Resusitasi Jantung Paru (RJP) adalah upaya penyelamatan jiwa oleh seseorang dalam situasi darurat. Namun, pengetahuan dan sikap generasi muda terhadap RJP masih terbatas. Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan RJP melalui pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian bertujuan mengukur dampak pendidikan kesehatan RJP berbasis AR terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Jambi. Desain penelitian pra-eksperimental dengan metode One Group Pre-Test-Post Test digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel terdiri dari 40 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster sampling, dan intervensi yang berupa pendidikan kesehatan berbasis AR mengenai RJP dilaksanakan pada 19 Maret hingga 18 April 2025 di SMA Negeri 1 Jambi. Analisa data menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar siswa memiliki pengetahuan terbatas (90%) dan sikap cukup baik (97,5%). Setelah intervensi, pengetahuan meningkat dengan 72,5% siswa berada pada kategori baik, dan sikap meningkat dengan 82,5% siswa berada pada kategori baik. Uji statistik menunjukkan p-value 0,05 untuk pengetahuan dan sikap. Nilai Cohen's d untuk pengetahuan adalah 3,114 (ukuran efek besar) dan untuk sikap adalah 2,893 (ukuran efek besar). Kesimpulannya, pendidikan kesehatan berbasis AR mengenai RJP terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Jambi, dengan teknologi AR memfasilitasi pemahaman dan daya ingat langkah-langkah RJP.

Tersedak merupakan keadaan darurat yang paling sering terjadi karena makanan tanpa mengenal usia maupun jenis kelamin. Kerusakan otak bahkan kematian dapat terjadi apabila kondisi tersedak tidak segera teratasi. Ketepatan dalam melakukan pertolongan didasari dengan pengetahuan dan sikap yang memadai. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menganalisis efek pemberian video edukasi penanganan pertama kegawatdaruratan tersedak terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap pengunjung restoran siap saji. Desain kuantitatif quasi-experimental dengan rancangan pre-test dan post-test without control group digunakan. Jumlah sampel terpilih sebanyak 100 orang yang terbagi menjadi kelompok intervensi Video Edukasi Kegawatdaruratan Tersedak (Vegat) secara langsung dan kelompok intervensi melalui WhatsApp berjumlah masing-masing 50 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap. Data kemudian dianalisa menggunakan paired, dependent, dan independent t-test. Hasil menunjukkan baik intervensi video Vegat secara langsung maupun melalui WhatsApp efektif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan pengunjung restoran siap saji (p-value = 0.000). Pemberian video Vegat secara langsung maupun melalui WhatssApp juga memiliki efek signifikan terhadap sikap pengunjung (p-value = 0.000). Sementara itu, tidak ada perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan antar kelompok terkait pengetahuan (p=0.268) dan sikap (p=0.280) responden. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membandingkan efektivitas pemberian video Vegat melalui metode pelatihan lain seperti simulasi praktik atau aplikasi mobile, serta melibatkan populasi yang lebih beragam, termasuk anak-anak dan lansia.

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, including in Indonesia. Type II Diabetes Mellitus is an important risk factor because it increases the likelihood of cardiovascular events by 2–4 times through mechanisms such as chronic hyperglycemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, and endothelial dysfunction. Risk assessment using the Framingham Risk Score (FRS) is essential, as it can estimate the 10-year risk of CHD based on age, blood pressure, lipid profile, smoking status, and the presence of diabetes. The increase in DM cases at Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi from 92 in 2023 to 125 in 2024 highlights the need for early cardiovascular risk detection. This study aimed to describe CHD risk in Type II DM patients using the FRS through a descriptive quantitative design involving 62 respondents. The results showed that 46 respondents (74.2%) were in the low-risk category, emphasizing that the FRS is useful in supporting clinical decision-making and planning preventive interventions for diabetic patients.

