Abstract

Temperature and leakage current on the ZnO arrester are interrelated with each other. In low conduction region, voltage-current characteristics of ZnO surge arrester are highly dependent on temperature. The leakage current will increase as the temperature increases and experience thermal runaway when the temperature exceeds the acceptable limit. This phenomenon is associated with the increase of resistive leakage current due to degradation. Therefore the temperature and leakage current are good indicator to evaluate the condition of ZnO arrester. This paper proposed the degradation  prediction of ZnO surge arrester by analyzed the temperature and leakage current. The 132 kV station type ZnO surge arrester was employed. Temperature profile of ZnO arrester was obtained using thermal camera. The leakage current was measured simultaneous with the temperature measurement to attain the leakage current at the actual temperature. The results shows the leakage current continue increasing by increasing the temperature. Keywords : Resistive leakage current, temperature, degradation, prediction, zinc oxide surge arrester

Abstract

This paper deals with the gas production by monoester oil intended to be used as insulating oil under an electrical discharge of low energy. The monoester contains only saturated fatty acids in its hydrocarbon chain. The electrical fault was realized by implementing an AC high voltage to hemispherical shaped electrode pairs with the gap of 2.5 mm immersed in the oil sample. The voltage application was paused when the breakdown occurred in oil and re-applied repeatedly up to 50 and 75 times to allow a high concentration of gasses produced by the oil sample. The resulting gasses were extracted from the oil sample using the headspace method and then analyzed using gas chromatography (GC). Fault identification methods, like DGA status, Key Gas, Duval Triangle, and IEC Ratio, were performed to predict the fault causing the production of such gasses. The results are compared with those of the monoester of unsaturated type. It is found that the Key Gas method is applicable for both oils under electrical discharge. The Duval Triangle and the IEC Ratio methods diagnose the electrical discharge in both monoesters but overestimate them as high energy discharge.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas hasil eksperimen terhadap sejumlah parameter Etil ester sebagai minyak isolasi. Tiga macam Etil ester, yaitu Etil miristat, Etil palmitate dan Etil stearate, dibuat melalui reaksi esterifikasi antara Etil alcohol dan asam miristat, asam palmitate dan asam stearat. Sejumlah parameter listrik, fisika dan kimia seperti tegangan tembus, viskositas kinematic, massa jenis, kadar air, angka keasaman dan stabilitas oksidasi diuji dan dibandingkan dengan standar spesifikasi ASTM D 6871. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa tegangan tembus semua sampel Etil ester lebih tinggi dari nilai minimal yang dipersyaratkan oleh standar. Viskositas kinematic, massa jenis dan angka keasaman semua sampel lebih rendah dari nilai maksimal yang ditolerir oleh standar. Angka peroksida semua sampel, yang digunakan sebagai indikator stabilitas oksidasi, lebih rendah dari minyak mineral. Kadar air merupakan satu-satunya parameter yang masih lebih tinggi dari nilai yang diperbolehkan oleh standar.

Abstract

The number of lightning stroke on the tower of the 150 kV Koto Panjang-Payakumbuh transmission line located the rocky area has been observed. The high value of tower footing resistance indicates the occurrence of the back-flashover in the transmission line at intensity of 74%. The back-flashover occurrence is dominantly triggered by the tower footing resistance value. Also, the rate of back-flashover has an effect on the value of the tower footing resistance by considering the number of electrode installations. A design is proposed for the grounding system of the tower footings in order to reduce the rate of back-flashover. The results presenting in numerical simulation indicates that it works properly after adding 4 electrodes. That is to say, installing 4 electrodes in each tower has successfully decreased the tower footing resistance value, back-flashovers rate 80% and 90-95% of present value respectively. The insulator voltage can be reduced to less than half of the present voltages as much as 30-50%. In more detail, in tower 77, the value of the tower footing resistance drops to 2.84 Ω, the flashover rate drops to 0.57/100 km/year and the insulator voltage drops to 0.99 MV when a disturbance occurs.

