Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of augmented reality implementation in improving students learning outcomes in the Fiber Optics material of the Wide Area Network Technology subject. This research empolys an experimental method with a Pre-Experimental Design. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa and the research subjects were 29 students from class XI TKJ B. The processed data in this research include the pretest and posttest results of the students. The average score obtained in the pretest, conducted without augmented reality media ware 46.03, while the posttest results for learning using augmented reality media were 67.75. The research results indicate a significant value or sig based on the data analysis using an independent sample t-test on the learning outcomes scores. (2-tailed) of 0.000 was obtained. According to the hypothesis and decision making criteria, if the sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, then is accepted, and is rejected. Conversely, if the sig. (2-tailed) value >0.05, then is rejected, and is accepted. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that (there is no significant difference between the learning outcomes of students without implementing media and the learning outcomes of students using augmented reality-based learning media) is rejected, and (there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students without implementing media and the learning outcomes of students using augmented reality-based learning media) is accepted. In conclusion, implementing augmented reality-based learning media influences improving students learning outcomes in the Fiber Optics material at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi augmented reality dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi fiber optik mata pelajaran Teknologi Jaringan Berbasis Luas (WAN). Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan jenis Pre-Eksperimen-Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas XI TKJ B yang berjumlah 29 orang. Data yang diolah dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil belajar pretest dan posttest peserta didik. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada pretest yakni pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran augmented reality sebesar 46,03 sedangkan hasil belajar posttest pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran aungmented reality sebesar 67,75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji independen sampel t-test pada skor hasil belajar diperoleh signifikan atau sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, dimana menurut hipotesis dan dasar pengambilan keputusan jika nilai sig.(2-tailed)<0,05 maka diterima dan ditolak dan jika nilai sig. (2-tailed) > 0,05, maka ditolak dan diterima. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa (tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa tanpa menerapkan media dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality) ditolak dan (ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa tanpa menerapkan media dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapakan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality) diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi fiber optik di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa.

Abstract

The level of students' interest in the concept of sorting algorithms is still low, mostly due to the use of traditional teaching methods by teachers, where students are less engaged in the active learning process. This method is often ineffective in helping students understand the concept of sorting algorithms comprehensively. Therefore, this study aims to rectify this situation by using project-based learning methods, which are expected to enhance students' comprehension. In this study, a pre-experimental study was conducted using a one-group pretest-posttest design to assess the impact of implementing the new method. The study's results demonstrate a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, as seen by the disparity in scores between the pretest and posttest. On average increase of 14.167 and (Sig.) 0.000, with a value lower than 0.05, these data indicate that the project-based learning method successfully improves students' understanding of sorting algorithms significantly. ABSTRAK Tingkat ketertarikan Siswa terhadap konsep algoritma pengurutan masih rendah, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh penggunan metode pengajaran yang bersifat konvensional oleh guru, di mana siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses belajar aktif. Metode ini sering kali tidak efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep algoritma pengurutan secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, adapun tujuannya guna memperbaiki situasi ini dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran project based learning yang mampu memberikan pemahaman lebih kepada siswa. Dilakukannya studi pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group – pretest posttest pada penelitian ini guna menilai dampak penerapan metode baru tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan adanya peningkatan yang tinggi dalam hasil belajar Siswa, yang terlihat dari perbedaan skor antara pretest dan posttest. Dengan nilai rata-rata peningkatan 14,167 dengan (Sig.) 0,000 yang berada < 0,05, hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwasanya model pembelajaran project based leaerning berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman Siswa tentang algoritma pengurutan secara signifikan.

Abstract

Saat ini Penjadwalan di BPSDM masih menggunakan sistem manual, dan widyaiswara kesulitan mendapatkan informasi dan jadwal widyaiswara yang sering tidak sesuai serta informasi di dapat melalui sms, belum lagi jika yang bersangkutan belum dapat hadir atau berada diluar daerah. Penjadwalan untuk widyaiswara merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting dalam proses kelancaran selesainya diklat para pegawai negeri sipil. Melihat permasalahan di atas maka diperlukan suatu sistem untuk mengatur penjadwalan diklat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem penjadwalan pendidikan dan pelatihan bidang struktural di BPSDM Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode pengembangan sistem yang dilakukan adalah Prototype. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sistem ini mempermudah proses penjadwalan diklat serta mempermudah proses pencarian jadwal diklat.Kata Kunci: Penjadwalan Diklat; Prototype; Web

Abstract

Limited information is sometimes a problem faced due to the publication of service is only from friends or relatives. Service vendors also have constraints in terms of promotion so that not all people know about vendor information that provides IT services. Preliminary research conducted on 25 respondents regarding IT services in Gorontalo District and Gorontalo City reveals 75% of respondents choose IT service that are often used, such as mobile service, and 64% laptop service. However, the problem is that 64% of respondents state that it is difficult to get information about IT service in Gorontalo District and Gorontalo City. This research aims to build an interactive IT service marketplace application that can help interaction between customers and service vendors. The system development method used is the Prototype method by using the PHP programming languge and the MySQL database. The result of this research is to make customers (user) easier to find information on service vendors, types of services provided, price details, vendor portofolios in the form of images and videos, location in the form of google maps, and to assist service vendors in promoting their services.Keywords: Marketplace, IT Service, Prototype

