Abstract

ABSTRAK Courtyard merupakan komponen bangunan sejak lampau yang memiliki fungsi sebagai elemen estetika di dalam bangunan juga berperan dalam usaha menciptakan sistem pengkondisian udara dan pencahayaan alami. Sebagai bukaan tentunya penetrasi radiasi matahari langsung ke dalam bangunan tidak dapat di hindari akan tetapi dengan bentuk struktur yang khas dari courtyard ditambah dengan ketersediaan elemen vegetasi akan membentuk bidang-bidang bayangan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemaparan hasil penelitian mengenai sejauh mana peranan pembayangan pada courtyard dalam mereduksi peningkatan suhu permukaan akibat dari penetrasi radiasi matahari. Metode yang digunakan pada penilitan ini adalah analisis secara kualitatif terhadap data kuantitatif hasil observasi dan pengukuran langsung terhadap obyek studi. Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa variasi bidang pembayangan dan durasi pembayangan pada area courtyard gedung Widya Puraya Universitas Diponego dapat mengendalikan peningkatan suhu permukaan yang dipengaruhi oleh durasi puncak peningkatan suhu permukaan. Abstract

Acoustic comfort is one of four types of comforts in a room. Acoustic comfort allows users of worship spaces to be more focused and solemn in worshipping. One indicator that indicates the optimality of acoustic comfort is the level of clarity of sound articulation. The level of sound articulation in the worship space of the Palihan Javanese Christian Church is considered unclear, so it can be concluded if there is excessive reverberation time in the worship room. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the ideal reverberation time in the worship room of the Palihan Javanese Christian Church. The research was conducted using quantitative research methods. The improvement of reverberation time in this research is done by identifying the materials that are used in the worship room of the Palihan Javanese Christian Church at a frequency of 500Hz and 1000Hz using Sabine's reverberation time theory. From this research, it can be concluded that the replacement of some reflector materials with diffuser and absorber materials can reduce the excess reverberation time in the worship room of the Palihan Javanese Christian Church. Abstract

The construction of the New Yogyakarta International Airport required Palihan Javanese Christian Church to be relocated. Although it has been relocated, the new location of Palihan Javanese Christian Church remains very close to New Yogyakarta International Airport. The design of worship space at Palihan Javanese Christian Church then becomes a big challenge. Noise is one of the most challenging aspects for the success of the space design. Research on noise in the worship room of Palihan Javanese Christian Church was conducted to find out how much noise that enters the worship room of Palihan Javanese Christian Church and its causes, so that the design of the worship room of Palihan Javanese Christian Church can be evaluated to be better. The research was conducted by measuring noise in the worship room using a Sound Level Meter and by identifying the design of the worship room of Palihan Javanese Christian Church. From the research that has been done, noise that occurs in the worship room of Palihan Javanese Christian Church still exceeds the acceptable noise level for worship space.

Abstract

Green roofs are generally applied to concrete roofed buildings. This study compares the thermal performance of green roofs that occur in corrugated concrete and zinc to expand green roof innovation. The study experimented on a method using the 2011 Ecotect computer simulation. The results showed that the difference in temperature reduction in corrugated zinc was higher than in concrete. Changes in heat outside the roof space on both have a number that has a relatively small difference, but the difference in heat is visible in the inner space. Based on the thermal performance of the roof, the use of corrugated zinc roofs as the base of the green roof in the building could be an alternative green roof material besides concrete.

Abstract

Kenyamanan termal merupakan salah satu aspek krusial dalam desain ruang terbuka, terutama di wilayah berklim tropis lembab seperti Kota Semarang. Kenyamanan termal saat ini sulit didapatkan manusia saat berada di ruang luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kenyamanan termal dengan dilakukannya pengoptimalan desain ruang terbuka di Taman Alumni Departemen Arsitektur, Universitas Diponegoro. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif melalui observasi lapangan, analisis elemen-elemen desain yang mempengaruhi kenyamanan termal seperti vegetasi, elemen air, material, dan orentiasi taman, serta faktor-faktor kenyamanan termal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil pengukuran dan analisis data berupa penggunaan elemen vegetasi sebagai peneduh alami, elemen air berfungsi menurunkan suhu, material dengan albedo tinggi dan orientasi untuk mendapatkan pergerakan angin yang optimal. Hal-hal tersebut memberikan kesimpulan bahwa Pada Taman Alumni ini belum mendapatkan kenyamanan termal yang sesuai dengan standar Lippsmeier. Hal ini dikarenakan kurang optimalnya pada desain ruang terbuka, yaitu kurangnya elemen desain berupa air. Dengan adanya elemen air, temperatur atau suhu dalam taman tersebut akan mendapatkan efek pendinginan atau pengurangan suhu. Pengurangan suhu ini akan membantu meningkatkan kenyamanan termal di taman.Thermal comfort is one of the crucial aspects in open space design, especially in humid tropical climates like Semarang City. Thermal comfort is currently difficult for humans to obtain when in outdoor spaces. This study aims to analyze the level of thermal comfort with the optimization of open space design in the Alumni Park of the Department of Architecture, Diponegoro University. The method used is a quantitative method through field observations, analysis of design elements that affect thermal comfort such as vegetation, water elements, materials, and garden orentiation, as well as thermal comfort factors. The results showed the results of measurements and data analysis in the form of the use of vegetation elements as a natural shade, water elements serve to reduce temperature, materials with high albedo and orientation to get optimal wind movement. These things lead to the conclusion that the Alumni Park has not gotten thermal comfort in accordance with Lippsmeier standards. This is due to the less than optimal design of open space, namely the lack of design elements in the form of water. With the water element, the temperature or temperature in the park will get a cooling effect or temperature reduction. This temperature reduction will help improve thermal comfort in the park.
