Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan terjadinya transfomasi pembelajaran dari luring menjadi daring. Perubahan tersebut membawa konsekuensi yaitu berkembangnya penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis digital. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan yaitu articulate storyline, yang dapat memfasilitasi guru dalam membuat media ajar berbasis digital. Sehingga dapat mengakomodir peserta didik dalam proses pmebelajaran. Berdasarkan letak geografis, sebagian besar Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) diwilayah Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya berada pada daerah dengan cakupan jaringan internet yang memadai. Namun, pembuatan media ajar berbasis digital belum banyak dilakukan oleh guru diarea tersebut. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru di wilayah Kota Pontianak dan Kabuaten Kubu Raya. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian yaitu; kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi articulate storyline; praktik dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi articulate storyline; dan evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian dihadiri oleh 21 guru yang berasal dari 10 SMA Negeri dan Swasta di wilayah Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa  84,6% peserta pelatihan belum pernah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan Articulate Storyline, 92,3% materi pelatihan yang diberikan menambah pengetahun baru bagi peserta, 76,9% peserta menilai kegiatan pelatihan dapat dilakukan kembali kepada para guru lainnya dan dapat membantu guru dalam menyiapkan media ajar, 92,3% peserta menilai materi pelatihan relevan untuk pembelajaran di era blended learning, dan 100% peserta setuju untuk menerapkan materi pelatihan dalam membuat media ajar.

Abstract

The learning media in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak quite varied, but they are limited to print media that do not contain local potential. One media that expected to be used by students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak in learning Biology is digital comics. The purpose of this study is to produce digital comic learning media based on the local potential of West Kalimantan which is valid and to get a positive response from students. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year using Research and Development with a modified 4D model, namely, Define, Design and Develop without Dissemination. The data collection technique was a validation questionnaire filled in by 9 validators on aspects of media, material and language. Student responses were measured using a questionnaire on small-scale trials and large-scale trials. The results showed that the developed digital comic media obtained very valid scores on the media aspect (92.38%) and language aspects (82.42%), while on the material aspect it obtained a valid value (79.58%). Students gave very positive responses in small-scale trials (96%) and large-scale trials (99%). It was concluded that the media developed are valid and acknowledged very positive responses from students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Based on the results of interviews with biology teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, that not implemented yet local potential based learning is because of limited information. This research aims to develop local potential of West Kalimantan based booklet media on biodiversity material in Grade X of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak.. Media development of this booklet used the Brog&Gall model development method, with stages:(1) Research and data collection,(2) planning,(3) Initial product development,(4) Initial field trials,(5) initial product repairs, and (6) field trials. The results research phase (1) that the book and worksheets teacher have not shown local potential, stage (2) the designed booklet contains core competencies, basic competencies, indicators, objectives, contents, evaluations, and bibliography, stage (3) shows the validity booklets on language aspects 85.3% (very valid), material aspects 95.3% (very valid) and media aspects 90.6% (very valid), stage (4) student responses was 85,7% (very positive) and the teacher's response was 88.7% (very positive). Then stage (5) and stage (6), student responses 90.0% (very positive) and teachers 90.4% (very positive), it concluded that developed booklet media valid and received very positive response from students and teachers. ABSTRAK. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru biologi SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, belum dilaksanakannya pembelajaran berbasis potensi lokal karena keterbatasan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media booklet berbasis potensi lokal Kalimantan Barat pada materi Keanekaragaman Hayati pada siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Pengembangan media booklet ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan model Brog & Gall, dengan tahapan:(1) Penelitian dan pengumpulan data,(2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) perbaikan produk awal, dan (6) Uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian tahap (1) buku dan LKS yang digunakan guru belum menampilkan potensi lokal, tahap (2) booklet yang dirancang memuat kompetensi inti, kompetensi dasar, indikator, tujuan, isi, evaluasi, dan daftar pustaka, tahap (3) menunjukkan kevalidan booklet pada aspek bahasa sebesar 85,3% (sangat valid), aspek materi 95,3% (sangat valid) dan aspek media 90,6% (sangat valid), tahap (4) didapatkan respon siswa sebesar 85,7% (sangat positif) dan respon guru sebesar 88,7% (sangat positif), kemudian tahap (5) dan tahap (6), respon siswa 90,0% (sangat positif) dan guru 90,4% (sangat positif), disimpulkan media booklet yang di kembangkan valid dan mendapatkan respon sangat positif dari siswa dan guru.

