Abstract

The globalization of communications and technology has opened up new opportunities and challenges for the tourism industry in Indonesia. Sendang Kun Gerit is a natural water bathing tourist spot in Sragen Regency which is managed by BUMDES Sumber Rejeki. This tourist attraction achieved significant success with the number of visitors reaching 18 thousand in April 2023. The aim of this research is to describe how marketing communications for the Sendang Kun Gerit tourist attraction can increase the number of visitors. Data was obtained through interviews with the head of management, the publication and marketing section of the Sendang Kun Gerit tourist attraction, and visitors. Apart from that, data is also obtained through observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the use of social media and official websites has an impact on increasing understanding, involvement and persuasion power for potential tourists. Abstract

The approval of the Creation of Work Act, which was implemented on March 21, 2023 by the DPR RI, has reaped many pro-contracts in the middle of society. This issue is not out of the media highlight. Including Mediaindonesia.com and Tvonenews.com who also massively report the issue. The ownership of the two media is under the auspices of government figures. As well as the framing differences presented by the two media, the reason for the researchers to choose both media as the object of research. In this research, use qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through documentation. Then analyzed using the framing theory of Zhongdang Pan & Gerlad M. Kosicki with his four instruments: syntax, script, thematic, and rhetoric. The results of this research show that Mediaindonesia.com frames the issue of the validation of the Creation of Work Act is the right thing, with all it’s usefulness. While Tvonenews.com frames the issue of the validation of the Labour Creation Act is a bad thing and opposed by the workers and society. Abstract

Abstract The development of information technology in the music industry has changed the face of the industry as a whole. Digital disruption has forced music industry players to adapt. starting from the process of production, distribution and consumption. The process of consumtion music changes, starting from analog or physical form, to digital form or digital audio streaming platforms. Lokananta, as a state-owned music recording company, has adapted to this challenge. This study examines the media management analysis of Perum PNRI Lokananta in the era of digital disruption. Media management of Lokananta's recorded music in response to the digital disruption era has been implemented,, although the results have not been optimal. The approach used in this research is qualitative with case study method. This study uses two data sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews with informants and secondary data collection was carried out by reviewing literature.Keywords: Music Recording, Digital Disruption, Media  Management.Abstraksi Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam industri musik merubah wajah industri secara keseluruhan. Disrupsi digital memaksa pelaku industri musik beradaptasi. mulai dari proses produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi. Proses menikmati musik berubah, mulai dari analog, menikmati dalam bentuk fisik, dalam bentuk digital atau platform digital audio streaming. Lokananta, sebagai perusahaan musik rekaman milik negara beradaptasi menjawab tantangan tersebut. Penelitian ini mengkaji analisis manajemen media Perum PNRI Lokananta dalam era disrupsi digital seperti saat ini. Manajemen media musik rekaman yang dilakukan Perum PNRI Lokananta dalam merespon era disrupsi digital sudah dilakukan, walaupun hasilnya belum maksimal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua sumber data, yaitu sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber dan pengambilan data sekunder dilakukan dengan mengkaji studi pustaka.Kata Kunci: Musik Rekaman, Disrupsi Digital, Manajemen Media.

Abstract

In the tourism industry, integrated marketing communications via Instagram plays an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This communication includes word of mouth information using electronic media (e-WOM) and other factors, such as destination image. This research was prepared and researched to see and find out whether Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) on Instagram social media and destination image influence tourists' purchasing choices at Kemuning Sky Hills. The preparation of this scientific work was carried out using multiple linear regression model analysis using explanatory methods and using a quantitative approach. The object of this research is the Kemuning Sky Hills tourist attraction with visitors to the Kemuning Sky Hills tourist attraction who use Instagram social media as research subjects. The testing method used in this study is non-probability sampling, namely the Accidental Sampling type of testing. Important information was collected by distributing surveys to 96 respondents. From the final results of the research, a statement was obtained where E-WOM and destination image influenced purchasing choices with a significance result of 0.000 (p<0.05). Meanwhile, the t-count of e-WOM on purchasing decisions is 4.772 and the p-value is 0.000 (p<0.05). On the other hand, a t-value of 6.492 was obtained from the destination image variable and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The F-count for the simultaneous test in this study was 56.275 and the p-value was 0.000 (p<0.05). Therefore, the speculations H1, H2, and H3 can be accepted and acknowledged, namely that e-WOM and destination image have an impact or influence of 53.8% on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research discusses Radio Metta Solo Fm's Broadcasting Strategy in Retaining Millennial Generation Listeners on the Club 90's Program. This type of research is descriptive qualitative and analyzed using the theory of Programming Strategy by Susan Tyler Eastman. Data sources consist of primary data, namely interviews and observations, and secondary data, namely documentation. The results showed that (1) The compatibilty strategy is by determining the broadcast schedule with the daily activities carried out by the community. (2) Habit formation strategy by scheduling broadcast programs and having a special announcer so that listeners get used to the announcer's broadcast style. (3) Audience flow control strategies by presenting listener favorite songs and fulfilling listener requests, as well as conducting monitoring and evaluation. (4) The strategy of conserving program resources by saving and reusing a program that once existed but with a different format. (5) Breadth of appeal strategy by holding interviews with 90s artists and holding quizzes for listeners. Keywords: broadcasting strategy, radio, club 90's