This paper introduces a number of methods for identifying disturbances on transmission lines and provides algorithms for classifying various disturbance types. working with the discrete wavelets transform (DWT) and various embedded systems techniques using a simulator to carry out digital simulations of system trials using the controlled technique, the nature of disturbance in distinct sub-systems is determined. The analysis of transmission lines using the wavelet transform is the main topic of this study, along with techniques for transmission line protection. These factors include channel capacity, channel length, simulation software, mother wavelet type, parameters, sampling frequency, and type of disturbance analysis.

Abstract

Replacement with natural esters (retrofilling) is an alternative solution to extend the life expectancy of an oil-filled transformer containing mineral oil. During the retro-filling process, some portions of the mineral oil remain inside the transformer's tank, forming a mixture between the used mineral oil and the new vegetable oil. In this investigation, methyl ester was mixed with a relatively low percentage of mineral oil to simulate the retro-filling process. The aim is to examine the characteristics of a mixture of mineral and vegetable oils under thermal aging. Thermal aging treatments were carried out at 120°C for 28 days and 140°C for 14 days. Kraft paper and copper wire were incorporated during the aging test. After thermal aging, the characteristics of the oil mixture were evaluated based on electrical, physical, and chemical characteristics. The result shows that physical and chemical characteristics are significantly influenced by the increase in mineral oil content and the temperature of thermal aging. However, the breakdown voltage increased after thermal aging, but at a higher temperature, the breakdown voltage dropped as the mineral oil content increased.

Abstract

Utilizing IoT technology in home security monitoring systems offers an effective solution to improve energy efficiency and security by allowing users to monitor and control electronic devices remotely via the Internet. The basic principles of a smart home include reliable connectivity, device interoperability, stringent security and privacy, and energy efficiency. IoT communications are supported by technologies such as RFID and Wi-Fi to ensure effective wireless data transmission. IoT facilitates connecting new devices without additional installation, using technologies such as Wi-Fi, Barcodes (QR codes), and Bluetooth for various applications. The application of IoT in home security monitoring involves platforms such as Blynk and web servers for remote control, with a focus on data protection and system security. This paper compiles various research and conference-related aspects of IoT, including privacy, educational guidelines, system characterization, innovative grid communications, bridge monitoring, RFID authentication, Wi-Fi technology, Bluetooth communications, smart home applications, and security systems. Topics covered include energy monitoring systems, smart home security, earthquake detection, IoT privacy and security, automation, edge intelligence, and Internet of Things architecture.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh experiential marketing dan delivery servicesecara simultan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada UD Qoqom Foods di Medan. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan menggunakan teknik angket atau kuesioner, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh experiential marketingsecara parsial terhadap kepuasan pelanggan UD. Qoqom Foods di Medan. Selain itu ada pengaruh delivery service secara parsial terhadap kepuasan pelanggan UD. Qoqom Foods di Medan, serta ada pengaruh experiential marketing dan delivery service secara simultan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan UD. Qoqom Foods di Medan, hal ini diketahui dari harga Fhitung = 138,485 yang dibandingkan Ftabel sebesar 3,13 maka 138,485 >3,13yang artinya variabel experiential marketingdan delivery servicesecara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang nyata (signifikan) atau berpengaruh positif dengan variabel kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh : 1) Komunikasi Kerja terhadap MinatBerwirausaha, 2) Lingkungan Kerja terhadapProduktivitas Kerja, 3) Komunikasi Kerja danLingkungan Kerja Terhadap Produktivitas KerjaKaryawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatifdengan metode korelasi, populasi dalam penelitian iniadalah Karyawan PT. Triroyal Timurraya. Tekniksampling yang digunakan adalah purposive samplingdengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 Karyawan. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisisdata yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier ganda,pengujian hipotesis, uji prasyarat analisis. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Terdapat pengaruhposisitf dan signifikan komunikasi kerja terhadapproduktivitas kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilaithitung sebesar 4,244 (p < 0,05). 2) Terdapat pengaruhpositif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja terhadapproduktivitas kerja. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilaithitung sebesar 6,708 (p < 0,05). 3) terdapat pengaruhsecara bersama-sama antara komunikasi kerja danlingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan.Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 28,914(p < 0,05). Koefisien determinasi (𝑅2) sebesar 0,504 atau54%
