Abstract

Education is the main foundation in the development of quality human beings and society. Judging from the facts on the ground, there are many problems in the field of education. One of the problems of education is the low quality of education at various levels of education, both formal and informal. This study aims to find and analyze the direct influence of teacher commitment on the quality of education and find and analyze the direct influence of teacher performance on the quality of education. This study uses field research with a quantitative approach. The preparation of research instruments begins with a theoretical study of various concepts, theories and opinions of experts. In this study, to test the validity given to the respondents, it was first tested on students outside the sample of 10 people each. To obtain complete, valid and reliable data, the researcher uses three methods, namely the Observation Method, the Questionnaire/Questionnaire Method and the Documentation Method. The results of this study are Based on the results of research and calculations proving that there is an influence between the principal's leadership variables on teacher performance at SMP IT Insan Madani, seen from the test of the persial test (T-Test), the results of the Tcount value of 3.232 and the Ttable value of 2.042 with a significance value of 0.003. With the test criteria of Tcount > Ttable and if the Significance < 0.05 then H0 is rejected. The findings of this study will inform the development of targeted interventions aimed at enhancing teacher commitment and performance, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to assess the requirements for digital literacy within the curriculum currently employed, this research employs a qualitative approach, specifically utilizing a phenomenological methodology, the focus of this research is on the stakeholders of Tarbiyatul Athfal Bulumanis Kidul Kindergarten schools, the data collection process encompasses measures to delimit the research scope, gather information through methods such as observation, structured and unstructured interviews, documentation, visual materials, and the development of protocols for recording information, the data analysis employs a flow analysis model procedure involving three concurrent streams of activities, namely: the analysis process comprises three stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation (utilizing data displays), and 3) conclusion drawing and verification. The research's outcomes encompass an analysis of Vision, Mission, and Goals, as well as an analysis of the digital literacy curriculum in kindergarten schools; the objectives of this research encompass the following aspects: 1) the rationale for implementing the digital literacy content curriculum in kindergarten schools; 2) an analysis of the digital literacy needs among kindergarten teachers; and 3) the competencies to be cultivated through the adoption of a curriculum incorporating digital literacy in kindergarten schools.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran digital menjadi tren saat ini sehingga guru harus memiliki kompetensi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Namun, di Jawa Tengah khususnya belum keseluruhan guru memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan media sebagai alat bantu dalam membangun proses pembelajaran bermakna. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi guru di Jawa Tengah dalam mengembangkan keterampilan pengembangan media pembelajaran digital. Metode pengabdian melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dipilih untuk memberikan materi terkait perancangan dan pengembangan media digital berbasis aplikasi android. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 6 hari dengan skema 2 hari pemberian materi secara daring dan 4 hari dilakukan pendampingan kepada peserta pelatihan. Sebanyak 1044 peserta yang merupakan guru di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Tengah ikut serta dalam program pelatihan tersebut. Hasilnya sebanyak 75% peserta berhasil mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis aplikasi android.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of learning facilities and infrastructure, teacher performance, and teacher competency on the implementation of the independent curriculum in junior high schools throughout Trangkil Pati District. The implementation of an independent curriculum is an educational approach that focuses on the core principles of learning, recognizing and nurturing the unique talents and interests of each child. This study employs quantitative methods. The subjects of this research were all junior high school teachers in Trangkil Pati District who were included in the basic education data. The total number of junior high school teachers is 89, which allows for the use of a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. The research employed descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results show that (1) learning facilities and infrastructure have a negative effect on the implementation of the independent curriculum by 37.8%, (2) teacher performance has a negative effect on the implementation of the independent curriculum by 24.1%, (3) teacher competence has a positive effect on the implementation of the independent curriculum by 18.6%, and (4) learning facilities and infrastructure, teacher performance, and teacher competency collectively have a positive influence on the implementation of the independent curriculum by 56.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of concrete learning media in mathematics learning at the elementary school level based on selected journal publications through a bibliometric approach using Scopus and Google Scholar databases published between 2019 and 2024. A total of 1,033 articles were initially identified during the search process, which were then filtered using inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 54 relevant articles consisting of 53 from Google Scholar and 1 from Scopus. This research employed a literature review method with bibliometric analysis stages, including the identification of research trends, publication frequency, dominant keywords, and thematic developments related to concrete learning media in mathematics instruction. The findings indicate that the use of concrete media not only enhances students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics, but also contributes to increased learning motivation, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Moreover, concrete media are considered effective in creating a more interactive and meaningful learning environment for elementary school students. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for researchers and education practitioners interested in examining research trends concerning the use of concrete learning media in mathematics education and to provide direction for future research.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the utilization of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) among Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in Semarang City and to identify factors influencing its adoption. