Abstract

Image media is one of the effective media to use in learning because it can attract students' attention in learning. For this reason, it is necessary to apply a learning model that uses image media as its main support, including the picture and picture cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the picture and picture cooperative learning model. The method used is a literature study that collects several references from previous studies. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis. Sources of data in this study came from several main references, namely fifteen scientific papers. The results of the analysis show that the picture and picture cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes, activeness, and student learning motivation. The results of this study are an initial study in the development of electronic learning media based on the Picture and Picture Type Cooperative learning model, so that learning is meaningful for students and according to student needs.

Abstract

Many studies have discussed the HOTS problem. Theories such as Vygotsky's scaffolding concept, where someone will be able to achieve understanding with guidance from someone who understands better, as well as the concept of defragmenting, where by breaking down the structure of thinking from understanding the problem to solving the problem, someone can have their thinking ability facilitated, especially the ability to high level thinking or HOTS. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze these concepts to study scaffolding with the defragmenting method in HOTS problems. This research uses a literature study method to examine how the scaffolding approach with the method of defragmenting thinking structures can support students in understanding HOTS in mathematics. The main focus of this research is to examine: (1) The role of scaffolding in solving HOTS mathematics problems; (2) Scaffolding concept using the method of defragmenting thinking structures; and (3) Learning characteristics that apply this method. The main finding of this literature study states that mathematics anxiety is the main obstacle in students' understanding of HOTS. However, with a scaffolding and defragmenting approach, students can break down problems into smaller parts, facilitate understanding, and improve skills in HOTS. Thus, it can be concluded that the scaffolding approach using the defragmenting method has great potential to improve students' understanding of complex mathematical problems. The implications for this literature study lead to developing a learning program that uses scaffolding with the defragmenting method to facilitate HOTS.

