Abstract

This service activity is intended to explore the potential use of technology to improve digital literacy among students by utilizing the Kinemaster application as an innovative learning tool. Digital literacy is a crucial factor in individual success in a society that relies on information technology, and multimedia applications such as Kinemaster are considered to have a significant role in achieving this goal. The approach applied in this PKM is to provide training to participants, especially students and teachers, on the use of Kinemaster applications to create multimedia content that supports learning. They are taught how to edit videos, add multimedia elements, and produce interesting learning materials through this application. The positive impact of this activity involves improving participants' digital literacy skills, increasing their ability to use technology for learning, and increasing their interest in creative exploration through multimedia. The positive contribution of this PKM is reflected in the development of digital literacy among students, supporting a more interactive and technology-based learning process, and creating opportunities for participants to become more skilled and responsible multimedia content producers.

Abstract

The differentiation of the curriculum has become a significant topic in the field of education, particularly at the secondary school level. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of differentiated curriculum and its impact on students' academic achievements. Focusing on how this approach has been applied in specific secondary schools, the study places a central emphasis on students' responses to the differentiated curriculum. Individual student characteristics, such as learning styles and levels of understanding, are also taken into account in the analysis of the effectiveness of the differentiated curriculum. This evaluation provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in implementing this approach at the secondary school level, with the hope of contributing to the development of more responsive and inclusive educational policies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore primary school students' mathematical connection skills in solving mathematical problems. Mathematical connection ability is the ability of students to connect and integrate different mathematical concepts effectively. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The sample consisted of 20 grade V students at SDN 31 Bontomacinna. Data were collected through tests and interviews, and analysed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that students' mathematical connection ability varied, with some students having excellent, good, sufficient, deficient, and very deficient abilities. Data analysis showed that students with better mathematical connection ability tended to obtain higher scores in solving mathematics problems. Students' mathematical connection skills also influenced their overall understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to see connections between topics in mathematics, outside mathematics, and everyday life. This research makes an important contribution to the development of more effective mathematics curriculum and learning strategies. By understanding better about students' mathematical connection abilities, educators can design more interesting and enjoyable learning experiences, and improve students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia is also expected to support the development of students' mathematical connection skills at the primary school level.

Abstract

Penggunaan perangkat lunak (software) telah berkembang dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, termasuk dunia pendidikan. Perkembangan tersebut juga berdampak pada pembelajaran matematika khususnya program linier sebagai bagian dari matematika. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah pada materi program linier adalah POM for Windows. POM for Windows adalah salah satu perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan terkait materi program linear mulai dari permasalahan sederhana sampai pada permasalahan kompleks yang secara manual sulit untuk diselesaikan. Dengan adanya perangkat lunak ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses pembelajaran materi program linier yang dilakukan oleh guru di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak dari pembelajaran adaptif berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) terhadap prestasi akademik siswa sekolah menengah di era digital. Sampel sebanyak 110 siswa disurvei, mengeksplorasi frekuensi penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran adaptif berbasis AI dan korelasinya dengan prestasi akademik yang dilaporkan sendiri. Statistik deskriptif menunjukkan profil demografis yang beragam, sementara analisis korelasi dan regresi menemukan hubungan positif yang kuat antara frekuensi penggunaan alat pembelajaran dengan prestasi akademik. Analisis subkelompok lebih lanjut menyoroti variasi berdasarkan jenis kelamin, status sosial-ekonomi, dan kemampuan akademik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan penggunaan alat bantu secara positif mempengaruhi hasil akademik, dengan implikasi untuk kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi wawasan yang berharga untuk lanskap AI yang berkembang dalam pendidikan sekolah menengah.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires the strengthening of digital literacy from elementary school level as part of 21st century competencies. However, students' ability to access, evaluate, and produce digital information is still relatively low. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of interactive learning based on online platforms in improving the digital literacy of elementary school students. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design on fifth-grade students at a public elementary school in an urban area. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and digital literacy assessments before and after the intervention. Over three months, students participated in learning that integrated Google Classroom for task management, Wordwall for interactive evaluation, and Canva for digital content production. The results showed an average increase in students' digital literacy scores from 56 to 84, with significant improvements in information search (35%) and digital content production (42%). Students also began to demonstrate awareness of digital ethics, such as maintaining privacy and recognizing fake news. The main challenges included limitations in devices and internet connectivity, while supporting factors included school principal support, teacher readiness, and parental involvement. The study concluded that interactive learning based on online platforms is effective in improving elementary school students' digital literacy. Implications suggest that this learning model could serve as a strategic alternative to support more flexible, adaptive, and inclusive education in the digital age
