Abstract

Abstrak_Konsep arsitektur sadar energi mempertimbangkan efisiensi dan konservasi sumber daya alam dalam proses merancang, diantaranya dengan implementasi bangunan hijau. Kinerja desain pada bangunan hijau dipengaruhi oleh konsistensi pelaku utama pembangunan yakni pemerintah, perencana, perancang/arsitek, dan masyarakat pengguna. Komitmen mempertahankan desain hijau dapat berjalan berkesinambungan manakala terbentuk pola hubungan peran dan desain yang saling mendukung. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan desain dengan peran masyarakat untuk keberlanjutan bangunan hijau. Lokasi penelitian merupakan representasi karakter kota di Indonesia, yakni Kota Surakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif melalui survei lapangan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui pengamatan lapangan, wawancara dan kuisioner dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara peran masyarakat dengan keberlanjutan desain bangunan hijau, dimana terdapat respon yang berbeda pada desain yang mengakomodasi peran masyarakat dan adanya kontribusi yang berbeda dari tingkat ekonomi masyarakat untuk mendukung keberlanjutan desain hijau.Kata kunci : Desain; Peran Masyarakat; Keberlanjutan; Bangunan Hijau Abstract_The concept of energy-conscious architecture considers the efficiency and conservation of natural resources in the design process, including the implementation of green buildings. Design performance in green buildings is influenced by the consistency of the main actors of development, namely the government, planners, designers/architects, and the user community. Commitment to maintaining a green design can run continuously when a role and design relationship pattern is formed that supports each other. The research aimed to identify design relationships with the role of the community for the sustainability of green buildings. The research location was a representation of the character of cities in Indonesia, namely the City of Surakarta. The study used qualitative methods with an inductive approach through field surveys. Data collection was obtained through field observations, interviews and questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. The results of the research indicated that there was  a relationship between the role of the community and the sustainability of green building design, where there were different responses to the design that accommodate the role of the community and the existence of different contributions from the economic level of the community to support the sustainability of the green design.Keywords: Design in Architectu;, Community Participator;  Sustainability;  Green Building

Abstract

The source of the noise level at the train station in several interior spaces including the VIP room, hall, office, market, and loco café by measuring in the field and carried out on September 15, 2023, at 12.33 WIB. The noise standard level based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 48 of 1996 that the train station is 60 decibels. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution of noise. The method used is a quantitative method by taking in the field and comparing the calibrated Sound Level Meter and Sound Meter Application within 3 minutes from the arrival of the train until the train departs. The results of the noise level of the five interiors of Semarang Poncol Station show that the noise level is greatest in the hall of Poncol station because the room is semi-open to make the sound that enters the room is very disturbed, and the noise level of the five rooms above the standard limit of the noise level. So it can be concluded that the room at Poncol Station experiences more noise than it should. The noise in the interior area of the station can exceed the specified comfort limit because of the different sound sources.

