Abstract

Stress is a condition that affects emotions, thought processes and individual conditions. When an employee faces stressed, it will be able to interfere with the individual's ability to deal with the surrounding environment and it’s work. There are a number of working conditions that often cause stress for employees, including excessive workload, pressure or time pressure, poor quality of supervision, unsafe climate, insufficient feedback on work performance, ambiguity of roles, frustration, conflict b between groups, interpersonal conflict, differences between company and employee values. Job stress cannot be ignored because it can interfere health, but this can be prevented or anticipated through time management training to reduce stress. Time management is a skill related to all the efforts and actions of an employee that are carried out in a well planned, so that the individual can use time effectively and efficiently. After training conducted, the results are able to reduce stress of PT. XYZ Palm Plantation’s employee, which is described in the evaluation response paper.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of the Family Planning Population Control Office, the determination of policies and programs in controlling the population growth rate in Medan City, besides that the author also wants to know the factors that prevent the Population and Family Planning Control Office from controlling growth residents in Medan City. The research technique used is a qualitative research method with interviews and observations. The research subject taking technique is using purposive and snowball techniques. From this technique, informants obtained, consisting of the Head of the Population and Family Planning Control Office, Head of the Family Planning Division, Head of Extension and Penggerak, Head of Resilience, Head of Population Control, Family Planning Field Extension, and the community who participated in the Family program. Planning or those who do not take part in the Family Planning program. Based on the research conducted, it was found several findings that the Office of Population and Family Planning Control has a role in suppressing population growth which includes coordination with government, community and private institutions in family planning activities, conducting family planning counseling, installing contraceptives and post-installation contraception. Obstacles in controlling population growth, namely the lack of skilled technical personnel, inadequate infrastructure, the influence of culture and the level of education of the community also become obstacles to DP2KB in carrying out their duties and functions.

Abstract

Status is a state or position (person, entity, etc.) to do with the public sekitar. UU 12 2006 that legislation governing citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia. Citizens are people as part of a population that is becoming an element of the state. Citizenship is a membership that shows the relationship between the citizen or bond with other residents. This research aims to determine the citizenship status of ethnic Chinese after the Law No. 12 of 2006 on Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia and the implementation of Law No. 12 of 2006 on ethnic Chinese. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods were implemented in the district of Medan Sunggal Medan. Data collection tool used in this study was the observation and dissemination angket. Jumlah population in this study were 285 households and the determined sample is 20% of the total population that is 57 families. After conducting research and data processing can be concluded after the birth or the Law No. 12 of 2006 on Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia ethnic Chinese community in the Village VII Environmental Lalang Sunggal district of Medan Medan city have Indonesian citizenship status.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Chinese Peoples Political Participation and the constraints faced by the Chinese community in Binjai city elections in 2010 in Kampung Tanjung District of Binjai City. The methodology used in this research is descriptive qualitative method is a way or method of describing the state of research in the field or object. Total population in this study were all heads of families Kampung Tanjung Binjai City District of the ethnic Chinese as many as 326 households. The sampling technique is by means of random sampling of 10% of the population. Then the sample in this study is 10% of the 326 households 32 households of ethnic Chinese are drawn randomly. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using descriptive analysis method, then analyzed using frequency tables. Based on the analysis of observation, questionnaires and interviews were then held a discussion on the research results obtained the conclusion that the Chinese community in Kampung Tanjung District of Binjai City has participated in the elections of Binjai in 2010. Thus it is clear these results support the hypothesis, which also means that the hypothesis acceptable.

Abstract

Meskipun pada dasarnya membuat seseorang untuk berpartisipasi itu tidaklah mudah, ada saja masyarakat yang enggan untuk berpartisipasi, padahal keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam mempengaruhi kebijakan pemerintah berdampak bagi masyarakat itu sendiri, apabila masyarakat menentukan kebijakan yang positif, yang didukung oleh pelaksanaan dan pengawasan yang baik, maka yang dihasilkan pun akan menjadi baik. Namun apabila masyarakat atau warga Negara memilih seorang pemimpin yang salah dalam artian pemimpin yang tidak jujur, maka yang dirugikan adalah masyarakat itu sendiri, jadi, pilihan itu sebenarnya ada ditangan masyarkat kita sendiri, jika memilih yang baik, maka hasilnya pun akan baik mengingat Indonesia adalah Negara Demokrasi yakni pemerintahan dari rakyat, oleh rakyat, dan untuk rakyat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa, surat kabar sebagai media penyampaian informasi politik memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap partisipasi politik masyarakat

