicated the student\'s who get score 6,5 or more consists 16 student\'s (80%) and the student\'s which get score under 6,5 consists of 4 student\'s (20%) with classical capability 87,18% at the first sicluss the result of student\'s not be categorized criterion of result which conducted by observer is 85%, so could be continuo to second sicluss. When at the second sicluss, the student\'s who get score 6,5 or more consists 20 student\'s (100%). This is indicated if applying cooperative learning type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) at the material salt hydrolysis can could be improving result of class XI-B1 MAN Model Gorontalo.

Abstract

The research is descriptive that aimed to know how is the Students ability in comprehending complex compound of transition elements of fourth period in students of Chemical education Department of Gorontalo State University. Technique in collecting the data was test as instrument. Result of validity test was 100% and reliability coefficient was 0,74%. The result showed that students comprehending in complex compound material of transition elements of fourth period were (1) determining central atom at complex compound as 37,23%, (2) determining ligand at complex compound as 39,02%, (3) determining coordination number from complex ion as 35,12%, (4) determining the content of complex compound as 40,78%, (5) writing complex compound formula as 25,5%, (6) giving the name of complex compound as 30,82%, (7) determining the hybridizes of complex compound as 20,56% and (8) determining the form of complex compound as 40,78%.

Abstract

Colloid system [is] a[n mixture form which its [of] located nya [among/between] suspense and condensation ( harsh mixture). Name of colloid given by Thomas Graham in the year 1861. In this case related to glue [is] the nature of its diffusion, because colloid system have low dipusi value like glue because its bigger fairish particle than molecule, that is maximum 1 micrometer. Flash Macromedia [is] animation object creator application which [is] powerful. Added with making [of] graphical object [of] vektor which consist in in it, pemprograman [of] Actionscript. such Animassi that is from atom particle motion and molecule which [do] not look with indra pentameter, generalizing cannot from perception, have to earn generalizing with theory. Result learn [is] ability [of] student in knowledge aspect, understanding of, application, analysis, sintesis, and evaluation [at] colloid system items where this ability [is] obtained to [pass/through] media study [of] flash macromedia. ability [of] Student in the aspect expressed in tes score result of learning. Retention result of learning [is] ability [of] student remember items which have been taught by teacher [at] spanning certain time. Retention result of learning student [is] in this case expressed in retention tes score result of learning. This research aim to Know result learn for the items of taught colloid system by using higher flash macromedia from [at] which [is] taught without using flash macromedia and to know retention result of learning for the items of taught colloid system by using higher flash macromedia from [at] which [is] taught without using flash macromedia. This research represent research [of] eksperimental with used [by] pelitian device [at] this research [is] post test design group controle only with XI IPA SMA Country I class student population Live as an ascetic school year 2008 / 2009. Research Sampel divided two class with the each experiment class by using flash macromedia and class control without using flash macromedia with amount of [is] same student that is 21 people. used instrument in the form of objeksif tes. Before tes used to net data, beforehand analyze indicator of[is quality of tes that is executed [by] reliabilitas and validity [in] SMA Country 4 Gorontalo. Validity Tes obtained 100% and reliabilitas equal to 0,69. Result of research obtained a) [at] tes test result of learning experiment class by using higher obtained score flash macromedia that is = 76,87 compared to tes dennga result of learning [at] class control without using flash macromedia with obtained score = 68,54 in hypothesis test concluded that in signifikan level 0,01 with dk = 40 in the reality diperolen assess thitung = 3,93 > from ttabel ( 0,995)(20) = 2,84 and H0 [in] refusing so that can be expressed that result learn natural student [of] study by using flash macromedia by signifikan compared to better [of] natural student [of] study without using macromedia b) [at] retention tes test result of learning experiment class by using higher obtained score flash macromedia that is = - 29,08 compared to tes dennga result of learning [at] class control without using flash macromedia with obtained score = - 30,10 in hypothesis test concluded that in signifikan level 0,01 with dk = 40 in the reality diperolen assess thitung = 0,34 < from ttabel ( 0,995)(20) = 2,84 and H0 [in] accepting so that can be expressed that result learn natural student [of] study by using flash macromedia by signifikan compared to better [of] natural student [of] study without using macromedia from hopotesis test [at] retention tes result of learning to be categorized [by] there [is] [relation/link] in study by using flash macromedia.