Abstract

The function of the media is to influence. One example is how the media is used as a tool to conduct political campaigns with the aim of providing impression management. As in the azan broadcast featuring presidential candidate Ganjar, election observers argue that this is identity politicization. A journalist is inseparable from their perspective in analyzing the data they get in the field. With the different perspectives of journalists in observing facts, the term framing emerged. iNews.id and Metrotvnews.com have different views on the appearance of Ganjar in the azan broadcast on private TV. The purpose of this research is to find out how iNews.id and Metrotvnews.com media framed the case of Ganjar's appearance on the azan broadcast. Using Zhondang Pan and Kosicki's framing analysis theory to determine the reality created by revealing script, syntax, thematic, and rhetorical elements. The results showed that iNews.id and Metrotvnews.com carried out media framing by selecting headlines, sources, source quotes and image placement which were used as tools to frame the news of the two media. by selecting headlines, sources, source quotes and image placement which were used as tools to frame the news of the two media. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that iNews.id media made a pro framing of Ganjar while Metrotvnews.com media framed Ganjar with disapproval/contra.

Abstract

Abdi dalem is a person who devotes himself to the Keraton. There are two groups of AbdiDalem in the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat, namely Abdi Dalem anon-anonKeraton and Abdi Dalem Garap Keraton. The purpose of this research is to determineAbdi Dalem's efforts in preserving Javanese cultural values in interpersonalcommunication at the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. This study usedqualitative research methods. This type of research is descriptive qualitative.Determining the informants in this research used purposive sampling and the informantsin this research were Abdi Dalem Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat, culturalfigures and the community. The location of this research is at the Keraton KasunananSurakarta Hadiningrat. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation.Data validity uses triangulation techniques. Using Miles and Huberman's (2014)interactive data analysis model. The results of the research show that Abdi DalemKeraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat is a cultural preserver who has a positiveinfluence on society. This influence can be accepted by society as an example inunderstanding culture. The role of Abdi Dalem is nguri-uri or preserving Javanesecultural values with sincerity regarding the culture of the Keraton Kasunanan SurakartaHadiningrat. Abstract

One of the effective and interesting forms of communication is Visual Communication Design. Visual Communication Design is a discipline that is closely related to the concept of communication. This research aims to describe how the use of visual themes in Instagram feeds can increase follower engagement. This case study was conducted on the Instagram account of gteam.agency, a social media agency that uses a consistent and attractive visual theme. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Uses & Gratification theory. The results show that the use of good and consistent visual themes plays an important role in increasing engagement and success on social media platforms such as Instagram. An attractive visual theme can attract followers' attention, increase brand awareness, and encourage interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the group communication patterns of femalesantri in dealing with internal problems at the Bahrul Amiq Ngawi Islamic Boarding School.This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collectedthrough field observations and in-depth interviews with female santri. The results showed thatthe communication patterns applied include downward communication, upwardcommunication, horizontal communication, and informal communication. Downwardcommunication plays a role in conveying instructions and goals from administrators to santri,while upward communication allows santri to provide feedback and suggestions toadministrators. Horizontal communication is used for coordination between fellow students,supporting effective cooperation, and strengthening relationships between them. In addition,informal communication proves to be an important tool in strengthening emotional bonds andaccelerating information dissemination. Despite obstacles such as differences in backgroundand age, the right communication approach succeeds in minimizing conflicts and increasingharmony and discipline in the pesantren environment. In conclusion, the application of diverseand adaptive communication patterns in Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Amiq Ngawi not onlysupports the handling of internal problems, but also contributes to the holistic characterbuilding and spiritual development of santri.Keywords: Communication patterns, Internal problems, Deliberation, Female santri,Boarding school

Abstract

This research aims to find out the problem solving related to the problems experienced by Wibi Febrian photographer in conducting an interpersonal communication activity in maintaining customer interest. This research is descriptive with qualitative analysis. Data collection techniques are done by interviewing informants from both Wibi Febrian and his service users. The results showed that interpersonal communication used by Wibi Febrian in maintaining its customers by applying 2 types of communication, namelyverbal and non-verbal communication between Wibi Febrian to its customers. Thereverse assessment was felt from the service users, because Wibi Febrian did not apply the 5 positive attitudes, namely in the form of not doing respect, empathy, audible, clarity and humble towards his customers.
