Abstract

Hospitalization is a plan that requires children to stay in the hospital to undergo therapy and treatment. During this process children can experience traumatic and stressful. Most children who experience hospitalization show uncooperative behavior towards health workers shown by crying reactions. playing games will release children from the tension and stress they experience because by playing games, children will be able to divert their pain to the game. The type of research is Quasi Experimental, with a research design of One Group pre test and post test design. Sample 58 people. Structured mini-modules were given to every mother whose child was treated at Rupit Hospital. Questionnaires were given to respondents to assess the level of knowledge. Data analysis using Paired T-test parametric test. The average knowledge of respondents before being given a mini module is 54.7 and after being given a mini module to 71.21, with p < α = 0.05 with knowledge (p = 0.000). From these results it is concluded that there is an effect of giving mini modules about play therapy during hospitalization on knowledge. It is expected that the Rupit Hospital can provide a special room for play and play programs for children.

Abstract

Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) for the 2015-2020 period, it shows that around 1.13 billion individuals worldwide have hypertension. According to Riskesdas data released by the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2021, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia reached 34.1%. Data from the Kepahyang Regency Health Office in 2020 amounted to 22,188 cases with a prevalence of 28.1%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and smoking habits on the incidence of hypertension at the Bukit Sari Health Center, Kepahiang Regency in 2024.The type of research used in this study is analytical observational, data collected by distributing questionnaires to 75 respondents at the Bukit Sari Health Center, Kepahiang Regency.The results of the univariate test analysis showed that more than half of the respondents 41 (54.7%) had poor knowledge, almost half of the respondents 36 (48%) had current smoking habits and more than half of the respondents 51 (68%) had hypertension. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of hypertension at the Bukit Sari Health Center, Kepahiang Regency in 2024 with a p value of 0.006 and there was a relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of hypertension at the Bukit Sari Health Center, Kepahiang Regency in 2024 with a p value of 0.001.The researcher suggests providing a better understanding of the impact of knowledge and smoking habits on their health conditions, especially hypertension. By knowing the relationship between smoking and hypertension, respondents can be more aware of the importance of increasing health knowledge and changing smoking habits to manage and prevent hypertension.

Abstract

Intoduction: The coverage of Td2+ immunization for pregnant women in 2021 is 46.4%. This coverage is lower than the 2020 coverage of 54.7%, and also lower than the coverage of K4 pregnant women services which amounted to 88.8%. Meanwhile, Td2+ is a prerequisite for health services for K4 pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and husband support with the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization in pregnant women in the Working Area of Puskesmas Lingkar Timur, Bengkulu City. Method: The design in this study used analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. Sampling using nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling technique, respondents were 95 farmers in Bermani Ulu District. The statistical test in this study used the chi-square test bivariate analysis. Result and Discussion: The results of the univariate test analysis of most respondents (58.1%) with complete tetanus toxoid immunization, almost half of the respondents (38.7%) with sufficient knowledge, most respondents (61.3%) with supportive husband support. The results of bivariate analysis obtained the results of knowledge (0.000) and husband support (0.003) with the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization in pregnant women. There is a relationship between knowledge and husband's support with the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization in pregnant women. Conclusion: Researchers suggest that for Puskesmas the results of this study can be the basis for implementing a program of guidance, coaching, and counseling activities regarding tetanus toxoid immunization in pregnant women

Abstract

Gout Arthritis is a disease characterized by joint pain that suddenly recurs due to the deposition of monosodium urate crystals that accumulate in the joints as a result of high levels of uric acid in the blood (hyperuricemia). Usually known as gout (Elfira, 2020).The aim of this research is to understand and apply nursing care to reduce pain in Gouty Arthritis sufferers by applying Hangta Kay Manis compress therapy through the Ida Jean Orlando application in the Small Bridge Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City in 2024. The method for writing this Final Scientific Work is in the form of a case study with 2 subjects suffering from Gour Arthritis with pain who were taken in the work area of ​​the Jembatan Kecil Health Center, Bengkulu City and provided nursing care for 3 days.The results obtained after implementing warm cinnamon compresses on Mrs.It was concluded that there was a significant effect of applying warm cinnamon compresses on reducing pain in sufferers of Gouty Arthritis. After carrying out this case study, it is hoped that clients will feel the benefits and can use it as an alternative non-pharmacological therapy to help reduce the scale of pain in sufferers of Gouty Arthritis.