Abstract

Limbah pertanian merupakan sisa hasil kegiatan pertanian yang dimulai dari proses produksi hingga panen. Pentingnya penanganan dan pengelolaan limbah di dasari atas sistem pertanian berkelanjutan sehingga dapat menghemat biaya produksi dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Salah satu cara pengelolaan limbah pertanian adalah dengan pembuatan eco enzyme. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam mengolah limbah pertanian menjadi produk tepat guna yaitu eco enzyme. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dibagi dalam beberapa tahap yaitu survey, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Pada tahap survey dilakukan pengumpulan data, identifikasi permasalahan dan diskusi dengan mitra untuk menyesuaikan kebutuhan mitra serta berkoordinasi mengenai potensi yang dapat dikembangkan. Tahap perencanaan dilakukan untuk persiapan materi serta koordinasi dengan mitra mengenai waktu dan tempat pelaksanaan serta bahan yang perlu dipersiapkan. Tahap pelaksanaan dibagi menjadi sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Sosialisasi dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai eco enzyme. Pelatihan berguna untuk memberi pengalaman langsung mengenai pembuatan eco enzyme. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan adanya peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan peserta sebesar 72% setelah dilakukannya sosialisasi. Hasil kuisioner evaluasi kegiatan menunjukan semua peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini telah sesuai kebutuhan (100%), memiliki kebermanfaatan yang tinggi (100%) dan peserta merasa puas selama kegiatan berlangsung (100%). Minat penggunaan eco enzyme setelah sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan dari 80% peserta menjadi 100% peserta. Diharapkan adanya peningkatan pengelolaan limbah pertanian di kebun Oibama untuk mendukung sistem pertanian berkelanjutan dari segi penggunaan bahan organik pada proses budidaya dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. SOCIALIZATION AND TRAINING OF AGRICULTURAL WASTE AS ECO ENZYME TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE Abstract Agricultural waste is the remaining results of agricultural activities starting from the production process to harvest. The importance of handling and managing waste is based on a sustainable farming system to save production costs and maintain environmental sustainability. One way to manage agrarian waste is by making eco enzymes. The objective of this community service initiative is to enhance the expertise and proficiency of farmers in the conversion of agricultural waste into suitable products, specifically eco enzymes. This community service is divided into several stages, namely survey, planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the survey stage, data is gathered, problems are identified, and discussions are held with partners to align their needs and collaborate on potential development opportunities The planning phase involves preparing materials and coordinating with partners about the timing and location of implementation, as well as the necessary materials. The implementation stage is divided into socialization and training. Socialization is carried out to increase participants' knowledge about eco enzymes. Training is beneficial for gaining hands-on experience in producing eco enzymes. The assessment findings demonstrated a 72% increase in participant knowledge levels following the socialization activity. The results of the activity evaluation questionnaire showed that all participants stated that this activity was by their needs (100%), had high benefits (100%) and participants were satisfied during the activity (100%). After the process of socialization and training, the percentage of participants expressing interest in utilizing eco enzyme rose from 80% to 100%. The expectation is for an enhancement in the handling of agricultural waste within the Oibama garden, to promote a sustainable approach to farming through the utilization of organic materials in the cultivation process and the maintenance of environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract:. Thermal comfort is a state of mind that expresses a user's satisfaction with thermal conditions. This study focuses on the design of natural ventilation which is one of the efforts to reduce the heat that exists in the building, especially in maintaining the thermal conditions. Tawang Train Station, Semarang has a natural ventilation design that is still maintained especially in the waiting room. This study aims to determine the thermal conditions of the design of ventilation using the theory of Mom and Wiseborn, SNI 03-6572-2001, and Olgyay chart. This research method uses quantitative and field measurements were done for 14 hours to know the movement of air, temperature, humidity. The results were then compared with the standard and the theory. It was found that thermal comfort conditions that still utilize the movement of the wind from natural ventilation in the main waiting room of Tawang Semarang Station.Keyword: Thermal Condition, Natural Ventilation, Semarang Tawang Station.Abstrak: Kenyamanan termal merupakan suatu kondisi pikir seseorang yang mengekspresikan kepuasan pengguna terhadap kondisi termal.  Penelitian ini berfokus pada desain penghawaan yang merupakan salah satu upaya mengurangi panas yang ada dalam bangunan terutama dalam menjaga kondisi termal. Stasiun Tawang Semarang, mempunyai desain penghawaan alami yang masih dipertahannkan terutama pada ruang tungguya. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi termal dari desain penghawaan dengan menggunakan teori mom dan wiseborn, SNI 03-6572-2001, serta grafik olgyay. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dan pengukuran dilapangan dilakukan selama 14 jam untuk mengetahui pergerakan udara, temperature, kelembaban. Hasil penelitian kemudian di bandingkan dengan standar SNI, Mom & Wiseborn dan Diagram Olgyay. Ditemukan bahwa kondisi kenyamanan termal yang masih memanfaatkan pergerakan angin dari ventilasi alami pada ruang tunggu utama Stasiun Semarang Tawang.Kata Kunci: Kondisi Termal, Ventilasi Alami, Ruang tunggu, Stasiun Semarang Tawang

