Abstract

This research aims to study the model of developing a village tourism initiative to map the Tengger tribe's characteristic village tourism in the hinterland of Mount Bromo Pasuruan as an effort to achieve sustainable tourism goals. The Tosari sub-district as the hinterland of Bromo Pasuruan has rich natural and cultural potential of the Tengger tribe, which is still strongly preserved and cultivated in its customs and culture, has great potential for tourism development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an explanatory research approach based on community-based tourism. This study shows that one of the development strategy models that can be used to optimize the potential of village tourism in the (hinterland) supporting area of ​​the Mount Bromo National Park in Tosari sub-district is by implementing the pentahelix model with a community-based tourism approach. The results of this study have found a development model by integrating indigenous local Tengger culture with natural and cultural potential of the Tengger tribe, which is then integrated with each element in the pentahelix strategy, so it is found that the hinterland area of ​​Bromo Pasuruan as edu cultural Tourism. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji model pengembangan rintisan desa wisata untuk melakukan model pemetaan desa wisata khas suku Tengger di kawasan hinterland gunung Bromo Pasuruan sebagai upaya dalam mencapai tujuan suistanable tourism. Kecamatan Tosari sebagai kawasan Hinterland Bromo Pasuruan memiliki potensi alam yang kaya dan potensi budaya suku Tengger yang masih dengan kental dijaga dan dilestarikan adat dan budayanya, memiliki potensi besar bagi pengembangan pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deksriptif dengan pendekatan explanatori Penelitian berbasis comunity based tourism. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa salah satu model strategi pengembangan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi desa wisata di kawasan (Hinterland) penyangga wisata Gunung Bromo kecamatan Tosari adalah dengan mengimplementasikan model pentahelix dengan pendekatan community based tourism. Hasil dai penelitian ini telah ditemukan model pengembangan dengan mengintegrasikan indigenous local tengger culture dengan potensi alam dan potensi budaya suku tengger yang kemudian diintegrasikan dengan tiap elemen pada strategi pentahelix sehingga ditemukan bahwasanya kawasan hinterland Bromo Pasuruan sebagai edu cultural tourism.

Abstract

Suole MSME is a catfish floss producer committed to enhancing product quality through the implementation of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system.  Implementation is carried out by development and verification of the production process flow diagram, hazard identification, determination of Critical Control Points (CCPs), and establishment of critical limits. This community service activity aimed to provide knowledge and assistance in HACCP implementation to enhance food safety, product quality, and competitiveness. The activity was conducted from October to December 2024 at UMKM Suole, and included interviews, field observations, and HACCP assistance and analysis. The results show that the catfish floss production process involves several critical stages that require monitoring, such as raw material reception, meat separation, frying, and packaging. Hazard identification and determination of Critical Control Points (CCPs) have been carried out to prevent biological, chemical, and physical contamination. The importance of developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining sanitation, and controlling processing time and temperature was emphasized. Improving the understanding of HACCP among MSME actors is a key factor in effective hazard control and achieving food safety.Keywords: catfish floss; food safety; HACCP; hazard Abstrak: UMKM Suole merupakan salah satu produsen abon lele yang berupaya meningkatkan kualitas produk melalui penerapan Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). Penerapan dilakukan dengan penyusunan dan verifikasi diagram alir proses produksi abon lele, identifikasi bahaya, serta penetapan CCP dan batas kritis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan dan pendampingan penerapan HACCP guna meningkatkan keamanan pangan, mutu, dan daya saing produk. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Oktober hingga Desember 2024 di UMKM Suole, meliputi wawancara, observasi lapangan, serta pendampingan dan analisis HACCP. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi abon lele mencakup beberapa tahap penting yang memerlukan pengawasan, seperti penerimaan bahan baku, pemisahan daging, penggorengan, dan pengemasan. Telah dilakukan identifikasi bahaya dan penetapan titik kendali kritis (CCP) untuk mencegah kontaminasi biologis, kimia, dan fisik. Selain itu, ditekankan pentingnya penyusunan SOP, sanitasi, serta pengendalian suhu dan waktu proses. Peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap HACCP menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengendalian bahaya dan pencapaian keamanan pangan produk.Kata kunci: abon lele; bahaya; HACCP; keamanan pangan

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sebagai strategi community relations dalam upaya konservasi lingkungan yang dilaksanakan oleh PT. Tirta Investama Pandaan (Danone-Aqua) di wilayah Prigen, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Program CSR ini mengadopsi pendekatan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat dengan model agroforestri kopi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika hubungan antara perusahaan dan masyarakat, termasuk tantangan sosial seperti resistensi terhadap program, serta strategi komunikasi yang digunakan perusahaan untuk membangun kembali kepercayaan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara perusahaan dan masyarakat tidak selalu berjalan mulus, terutama pada tahap awal implementasi. Namun, melalui transformasi strategi komunikasi yang lebih dialogis dan partisipatif, perusahaan berhasil membangun hubungan yang lebih setara, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Program CSR ini tidak hanya memperkuat citra dan legitimasi sosial perusahaan, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal, pelestarian lingkungan, dan penguatan jejaring kemitraan multipihak. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi bahwa keberhasilan community relations dalam konteks CSR sangat bergantung pada sensitivitas terhadap konteks sosial lokal, kemampuan untuk membangun komunikasi lintas aktor, serta komitmen jangka panjang terhadap keberlanjutan hubungan sosial dan ekologis. This study examines the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs as a community relations strategy in environmental conservation efforts conducted by PT. Tirta Investama Pandaan (Danone-Aqua) in the Prigen area, Pasuruan Regency. The CSR program is implemented through a community-based participatory approach using a coffee agroforestry model. This research employs a qualitative case study approach to explore the dynamics of the relationship between the company and the community, including social challenges such as resistance to the program, and how communication strategies are employed to rebuild trust within the community. The findings indicate that the relationship between the company and the community was not always smooth, especially in the early stages of implementation. However, through a transformation to more dialogic and participatory communication strategies, the company successfully established a more equal, collaborative, and sustainable relationship. This CSR program not only strengthens the company’s image and social legitimacy but also contributes to local economic empowerment, environmental preservation, and the strengthening of multi-stakeholder partnerships. The findings highlight that effective community relations in the context of CSR require sensitivity to local social contexts, the ability to build cross-actor communication, and a long-term commitment to the sustainability of social and ecological relations.
