Abstract

IMPROVING ENTREPRENEURSHIP SPIRIT THROUGH THE UTILIZATION OF DIGITAL MARKETING IN RATU LUWAK COFFEE PRODUCTION, LIWA WEST LAMPUNG. The study of entrepreneurial development is currently being discussed in various forums around the world because it is related to efforts to build the economy on a regional and national scale. The world is faced with a very big problem, namely the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic which of course has an impact on many things, this issue is also relevant to the current objective conditions in Indonesia as one of the countries affected, especially on the economic aspect. Indonesia, which is dominated by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) needs to pay special attention to this sector because the contribution of UMKM to the national economy is quite large. This community service activity aims to explore the entrepreneurial spirit and also increase sales through the use of digital marketing, namely by providing an understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship, marketing strategies, and attractive product packaging to direct practice of making online stores as well as using the web and social media to increase sales. By utilizing this digital marketing strategy, local UMKM is expected to be able to reach a wider market and of course, the managed business can also be recognized so that it can inspire many people in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The purpose to be reached in conducting this study is to share information about the use of flash card as instructional media to enrich the students’ vocabulary mastery in learning English. It is true to say that there are lots of instructional media available in such a way that they can be used as the assistance for the teachers to deliver the materials as well as for the students to understand the materials. Accoding to certain research findings done by the students of English department of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, it is recommended that the teachers should apply various media to improve the quality of teaching and learning English in the classroom, such as role play, flash card, and picture series. However, the are many students from elementary school up to university level still get difficulties when they learn English. The students cannot listen carefully and get misunderstanding, they also hesitate to speak English, they do not understand the difficult words when they read English passage, and they cannot write good sentences and/or paragraphs in English as well. From those points above, it is clear that the use of flash card can be expected to be the solution to solve the problems occurred in attempts to increase the vocabulary mastery for the students when learning English. Besides, the use of flash card can also make the vocabulary learning become enjoyable and interesting. Flash card can be an excellent media to be used because there are many students interested in flash card. In flash card they can stimulate their imagination to develop their ideas and they can learn and find new vocabulary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh menulis bahasa Inggris menggunakan media Cue Card pada siswa kelas X di SMK As-Shof Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Makalah penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi metode pengumpulan data yang melibatkan pre-test, treatment dan post-test. Data diperoleh dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen pada penelitian ini adalah X.A dan kelas kontrol adalah X.B. Tiap kelas berjumlah 20 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 40 siswa. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada pre-test sebesar 61,45 sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol pada pre-test sebesar 59,20. Sedangkan hasil post-test nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,80, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 67,50. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji hipotesis adalah 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media kartu isyarat terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif siswa di kelas sepuluh SMK As-Shof Pandeglang.

Abstract

Abstrak. Era digital menjadi konteks pendidikan digital, di mana perangkat teknologi digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Kurikulum sebagai penentu keberhasilan pendidikan harus tanggap terhadap segala tantangan dan inovasi kontemporer. Kurikulum Merdeka saat ini sedang dilaksanakan setelah beberapa kali terjadi perubahan kurikulum di Indonesia. Pemerintah Indonesia telah menyesuaikan kurikulum semaksimal mungkin untuk memenuhi tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan di era digital ini. Tujuan dari artikel penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan kurikulum 2013 dengan kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk tingkat menengah atas (SMA) berdasarkan kerangka dasar, kompetensi yang ditargetkan, struktur kurikulum, pembelajaran, penilaian, perangkat pengajaran, dan perangkat kurikulum. Analisis isi merupakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif yang digunakana pada penelitian ini. Dari segi kerangka dasar, kompetensi yang ditargetkan, struktur kurikulum, pembelajaran, penilaian, perangkat pengajaran, dan perangkat kurikulum, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum Merdeka memiliki persamaan dan perbedaan. Abstract. The digital era has become the context of digital education, where technological devices are used to facilitate learning. The curriculum as a determinant of educational success must be responsive to all contemporary challenges and innovations. The Merdeka curriculum is currently being implemented after several curriculum changes in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has adjusted the curriculum as much as possible to meet the educational goals expected in this digital era. The objective of this article is to compare the 2013 curriculum with the Merdeka curriculum in English language learning for upper secondary level (SMA) based on the basic framework, targeted competencies, curriculum structure, learning, assessment, teaching tools, and curriculum tools. Content analysis is a qualitative research methodology used in this study. In terms of the basic framework, targeted competencies, curriculum structure, learning, assessment, teaching tools, and curriculum tools, this research reveals that the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum have similarities and differences.