Abstract

Abstract: Research on thermal performance will have implications for building energy savings. The method of discussing thermal performance is varied. In this study will look at the performance of the building envelope in creating thermal comfort of buildings. The study used a field study by comparing the temperature of wall surfaces in vernacular houses in coastal and mountain areas. Measurements were carried out for 5 days in three different periods, namely the dry season to rain, the rainy season and the rainy season to the dry season. The results showed differences in wall surface temperature between vernacular houses on mountains and beaches. This is in accordance with the conditions of climate variables at different locations in height. The location of the beach has a higher tendency than the location of the mountain.Keyword: wall surface temperature, vernacular house, thermal performance  Abstrak: Penelitian tentang kinerja termal akan berimplikasi pada penghematan energi bangunan. Metode pembahasan kinerja termal banyak ragamnya. Pada penelitian ini akan melihat kinerja selubung bangunan dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal bangunan. Penelitian menggunakan studi lapangan dengan membandingkan suhu permukaan dinding pada rumah vernakular di daerah pantai dan gunung. Pengukuran dilakukan selama 5 hari pada tiga periode yang berbeda yaitu musim peralihan kemarau ke hujan, musim hujan dan musim peralihan hujan ke kemarau.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan suhu permukaan dinding antara rumah vernakular di gunung dan pantai. Hal ini sesuai dengan kondisi variabel iklim pada lokasi yang berbeda ketinggiannya. Lokasi pantai mempunyai kecenderungan lebih tinggi dibanding lokasi gunung.Kata Kunci: suhu permukaan dinding, rumah vernakular, kinerja termal

Abstract:Pahlawan Street is one of the most favorite street corridor in Semarang. It is crowded by people every weekend not only because of its location itself but also because of the existence the surrounding buildings.  It has wide pedestrian walk which triggered many activity support to begin. The presence of many activity support affect the visual quality of Pahlawan street. This research is aimed to know the influences of activity support towards visual quality of Pahlawan street A quantitative rasionalistic method is used by collecting literature study, questionnaires and field observationns..The method data analysis will use statistical analysis by regression test using SPSS 24.0 software for windows. The result of this research proved that activity support influences the visual quality of Pahlawan street.Keywords : activity support, visual quality, street corridor Abstrak: Koridor Jalan Pahlawan merupakan koridor jalan favorit yang cukup ramai dan berada di pusat Kota Semarang.Pada koridor jalan ini terdapat bangunan-bangunan tinggi yang menjadi magnet bagi warga untuk datang kesana.Keberadaan bangunan-bangunan tinggi disertai dengan jalur pedestrian yang lebar,tentu juga menjadi magnet bagi berkembangnya activity support yang terjadi disana.Dengan adanya activity support yang terbentuk di koridor Jalan Pahlawan tentu berpengaruh terhadap kualitas visualnya. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh tersebut,maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif rasionalistik.Metode pengumpulan data berupa studi literature, observasi lapangan, wawancara dan kuesioner. Abstract

