Abstract

KKN-MBKM is one of the media to carry out the tridharma functions of higher education for every lecturer. One of these tridharma is by carrying out community service. The problems obtained from Karya Indah Village which became the object included the absence of professional management and the absence of training and community development on how to process blood clams into crackers which can be used as a home-based business. The approach method in the program includes demonstrations and presentations on the process of processing blood clams into crackers and how to package blood clam crackers, all of these activities are accompanied by the implementing team. The results achieved in the KKN-MBKM program are blood clam cracker products that are packaged properly in plastic packaging as well as scientific articles. Direct practice is carried out to facilitate understanding for the target community. From the results of this practice, it is hoped that the community can apply the processing of blood clams into crackers which can improve the economy of the people of Karya Indah Village, Buntulia District, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Actinomycetes penghasil antibiotik telah dieksplorasi dari berbagai sumber di lingkungan, terutama lingkungan ekstrim.Hutan bakau Torosiaje di Provinsi Gorontalo memiliki kondisi geomorfologi yang unik berupa ekosistem hutan bakau karsdengan dua tipe area yaitu tipe fringe dan overwash mangrove yang tersusun oleh jenis bakau yang bervariasi. Penelitian inidi desain untuk mendapatkan isolat Actinomycetes dari rhizosfer berbagai jenis bakau di hutan bakau Torosiaje Gorontalodan menganalisis aktifitas antibakteri melawan bakteri patogen. Sampel tanah dikoleksi dari rizosfer tujuh jenis pohon bakauyaitu Rhizophora mucronata dan Bruguiera gymnorhiza pada tipe hutan overwash, Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguieragymnorhiza pada zona middle tipe hutan Fringe, Avicenia marina, Xylocarpus sp, Ceriops tagal dan Soneratia alba padazona upper tipe hutan fringe. Pre-treatmen sampel tanah berdasarkan metode panas basah pada suhu 60oC selama 15 menit.Isolasi selektif Actinomycetes menggunakan medium Starch Casein Agar yang disuplementasi dengan cyclohexamide dannystatin. Seleksi isolat penghasil antibiotik berdasarkan metode agar blok menggunakan bakteri uji Eschericia coli,Staphylococcus aureus dan Bacillus subtillis. Aktifitas antibakteri ditandai dengan pembentukan zona hambat disekitarpertumbuhan actinomyctes. Diameter zona hambat dan diameter koloni Actinomycetes diukur untuk menentukan indekszona hambat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 167 isolat Actinomycetes yang terdistribusi pada rizosfer 7 jenis bakau. 77isolat Actinomycetes menunjukkan aktifitas antibakteri melawan bakteri patogen, terdiri dari 52 isolat melawan bakteriGram-positif (narraw spectrum) dan 25 isolat melawan bakteri Gram-positif dan Gram-negatif (broad spectrum). IsolatActinomycetes penghasil antibiotik memiliki karakter morfologi yang bervariasi yang didominasi oleh koloni berwana putihdan pigmen terdifusi berwarna kekuningan sampai coklat dan dikelompokkan kedalam 15 grup.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is the core of the independent curriculum now.The aim of this research is to develop an instrument for measuring the cognitive learning outcomes of high school students based on differentiated learning on elasticity material and to obtainits characteristics. Differentiation, in this case, is differentiation of student learning styles. The instrument grid is arranged based on indicators of cognitive learning outcomes, which are then used to compile question items. The test instrument consists of two test sets, each of which has 9 items including two anchor itemsso that the total number of items is 16 items and has been validated by 6 experts. The validated instrument was tested on 252 respondents spread across high schools in the low, medium and high categories. Dichotomous data were analyzed using the Partial Credit Model (PCM). The trial results showed that all 16 items and the differentiated learning-based student cognitive learning outcomes test instrument were proven to be valid, fit the PCM model, and reliable, which means all items were in the good category. Thus, the test instrument developed meets the requirements for measuring the cognitive learning outcomes of high school students on elasticity material based on differentiated learning.

