Abstract

Pada kurikulum 2013 terdapat tiga aspek yang akan dinilai, yaitu aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek psikomotorik, namun penilaian aspek afektif sangat jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan aspek afektif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak antara yang di ajar dengan model role playing dan model make – a match. Penelitian ini termasuk True Experimental Design dengan rancangan Posttest Only Control Design. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Kelas eksperimen I (VIII F) dengan menggunakan model role playing dan kelas eksperimen II (VIII G) dengan menggunakan model make – a match. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji beda U Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan rata-rata aspek afektif pada eksperimen I 84,32 dan eksperimen II 83,43. Sedangkan hasil uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,760 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu nilai afektif siswa yang di ajar menggunakan model role playing dan model make – a match tidak ditemukan perbedaan.

Abstract

Study on turtles identification in West Kalimantan has been carried out. This study is aimed at determining and identifying spesies of turtlesin West Kalimantan. Furthermore, it is expected to be the first step that will provide basic information to support turtle conservation and management in West Kalimantan. The Methods used were surveys and interviews. The results of this study found 10 individual turtles from Pontianak ,Pontianak regency and Sambas regency. Identification revealed  that there were two spesies of Geomydidae family and one spesies of Emydidae family. The study discovered that Cuora amboinensis and Cyclemys dentata belong Geomydidae family. Abstract

Based on observations when apprenticed at SMAN 7 Pontianak it was known that students' critical thinking skills are still low. Therefore, a variety of learning models are needed to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research was to determine the differences and effective learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills between students taught using the project-based learning model and the problem based learning model. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used were measurement. The results showed a significant value of the T-test was 0.000<0.05. This means that there are differences in students' critical thinking skills taught using the project-based learning model and problem-based learning. The average value of N-Gain in the project-based learning model was 0.69 (moderate) while the problem-based learning model was 0.58 (moderate), so the project-based learning model is more effective than the problem based learning model on students' critical thinking skills.Keywords: Critical thinking skills, problem-based learning, project-based learning, cell material

Abstract

Metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak belum mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan science-edutainment berbasis lesson study dan mengetahui keberhasilan implementasinya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Kelas XI MIPA 9 dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui tes kognitif, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil refleksi 100% siswa sudah belajar dengan antusias, leluasa bergerak, dan aktif berdiskusi. Rata-rata nilai siswa sebelum dilakukannya tindakan hanya 49,43 dengan persentase ketuntasan 49,43% dan setelah diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan science-edutainment, pada siklus I rata-rata nilai mencapai 83,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 77,14% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 89,43 dengan persentase 97,14%. Kesimpulannya implementasi pembelajaran telah berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa biologi.Kata kunci: Lesson study, science-edutainment, ular tangga, hasil belajar biologi Implementation of science edutainment approach based lesson study to learning outcomes. The discussion method in SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak hasn’t support improvement in Biology learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the implementation of the science-edutainment-based learning approach and find out the student learning outcomes. The method used by Classroom Action Research. Class XI MIPA 9 was chosen sample research Data collected through cognitive tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the results of the reflection is 100% of students had learned enthusiastically, were free to move, and were active in discussions. The average student score before taking action was only 49.43 with a percentage of completeness 49.43% and after being taught using the science-edutainment approach, in the first cycle, the average value reached 83.71 with a percentage of completeness is 77.14% and increased in the cycle II to 89.43 with a percentage is 97.14%. The conclusion of the implementation of learning has succeeded in improving biology students learning outcomes.Keywords: Lesson study, science-edutainment, snakes and ladders, biology learning outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The collection of Unmuh Pontianak Integrated Laboratory specimens represents the diversity of vertebrate animals from West Kalimantan. As a learning resource, the specimen can be used as an object of observation that provides a direct learning experience and as a source of written information that can be packaged in encyclopedia book form. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid encyclopedia of vertebrate animals based on a valid specimen and receive a positive response from learners. Output target of this research is product and publication. Research method used is Research and Development (R & D). The development model used is 4-D modification (four D model) with 3 stages namely: (1) Define (Define). (2) Design (Design), and (3) Development (Develop). While at stage (4) Disseminate will not be done due to limited time and cost. The results showed that the developed encyclopedia was considered valid in both good and excellent category. The results of validator assessment include aspects of material presentation of 98% (very good), aspect image 100% (very good), 96% language aspect (very good), and aspect 84% (good) graphic component. Student response to encyclopedia developed on encyclopedia presentation aspect, ease of use of encyclopedia, and activity of learners learn of encyclopedia each get 82% response (very strong). While on the aspect of ease of learners understand the encyclopedia 80% (strong) and interest in encyclopedia 75% (strong). Overall it can be concluded that the developed encyclopedia is valid and get positive response from learners.

