Abstract

Sensor MLX 90614 adalah sensor IR yang digunakan untuk mengukur suhu tanpa kontak. Sensor ini dapat mengukur suhu objek dan suhu lingkungan pada kisaran -40 oC – 125 oC. Sensor ini banyak digunakan di berbagai bidang seperti pengukuran suhu ruangan, suhu mesin, suhu lingkungan, dan suhu tubuh. Sensor MLX 90614 belum sepenuhnya dapat digunakan secara langsung untuk melakukan pengukuran suhu karena default program yang sederhana sehingga hasil pengukuran tidak akurat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan optimasi untuk meningkatkan nilai presisi pendugaan suhu internal tubuh menggunakan sensor ini. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 6 ekor domba percobaan. Pemeriksaan suhu dilakukan melalui termometer kontak dan dibandingkan dengan pemeriksaan non-kontak oleh sensor MLX 90614. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu rata-rata termometer kontak adalah 39,28±0,09 oC sedangkan hasil sensor MLX adalah 35,78±1,38 oC. Perbedaan suhu rata-rata adalah 3,5±1,48 oC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor koreksi perbedaan suhu perlu dimasukkan dalam kode skrip saat menjalankan sensor MLX 90614. Hasil pemeriksaan suhu oleh sensor dapat langsung dikirim secara real time ke platform ThingSpeak sehingga hasilnya dapat disimpan dan diakses di berbagai tempat dengan mudah. Penggunaan sensor MLX 90614 yang dipadukan dengan konsep IoT menggunakan ThingSpeak dapat mempermudah proses pemeriksaan suhu tubuh non-kontak, serta membuat data dapat diakses dan disimpan dengan mudah.

Abstract

The livelihood of the people of Cidogdog Hamlet, Wanasari Village is derived from animal husbandry from agriculture. However, raising livestock is a side job of the community because farmers have small-scale characteristics. Everyday farmers breed more rice fields than take care of cows. This is because, livestock are considered to be long-term savings not as the main source of income. This study aims to determine the factors of financial constraints and livestock livelihood adequacy strategies. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Abstract

Coffee is a superior commodity owned by Indonesia. One of the coffee producing areas in Central Java is in Pamriyan Village, Pituruh Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency with an area of 1009.75 ha. The high production of coffee produced is also followed by the high waste of coffee produced which is not currently utilized properly. On the other hand, the coffee rind has the potential as a food rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, anthocyanins, tannins, plavanols, 3-ol flavans, hydroxionic acids, and kafrin. This activity aims to provide an overview of the potential of resources that can be developed in Pamriyan Village and provide insight into the added value of coffee waste as well as entrepreneurial ideas to improve the economy of pamriyan villagers. The activity was carried out with material delivery and direct practice of making Coffee Skin Jam (SEKUPI). In this SEKUPI practice activity, it was obtained that almost all participants liked the taste, texture, and packaging of coffee skin jam and all participants agreed that this product was worth selling and developing. Analysis of the calculation of the cost of production was obtained that each manufacture of 10 bottles of SEKUPI will produce a profit of Rp 66,300,00. Furthermore, the calculation of R/C value is obtained a result of 1.203 which means that the business provides profits and is worth developing. Trainees are very happy with this training activity because it has added to their insights and gained new business opportunity ideas to develop in Pamriyan Village.

Abstract

Infeksi Haemonchus contortus atau haemonchosis umumnya terjadi pada ruminansia kecil seperti domba. Haemonchus contortus adalah spesies yang paling patogenik pada ruminansia kecil dan berhabitat di abomasum. Hewan yang terinfeksi Haemonchus contortus  secara berangsur-angsur akan mengalami anemia karena aktivitas cacing yang menghisap darah. Selain menimbulkan anemia, domba akan mengalami penurunan bobot badan akibat penurunan daya cerna. Infeksi tersebut dapat berjalan secara akut maupun kronis dan dalam kondisi tertentu dapat juga mengakibatkan kematian pada hewan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan perangkat yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengindentifikasi keberadaan telur cacing Haemonchus contortus sebagai alat deteksi cepat telur cacing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat perangkat cerdas berbasis Algoritma YOLOv3 yang mampu mendeteksi dan mengidentifikasi telur cacing Haemonchus contortus secara cepat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Algoritma You Only Look Once (YOLO) versi 3 yang merupakan algoritma yang dikembangkan untuk membantu mendeteksi objek secara realtime. Algoritma YOLO dijalankan dalam framework aplikasi anaconda dengan menggunakan pycharm dan aplikasi OPENCV. Identifikasi telur Haemonchus contortus secara otomatis berhasil dilakukan dengan proses tagging pada dataset dan membuat file weight training bagi YOLO. Hasil uji coba menggunakan mikroskop cahaya dan smartphone menunjukan bahwa bahwa Algoritma YOLO mampu mengidentifikasi telur Haemonchus contortus dengan nilai confidence lebih dari 90%. Penggunaan perangkat Dino-Lite yang terhubung pada mikroskop cahaya menunjukan algoritma YOLO tidak dapat berjalan karena adanya enkripsi pada perangkat tersebut. Otomatisasi pendeteksian telur Haemonchus contortus dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan Algoritma YOLOv3 yang dibantu dengan hardware berupa laptop dan smartphone android serta memiliki kemampuan identifikasi dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

