Abstract

Analysis of the Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) in the  PT. Berca Buana Sakti  (Case Study Construction Project of 150 kV. Kolaka - Pomala Switching – Customer) The implementation and supervision of SMK3 referring to the PT. Berca Buana Sakti applicable legal system needs to be carried out as well as possible to provide safety assurance for workers and provide maximum benefits for construction actors and the environment so that the risk of accidents and work safety can be overcome, avoided, or minimized. Overall, efforts to improve the implementation of SMK3 in this project are not only focused on procedural aspects, but also on strengthening the safety culture at all levels of the organization, from top management to field workers. All of these improvement actions aim to create a safer, healthier, and more efficient work environment, as well as to minimize the risk of work accidents and occupational diseases that can occur during the 150 kV SUTT Construction Project.  Knowing and describing the analysis of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in the 150 kV SUTT Construction Project implemented by the company. To find out and describe the factors that cause the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in the 150 kV SUTT Construction Project to be unfulfilled. To find out and describe the corrective actions/improvements in an effort to fulfill the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in the 150 kV SUTT Construction Project. Theoretically, this research can deepen the understanding of the implementation of SMK3 in construction projects, especially those with high risks such as the construction of High Voltage Air Lines (SUTT) both ongoing and future. A checklist of SMK3 implementation has been implemented based on 166 audit criteria according to PP No. 50 of 2012, with a fulfillment rate of 98.80% (164 criteria fulfilled and 2 criteria not fulfilled). Several criteria in the implementation of SMK3 have not been fully fulfilled, which hinders the optimization of K3 implementation. Several strategic steps have been formulated to improve the implementation of SMK3 more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the management strategies applied by the Regional Health Laboratory UPT of Nunukan Regency in the planning, implementation, and management of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). In addition, this study seeks to identify and analyze the main obstacles encountered in EMR implementation from a strategic management perspective, as well as to describe the strategies used by management to manage or overcome these obstacles, which are then formulated into strategic recommendations for optimizing EMR implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. This approach was chosen to obtain an in-depth understanding of management strategies and the obstacles faced in EMR implementation at the Regional Health Laboratory UPT of Nunukan Regency, while considering the unique geographical context and resource limitations in the region. The results show that the Regional Health Laboratory UPT of Nunukan Regency applies adaptive, participatory, and contextual management strategies to address various challenges. The main constraints include limited technological infrastructure (unstable networks, outdated equipment), human resources issues (variability in competencies, resistance to change, lack of training/support), as well as unique geographical and regional resource challenges. Proactive management strategies such as budget advocacy, intensive coordination with the Health Office, personalized approaches to staff, utilization of “technology champions,” and strategic partnerships have successfully mitigated these obstacles, enabling EMR implementation to proceed despite challenging conditions.

Abstract

This study is crucial for identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors of the bank's strategy in facing local competition. The research method employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques applied the concept of the Marketing Mix (7P) and SWOT Analysis, along with calculations of the IFAS, EFAS, and IE Matrix to determine the strategic position. The results place Bank Mandiri Barru Branch in the Grow and Build position (Cell II), characterized by a high external response but average internal conditions. The implementation of the Marketing Mix 7P was assessed as effective in product and technology aspects, yet constrained by human resource limitations. Recommended strategies include aggressive market penetration, expansion of the Laku Pandai agent network, and optimization of digital services to increase customer outreach

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged public institutions to reform bureaucratic work systems in order to improve effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. The South Sulawesi Provincial Education Office has implemented a Smart Office system as a digital administrative platform to support the improvement of public service quality. However, the implementation of digital systems does not always run optimally, as it is influenced by organizational readiness, human resource capacity, and the availability of supporting technological infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the strategy for implementing Smart Office and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the effectiveness of public services. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through open-ended interviews conducted via Google Forms and document analysis. A total of 22 informants were involved, including senior officials, structural officers, administrative staff, system operators, school principals, teachers, and education service users. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis based on 40 response variables and supported by policy documents related to Smart Office and the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The findings indicate that Smart Office implementation contributes to faster administrative processes, improved document traceability, and increased transparency and accountability. Nevertheless, challenges remain in terms of technological infrastructure limitations, digital literacy gaps among employees, and the lack of systematic training and evaluation. Therefore, a sustainable and well-coordinated implementation strategy is required to ensure that digital transformation delivers tangible improvements in public service quality within the education sector.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze (1) the effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Transportation Office of Penajam Paser Utara Regency, (2) the effect of the work environment on employee performance at the Transportation Office of Penajam Paser Utara Regency, and (3) the simultaneous effect of work discipline and work environment on employee performance at the same institution. The research employed a quantitative correlational approach, with data collected through questionnaires. The results show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on improving employee performance. Compliance with rules, punctuality, and a high level of responsibility form the foundation of work behavior that directly contributes to the achievement of optimal work outcomes. The work environment also has a positive and significant effect on performance. Non-physical aspects, particularly supervisor support and harmonious working relationships, are the main driving forces, while improvements in the physical environment are still necessary to support productivity more evenly. Work discipline and the work environment together exert a very strong and dominant influence on employee performance. These two variables create a synergistic effect, where work discipline builds behavioral structure and consistency, while a supportive work environment provides motivational and relational context that strengthens and optimizes the contribution of discipline toward performance achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of price, atmosphere, and service quality on customer loyalty at SS Coffee Space in Makassar. A quantitative research design was employed, using a survey to collect primary data. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on the criteria of having visited the establishment more than twice. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling to test the research hypotheses. The results revealed that price, atmosphere, and service quality each had a significant positive impact on customer loyalty. Among the factors examined, service quality was identified as the most dominant driver of consumer commitment. The model demonstrated substantial explanatory power, suggesting that the combination of fair pricing, an aesthetic environment, and excellent service effectively explained the variance in loyalty. These findings indicate that while price and environment are vital, service excellence is the primary factor for customer retention. Management should prioritize continuous service enhancement to maintain a competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of financial performance, proxied by Return on Investment, Return on Assets, and Return on Equity, on company value, as well as to examine the role of Corporate Social Responsibility as a moderating variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2022. This study uses a quantitative approach with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of mining companies, accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the companies' official websites. The data collection technique uses the documentation method with purposive sampling to select samples based on criteria relevant to the research objectives. The results show that Return on Investment, Return on Assets, and Return on Equity have a positive and significant effect on company value. In addition, Corporate Social Responsibility was found to weaken the effect of Return on Investment on company value but to strengthen the effects of Return on Assets and Return on Equity on company value. This study provides practical contributions for companies to pay attention to the balance between financial performance and Corporate Social Responsibility implementation. The resulting managerial implications indicate that companies need to optimize financial performance and improve the quality of their CSR disclosures to maintain and increase their value in investors' eyes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan dalam Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS), serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaannya dalam meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, pustakawan, peserta didik, dan pihak terkait lainnya yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan GLS. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi, dengan uji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen dalam program GLS di SDN 007 Penajam telah berjalan cukup baik, terutama pada aspek perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Sekolah telah melaksanakan kegiatan literasi secara terstruktur, seperti membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran, pengelolaan pojok baca, dan pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Namun, pada aspek pengorganisasian dan pengawasan masih ditemukan kendala, antara lain keterbatasan variasi bahan bacaan, pembagian peran tim literasi yang belum optimal, serta monitoring dan evaluasi program yang belum berkelanjutan.