Abstract

Tulisan ini membicarakan tentang latar belakang masuknya Ugamo Malim, Huta Tinggi sebagai pusat aktivitas ritual dan Aspek – aspek yang menyebabkannya dapat berkembang dan berpusat serta diterima masyarakat sekitar. Pusat aktivitas ritual Ugamo Malim di Huta Tinggi Laguboti Toba Samosir adalah sebuah amanah dari Sisingamangaraja XII kepada Raja Mulia Naipospos. Beliau berpesan agar pusat kegiatan Ugamo Malim kelak dibangun di tempat kelahiran Raja Mulia Naipospos yakni Huta Tinggi. Raja Mulia Naipospos diserahi tugas mempertahankan dan melanjutkan penyiaran Ugamo Malim untuk masa selanjutnya. Pemeluk Ugamo Malim saat ini berjumlah 1600 Kepala Keluarga yang tersebar di wilayah Indonesia seperti wilayah Kabupaten Simalungun, kepulauan Riau, Kabupaten Toba Samosir, Kabupaten Asahan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Kabupaten Samosir, Kotamadya  Jakarta Timur, Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, Kabupaten Batubara, Kabupaten Singkil, Kotamadya Medan, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dan Banten. Dalam perayaan Sipaha Sada pada bulan Maret dan Sipaha Lima pada bulan Juli maka ruas (pengikut) Parmalim yang berasal dari daerah tersebut diatas berkumpul di Huta Tinggi. Penganut Ugamo Malim berkumpul ke Huta Tinggi semenjak Huta Tinggi dijadikan pusat aktivitas ritual kepercayaan Parmalim yaitu tahun 1921 hingga saat ini.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the effect of nurse service quality on inpatient satisfaction at the Regional General Hospital Dr.R.M. Djoelham City of Binjai. Researchers using the theory of Tjiptono (2012) suggests that there are five dimensions of service quality (Physical Evidence, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy). This type of quantitative research uses design. A sample of 100 patients was taken using proportional random sampling technique. The analysis used validity and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha. Classical assumption test includes normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. To test the hypothesis using multiple linear regression. All tests used the SPSS computer program. From the results of the research conducted, physical evidence (3.052), reliability (2.271), responsiveness (3.694), assurance (3.049) and empathy (2.365) together have a positive and significant effect on inpatient satisfaction. And R2 of (0.699) indicates that it is 69.9%.

Abstract

The Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) is an assistance that is distributed non-cash from the government to Beneficiary Families (KPM) each month in the amount of Rp. 110,000/KPM through an electronic account mechanism in the form of a Prosperous Family Card (KKS) which aims to improve economic conditions. family. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the village government in the distribution of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in Simpang Empat Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency and to find out what factors became obstacles in the distribution of the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program in the village. Simpang Empat Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency. The method used by researchers in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program in Simpang Empat Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency has not gone well, this is because the population administration is still incomplete.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of religious tolerance of junior high school students. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The respondents amounted to 31 students. Data was collected through a questionnaire with 11 statements. Then the data were analyzed by means and percentage analysis. The results of the study show that tolerance is viewed from the aspect of peace, respect for differences and individuals, and awareness is in the very good or very tolerant categories. This is indicated by the average score for the three aspects located in the interval 3.75 - 5.00. This data indicates that students' religious tolerance is still well maintained so as to create harmonious relationships among students.

Abstract

Community service is one of the activities aimed at assisting the government in society and local governments in disseminating Law no. 32 of 2004 concerning Local Government in Hamdan Village, Medan Maimun District, Medan City. The lack of understanding of the people of Hamdan Village, Medan Maimun District in the success of Law No. 32 of 2004. The results of this dedication show that the socialization of Law Number 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government and development progress and the success of existing development, must be disseminated to the community. One example of the community can directly experience the construction of road facilities and infrastructure that have repaired, as well as several developments in flood management and environmental cleanliness. The participation of the community in determining public policy, the higher the level of democracy in the country. In regional autonomy it is necessary to involve as many citizens as possible in determining public policy at the regional level.