Abstract

Gunung Palung National Park (GPNP) has a diversity of ant, but the information as a source of learning is still lacking. This study aims to determine the diversity of ant species in the TNGP area and its potential as a source of learning. Research using descriptive qualitative method. Sampling used a pitfall trap placed on a line transect that passes through an alluvial soil forest. Collecting data on potential learning resources using the results of a questionnaire. The results showed that there were 90 individuals from 9 ant species specifically Dinomyrmex gigas, Polyrhachis bihamata, Rhytidoponera araneoides, Dolichoderus thoracicus, Axinidris Acholli, Hagensia havilandi, Myrmicaria brunnea, Anonychomyrma myrmex, Notostigma carazzii. The diversity of species of ants has the potential as a source of learning with indicators of clarity of potential (85%), ease of access (58.33%), security (91.66%), time efficiency (75%), cost (91.66%), suitability with learning objectives (100%), clarity of material objectives (100%), and clarity of information disclosed (100%). This research shows that information about ant diversity is very suitable as a source of learning biology, especially in the subjects of biology, biodiversity, and the classification of living things.

Abstract

The people of North Kayong Regency-West Kalimantan still uphold the culture of utilizing plants as food, known as North Kayong local vegetables. Preserving knowledge about existing local potential and its utilization can be done through education based on local wisdom or local potential. It can be employed as a tool to enhance the efficacy and significance of education while preserving the unique possibilities of every area. The K13 curriculum is a curriculum of change from conceptual learning to contextual learning. The education process according to regional potential can be done through encyclopaedia media that attracts readers because the encyclopedia contains explicit information and is accompanied by pictures with bright colours. analysis and development, the creation of a local vegetable-based encyclopedia of North Kayong Regency as a biology learning media using a development model (D&D) consisting of six stages, namely: problem identification, description of objectives, design and development, product trials, evaluation of trial results, and communication of trial outcomes. The outcomes of validation and students response trials to the encyclopedia media developed obtained perfect scores. Where the validation test received a value from media experts of 97.08% (very valid), material experts of 90.22% (very valid), and language experts of 88.14% (very valid). Students responded very well to the small-scale (78.83%) and large-scale (84.47%) trials.

Abstract

The Malay people of North Kayong Regency have traditional preserved foods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Preserved traditional food is a local potential that can be used as a learning resource for meaningful learning. This research aims to analyse the potential of traditional foods used as biology learning resources. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach with an exploratory method. Data collection were from observation, identification, direct communication, indirect communication and documentation techniques. The results of the research showed that there were 19 types of preserved traditional food from the Malay tribe of North Kayong Regency, namely dried bamboo shoots, bamboo shoots, dodol pumpkin, lempok durian, tempoyak, cengkarok tape, coconut mesekat, smoked fish, salted fish, pedak bloat, anchovies, amplang, shrimp. dried, cencalok, Belacan, Pekasam Pempapahat, Pekasam clams, and dried squid. The results of the identification showed that the types of plants and animals that were processed into traditional preserved foods include: bamboo, peringgi pumpkin, durian, cassava, black sticky rice, coconut, mackerel fish, sengat fish, durian fish, gelame fish, pempirang fish, mackerel fish , mayung fish, stingrays, sungkur shrimp, scallops, clams, squid and anchovies. The potential of preserved traditional food was in accordance with biology learning material on the classification of living things, addictive substances, biodiversity and biotechnology. It was concluded that the preserved traditional food of the Malay Tribe of North Kayong Regency had the potential as a biology learning resource of 93.2% (very good category).