Abstract: Buildings in the tropical area should be able to anticipate the tropical climate well. Buildings with active systems design need to be planned in such a way that energy use in the building becomes effective and efficient, Setyowati (2015). The envelope  of the building became the front guard of radiation into the building. With the right building envelope  design, the use of energy in the building can be optimally saved. Building envelope  as a building element that enclosesit  is a wall and translucent roof or non-translucent light where most thermal and light energy moves through the element. The results show that solar radiation contributes the largest amount of heat entering the building. The concept of OTTV calculates the heat transfer from outside into a building that is conduction through infinite walls of light, sun-glass radiation, and heat conduction on glass. Large solar radiation transmitted through the building envelope is influenced by the building facade, the ratio of the glass area and the overall wall of the wall (wall to wall ratio), and the type and thickness of glass used. If the OTTV value of a building is less than or equal to 35 W / m2, then the building is in compliance with the Energy Efficient Building Terms SNI 03-6389-2011. PMI Training Center Central Java Province as the object of study is a modern building dominated by glass material. The glass used is a hot-colored glass. The result of the OTTV calculation on the East wall of the Central Java Education Center was 33.140 W / m2, on the North Wall was 33.577 W / m2, on the West wall was 41.645 W / m2, at the South wall of 30.468 W / m2. From the OTTV calculation, total OTTV value is 35,5991 W / m2, so it is concluded that the building of PMI Training Center in Central Java Province does not meet the requirement of energy-saving building based on SNI 03-6389-2011. To achieve the ideal value of OTTV energy-saving buildings based on SNI 03-6389-2011 at PMI Training Center Central Java Province, it is necessary to reduce the use of glass to 10.5% of the wall area on the western wall. From the simulation result after repairing on West side wall, total OTTV value is 32.9795 W / m2 in order that PMI Training Center of Central Java Province could fulfilled energy saving building requirement based on SNI 03-6389-2011.Keywords: Building Envelope, Glass, OTTVAbstrak: Bangunan di daerah tropis seyogyanya dapat mengantisipasi iklim tropis dengan baik. Bangunan dengan sistem aktif desain perlu direncanakan sedemikian rupa agar pemanfaatan energi didalam bangunan menjadi efisien, efektif dan hemat, Setyowati (2015). Selubung bangunan menjadi garda depan masuknya radiasi ke dalam bangunan. Dengan desain selubung bangunan yang tepat, maka pemakaian energi didalam bangunan dapat dihemat seoptimal mungkin. Selubung Bangunan sebagai elemen bangunan yang menyelubungi yaitu dinding dan atap tembus atau yang tidak tembus cahaya dimana sebagian besar energi termal dan cahaya berpindah melalui elemen tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa radiasi matahari adalah penyumbang jumlah panas terbesar yang masuk ke dalam bangunan. Konsep OTTV menghitung perpindahan panas dari luar ke dalam bangunan yaitu konduksi melalui dinding tak tembus cahaya, radiasi matahari yang melalui kaca, dan konduksi panas pada kaca. Besar radiasi matahari yang ditransmisikan melalui selubung bangunan dipengaruhi oleh fasade bangunan yaitu perbandingan luas kaca dan luas dinding bangunan keseluruhan (wall to wall ratio), serta jenis dan tebal kaca yang digunakan. Bila nilai OTTV suatu bangunan yang dihasilkan kurang/sama dengan 35 W/m2, maka bangunan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan Syarat Bangunan Hemat Energi pada SNI 03-6389-2011. Gedung Diklat PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai objek studi adalah bangunan berlanggam modern dengan dominasi bukaan dinding bermaterial kaca. Kaca yang digunakan adalah kaca berwarna jenis Panasap. Hasil perhitungan OTTV pada dinding Timur Gedung Diklat PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebesar 33,140 W/m2, pada dinding Utara sebesar 33,577 W/m2, pada dinding Barat sebesar 41,645 W/m2, pada dinding Selatan sebesar 30,468 W/m2. Dari hasil perhitungan OTTV didapatkan nilai Total OTTV sebesar 35,5991 W/m2, sehingga disimpulkan bangunan Gedung Diklat PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah tidak memenuhi syarat bangunan hemat energi berdasarkan SNI 03-6389-2011. Untuk mencapai nilai ideal OTTV bangunan hemat energi berdasar SNI 03-6389-2011 pada Gedung Diklat PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah, maka perlu dilakukan pengurangan  pemakaian kaca menjadi 10,5% dari luas dinding pada dinding sisi Barat. Dari hasil simulasi setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada dinding sisi Barat, didapatkan nilai Total OTTV sebesar 32,9795 W/m2 sehingga Gedung Diklat PMI Provinsi Jawa Tengah memenuhi syarat bangunan hemat energi berdasarkan SNI 03-6389-2011.Kata Kunci: Selubung Bangunan, Kaca, OTTV

Abstract

Abstract: Humans in carrying out daily activities always need sunlight. Nature has provided an abundant source of energy, solar heat. Indonesia is on the equator very rich in energy from sunlight. Sunlight has not been used by humans and seems to be refused entry into the room. The reading room is one of the facilities in the library. The reading room requires adequate sunlight and a good reading table layout so that it can be used optimally when reading and writing. The purpose of this research is to improve visual comfort in the reading room so that natural light can enter the reading room optimally in accordance with the standard requirements of the reading room so that the reading room can be utilized optimally. Research using quantitative methods that are measuring the location of the level of natural lighting in the reading room by using measuring devices. This research is very important to be done to translate human desires in planning and designing a good reading room. The results of this study can explain that natural light can be optimally utilized in the reading room (reading table) in the library by using reflector material (directors of sunlight). Determination of access to sunlight both windows and other openings will affect the organization of space, dimensions and design of space.Keyword: Natural Light, Reading Room, LibraryAbstrak: Manusia dalam melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari selalu membutuhkan cahaya matahari. Alam telah menyediakan sumber energi berlimpah yaitu panas matahari. Indonesia berada di garis katulistiwa sangat kaya energi dari sinar matahari. Cahaya matahari belum banyak dimanfaatkan manusia dan seakan-akan ditolak masuk ke dalam ruangan. Ruang baca merupakan salah satu fasilitas pada perpustakaan. Ruang baca membutuhan cahaya matahari yang cukup dan tata letak meja baca yang baik agar dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal saat melakukan aktifitas membaca dan menulis. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan kenyamanan visual di ruang baca agar cahaya alami dapat masuk ke dalam ruang baca secara maksimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan standar ruang baca sehingga ruang baca dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu melakukan pengukuran dilokasi mengenai tingkat pencahayaan alami pada ruang baca dengan memakai alat ukur. Penelitian ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk menterjemahkan keinginan manusia dalam merencanakan dan merancang ruang baca yang baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjelaskan bahwa cahaya alami dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal pada ruang baca (meja baca) di perpustakaan dengan menggunakan bahan reflector (pengarah cahaya matahari). Penentuan akses cahaya matahari baik jendela maupun bukaan lainnya yang bisa mempengaruhi organisasi ruang, dimensi dan desain ruang.Kata Kunci: Cahaya Alami, Ruang Baca, Perpustakaan

