Abstract

This study examines the effect of the porch on the adaptive thermal comfort of mosques by taking 2 mosques that have different porch shapes with the specific purpose of obtaining data on the neutrality, acceptability and preferences of the mosque respondents' thermal conditions in the framework of developing adaptive thermal comfort standards for Indonesia. Measurement of physical environment variables is done by taking data on temperature, humidity, air velocity, and mean radiant temperature (MRT) at 2 mosques and at the same time the impression and thermal preference questionnaire data are taken, examination of clothing types and activities, and list of thermal environment controls to 40 respondents in each mosque. Data of thermal neutrality and thermal preferences were analyzed by regression analysis using SPSS 19 software, while thermal acceptance was analyzed based on the results of the questionnaire answers. The analysis showed that the neutrality value at Ulul Albab mosque was Tdb = 28.47 OC, ET * = 30.11 OC, SET * = 23.11 OC, TSENS = 1.17, DISC = -1.06, and PMV = -0.65, this data shows that the neutral condition desired by respondents is slightly below the average condition, while the neutrality in Nurul Ilmi mosque at Tdb = 30.27 OC, ET * = 31.65 OC, SET * = 29.05 OC, TSENS = 1.03, DISC = 1.68, and PMV = 1.22, this data also shows that the neutral conditions desired by respondents are slightly below average conditions. While the preference value at Ulul Albab mosque is Tdb = 22.25 OC, ET * = 28.62 OC, SET * = 24.24 OC, TSENS = 0.23, DISC = 0.23, and PMV = -0.60 and preference conditions at Nurul Ilmi mosque at Tdb = 29.11 OC, ET * = 31.17 OC, SET * = 28.50 OC, TSENS = 1.04, DISC = 1.45, and PMV = 1.03. As many as 92% of respondents in the Ulul Albab mosque can accept local thermal conditions in the temperature range of 27oC - 31oC. While 90% of respondents in the Nurul Ilmi mosque can accept local thermal conditions in the temperature range of 27oC-32oC. The results of the neutrality, acceptance and preference analysis show that the Ulul Albab mosque is better than the Nurul Ilmi mosque.

Abstract

Abstract: The Al Haddad mosque is the first Jamie mosque in Pamanukan Subang, Al Haddad mosque is a mosque that is often used by Muslims in Pamanukan carrying out worship, especially Friday payers, during the coronavirus pandemic 2019 (Covid19)it was still crowded with worshipers. The purpose of this study was to determine th effect of visitor behaviour on personal space at the Al Haddad Pamanukan mosque during the covid 19 pandemics. The research method uses a quantitative research method, with the theoretical basis used is the theory of visitor behaviour and the theory of personal space.Abstrak: Masjid Al Haddad adalah masjid Jamie pertama di pamanukan subang, Masjid al haddad adalah masjid yang sering dipakai oleh umat muslim di pamanukan dalam menjalankan ibadah khususnya ibadah sholat jum’at, pada masa pandemi Corona Virus 2019 (Covid 19) pun masih ramai dikunjungi para jamaahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan mengetahui dampak perilaku pengunjung terhadap personal space di masjid al haddad pamanukan pada masa pandemic covid 19. Dari masalah yang ada tersebut, maka hipotesis berdasarkan penelitian ini merupakan pengaruh positif personal space terhadap perilaku pengunjung Masjid Alhaddad pada saat masa pandemic Covid 19 .Metode penelitian yang dipakai merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan  landasan teori yang digunakan merupakan teori perilaku pengunjung dan teori personal space. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis dengan statistic inferensial.