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of the times the need for data as well as accurate, fast, and informative information is very much needed, Gorontalo District Finance Agency was not spared from similar data requests. Presenting data in the old-fashioned way often degrades the quality of financial statements in accordance with Government Accounting Standards (GAS). This requires the agency that manages, monitors the budget and also the entrepreneurs of Gorontalo Regency to present data that is in line with current needs while maintaining existing standards. The purpose of this study is to apply the prototype method to collect the needs of the presentation of financial statements which are then made in a rapid design and implementation of the system, to submit it to the Financial Board in order to get feedback as testing material in order to produce a good system and in accordance with needs. The results of this study are the Budgeting and Monitoring Monitoring Information System using the prototype method, which is applied to the PHP programming language and MySQL storage, this application is expected to facilitate the Financial Agency in presenting financial reports that are not only accurate and fast but also more informative so that easy to understand.Keywords: Information Systems, Finance, Prototype, PHP, MySQL

Abstract

Environmental And Natural Resource Agency remains experiencing a problem related to waste hauling from Temporary Waste Disposal Site (TPS) To Final Disposal Site (TPA). In addition, people living nearby the site complain about certain things such as workers cross by the garbage dump with piling up waste, workers haul the waste at an irregular time as determined, and workers take the wrong route incidentally based on their own reason. Objective of this research was to create a web-based apps system which could monitor trash hauling from Temporary Waste Disposal Site (TPS) to Final Disposal Site (TPA) in area of Limboto Sub-district, Gorontalo District. It was designed by applying prototype system development method. Result of research showed that the created waste Collection Vehicle Monitoring Information System in Gorontalo District could optimize search process for garbage dump provided by gorontalo district government.

Abstract

Currently, the consumption demand for eggs is always higher than the level of egg production, but there are are still few markets that provide marketing service for the sale of farming products such as eggs. In addition, chicken egg stcok itself is difficult to find manually and  has impact on its relatively high price. This study aims to build a web portal for chiken egg marketing, especially  chicken  farmers in Pilohayanga village, in terms of marketing web-based chicken egg to support business activites and MySQL databases. The finding indicates that the application off the chiken egg marketing system by using  a web application can simplify the process of marketing  or purchasing chicken eggs online.

Abstract

Field practice program for SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa remains to contain obstacle particularly related to is difficulty in monitoring student's activity during the program in a predetermined location. Students who fill out their attendance list on their own may lead to dishonesty by falsifying their presence through compromising it with other students who attend in the field practice location. Objective of this research was to develop a web-based field practice monitoring system at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa to facilitate person in charge and teacher as advisor of field practice. A system development method used in this   research was Waterfall by applying PHP programming language and MySQL database. Result of this research indicated that the system developed could assist both the person in charge and the advisor of field practice in monitoring daily activity and attendance of students in the location of program. In addition, the student's attendance registration was performed by office advisor so that the students could not fake it. Therefore, the system has made information access to the field practice easier.

Abstract

Teacher performance assessment is the assessment of each item of activities of teacher's main tasks for the purposes of career, rank, and position development. School accreditation is a systematic and comprehensive assessment for school through self-evaluation and external evaluation (visitation) in order to determine the feasibility and performance of the school. The observation results revealed that the school and teacher performance assessment records were still in the form of archive documents, which were less effective and accurate. Meanwhile, the data storage also used manual system. Therefore, based on the aforementioned problem, this research aimed to design an information system at the Education Board of Gorontalo Regency. System development employed waterfall method, a classical method with systematic and sequential model in terms of software development. The method consisted of five stages, namely : 1) analysis, 2) system design, 3) system implementation, 4) system testing, 5) system maintenance, and also used PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results showed that this application was dependable in assisting the school and the accessor in terms of assessing the performance of teacher and school, respectively.

Abstract

SMKN 1 Suwawa is one of the vocational hight schools which locates in Bone Bolango District with the total number of students is 480. In one day observation at the school, there Were many students who did truant during the class hour. The action has been frequently an issue between teachers and parents. Student's parents found out that their children have been Actively engaged in the theaching and learning process. That is what they expect while the students did the country. The research is aimed at facilitating the school to inform the  Parents regarding the absence of their children in the class. Student's absence is a form of indicipline action to be decreased at school. System development applies the prototype Method through the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The research finding Revealed that SMS gateway based monitoring system by parents on student attendance is Addressed to facilitate the school to inform student's parents related to student attendance.  The system displays data of student attendance both in each class and as a whole.