Abstract

This literature research examines the concept of self-efficacy in technology-integrated mathematics learning and its impact on student achievement. Self-efficacy, a person's confidence in completing a task or achieving a result, is closely related to mathematical achievement, especially with the use of technology as a learning tool. Students with high self-efficacy tend to be more accomplished, motivated, and committed to technology-based learning. Strategies to increase student self-efficacy include constructive feedback via digital platforms, student-focused, technology-based learning approaches, and the application of real-life relevant tasks using simulations and technology applications. This strategy reinforces students' confidence in their math skills, motivating learning in a digital environment. The role of parents is also important, where their support and positive expectations, channelled through technology, increase students' self-efficacy. Parents' perceptions of the integration of technology in schools have a direct impact on students' self-efficacy, affirming the need for cooperation between schools, technology, and parents in mathematics education. Based on the findings, education practitioners are advised to integrate technology, provide supportive feedback, implement technology-based learning strategies, and collaborate schools with parents using digital platforms. In conclusion, a holistic approach involving self-efficacy, multi-stakeholder engagement, and technology integration is necessary for the success of mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Holistic Mathematics Education (HME) model based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, specifically designed for upper-grade elementary school students. The study adopts the Plomp development design, which consists of three main phases: (1) the Preliminary Phase, aimed at collecting empirical data to determine the characteristics of the model to be developed; (2) the Development Phase, aimed at designing and developing a valid and practical HME model based on the RME approach through a series of formative evaluations; and (3) the Assessment Phase, aimed at measuring the model's effectiveness in improving conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and students' character values. However, this research focuses solely on the design phase, producing outputs such as a model book, a teacher's guidebook, and a student's guidebook. The research instruments include validation sheets for both the instruments and the products, which were reviewed by experts to ensure their validity and reliability. This validation process ensures that the developed products have a strong theoretical foundation and are practically applicable in teaching mathematics at the upper elementary school level. The findings indicate that the developed products meet the criteria for validity and can thus be used for upper-grade elementary students. In subsequent stages, this model will be implemented with upper-grade students to assess its practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the challenges of integrating technology into mathematics learning, as well as the lack of teacher competence and student motivation in this regard. The methods used included identifying target schools, developing training materials, conducting interactive GeoGebra training, and evaluation and monitoring. The results showed that GeoGebra AR training effectively improved students' understanding and teachers' competence. Therefore, it can be concluded that this program succeeded in improving the quality of mathematics learning at SMAN 10 Sijunjung. Suggestions for the future are to conduct further research on the effectiveness of the program and expand the reach of training for teachers in other regions.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran dapat didefinisikan sebagai alat (sarana) dalam bentuk visual, audio, audiovisual yang dapat berguna untuk mendorong terjadinya proses belajar melalui kegiatan menangkap, memproses, dan menyusun kembali informasi (pesan) yang disampaikan oleh guru. Pembelajaran  matematika  merupakan  proses  interaksi  antara  guru  dengan  peserta didik  yang  melibatkan  pola  pikir  peserta  didik  dalam  memahami  konsep  matematika yang   abstrak. Penerapan media pembelajaran inovatif di Sekolah Dasar (SD) sangat beragam, mulai dari media manipulatif seperti puzzle, alat peraga, kartu angka, hingga media digital seperti video animasi, aplikasi interaktif, dan permainan edukatif berbasis teknologi. Media digital seperti Word Wall dan Macromedia Flash terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan semangat dan partisipasi siswa selama pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merefleksikan pengalaman guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Pembelajaran dirancang untuk mendorong pemahaman konsep yang mendalam melalui penggunaan video, media konkret untuk membuktikan rumus, serta kuis interaktif berbasis permainan. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih antusias, aktif, dan memahami materi secara lebih menyeluruh. Penerapan pembelajaran bermakna dan menyenangkan ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses dan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode reflektif, di mana guru merefleksikan praktik pembelajarannya secara sistematis. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi inspirasi bagi guru lain untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual, interaktif, dan bermakna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kontribusi Rahmah El Yunusiyah sebagai tokoh perempuan Minangkabau dalam dakwah Islam, khususnya melalui bidang pendidikan dan pemberdayaan perempuan di Sumatera Barat. Dalam sejarah Islam Indonesia, kontribusi perempuan seringkali terabaikan, padahal peran tokoh seperti Rahmah El Yunusiyah sangat signifikan. Lahir dalam lingkungan religius dan budaya Minangkabau yang kuat, ia mendirikan Diniyah Putri Padang Panjang, lembaga pendidikan pertama yang dikhususkan bagi perempuan Muslim di Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan pendidikan berbasis ilmu agama dan pengetahuan umum, ia mendorong keterlibatan aktif perempuan dalam kehidupan sosial dan dakwah Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur ilmiah dan historis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rahmah El Yunusiyah tidak hanya berperan sebagai pendidik, tetapi juga sebagai pelopor pembaruan pendidikan Islam dan aktivis organisasi perempuan yang berjaringan hingga ke tingkat internasional. Warisan intelektual dan spiritualnya terus menginspirasi perjuangan perempuan dalam dunia pendidikan dan dakwah hingga masa kini.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Ladang Padi Surian melalui pengolahan hasil pertanian, khususnya bawang merah, menjadi produk bernilai tambah yaitu bawang merah goreng. Bawang merah mentah sering kali mengalami fluktuasi harga yang signifikan, yang berdampak negatif pada pendapatan petani. Oleh karena itu, pengolahan bawang merah menjadi bawang goreng diharapkan dapat mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap harga pasar bawang mentah dan memberikan stabilitas pendapatan. Dalam pengabdian ini, selain memberikan pelatihan teknis pengolahan bawang merah, masyarakat juga diberikan pemahaman dan pendampingan tentang pengolahan bawang merah menjadi bawang goreng, sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai jual. Pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan platform e-commerce diterapkan untuk memperluas jangkauan penjualan produk, sehingga meningkatkan daya saing di pasar yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan produksi masyarakat, tetapi juga memperkuat kemampuan pemasaran mereka dalam era digital. Namun, pada artikel ini hanya akan dibahas sampai tahapan pemasaran melalui whatshap, Fb, dan Ig. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, khususnya KTHB Ladang Padi Surian, 2) Produk bawang merah goreng, berhasil dipasarkan di berbagai daerah seperti Solok, Batusangkar, Padang, dan Pekan Baru, 3) Memberikan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa yang dijadikan rekognisi mahasiswa yang dapat menjadi bagian MBKM, 4) Masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai buruh tani memperoleh pekerjaan yang layak sebagai karyawan tetap dalam pembuatan bawang goreng.

Abstract

Ladang Padi Surian memiliki potensi ekonomi melalui pengolahan bawang merah menjadi bawang goreng, namun pengembangan usaha terkendala strategi pemasaran tradisional yang terbatas. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku usaha mikro dalam pemasaran digital melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan, mencakup penggunaan media sosial dan platform e-commerce seperti Shopee. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mitra terhadap pemasaran digital, yang berdampak pada perluasan jangkauan pasar dan potensi peningkatan penjualan. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Program ini diharapkan mampu berkontribusi pada peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat Ladang Padi Surian dan wilayah Sumatera Barat secara luas.
