The partnership between Gapoktan Rukun Tani and vegetable farmers in Bogor was designed to facilitate farmers in overcoming the limitations of production inputs, capital, and market certainty. This study compares a one year production and income of vegetables farmers who participate in the partnership to the non participated vegetables farmers in Bogor. Income analysis and R/C ratio analysis show that the partnership has no influence in increasing the farm production and income. In term of average production, income and R/C ratio, the partnership farmer was lower than that of non partnership farmer (0,96%, 0,97%, and 1,03 lower consecutively). However, the partnership farming increases the bargaining power of farmers by getting higher price and market certainty. Another advantage of paticipating in the partnership is higher access to both capital credit and production input.

National rice production Enhancement Programme (P2BN) is one of Indonesia government effort to fulfill the need of national rice due to high consumption level of rice ( 102 kg. per capita per year ). On 2008 the program was implemented in a field school for integrated plant management (SLPTT). SLPTT was designed to increase farming productivity and its income usahatani and improve the farmersâ welfare. The study aimed to describe the implementation of integrated plant management technology (PTT Technology) and analyzing its effect to the paddy farming productivity and income of 40 paddy farmers (20 PTT farmers and 20 non-PTT farmers that was purposively choosen) in Sukaratu, Gekbrong, Cianjur. The result showed that the PTT technology implementation level in Sukaratu is still low, more than 50% of the farmers were applied only 4 out of 6 components of basic PTT technology and 2 out of 7 components of PTT technology. However, it was proved that the PTT technology improved the productivity, revenue, and the efficiency of paddy farming. The productivity of a SLPTT paddy farming (6 tonnes/ha) is higher than that of non-SLPTT paddy farming (5.13 tons/ha). The income of SLPTT paddy farming (Rp 9.382.641/ha) is larger than that of non-SLPTT farmer. Base on RC ratio, the SLPTT farmers (R/C 1.87) are more efficient than non-SLPTT farmer (R/C 1.66).

This study aimed to analize the marketing institution, market structure and marketing efficiency of local and imported durio in pasar induk kramat jati. Marketing institution analysis covered marketing channel and marketing function analysis, while operational efficiency was measured by margin analysis and benefit-cost ratio analysis. A snowball sampling that was started from a fruit stall in pasar kramat jati revealed that the local durio comes from Palembang, Lampung, and Bengkulu, while the imported durio was imported from Thà iland by the importeer in Tanjung Priok. Both local durioand imported durio was distributed to the consumer by the fruit wholeseller and retailer. The exchanging function, physical function and facilitating function are done by all of the durio marketing institution. The durio market structure is vary, perfect competition market, oligopoly and monopolistic market for local durio and oligopoly, monopoly and monopolistic for imported durio. Although the marketing efficiency of local and imported durio quite the same due to the similarity of its benefit-cost ratio, but the local durio cannot beat the imported durio in term of its quality.

Bojong Jengkol Village Ciampea Bogor is the production center of male sheep. To overcome thecapital, management, and marketing problem in male sheep fattening, having a partnership with CV. Mitra Tani Farm is one of the solution for the farmer, though not all of the farmers in the village participate in the partnership.This study aims to analyse the implementation of the partnership, to describe the farming performance with descriptive analysis, and to comparethe male sheep fatteningprofitof farmers who have a partnership with Mitra Tani Farm to that ofthose who do not. The results show that the non-partnership farmer obtainesthe highest ratio of profit to cash cost per SDD per period. On the other hand, in all scale, the ratio of profit to total cost per SDD per period is negative, which can be concluded that the fattening business is disadvantaging. However, the ratio of profit to total costof the partnership farmers better than that of non-partnership farmer since they have the smallest loss.

KUR (Kredit Usaha Rakyat) is a credit allocated for micro, small and medium enterprise which has economic feasibility but not yet bankable. Since April 2008, KUR realization in BRI unit X suffer from significant decrease cause by high credit arrears. This research analyze the factors affecting KUR realization and repayment. The results indicate that firms turnover, income level, business type, amount of credit and collateral value have significant effect on KUR realization. Meanwhile factors affecting the KUR repayment are sex, education, repayment period and installment and credit rate.

The development of rice agribusiness in Indonesia has a strategic position from the economic, social and political aspect. The availability of rice with an affordable price is the government concern through increasing production, productivity and quality. The development of aromatic rice of Pandan Wangi varieties has a big propect in filling the premium rice segment. The pandan wangi varieties is an indigenous varieties of Cianjur but is less favorable to farmers. This is caused by pandan wangi farming, using certified or non certified seed, is alocatively and economically inefficient, despite technically efficient. High Input price, especially seed, can not be supported by low output price. The government is needed to guarantee the availability of certified seed with lower price and controlled the price of unhulled rice and pandan wangi rice.
