Abstract

Autonomous Guided Vehicle is a mobile robot that can move autonomously on a route or lane in an indoor or outdoor environment while performing a series of tasks. Determination of the shortest route on an autonomous guided vehicle is one of the optimization problems in handling conflict-free routes that have an influence on the distribution of goods in the manufacturing industry's warehouse. Pickup and delivery processes in the distribution on AGV goods such as scheduling, shipping, and determining the route of vehicle with short mileage characteristics, is very possible to do simulations with three AGV units. There is a windows time limit on workstations that limits shipping. The problem of determining the route in this study is considered necessary as a multi-vehicle route problem with a time window. This study aims to describe the combination of algorithms written based on dynamic programming to overcome the problem of conflict-free AGV routes using time windows. The combined approach of the Dijkstra and Floyd-Warshall algorithm results in the optimization of the closest distance in overcoming conflict-free routes.

Abstract

 In the spark ignition engine system, driver convenience is very dependent on satisfying engine torque appropriate with the throttle position given by the driver. Unfortunately, sometimes the fulfillment of engine torque is not in line with fuel saving efforts. This requires the development of high performance and robust power train controllers. One way to potentially meet these performance requirements is to introduce a method of controlling engine torque using fuzzy gain scheduling. By using this method, the throttle opening commanded by the driver will be corrected by throttle correction signal that guarantees engine torque output will follow the desired engine torque input, and also reducing fuel consumption. In this case, spark ignition engine with automatic transmission is used to meet a good performance under this controller design.

Abstract

Sampah plastik membutuhkan waktu hingga 450 tahun untuk dapat terurai. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menciptakan formula plastik biodegradable. Salah satunya yaitu plastik berbahan dasar pati sukun yang memiliki kandungan amilose (22,52%) dan amilopektin (77,48%). Di samping itu, limbah tongkol jagung yang melimpah di Indonesia yaitu 4.456.215 ton (2008) kurang dimanfaatkan dan kandungan Carboxymethyl Cellulose yang dimiliki tongkol jagung berpotensi sebagai bahan plastik. Sedangkan, penambahan reagen gliserol berfungsi untuk elastisitas plastik. Plastik ini dibuat dengan mengkombinasikan pati sukun dan CMC tongkol jagung dengan perbandingan 6:4. Pemberian gliserol yang divariasikan dalam 3 variabel yaitu 0,08%v/v, 0,03%v/v, 0,05%v/v. Pengujian degradasi menggunakan KCl dilakukan untuk mengatur humiditas. Kemudian, sample plastik dikubur dengan tanah di cawan petri dan disimpan di desikator lalu, dilakukan pengecekan berat selama 7 hari berturut-turut. Adapun hasil penguraian terbaik ada pada plastik dengan gliserol 0,08%v/v yaitu rata-rata penurunan berat 0,005371g, kemudian gliserol 0,05%v/v dengan rata-rata penurunan berat 0,002457g, dan plastik dengan gliserol 0,03%v/v yaitu rata-rata penurunan berat 0,001785g. Selain ketiga variabel tersebut, pengujian terhadap plastik bening yang biasa dipasaran menunjukkan rata-rata penurunan berat plastik tersebut hanya 0,000114 g. Ini membuktikan bahwa plastik berbahan dasar pati sukun, CMC Tongkol Jagung dan gliserol merupakan plastik biodegradable yang mampu menjawab permasalahan penguraian plastik.Kata Kunci: Plastik Biodegradable, Pati Sukun, CMC Tongkol Jagung, Gliserol

Abstract

Due to the needs of improving fuel economy and reducing emissions, it is increasingly important to achieve control over robustness behavior and meet performance objectives over the life of the vehicle. This requires the development of high performance and optimal power train controllers. The performance objectives are often conflicting, or at least interrelated. One way to potentially meet these performance requirements is to introduce a method of controlling engine torque of Spark Ignition (SI) engine using Linear Quadratic Integral Tracking (LQIT) optimal control. The goal is to develop simple algorithms which can control engine torque well, thus providing fuel control more efficient and simultaneously improving engine performance due to the needs of the driver based on throttle opening information. In this case, spark ignition engine with automatic transmission simulation model is used to meet a good performance under this controller design.

Abstract

Idle speed control has been a classical problem in automotive control. The problem of idle speed control is to maintain the engine speed at a predetermined value (set-point) in the presence of various external torque such as air conditioner or power steering usage. Good idle speed control not only can reduce fuel consumption and emissions but also improve combustion stability. This study was conducted by simulating gasoline engine performance with various changes in external torque parameter using computational software. Control of idle speed with various changes in external torque was done using fuzzy control with adaptive mechanism on its parameters. System testing was done by providing an external torque changes using various step signals and random signal. The test results show that controlling system with adaptive fuzzy is able to keep idle speed at a predetermined value. Testing the system with adaptive fuzzy control produces smaller IAE value (59.19) than the fuzzy control without adaptation process (62.41).