Abstract

Cases of pre-eclampsia in Bengkulu City are still one of the causes of maternal death. Based on data from medical colleagues, in 2013 it was 324/10000, 2014 experienced a slight decrease, namely 320/10000 January-October to 426 cases/10000 births caused by pre-eclampsia/eclampsia. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of Pre-eclampsia. Eclampsia at the Midwifery Polyclinic at the Mukomuko Hospital in 2022. This research was an accidental sampling study which was taken incidentally, the population was pregnant women who came to the midwifery polyclinic with a total sample of 81. Data collection was carried out using a direct interview technique using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using Univariate and Bivariate analysis with the chi-square test at α 5%. %), it was mostly known that pregnant women who had primiparous parity were at risk, namely 38 respondents (46.9%), a small number of pregnant women who had a history of hypertension before pregnancy experienced pre-eclampsia, namely 5 (6.2%), almost the majority of pregnant women who obese had preeclampsia 28 (34.6%). And the results of the chi-square value of ρ = 0.027, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, and 0.015, indicating a relationship between age history, family history of pre-eclampsia, parity, history of hypertension before pregnancy, and obesity with the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women at the Obstetrics Polyclinic Mukomuko Hospital in 2022... It is hoped that hospitals will increase counseling for pregnant women to carry out regular pregnancy checks so that possible complications during pregnancy can be detected early.

Abstract

The hospital is a complete individual health service organization that provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services provided for the benefit of the community in terms of improving the quality of life (Johan, 2005). One that determines patient satisfaction is the quality of nursing services on the quality of health services, in fact it is one of the determining factors for the image of health service institutions (hospitals) in the eyes of the public (Hayati 2010). Customer satisfaction is a key determinant of service demand levels and supply functions or operations. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Quality of Nursing Services and the Satisfaction of Inpatients at the Mukomuko Regional General Hospital in 2022 This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. Sampling used accidental sampling technique with the number of respondents 75 inpatients in class 1, 2 and class 3 at the Mukomuko Regional General Hospital. Statistical tests in this study used the frequency distribution test on univariate analysis and the chi-square test on bivariate analysis.The results showed that the quality of nursing services at the Mukomuko Regional General Hospital was mostly good, most of the respondents felt high satisfaction, and the results of the chi-square analysis showed that there was a relationship between the quality of nursing services and the satisfaction of inpatients at the Regional General Hospital. Mukomuko Year 2022 p value 0.000 < α = 0.05. Through this research, it is hoped that nurses can improve the quality of service in inpatient rooms in order to increase patient satisfaction which will lead to a comprehensive quality of hospital services.

Abstract

Hypertension causes high morbidity (illness) and mortality (death). In general, there are two ways to control blood pressure so that it remains stable, namely pharmacotherapy and lifestyle changes. The successful management of hypertension depends on the patient's own motivation and self-awareness to carry out self-care management designed to control symptoms and avoid complications. The purpose of this study is the relationship between self-efficacy and motivation to prevent complications with the degree of hypertension in the elderly in the working area of ​​the Mukomuko City Health Center in 2022. The design of this study used a descriptive corelational cross sectional method. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, the number of respondents was 54 elderly people with a diagnosis of hypertension. The independent variables in this study are self-efficacy and motivation and the dependent variable is blood pressure. Statistical tests in this study used the chi square test. The results obtained showed that there was a relationship between self-efficacy and motivation to prevent complications with the degree of hypertension in the elderly in the Working Area of ​​the Mukomuko City Health Center with a p value of 0.000 <α = 0.05. This research is useful for the community, especially the elderly with hypertension in order to be able to add insight and information about self-efficacy and motivation to prevent complications in order to control blood pressure.

Abstract

The skin is an organ that separates the body from the external environment, the skin is continuously exposed to environmental factors. According to (WHO) the level of infectious skin diseases worldwide was reported to be around 300 million cases in 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene with the behavior of preventing contact dermatitis in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025. The method used was descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with the number of samples in this study 48 respondents in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025, The results showed that almost most of the respondents had insufficient knowledge, almost all respondents had poor personal hygiene, most of the respondents had poor dermatitis prevention behavior. And there is a significant relationship between knowledge and contact dermatitis prevention behavior in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2024 where the p value is (0.010), There is a significant relationship between personal hygiene and contact dermatitis prevention behavior in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025 where the p value is (0.00). This study is expected to provide a source of information to community health centers to consider more about preventing contact dermatitis in fishermen.

Abstract

More than 70% of women in Indonesia suffer from vaginal discharge caused by fungi and parasites such as pinworms or Trichomonas vaginalis, primarily due to humid weather conditions that trigger Candida albicans infections. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between knowledge levels regarding personal hygiene and adolescents' perceptions with the prevention of vaginal discharge (flour albus) at SMKN 03 Kota Bengkulu in 2024. The research method used was a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique employed was stratified random sampling, with a sample size of 88 female adolescents at SMKN 03 Kota Bengkulu. The results of the univariate analysis showed that some respondents (43.2%) had adequate knowledge, most respondents (64.8%) had positive perceptions, and most respondents (61.4%) had positive prevention of vaginal discharge (flour albus). The bivariate analysis revealed a significant association between the level of knowledge about personal hygiene (p=0.000) and adolescent perceptions (p=0.000) with the prevention of vaginal discharge (flour albus). There is a relationship between the level of knowledge about personal hygiene and adolescent perception with the prevention of vaginal discharge (flour albus) at SMKN 03 Kota Bengkulu in 2024. The researcher suggests that the results of this study can increase respondents' knowledge about vaginal discharge and how to prevent it. Providing information about the importance of personal hygiene in maintaining genital hygiene.