This study examines the effect of the porch on the adaptive thermal comfort of mosques by taking 2 mosques that have different porch shapes with the specific purpose of obtaining data on the neutrality, acceptability and preferences of the mosque respondents' thermal conditions in the framework of developing adaptive thermal comfort standards for Indonesia. Measurement of physical environment variables is done by taking data on temperature, humidity, air velocity, and mean radiant temperature (MRT) at 2 mosques and at the same time the impression and thermal preference questionnaire data are taken, examination of clothing types and activities, and list of thermal environment controls to 40 respondents in each mosque. Data of thermal neutrality and thermal preferences were analyzed by regression analysis using SPSS 19 software, while thermal acceptance was analyzed based on the results of the questionnaire answers. The analysis showed that the neutrality value at Ulul Albab mosque was Tdb = 28.47 OC, ET * = 30.11 OC, SET * = 23.11 OC, TSENS = 1.17, DISC = -1.06, and PMV = -0.65, this data shows that the neutral condition desired by respondents is slightly below the average condition, while the neutrality in Nurul Ilmi mosque at Tdb = 30.27 OC, ET * = 31.65 OC, SET * = 29.05 OC, TSENS = 1.03, DISC = 1.68, and PMV = 1.22, this data also shows that the neutral conditions desired by respondents are slightly below average conditions. While the preference value at Ulul Albab mosque is Tdb = 22.25 OC, ET * = 28.62 OC, SET * = 24.24 OC, TSENS = 0.23, DISC = 0.23, and PMV = -0.60 and preference conditions at Nurul Ilmi mosque at Tdb = 29.11 OC, ET * = 31.17 OC, SET * = 28.50 OC, TSENS = 1.04, DISC = 1.45, and PMV = 1.03. As many as 92% of respondents in the Ulul Albab mosque can accept local thermal conditions in the temperature range of 27oC - 31oC. While 90% of respondents in the Nurul Ilmi mosque can accept local thermal conditions in the temperature range of 27oC-32oC. The results of the neutrality, acceptance and preference analysis show that the Ulul Albab mosque is better than the Nurul Ilmi mosque.

Abstract

Abstract: The Al Haddad mosque is the first Jamie mosque in Pamanukan Subang, Al Haddad mosque is a mosque that is often used by Muslims in Pamanukan carrying out worship, especially Friday payers, during the coronavirus pandemic 2019 (Covid19)it was still crowded with worshipers. The purpose of this study was to determine th effect of visitor behaviour on personal space at the Al Haddad Pamanukan mosque during the covid 19 pandemics. The research method uses a quantitative research method, with the theoretical basis used is the theory of visitor behaviour and the theory of personal space.Abstrak: Masjid Al Haddad adalah masjid Jamie pertama di pamanukan subang, Masjid al haddad adalah masjid yang sering dipakai oleh umat muslim di pamanukan dalam menjalankan ibadah khususnya ibadah sholat jum’at, pada masa pandemi Corona Virus 2019 (Covid 19) pun masih ramai dikunjungi para jamaahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan mengetahui dampak perilaku pengunjung terhadap personal space di masjid al haddad pamanukan pada masa pandemic covid 19. Dari masalah yang ada tersebut, maka hipotesis berdasarkan penelitian ini merupakan pengaruh positif personal space terhadap perilaku pengunjung Masjid Alhaddad pada saat masa pandemic Covid 19 .Metode penelitian yang dipakai merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan  landasan teori yang digunakan merupakan teori perilaku pengunjung dan teori personal space. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis dengan statistic inferensial.