Abstract

Vegetation is a community of plants of various species that live in a certain environmental condition and interactions occur in it. The fact of the vegetation analysis course material and has implications for students in vegetation analysis lecture activities. The development of teaching materials based on the potential of karst ecosystems can be carried out with a biodiversity literacy approach. The aims of this study to develop vegetation analysis materials supplements, by utilizing the results of vegetation analysis and their interaction with plant root microorganisms in karst ecosystems. The research mtheods used R&D method with the ADDIE model. The stages of research are analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results obtained showed that the form of supplement materials based on biodiversity literacy in the vegetation analysis course, had a validation result of 93.75% which was included in the range of 81% to 100%, in the aspect of design the supplement materials was 91.67% that indicated very good quality,with in the range 81% to 100%, the student response to the overall aspect in 94%, where this value is included in the very good category because it is in the range of 81 to 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pupuk organik cair daun Gulma Siam (Chromolaena odorata) terhadap dominansi dan kemerataan serangga pada tanaman Jagung (Zea mays). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain rancangan acak kelompok(RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan (0, 40, 60, dan 80)% dengan 6 ulangan. Indeks dominansi serangga ditentukan berdasarkan indeks dominansi Simpson dan indeks kemerataan berdasarkan indeks kemerataan Eveness. Analisis pengaruh pupuk organik cair daun Gulma Siam terhadap indeks dominansi dan kemerataan serangga menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dengan taraf signifikasi 5%, dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 13 spesies serangga yang ditemukan pada tanaman jagung yang diperlakukan dengan pupuk organik cair daun Gulma Siam dengan jumlah individu bervariasi pada tiap perlakuan. Indeks dominansi dan kemerataan serangga pada tanaman jagung adalah 0.49 dan 0.15 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang. Pemberian pupuk organik cair daun Gulma Siam (Chromolaena odorata) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap indeks dominansi dan indeks kemerataan serangga dengan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair daun Gulma Siam masing-masing adalah 60% dan 40%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas. Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Digital berbasis Project Based Learning pada materi Bioteknologi ini tergolong dalam penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan uji coba terbatas pada 25 Peserta didik kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Pulubala. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Validasi materi mendapatkan nilai 82% (Valid), validasi media mendaptkan nilai 86% (Sangat Valid) dan validasi praktisi mendapatkan nilai 93% (Sangat Valid).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development. Model penelitian ini mengacu pada model Plomp 2013 yang terdiri dari 3 fase yaitu: tahapan penelitian awal (Preliminary research), tahap perancangan (Prototyping phase), tahap Penilaian (Assesment Phase). dengan uji coba pada 30 peserta didik di kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Paguyaman. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Uji validitas Media memperoleh nilai 83% (Sangat Valid), Berdasarkan uraian seluruh nilai persentase validasi dan uji coba membuktikan bahwa ; Pengembangan Modul Digital Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Inovasi Teknologi Biologi Di SMA Negeri 1 Paguyaman yang telah dikembangkan dan memenuhi kriteria valid.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe Actinomycetes from the rhizosphere of plants in the Gorontalo karst area as Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). The research method is based on a quantitative descriptive method. Soil samples from the rhizosphere were collected using a purposive sampling technique from 8 plant species at two locations in the Gorontalo karst region, namely the Tanjung Kramat Hills. The characteristics of PGPR in this study focused on phosphate solubilization ability, Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) production, antagonism against the fungus Fusarium oxysporum, and tolerance to fungicides. Potential PGPR isolates were analyzed for phylogenetic relationships based on 16S rRNA gene sequences. The results showed that there were 6 actinomycetes isolates (RzHKC-01, RzKO-02, RzO-03, RzAK-04, RzPK-05, and RzOC-06) from 8 plant species in the Gorontalo karst region. One actinomycetes isolate, RzPK-05, showed potential as a PGPR with the ability to solubilize phosphate and produce IAA at 0.165 mg/L and 0.133 mg/L, respectively. Isolate RzPK-05 exhibited antagonistic properties against Fusarium oxysporum with an inhibition rate of 82.24% and was tolerant to fungicides such as Captive, Benlate, and Thiramo up to a concentration of 100 mg/L. Molecular analysis based on the 16S rRNA gene and phylogenetic tree reconstruction indicated that the RzPK-05 isolate is closely related to the genus Streptomyces with 100% similarity.