Abstract

Specimen-based media used for biology learning oriented to the science process. The community service program is prioritized to address the problems of high school biology learning in Kubu Raya district. The community service activities carried out are: (1) educating the importance of science processes in biology learning, (2) training in making specimen-based media for biology teachers, and (3) providing specimen-based media to support biology learning activities oriented to the science process. The results showed participants enthusiastically participated in the activity. Participants not only ask questions but also share experiences and information about biology learning activities that are oriented to the scientific process, especially biology practicums using specimen media. The results of training activities provide an overview of the use of specimens in biology lab work and how to make them. Provision of specimen-based media is useful for use in learning in schools, especially for biological practicum activities

Abstract

One of the programs and activities to equip the teenagers with skills is through the training of making purple sweet potato donuts. The result of these products can be sold to become a source of income. The implementation of training activities for the manufacture of purple sweet potato donuts was conducted in the Orphanage of Tunas Melati Muhammadiyah, Pontianak, which was attended by 35 participants consist of teenagers and orphanages. The atmosphere during the training was quite conducive and interesting. Phase by stage the training was followed by the residents of the orphanage well and they were very enthusiastic about the training. The result of the questionnaire that had been filled by the participants showed that most of them feel happy and enjoy the atmosphere during the training of making purple sweet potato donuts . According to them, the implementation of training activities making purple sweet potato donuts was easy to follow, done and practiced on their own. In addition, the raw materials needed were also easy to obtain and the price was relatively affordable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat karbohidrat optimal dalam pakan untuk mendukung kinerja pertumbuhanikan tengadak (Barbonymus achwanefeldii). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan yaitu tingkat karbohidrat dalam pakan yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu; 10%; 20%; 30%; dan 40%, dengan 3 ulangan. Pakan percobaan yang mengandung protein sama (isoprotein) dan energi yang juga sama (isokalori) diberikan pada ikan tengadak berukuran rata-rata3,66±0,49 g yang dipelihara di akuarium selama 60 hari. Ikan tengadak diberi pakan percobaan sesuai perlakuan secara adsatiasi dengan frekwensi 3 kali sehari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan dengan tingkat karbohidrat dalam pakan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan protein dan lemak tubuh, retensi protein dan lemak tubuh, laju pertumbuhn harian, jumlah konsumsi pakan harian dan efisiensi pakan. Perlakuan terbaik adalah ikan tengadak yang diberi pakan dengan kadar karbohidrat 20%, dengan nilai  kandungan protein tubuh  50,94±0,45 %; lemak tubuh 23,49±0,13 %; retensi protein 22,13±0,04 %; retensi lemak 30,93±0,01 %; laju pertumbuhan harian 3,52 %; jumlah konsumsi pakan harian 0,53±0,02 g dan efisiensi pakan 55.68±1.35 %. Tingkat karbohidrat dalam pakan ikan tengadak yang optimal adalah 22,89 %. Kata Kunci: karbohidrat, kinerja pertumbuhan, kan tengadak dan Barbonymus schwanenfeldii

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi adalah suatu keadaan kesehatan yang sempurna baik secara fisik, mental, dan sosial dan bukan semata-mata terbebas dari penyakit atau kecacatan dalam segala aspek yang berhubungan dengan sistem reproduksi, fungsi serta prosesnya. Kurangnya pengetahuan wanita di Desa Sungai Dungun tentang kesehatan reproduksi mendorong peserta KKU untuk membuat program yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kepedulian terhadap kesehatan reproduksi. Program yang dirancang adalah kegiatan penyuluhan sebagai wadah  bertanya dan menjadi informasi agar  kaum wanita di Desa Sungai dungun lebih peduli dengan kesehatan reproduksinya. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan pada hari Senin, tanggal 19 Agustus 2018 puluk 13.00-selesai dihadiri oleh 21 peserta anggota PKK Desa Sungai Dungun bertempatan di gedung Kepala Desa Sungai Dungun.  Penyampaian materi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dengan bantuan proyektor dan power point. Pada saat sesi terakhir dalam penyuluhan dibuat sesi pertanyaan oleh MC. Saat Tanya jawab berlangsung peserta sangat antusias dalam bertanya dan menyampaikan pendapatnya, terlihat bahwa peserta aktif ingin tahu lebih banyak mengenai tips dan trik menjaga kesehatan reproduksi.

Abstract

Tindakan pelestarian kura-kura di Kalimantan Barat perlu didukung informasi ilmiah mengenai jenisnya. Hingga saat ini, penelitian mengenai biodiversitas jenis kura-kura yang ada di Kalimantan Barat belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan karakter morfologi jenis kura-kura air tawar yang ada di Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menemukan 15 individu kura-kura yang berasal dari kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan terdapat 3 jenis kura-kura dari famili Geomydidae dan 1 jenis dari famili Emydidae. Jenis kura-kura dari famili Geomydidae adalah Cuora amboinensis, Cyclemys dentata, dan Heosemys spinosa, sedangkan jenis kura-kura dari famili Amydidae adalah Trachemys scripta. Kata kunci: Kalimantan Barat, Karakter Morfologi, Cuora amboinensis, Cyclemys dentata, Heosemys spinosa, Trachemys scripta