Abstract

This study intended to find out teachers’ and students’ problems, needs, and wants in developing an English ebook based on the Merdeka curriculum for Indonesian Senior High School. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) method with the ADDIE model. It has five stages: analyzing the needs, designing the material and media, developing the product, implementing the product, and evaluating the product. The study focuses on the need analysis stage. The subjects used in the study are tenth-grade of Senior High School teachers in Pandeglang, Banten that applied the Merdeka curriculum. The data collecting technique in the study were interviews and document analysis. The instruments used are an interview guide and an analysis sheet. The data were analyzed and described qualitatively. The finding showed that the current English coursebook does not reflect the Merdeka curriculum. The teachers and the students need an English ebook which simple and suitable for learning English. Therefore, the findings serve as the foundation to develop an English ebook based on the Merdeka curriculum for Indonesian Senior High School students.

Abstract

The digital era is a digital education environment where technical resources support teaching and learning. To determine educational performance, the curriculum must be adaptive to all contemporary concerns and changes. Following several curriculum reforms, the Merdeka Curriculum is currently being implemented in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has fully changed the curriculum possible to complete the educational goals anticipated in this digital era. This study compares the 2013 curriculum to the Merdeka curriculum for learning English at the senior high school level in terms of the basic framework, targeted competencies, curriculum structure, learning, assessment, teaching materials, and curriculum tools. The research design used in this study is a qualitative approach with content analysis. Based on the basic framework, targeted competencies, curriculum structure, learning process, assessment, teaching resources, and curriculum tool, this study shows similarities and differences between the 2013 and Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

This research paper aims to investigate a significant effect of Hangman game towards Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at the Eighth Grade of SMP Berdikari Cijaku Lebak-Banten in Academic Year 2022/2023. The research paper used the quantitative research. This research was conducted from August-September, and the researcher has chosen two classes are a control class and an experimental class. The technique in choosing the sample is purposive sampling; the researcher used VIII A (27 students) as class experimental and VIII B (27 students) as class control. The experimental group was taught used hangman game, where as the control group was taught used Bingo game. In the Collecting data technique, the researcher gives pre-test and post-test. The score pre-test of control group are 1.498, the score pre-test of experimental class are 1.688. Then, the score post-test of control group are 1.520, the score post-test of experimental group are 1.702. In analyzing the data, the researcher used SPSS  statistical computation and used the result of the post-test both class control and experimental to analyze the hypotheses test. The researcher has found the result of Significant two-tailed = 0.000 < α 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the usage of hangman game has a significant impact on students’ vocabulary mastery in SMP Berdikari Cijaku, Lebak Banten.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate a significant Effect of Riddle Game Toward Student's Vocabulary Mastery at the Eighth Grade of SMPN 1 Cihara Lebak Banten in Academic Year 2023/2024. The research used the quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. This research used two classes, they are control class and experimental class. The technique in choosing the sample is cluster random sampling, the researcher used VIII A (34 students) as experimental class and VIII B (33 students) as control class. The experimental group was taught by Riddle Game, while the control group was taught by Crassword Puzzle Game. In the technique Collecting of the data, the researcher gives pre-test and post-test. The score pre-test of control group are 2274, the score pre-test of experimental class are 2324. Then, the score post-test of control group are 2552, the score post-test of experimental group are 2842. In analyzing the data, the researcher used SPSS 25 statistical computation and used the result of the post-test both control class and experimental class to analyze the hypotheses test. The finding showed that the result of Significant two-tailed = 0.000 Therefore, the researcher concluded that the usage of Riddle Game has a significant impact on students vocabulary mastery in SMPN 1 Cihara Lebak Banten.

Abstract

This This study aimed to investigate The Effect of Board Race Game Towards Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at the Eighth Grade Students of MTs Nurul Hidayah Malingping Lebak Banten in Academic Year 2023/2024. The research uses quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. This study used two classes, they are control class and the experimental class. The technique used for collecting sampling is purpose sampling; the researcher uses class VIII A (20 students) as the control class and class VIII B (20 students) as the experimental class. The experimental class was given treatment board race game, while the control group was given treatment guessing game. In data collection technique, the researcher performs pre-test and post-test. The control group's pre-test score was 1044, while the experimental group's pre-test score was 1184. The control group's post-test score was 1250, while the experimental group's post-test score was 1387. During the process to analyze the data, the researcher used the SPSS 25 statistical calculation method and used the post-test results of both the control and experimental classes to analyze and test the hypothesis. The researcher finds the results Two-sided significance = 0.000 < α 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concludes that board race use has a significant impact on students' vocabulary mastery in MTs Nurul Hidayah Malingping Lebak Banten.