Abstract

Quadrotor is an unmanned aerial vehicle which has ability to accomplish difficult missions like surveilance from the sky, search for natural disaster victims, and saving mission. To accomplish that missions, a quadrotor must be able to fly stable and can be directed to desired direction. For that purpose a control system absolutely needed to a quadrotor system. In this research a control system was designed to stabilized a quadrotor and could be directed to did way point tracking. LQIT-PID gain scheduling was proposed to make quadrotor be able to track the way point. Linear Quadratic Integral Tracking method was used to stabilized atittude of a quadrotor, PID was used to control the position of a quadrotor, and gain scheduling mechanism was used to scheduled PID parameter that change depends on the change of range between way point when the first tracking begin. Simulation results shown that this method could make quadrotor do the way point tracking task, but for several condition, it could make quadrotor unstable to fly.

Abstract

Convolutional Neural Network is one of the Deep Learning Algorithms. CNN itself is developed from Multilayer Peceptron (MLP) method. CNN and MLP are algorithms that focused on processing data in two dimensions form, such as pictures or sounds. CNN is made with the principle of translation invariance. That means CNN is able to recognize objects at various possible positions. There are 150 sign language images that are classified using Alexnet in this system. Alexnet is Krizhevsky's work at developing CNN method as a clessifier. CNN architecture developed by Alex has eight feature extraction layers. The layer consists of five convolution layers and three pooling layers. In its classification layer, Alexnet has two fully connected layers, each of them has 4096 neurons. At the end of the layer, there are classifications into 5 categories using softmax activation. The average accuracy of the classification results even reaches 100%.

Abstract

Pengkondisian udara adalah proses mengubah kondisi udara saat ini menjadi yang diinginkan dengan menggunakan pendingin udara. Namun, sebagian besar air conditioner (AC) yang digunakan saat ini masih tidak dapat mendukung parameter kelembaban udara. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menambah fitur kontrol sehingga AC  menjadi responsif terhadap perubahan suhu ruangan dan mampu mengontrol kelembaban. Sistem kontrol menggunakan metode kontrol fuzzy untuk parameter suhu dan metode kontrol on-off untuk parameter kelembaban. Sistem kontrol mengambil masukan Set Point, dan masukan umpan balik dari sensor DHT22. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mencapai set point suhu dengan respon transient sistem terbaik pada kondisi 1, yaitu td = 3,7 menit, tr = 15,3 menit, tp = 20,2 menit, mp = 0%, error steady state = 0%, dan menjaga nilai kelembapan udara dalam rentang yang ditentukan, yaitu 50-60%.

Abstract

In Indonesia, chili can be planted in various areas, both in the fields or moor, sea coast, and mountains. However, chili productions is not good, it is only increasing little by little and is not proportional to the rapid market needs. Efforts are neede to encourage the advancement of technology so that chili cultivation is more efficient. Smart Greenhouse is one of technology that can be used to help humans produce their own chili plants. The concept of smart greenhouse is the integration of data into the internet that connected to a accessed database using an android smartphone application compatible with features such as reporting, updating feeds, and controlling. DHT 22 is used as a sensor for reading temperature and humidity in Greenhouse, Moisture Sensor is a sensor for reading soil moisture. Fuzzy Logic Controller is applied for controlling temperature, humidity and soil moisture in Greenhouse. From the testing that has been done, Fuzzy Logic Controller that is applied can reach the reference temperature at 27oC in 465 seconds, the humidity control can reach 80% in 150 seconds and the soil moisture control can reach 80% in 10 seconds.

Abstract

Forest and land fire is a major problem happening in Indonesia. The impacts of these incidents are public health disruption, reduced forest economic value, and micro or global climate changes. Forest and land fire are not only happen in a local or national scale, but also on the international scale. This could be prevented if there is a detector designed to detect forest and land fire early. Therefore, a prototype system is designed to detect the fire in real-time so that this system could be an early warning by considering four climate and weather parameters and using 3 sensors which are DHT11 sensor to measure the temperature and humidity parameters, Anemometer sensor to measure wind speed parameters, and Raindrops Module sensor to measure the raindrops parameters. This tool is also equipped with Solar Panels as electrical power source and builds upon IoT which can detect and monitor the forest and land fire vulnerability through the website. This system is also equipped with a Fuzzy Logic-based decision-making process which provides the early warning based on the results of 4 measured parameter recitation. The output of Fuzzy Logic is a score between 0-1 that represents the “Safe”, “Danger”, and “Alert” status.