Infrared thermal camera is an alternative and non-invasive method used to identify various physiological and pathological process related to body surface temperature changes.  The aim of this research was to study the body surface temperature pattern based on the observed regios. Three horses were randomly selected as animal experiments. Thermal image data was collected at 17.00 – 19.00 WIB for five days. Images were retrieved from seven regios: head, thorax, abdomen, and four lower legs. The result of horse A’s surface temperature in five days on head, thorax, abdomen, front left leg, front right leg, rear left leg, and rear right leg regios were 33.42, 33.49, 33.56, 31.30, 31.48, 31. 33.14, 31.34 °C, respectively. The resulf of horse B’s surface tempereture were 33.55, 33.65, 33.64, 31.45, 31.35, 31.53, 31.48 °C, respectively. The resulf of horse C’s surface tempereture were 33.45, 33.55, 33.60, 31.37, 31.45, 31.34, 31.42 °C, respectively. The result showed that difference on horse A’s rear left leg (p<0.05) because of inflamation. Inflamation recovery process on horse A occured on the fifth day, indicated by a drop in temperature and a change in colors on thermal image. Color noises on some images were color difference between objects and poor color saturation. Color noises on thermal images did not affect the results of temperature interpretation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the changes in uterine support capability power due to increase of litter size in Kacang goat. In this study, 9 pregnant female Kacang goats were divided into 4 different groups based on litter size, namely 1, 2, 3, and 4. At 7 weeks of pregnancy, the experimental Kacang goats were sacrificed to observe the macro and micro parameters of the uterus. The results showed that the litter size had a quadratic relationship with micro parameters of uterus but it had a linear relationship with macro parameters of the uterus. The variables of uterine glands area, glands lumen area, and cytoplasmic area reached maximum condition at the litter size of 2.5. Litter size had a linear relationship with the volume, weight, and dimension of the uterus. It can be concluded that the optimal number of litter size in Kacang goat was two offsprings which was proven by the optimal function of the uterus to support fetal development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian hormon PMSG sebelum kawin terhadap gambaran darah merah induk domba bunting. Sebanyak 14 ekor induk domba bunting dengan kisaran bobot badan antara 20-25 kg dikelompokkan ke dalam dua kelompok, masing-masing terdiri atas 7 ekor domba. Perlakuan pertama terdiri atas induk domba bunting hasil perkawinan alami tanpa diberikan hormon PMSG (P0) dan perlakuan kedua terdiri atas induk domba bunting yang diberikan 125 IU PMSG (PG 600, Intervet, Holland) sebelum dikawinkan (P1). Sebelum diberikan hormon PMSG, domba penelitian diserentakkan berahinya dengan menyuntikkan 10 mg/ekor prostaglandin (PGF2α, LutalyseTM, Pharmacia Upjohn Company, Pfizer Inc.) sebanyak dua kali dengan interval sebelas hari. Penyuntikan hormon PMSG dilakukan bersamaan dengan penyuntikan hormon PGF2α yang kedua. Domba betina yang estrus dikawinkan secara alami dengan pejantan yang telah diseleksi. Pada hari ke-30 setelah dikawinkan, dilakukan pemeriksaan kebuntingan dan jumlah fetus dengan menggunakan ultrasonografi (USG). Sampel darah untuk pemeriksaan jumlah sel darah merah, kadar hemoglobin, dan nilai hematokrit diambil pada periode kebuntingan bulan ke-1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5. Perlakuan hormon PMSG sebelum perkawinan meningkatkan jumlah sel darah merah, nilai hematokrit, dan kadar hemoglobin induk domba bunting. Peningkatan jumlah sel darah merah, nilai hematokrit, dan kadar hemoglobin terjadi pada periode awal kebuntingan dan menurun pada akhir masa kebuntingan.

Abstract

Cats are one of the many pets kept in Indonesia. Dipylidiasis is a disease that often occurs in cats caused by infection with the Cestode worm Dipylidium caninum. The case study at the Rvet Bogor clinic aimed to find out Dipylidiosis cases as well as its diagnostic and treatment techniques. Medical record data for September 2020 to September 2021 showed fluctuations in Dipylidiosis cases in 35 cat patients at the Rvet Bogor clinic. The highest infection of Dipylidium caninum in cats occurred during the rainy season from November 2020 to March 2021. The lowest disease of D. caninum in cats happened in the dry season in August 2021 and September 2021. The patient is a cat named Nuna with a lethargy condition and of soft stools and a there is a gravid proglottid on her perianal. Groups of D.caninum eggs were seen around the gravid proglottids found in the perianal area of Nuna cat patients. Drontal® anthelmintic was given to cats infected with D. caninum at the Rvet Bogor clinic.

Abstract

Masalah fertilitas telah banyak diteliti dan banyak penanganan yang telah tersedia, namun pengobatan yang digunakan banyak berupa terapi hormon yang dapat menimbulkan efek samping buruk, sehingga menimbulkan pasar untuk alternatif pengobatan herbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek sediaan simplisia kemangi dan tauge terhadap profil heamtologi dan biokimia induk tikus. Penelitian digunakan menggunakan 15 ekor tikus galur Sprague-Dawley yang dibagi rata menjadi tiga kelompok, yakni satu kelompok kontrol normal, kelompok dosis 1% dan dosis 5%. perlakuan dengan dosis berbeda. Administrasi sediaan dilakukan selama 20 hari dengan mencampurkan 5 mL sediaan dalam 100 mL air minum. Pengamatan hematologi dan biokimia darah dilakukan pada hari ke-21. Data hasil pengujian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji one way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata (p>0.05) baik pada parameter hematologi maupun biokimia darah antara kelompok mencit yang diberi sediaan simplisia kemangi dan tauge dosis 1% dan 5% dengan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sediaan memiliki potensi untuk menunjang kesehatan dan fertilitas tanpa risiko keamanan penggunaan karena tidak mengganggu fungsi hati maupun ginjal. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran untuk penggunaan kombinasi kemangi dan tauge untuk menunjang fertilitas pada perempuan.
