Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of digitalization in enhancing economic and financial inclusion in South Papua by examining digital infrastructure conditions, the utilization of technology-based financial services, impacts on local businesses, socio-cultural influences, and links to regional socioeconomic indicators. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews with policymakers, financial service providers, community leaders, business actors, and both users and non-users of digital services. Secondary data from the 2025 South Papua Statistics Agency (BPS) supported the analysis. Findings reveal uneven telecommunications infrastructure, with only 6.96% of villages having very strong signals and 13.77% lacking signal access. Adoption of digital financial services, including mobile banking and e-wallets, remains limited in rural areas due to poor connectivity, low device ownership, and inadequate digital literacy. However, businesses adopting digital platforms reported revenue increases of 20–30% through market expansion. Socio-cultural factors influence technology acceptance, with younger generations adapting more readily. The study concludes that improved connectivity positively correlates with financial inclusion and human development, recommending infrastructure expansion, internet subsidies, community-based digital literacy programs, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies has transformed education in ways that extend beyond technical innovation, reshaping pedagogical practices, governance structures, and the production of knowledge. However, digital education is still predominantly conceptualised through instrumental and technocratic frameworks that prioritise efficiency and performance while neglecting issues of power, justice, and social transformation. This article aims to reconceptualise digital education as a social and political space by developing a critical–transformational paradigm grounded in contemporary educational theory. Employing a qualitative critical literature review, this study analyses and synthesises scholarly works published between 2020 and 2025 that address digital education, critical pedagogy, platformisation, and digital justice. Through critical reading, thematic coding, and conceptual synthesis, the analysis identifies three dominant constructions of digital education: the instrumental-technological, the pedagogical ecosystem, and the socio-political space. The findings reveal that while instrumental and ecosystem approaches contribute to operational understanding, they remain insufficient to address the structural inequalities and power relations embedded in digital education. The study proposes a critical–transformational paradigm that integrates ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions, positioning digital education as a value-laden practice oriented toward justice, agency, and social change. This paradigm contributes to theoretical development in digital education and offers a reflective foundation for policies and practices that prioritise pedagogical autonomy, digital justice, and democratic participation.

Abstract

Ultisols are characterized by strong acidity, low cation exchange capacity, and high phosphate fixation, which limit nutrient availability and crop productivity. Sustainable fertilization strategies are needed to improve soil quality and reduce dependence on inorganic inputs. A pot experiment was conducted from January to August 2025 using a randomized complete block design with nine treatments and three replications (270 plants). Treatments included combinations of 50% NPK fertilizer with liquid organic fertilizers (LOFs) derived from goat urine, rabbit urine, banana peels, and pineapple peels. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by orthogonal comparison tests. The combined application of LOFs with 50% NPK significantly increased biomass, bulb yield, soil CEC, organic C, total N, available K, and plant N and K uptake (p < 0.01) compared to 100% NPK. Yield increased by 27.7%, while N and K uptake rose by 63.0% and 65.0%, respectively. Rabbit urine LOF showed the highest effectiveness, improving yield by up to 36.0% compared to goat urine. Plant-based LOFs enhanced soil organic C, CEC, and K availability, whereas animal-based LOFs were more effective in increasing soil N. The integration of LOFs with reduced NPK improves soil fertility and shallot productivity under controlled conditions. Rabbit urine LOF at 300 mL L⁻¹ is the most effective treatment. However, field validation is required before large-scale application.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the disclosure of the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022-2023 period. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data was obtained from the annual financial statements of 28 companies using the purposive sampling method. The results showed that solvency had a significant negative effect on financial performance, while liquidity and activity had no significant effect. The study highlights the importance of transparency in the disclosure of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and adds company size as a control variable for a more comprehensive analysis. These findings provide valuable insights for investors and company management in making investment decisions and improving financial strategies. With this update and increase in transparency, it is hoped that the company's financial performance can be better and can increase investor confidence in the mining sector. This research is expected to increase accountability and transparency of financial information in the mining sector.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnant women and Women of Reproductive Age remains a significant health problem in West Java Province. The prevalence of hypertension among pregnant women in West Java is approximately 10.57%, higher than the national rate of 6.18%, while the prevalence among WRA ranges from 25% to 30%. This study employed a pretest–posttest design with health counseling provided to 25 pregnant women and Women of Reproductive Age in RW 05, Kertamaya Subdistrict, Bogor City. Data were collected using knowledge and attitude questionnaires before and after the counseling and analyzed using the Paired Sample T-test. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ average knowledge and attitude scores after the educational intervention (p < 0.05). Based on the Paired T-test, the intervention yielded a p-value of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant improvement in both knowledge and attitudes. These findings demonstrate that health education is effective in increasing knowledge and fostering positive attitudes regarding hypertension among pregnant women and Women of Reproductive Age.
