Abstract

Until now, most authors in the field of health still publish research articles, even though there are still many types of non-research articles that can be published in scientific journals. In this case it is necessary to understand that in addition to the results of research, the results of critical and innovative thinking are very important to be known by the scientific community. Thus, the authors are expected to learn more about the procedures for writing non-research articles, including examining the specific writing methods that have been determined by each journal. Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a problem for the world. The causes of stunting are very broad, in the sense that it involves very many factors. Stunting in children under five is one of the main health problems with several characteristics, namely: 1) occurring in a wide scope; 2) involves very diverse determinants; 3) is chronic. Thus, based on logic, the approach used to prevent stunting in children under five must also be relevant to these characteristics. In relation to the first and second characteristics, currently stunting prevention efforts in all regions and levels have been carried out intensively, as well as efforts carried out across programs and across sectors. Evidence-based stunting prevention efforts have also been implemented involving educational institutions and research and development institutions. Evidence based practice in stunting prevention has become a must, so that the efforts made have the right direction, so that they can achieve the expected goals. Abstract

Primary school-age children are an investment nation. The quality of the nation in the future is determined the quality of children today. Efforts to improve human resources must be done early, systematically and sustainably. The growth of primary school-age children is optimal depending on the intake of nutrients with good quality and quantity (Republika, 2010). The School Child Enhancement Program (PMT-AS) has a broad impact not only on the aspects of health, nutrition and education today but also directly affecting the quality of human resources in the future. The purpose of this study was to examine influence of additional School Feeding to the nutritional status, anaemia status, and learning achievement at Denpasar Municipality. This research is an quasi experimental research with One Group Pre-test design-Post-test Design. The research was conducted in two schools, SDN 12 Kesiman and SDN 8 Sanur, Denpasar City, in May-September 2016. The population in this study were all students who got PMT-AS in SD 12 Kesiman Kertalangu and SD 8 Sanur in Denpasar City. The sample size is determined based on the quota of each elementary school, 50 students who meet the inclusion criteria. Sample selection by simple random sampling. Independent variables studied are the number, type and frequency of PMT-AS delivery, the process of accompaniment is done while the dependent variable is Nutritional Status, hemoglobin level and learning achievement.Analysis of nutritional content of food PMT-AS distributed in schools obtained average calori value 161.62 (53.87% of 300 calories) and protein 4.11 (82.18% of 5 grams). The students nutritional status based on body mass index by age obtained : 33.5% overweight, 4.4% obese and 33.3% normal. The results of measurement of hemoglobin level of students before and after the PMT-AS program obtained prevalence of anemia before counseling 15% and after counseling 11%. Although there was a decrease in the prevalence rate of anemia but the decrease was not statistically significant. Judging from the learning achievement in the final semester based on report card, the minimum score of 60.9 and the maximum score of 91.5 with the average score 77.5+7.66

Abstract

Iron deficiency anemia is a nutritional problem that affects more than 600 million people. Estimates of global anemia prevalence are around 51%. WHO data from 1993 to 2005 shows approximately 24.8% or 1.62 billion of the world's population suffer from anemia and 25.4% of them are school-age children. Whereas in Southeast Asia school-age children suffer from anemia by 13.6%. The impact of anemia on young women is that the body during the growth period is easily infected, resulting in reduced fitness / freshness, decreased learning / achievement spirit. This community service aims to provide education on prevention of nutritional anemia in young women through increased knowledge and behavior of consumption of foods high in iron and consumption of iron tablets. Community service was carried out at Kertayasa Vocational School and Werdi Sila Kumara Vocational School from June to July 2018. The sample of this community service was 100 young women, each of 50 people from the Kertayasa Vocational School and 50 WerdiSila Kumara Vocational High School students. The pretest results in the knowledge of anemia showed an average of 88.80 (+8.64) correctly and after educating the post test results showed an increase to an average of 88.50 (+10.11) which was correct. The increase showed very different results (p 0.05).Most samples (61.00%) used to consume Fe tablets between 2-8 tablets per month. Because program giving iron tablets are integrated in schools, most of the samples (86.9%) stated they got iron tablets at school. In an effort to increase the coverage of iron tablet consumption in adolescent girls, it is recommended that regular administration of Fe tablets through schools. Keywords: Nutrition Education, Young Women, Iron supplementation consumption.

Abstract

The opportunity to use the internet as a health promotion strategy is expected to improve the degree of public health. This technology is able to facilitate the delivery of information more closely, reaching healthy but irregular individuals in contact with health services. The purpose of this community service activity is to find out changes in knowledge about healthy living behaviors and participation in the use of online health promotion media "behavior livesehat.org". The target in this community service activity is students at the Sila Chandra Batubulan Tourism Vocational School, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. These community service activities are carried out using direct and indirect socialization methods. Evaluation of the process is done by conducting interviews with community service goals, monitoring the level of attendance of community service participants and activeness. In this socialization activity students listened intently to the material presented. The results of the pre-test target show the lowest value of 20 and the highest value of 80 with an average of 52.14 + 15.71. While the post-test results show the lowest value of 50 and the highest of 100 with an average of 70.71 + 10.51. Abstract

This program focuses on health education activities by little doctors using applicative extension media in terms of applying food diversity, selecting healthy snacks and eating breakfast. The purpose of this community service activity is to conduct training and measure changes in the knowledge of small doctors before and after the training on the use of flipchart nutrition counseling media by little doctors in the UKS program. The targets in this activity are Little Doctors in SD N 1, SDN 2 and SDN 3 Batubulan Kangin. Community service activities were carried out in July 2019 which included pre-test, training, post-test, counseling with a flip sheet by a small doctor to target elementary school children in their neighborhood. The number of targets in the three elementary schools is 57 people. Descriptively the age of the small doctor ranged from 9 years to 12 years, with an average age of 10.33 years and a standard deviation of 0.76 years. The knowledge pre-test results show the lowest value of 45 and the highest value of 95 with an average of 72.45 and a standard deviation of 12.50. In counseling training activities using flipchart media on little doctors in SD N 1, 2 and 3 Batubulan miss it can be observed that the small doctors are very enthusiastic to follow and try. This is because the flipchart is something new and is easily applied by them. The results of the post-test knowledge showed an increase compared to the pre-test data. The lowest value is 50 and the highest value is 100 with an average of 76.05 and a standard deviation of 11.79. There was a significant increase in knowledge based on paired t test results (p 0.05). Based on a review of the results of community service activities, it can be suggested that counseling activities carried out by small doctors are more often done. This adds to the knowledge and insight of elementary school children about healthy, nutritious and balanced food. Counseling is done more easily by using flipchat Keywords: Nutrition education, Litle doctors, Flipchart, School Health Program

Abstract

Idealnya action research dilaksanakan sendiri oleh para pelaksana pogram kesehatan secara on the job. Abstract

Most of the results of correlation analysis between variables are not equipped with visualization, so it is deemed necessary to explain how best to visualize the results of correlation analysis, especially for numerical variables. In this case, the best way to present correlations between numerical variables is a scatter diagram. If the points on the diagram are closer to the straight line, the higher the correlation coefficient, meaning that the degree of correlation is getting stronger. In this case, the positive correlation is indicated by the line from the lower left to the upper right. This visualization helps clarify the reader's understanding of the results of the correlation analysis, as well as being a valuable lesson for their similar research projects.