Abstract

The project-based learning model focuses on directing students to be more active in learning. The learning model will be effective if combined with e-module media. Because e-modules provide facilities for students to learn independently. One of the materials in class XII Biology that is applied in e-modules is biotechnology related to local potential, namely Sawi Asin fermentation. The study aims to develop project-based learning e-modules based on research results on the nutritional content of Sawi Asin fermentation. The research method uses Research and Development which adapts the Alessi and Trolip development model. There are three stages carried out, namely, planning (planning), designing (design), and developing (development). The results of e-module validation by media experts showed an average score of 94.22% (very feasible), material experts 80.83% (feasible), and language experts 87.333% (very feasible). The results of the small group test with 12 students of class XII IPA showed an average value of 81.09% (very positive) and the large group test with 32 students of class XII was IPA 87.04% (very positive). It can be concluded that the project-based learning e-module based on the results of research on the nutritional content of Sawi Asin fermentation developed is very feasible to use and gets a very positive response from students.Keywords: E-module, Development, Project Based Learning

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Squamata order in Gunung Palung National Park as a learning resource. The study was condicted through 2 stages. First to identify the diversity of squamata in SRCP TNGP with observation Visual Encounter Survey. Second to analyze the potiend of squamata diversity as biology learning resource using questionnaire to analyze the potential data as biology learning resource. The research findings revealed 15 individuals from 10 species and 6 families of the Squamata order. Based on the results and feedback from 8 respondents, squamata order is considered suitable as a learning resource. The requirements for a learning resource include clear potential, clear learning objectives, alignment with learning goals, clarity of information provided, clear exploration guidelines, and clear expected outcomes. The results of the lizard and snake inventory study in TNGP, as a biology learning resource, align with the attainment of basic competencies in the field of biology, encompassing various levels of biodiversity, ecology, and environmental change, specifically in the subtopic of environmental conservation, suitable for class X high school.

Abstract

The Antar Ajong ceremony is a ritual before planting rice carried out by the Sambas Malay Tribe. Plant diversity in the Antar Ajong ceremony can be developed in the form of an encyclopedia to support learning at school. This study aims to measure the validity of the media and student responses to the encyclopedia developed. The research used Research and development (R&D) with a modified 4D development model that includes the define, design, and develop stages. Data collection used interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The data was analyzed using a Likert questionnaire. The validation test obtained a value from media experts of 96.88% (very valid), material experts of 91.66% (very valid), and linguists of 88.14% (very valid). Students gave very good responses to the small-scale (99.35%) and large-scale (98.25%) trials. So it can be concluded that the ethnobotanical encyclopedia media at the Antar Ajong ceremony of the Malay Tribe of Paloh District, Sambas Regency, is feasible to apply in learning and get a positive response. This encyclopedia medium can also be used as a medium for preserving the local wisdom of the Paloh Paloh District Malay community at the Antar Anjong ceremony.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang digunakan di SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya masih kurang sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan dan guru menggalami kendala dalam mengaitkan isu-isu atau fenomena sains dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis Socio-Scientific Issue terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berargumentasi siswa kelas XI SMA Taman Mulia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasy Eksperimental dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan test pilihan ganda dan uraian. Analisis data menggunakan interprestasi effect size dengan interprestasi Cohen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis Socio-Scientific Issue berpengaruh pada penguasaan konsep  siswa sebesar 65,3% dengan nilai effect size  sebesar 1.37 dan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi sebesar 58,9% dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1.12. Kesimpulan model pembelajaran Argument Driven Inquiry berbasis Socio-Scientific Issue berpengaruh besar terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berargumentasi siswa.   Kata kunci: Argument Driven Inquiry, Socio-Scientific Issue, Penguasaan Konsep, Kemampuan Berargumentasi