Abstract

Abstract: Tourism activities are activities that directly touch and involve the community so as to bring various impacts to the local community. Indonesia which is rich in natural products highlights aspects of tourism in several sectors, culture, traditional food and natural wealth. Although Culinary Tourism is closely related to the taste of local food, this research will focus its discussion on the Design of Marine Culinary Tourism Model on the North Coast of Demak, precisely in Tambakbulusan Village, Karang Tengah District, Demak Regency. In the area cultivated fisheries namely bandeng ponds, tilapia fish, and shrimp. Seeing the culinary potential and fishery results of Demak Regency, especially in the area that excels. As one of the villages that have this potential, Tambakbulusan Village has not been developed optimally. Developing this potential requires careful planning. So that the planning is not the wrong target, research needs to be done first to identify the feasibility of the area to be used as a planning object. This study used qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The analysis is related to the tourism element. The results of the research were then used as input to design the tourist area in Tambakbulusan Village. The design is done by analyzing space needs, design elements, measurable and immeasurable performance, then from the results of design analysis produced a site plan of tambakbulusan tourist village.Abstrak: Kegiatan tourism adalah suatu kegiatan yang secara langsung menyentuh dan melibatkan masyarakat sehingga membawa berbagai dampak terhadap masyarakat setempat. Indonesia yang kaya akan hasil alamnya menonjolkan aspek tourism pada beberapa sektor, budaya, makanan tradisional dan kekayaan alam. Walaupun Culinary Tourism erat kaitannya dengan cita rasa makanan daerah setempat, namun penelitian ini akan memfokuskan pembahasannya pada Desain Model Wisata Kuliner Bahari di Pesisir Pantai Utara Demak, tepatnya di Desa Tambakbulusan, Kecamatan Karang Tengah, Kabupaten Demak. Di kawasan tersebut dibudidayakan perikanan yakni tambak bandeng, ikan nila dan udang. Melihat potensi kuliner dan hasil perikanan Kabupaten Demak terutama di kawasan tesebut yang unggul. Sebagai salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi tersebut, Desa Tambakbulusan belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Untuk mengembangkan potensi tersebut diperlukan sebuah perencanaan yang matang. Agar perencanaan tersebut tidak salah sasaran, perlu dilakukan penelitian terlebih dahulu untuk mengidentifikasi kelayakan kawasan yang akan dijadikan sebagai obyek perencanaan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu terkait dengan elemen pariwisata. Hasil dari penelitian kemudian dijadikan sbegai masukan untuk merancang desain kawasan wisata di Desa Tambakbulusan. Perancangan desain tersebut diklakukan dengan menganalisis kebutuhan ruang, elemen perancangan, kinerja terukur dan tak terukur, kemudian dari hasil analisis perancangan dihasilkan sebuah siteplan desa wisata Tambakbulusan.

Abstract

Abstract: The creation of architectural works in tropical climates must be appropriate and responsive to the climate. In its application, it is expected to comply with the criteria for green building design requirements in SNI 03-6389-2011 and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number: 21 of 2021 concerning Green Building Performance Assessment, namely that the overall heat transfer value of the building envelope does not exceed 35 W/m2. The choice of material used in the building envelope affects the amount of heat transfer value in a building. The building envelope of the Polytechnic of Furniture Industry and Wood Processing Campus Education Building on all four sides are dominated by Asahimas green stopsol reflective glass material with a glass thickness of 8 mm and conwood material in several parts. The amount of heat transfer value is analyzed using quantitative research methods with the calculation of OTTV (Overall Thermall Transfer Value). From the analysis, it is known that the overall OTTV value of the building is 54,94 W/m2, so it does not meet the criteria for green building design requirements. It is necessary to make retrofit design efforts to reduce the OTTV value in order to achieve OTTV value as mentioned in the SNI 03-6389-2011 and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number: 21 of 2021.Abstrak: Pembuatan karya arsitektur di iklim tropis harus tepat dan responsif terhadap iklim. Dalam penerapannya diharapkan sesuai dengan kriteria persyaratan perancangan bangunan hijau pada SNI 03-6389-2011 dan Permen PUPR RI Nomor: 21 Tahun 2021 tentang Penilaian Kinerja Bangunan Gedung Hijau, yaitu bahwa nilai transfer panas menyeluruh pada selubung bangunan tidak melebihi 35 W/m2. Pemilihan jenis material yang digunakan pada selubung bangunan berpengaruh terhadap nilai transfer panas pada suatu bangunan. Selubung bangunan Gedung Pendidikan Kampus Politeknik Industri Furnitur dan Pengolahan Kayu pada keempat sisinya didominasi material kaca reflektif stopsol green Asahimas dengan ketebalan kaca 8 mm dan material conwood di beberapa bagian. Untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai transfer panas dilakukan analisa menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan perhitungan OTTV (Overall Thermall Transfer Value). Dari hasil analisa diketahui bahwa nilai OTTV keseluruhan bangunan sebesar 54,94 W/m2, sehingga tidak memenuhi kriteria persyaratan perancangan bangunan hijau. Perlu dilakukan upaya retrofit desain untuk menurunkan nilai OTTV tersebut agar mencapai nilai OTTV sesuai SNI 03-6389-2011 dan Permen PUPR RI Nomor: 21 Tahun 2021.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia has a humid tropical climate, building design must pay attention to climate conditions when planning and implementing it. This condition has a very big influence on an architectural design, one of which is to provide building shading in order to adapt to climatic conditions. In the world of architecture, a building façade shading is very important for the buioding itself, and has an influence on the users of the room. Shading on the facade of the building as a protector of the building from direct sunlight, shading also has an aesthetic to a building (Purnama, 2020). There are different types of facades that will become a reference for research in a building to find out which type is effective on the climate. The method used in this study uses descriptive quantitative methods, where research make direct observations and make measurements of the object under study and then analyzed to archieve the objective of the study on the different types of building facades.Abstrak: Indonesia memiliki iklim tropis lembab, desain bangunan harus memperhatikan kondisi iklim saat dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaannya. Kondisi ini sangat mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar pada sebuah desain arsitektur, yang salah satunya adalah memberikan shading bangunan guna untuk menyesuaikan terhadap kondisi iklim. Pada dunia arsitektur sebuah shading fasad bangunan sangatlah penting bagi bangunan itu sendiri, dan memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengguna ruangan. Shading pada fasad bangunan sebagai pelindung bangunan dari sinar matahari secara langsung, shading juga memiliki estetika terhadap sebuah bangunan (Purnama, 2020). Terdapat perbedaan tipe fasad yang akan menjadi acuan penelitian dalam sebuah bangunan untuk mengetahui jenis manakah yang efektif terhadap iklim. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, dimana peneliti melakukan observasi langsung dan melakukan pengukurang ke obyek yang diteliti kemudian dianalisa untuk mencapai tujuan dari penelitian terhadap berbedaan 3 jenis fasad bangunan.

