Abstract

This research examines the potential for Indonesian agricultural exports to Thailand in the context of ASEAN trade. The analysis focuses on the comparative advantages of the two countries in key agricultural commodities such as rice, corn, sugar, palm oil and coffee. Production and export data for 2022 shows that Indonesia is ahead in palm oil and coffee production, while Thailand is dominant in rice and sugar exports. Abstract

In a country, the economy can be measured by the number of goods and services produced in one year. Rapid economic growth increases people's consumption in a country. Apart from carrying out its own production, as a form of global cooperation, a country also requires the role of other countries to meet the consumption needs of its people. This international trade is very profitable for producing and consuming countries. For this reason, Indonesia also establishes trade relations with fellow ASEAN members, such as Thailand. This article aims to identify Indonesia's international trade relations with Thailand as a member of the ASEAN countries. The discussion in this article focuses on the products exported by Indonesia to Thailand as well as the opportunities and threats that arise between Indonesia's international trade and Thailand. However, threats such as increasingly fierce competition, commodity price fluctuations and unstable trade policies also need to be taken seriously.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of women's leadership on implementing flexible work arrangements (FWA), with work-life balance (WLB) acting as a mediator, in the financial industry in West Java and Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 110 respondents working in various financial institutions and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that women’s leadership significantly and positively affects the adoption of FWA, primarily through its impact on employees' WLB. Women leaders are shown to have a deeper understanding of the importance of balancing work and personal life, which fosters the successful implementation of flexible work practices. This research contributes to the existing literature on women's leadership, work-life balance, and flexible work policies, particularly in the financial sector. From a practical standpoint, the results provide important insights for organizations aiming to develop leadership strategies and inclusive work policies that promote employee well-being and organizational effectiveness through better WLB and FWA practices.