Patient satisfaction is an essential indicator in evaluating the quality of nursing services in the Emergency Department (ED). Service quality can be assessed by comparing patients’ expectations and perceptions using the SERVQUAL instrument through gap analysis; the smaller the gap, the better the perceived quality of care. This study aimed to analyze patient satisfaction based on the difference between expectation and perception scores of nursing services at the Emergency Department of Setia Budi Rimbo Bujang Hospital. This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design involving 101 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using a SERVQUAL questionnaire covering five dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results revealed negative gaps across all dimensions, with the largest gaps in responsiveness and empathy and the smallest in tangible. These findings indicate the need to improve service quality, particularly in nurses’ responsiveness and empathy.

Background : Diarrhea is still the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the world. According to data from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 diarrhea is the second leading cause of death in children under five. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between mother's education level, occupation, income, mother's knowledge, and latrine ownership with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Bram Itam Kiri Village.Methods : Using a cross sectional approach with a population of 166 mothers, the number of samples was 68 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet and analyzed univariate and bivariate using chi square analysis.Results : The level of education in the low category is 48.5%, employment in the unemployed category is 58.9%, income in the low category is 70.6%, knowledge in the poor category is 83.8%, latrine ownership in the category does not meet terms of 61.8%. Bivariate results of education level (0.003), mother's occupation (1,000), family income (0.019), knowledge (0.028), and latrine ownership (0.002) with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five.Conclusion : There is a relationship between the level of education, family income, knowledge, and ownership of latrines, and there is no relationship between the mother's occupation and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five.

Background: Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) have distinctive educational settings, yet emergency preparedness education remains limited by conventional learning methods. Objective: This study aimed to develop and validate a three-dimensional (3D) hologram-based learning media on school safety zones and first aid for students in Islamic boarding schools. Methods: This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, consisting of the Define, Design, and Develop stages. Validation was conducted by two material experts and two media experts using standardized assessment instruments covering aspects of content accuracy, visual quality, and practicality. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the feasibility level of the developed media. Results: Validation by material experts yielded an average score of 93.33%, while media experts obtained 92.94%, both categorized as very feasible. These findings indicate that the 3D hologram-based learning media meets both substance and technical standards required for preparedness and first-aid education. Conclusion: The developed 3D hologram-based learning media was declared very feasible based on expert validation, making it a valid and appropriate educational tool for future implementation in nursing and health education programs.

Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease that continues to increase and requires long-term management through the implementation of four pillars of care: education, medical nutrition therapy, physical activity, and pharmacological therapy. The successful implementation of these pillars is influenced not only by clinical factors but also by patients’ perceptions of the disease and its management. This study aimed to determine the relationship between patients’ perceptions and the implementation of the four pillars in the management of diabetes mellitus at the Simpang IV Sipin Community Health Center. This was a quantitative study with a correlational analytic design using a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 250 patients, with 78 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most respondents had good perceptions (51.3%) and good implementation of the four pillars (70.5%). A positive and significant relationship was found between patients’ perceptions and the implementation of the four pillars (r = 0.607; p = 0.000). Healthcare providers are recommended to enhance perception-based education to support optimal diabetes management.

Background: The Emergency Department (ED) plays a strategic role as the frontline in managing life-threatening emergency cases. The success of this management heavily depends on the effectiveness of teamwork through interprofessional collaboration among physicians, nurses, and midwives. This study aims to describe teamwork in the management of emergency cases at the ED of RSUD H. Abdul Manap, Jambi City Methods: This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a total sampling technique involving all 34 healthcare professionals in the ED of RSUD H. Abdul Manap, Jambi City (6 physicians, 17 nurses, and 11 midwives). Data were collected using a questionnaire measuring four main components of teamwork and role clarity, which had been tested for validity (r calculated > r table 0.361) and reliability (Cronbach's Alpha 0.967), and subsequently analyzed using univariate analysis. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents were female (64.7%), in the 30–39 age group (73.5%), worked as nurses (50%), and had a length of service > 3 years (58.8%). All respondents (100%) perceived the role clarity of physicians, nurses, and midwives to be in the good category. Meanwhile, regarding the overall teamwork variable, 31 respondents (91.2%) rated it in the good category, and 3 respondents (8.8%) rated it in the fair category. Conclusion: All respondents rated the role clarity of physicians, nurses, and midwives as excellent, and teamwork in handling emergency cases was generally perceived as good. The hospital is recommended to maintain these achievements by strengthening open two-way communication and the active contribution of all professions in the ED.