Abstract

Abstract: The mosque is a place for Muslims to worship. As a place of worship, of course the user's comfort while worshiping in the mosque is very important so that users can worship solemnly. The Khalid Al-Naqobi Mosque is one of the mosques in the program to build 100 waqf mosques from Qatar whose construction is being managed by PBNU in Indonesia. The waqf mosque will begin to be built at the end of 2021 and will be built in various regencies and cities, however, during its construction, the management has determined a blue print design and materials to be used in almost all waqf mosque constructions with different existing conditions. So it is likely that the conditioning factors in the building are not considered. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the design of the Khalid Al-Naqobi mosque was able to overcome room conditioning in realizing the thermal comfort of its users. The results of this observation can be used as a consideration in designing mosques with natural ventilation.Keyword: Mosque, Architecture, Thermal ComfortAbstrak: Masjid merupakan tempat umat muslim untuk beribadah. Sebagai tempat beribadah tentunya kenyamanan pengguna saat beribadah di dalam masjid sangatlah penting agar pengguna bisa beribadah dengan khusuk. Masjid Khalid Al-Naqobi merupakan salah satu masjid dari program pembangunan 100 masjid wakaf dari Qatar yang dikelola pembangunannya oleh PBNU di Indonesia. Masjid wakaf ini mulai di bangun pada akhir tahun 2021 dan dibangun di berbagai kabupaten maupun kota, namun dalam pembangunannya pengelola sudah menentukan satu desain blue print serta material-material yang digunakan untuk diterapkan hampir di semua pembangunan masjid wakaf dengan kondisi eksisting yang berbeda-beda. Sehingga besar kemungkinan faktor-faktor pengkondisian dalam bangunan kurang diperhatikan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi apakah desain masjid Khalid Al-Naqobi ini mampu mengatasi pengkondisian ruangan dalam mewujudkan kenyamanan termal penggunanya. Hasil dari pengamatan ini dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam perancangan masjid dengan penghawaan alami.Kata Kunci:  Masjid, Arsitektur, Kenyamanan termal.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of glasses for building wall provides psychological comfort because the glasses functioned as connecting media between outer and inner building. In achieving the energy saver based on Green Building rules, Passive Design Strategy is applied that is by Facade Modification. One of the materials used is glasses as the outer skin. According to Widodo (2016: 23), the comfortable room temperature is between 25 – 280C. From the average temperature calculation at the Psychology Faculty at noon is above 290C, or it exceeds the normal temperature, although it has used double skin façade. Therefore, after measuring by using One Way ANOVA method, it shows that double skin façade glass on that building temperature is significantly decreased although it has not achieved the standard of comfortable room.Keywords: Double Skin Façade, Green Building, Heat SaverAbstrak: Penggunaan material kaca pada dinding bangunan memberikan kenyamanan psikologis karena menjadi media penghubung antara lingkungan luar dan dalam bangunan. Dalam Mencapai Penghematan Energi Sesuai Dengan Kaidah Green Building, dilakukan Strategi Desain Pasif, yakni melalui Modifikasi Façade. Salah satu material yang dapat digunakan adalah kaca sebagai outer skin. Menurut Widodo (2016: 23), suhu ruangan yang nyaman yakni berkisar antara 25-28oC. Dari hasil pengukuran suhu pada siang hari yaitu suhu rata rata ruangan pada Gedung Fakultas Psikologi diatas 29oc, diatas standar suhu ruang yang nyaman walaupun sudah menggunakan double skin façade. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dan pengujian menggunakan metode One Way ANOVA diketahui bahwa double skin façade kaca pada Gedung tersebut cukup signifikan dalam menurunkan suhu ruangan meskipun masih belum dalam mencapai standart kenyamanan ruang yang ditentukan.Kata Kunci: Double Skin Facade, Green Building, Enegi Panas

Abstract

The digital era presents both challenges and opportunities for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as students easily access information that is not always positive, necessitating PAI teachers to guide them in self-directed learning and moral development. This research examines the role of PAI teachers in fostering self-directed learning and character in students during the digital age, focusing on the integration of Abuddin Nata's Theory of Educational Communication and Malcolm Knowles' Theory of Self-Directed Learning. The research method employed is a qualitative library study with descriptive analytical analysis, detailing and illustrating existing data from literature. The findings indicate that PAI teachers must act as facilitators, educators, mentors, instructors, and motivators, applying preventive, repressive, and curative approaches to moral development. The integration of these two theories enables PAI teachers to cultivate students who are not only intellectually bright but also possess strong character and noble morals amidst the influx of digital information. Thus, this study concludes that the holistic role of PAI teachers is crucial in producing a generation that is independent and grounded in Islamic values. ABSTRAKEra digital menghadirkan tantangan dan peluang bagi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) karena siswa mudah mengakses informasi yang tidak selalu positif, sehingga guru PAI perlu membimbing mereka dalam belajar mandiri dan menjaga akhlak. Penelitian ini mengkaji peran guru PAI dalam membentuk kemandirian belajar dan akhlak siswa di era digital, dengan fokus pada integrasi Teori Komunikasi Edukatif Abuddin Nata dan Teori Kemandirian Belajar Malcolm Knowles. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif analitis, yang mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan data secara rinci dari literatur yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI harus berperan sebagai fasilitator, pendidik, pembimbing, pengajar, dan motivator, serta menerapkan pendekatan preventif, represif, dan kuratif untuk membina akhlak. Integrasi kedua teori ini memungkinkan guru PAI untuk membentuk siswa yang tidak hanya cerdas intelektual, tetapi juga berkarakter kuat dan berakhlak mulia di tengah arus informasi digital. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran holistik guru PAI sangat krusial dalam mencetak generasi yang mandiri dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai keislaman.

Abstract

Energy Consumption Index (IKE) is a key indicator in evaluating the energy efficiency of buildings. However, current IKE calculation methods, such as software-based simulations, are often complex, require technical expertise, and large resources, making them impractical. This study explores the potential of a hybrid model in calculating IKE by integrating six theoretical approaches to simplify the process without compromising accuracy. Case studies were conducted at the Ministry of Public Works Building and the Directorate General of Water Resources Building, focusing on benchmarking analysis of HVAC systems, lighting, and energy consumption patterns. The results show that with a multi-theoretical approach and the availability of field data, a hybrid model has the potential to be developed and applied to simplify IKE calculations, especially in the early design and energy performance evaluation stages, although there are challenges in maintaining accuracy and increasing the accessibility of the method for non-technical users. The case study shows a difference in IKE of up to 40% between the Directorate General of Water Resources Building and the Minister of Public Works Building, influenced by factors such as air conditioning systems, lighting, and elevator usage. A hybrid model based on empirical data considering the specific characteristics of each building can be an effective solution to bridge the gap between the complexity and ease of IKE calculation. Further studies are needed to integrate operational data from more buildings and optimize software-based simulations

Abstract

Energy Use Intensity (EUI) is a key indicator for evaluating the energy efficiency of buildings. This study aims to analyze the EUI factors in two government office buildings: the Ministerial Office (MO) building and the Directorate General of Water Resources (DGWR) building of The Ministry of Public Works. Both are located in close proximity and share similar physical characteristics under tropical climate. The EUI is analyzed using the walkthrough audit method as a practical approach for assessing energy performance. The results show that the DGWR Building exhibits higher energy consumption, primarily due to the dominance of cooling loads accounting for 54.13% of the total EUI, compared to 46.54% at the MO building.  There are three main factors contributing to the EUI variation include: (i) heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system – the water-cooled chiller used in the MO building shows higher efficiency compared to the air-cooled chiller system installed in the DGWR building; (ii) Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) – although both buildings utilize similar envelope materials, the OTTV value in DGWR building is significantly higher due to its larger window-to-wall ratio (WWR), which increases heat gain through the facade; and (iii) Lighting – while there is no significant difference in total installed lighting power, the higher lighting power density (LPD) in DGWR building contributes to a greater lighting energy load per unit area.