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed, combining a quantitative survey of 100 teachers and qualitative interviews with 10 selected participants. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and regression analyses, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis to explore teachers’ experiences in depth. The results showed that PMM utilization was at a moderate-high level, with teachers primarily using the platform for accessing teaching resources and curriculum development. Regression analysis indicated that digital literacy (β = 0.45, p < 0.001) and infrastructure support (β = 0.32, p = 0.003) significantly influenced PMM utilization, explaining 52% of the variance. Qualitative findings revealed three dominant themes: empowerment through PMM, barriers to optimal use, and the need for continuous institutional support. The study concludes that effective PMM adoption requires not only technological readiness but also sustained digital mentoring and institutional facilitation. These findings contribute to strengthening teacher professionalism and digital competence within the framework of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kebiasaan siswa dalam menggunakan AI sebagai mitra belajar, meliputi intensitas penggunaan, tujuan pemanfaatan, persepsi manfaat, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penggunaannya. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif eksploratif. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode angket berbasis google form yang dikirim kepada 15 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki intensitas penggunaan AI yang tinggi, dengan 93,3% responden berada pada kategori sering dan sangat sering menggunakan AI dalam kegiatan belajar. Tujuan utama pemanfaatan AI meliputi mencari referensi akademik (73,3%), serta membantu penyelesaian tugas (86,6%). Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan AI, terutama dalam meningkatkan efisiensi belajar, pemahaman materi, dan kemandirian belajar. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi sejumlah kendala yang dihadapi, yakni kesesuaian data, ketergantungan, dan masalah etika akademik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI memiliki potensi strategis sebagai mitra belajar siswa, tetapi penggunaannya perlu diimbangi dengan literasi AI dan pemanfaatan yang penting serta bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a Deep Learning-based learning module on the theme of environmental preservation to strengthen students’ environmental care character at SD Negeri 29 Sorong Regency. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects included elementary school teachers and students. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, observations, and learning outcome tests. The results indicated that the developed module met validity standards based on expert evaluations of instruments, design, and content. The module was also categorized as highly practical, with an average student response score of 82.22%. Its effectiveness was demonstrated by improved learning outcomes and positive changes in students’ environmental care attitudes. Therefore, the Deep Learning-based module is feasible and effective for meaningful learning and strengthening environmental care character in elementary education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Deep Learning pada tema menjaga lingkungan untuk menguatkan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa SD Negeri 29 Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru dan siswa sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi validasi ahli, angket respons guru dan siswa, observasi, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul memiliki tingkat validitas yang baik berdasarkan penilaian ahli instrumen, desain, dan materi. Modul juga dinilai sangat praktis oleh siswa dengan rata-rata persentase 82,22%. Efektivitas modul ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar dan perubahan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa setelah penggunaan modul. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran berbasis Deep Learning layak dan efektif digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran bermakna serta penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing use of social media among university students has transformed patterns of information access and learning processes in higher education institutions. Social media has become an influential source of information that affects students’ learning behavior; however, students’ digital literacy and critical attitudes in managing information remain suboptimal. In addition, studies examining these two variables simultaneously in relation to learning behavior are still limited. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social media digital literacy and critical attitudes toward social media content with students’ learning behavior, based on Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory (1986). This research employed a quantitative correlational approach involving 404 undergraduate students in Central Java selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of an adapted Digital Literacy Scale questionnaire, the SoMeLit framework, and a self-regulated learning scale (40 Likert-scale items). Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis via SPSS 26.0. The results indicate that both social media digital literacy and critical attitudes have a positive and significant relationship with students’ learning behavior, both partially and simultaneously. Digital literacy was found to be the more dominant factor influencing learning behavior compared to critical attitudes. These findings suggest that the ability to manage and interpret information from social media plays an important role in supporting students’ learning behavior in the digital era. Therefore, higher education institutions need to strengthen digital literacy programs and develop social media-based critical thinking training to enhance the quality of students’ learning behavior. ABSTRAK Meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial di kalangan mahasiswa telah mengubah pola akses informasi dan proses belajar di perguruan tinggi. Media sosial kini menjadi sumber informasi yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belajar, namun literasi digital dan sikap kritis mahasiswa dalam mengelola informasi masih belum optimal. Selain itu, kajian yang menguji kedua variabel tersebut secara simultan terhadap perilaku belajar masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan literasi digital media sosial dan sikap kritis terhadap konten media sosial dengan perilaku belajar mahasiswa berdasarkan Social Cognitive Theory Bandura (1986). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan 404 mahasiswa sarjana di Jawa Tengah yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner adaptasi Digital Literacy Scale, SoMeLit framework, dan skala self-regulated learning (40 item Likert). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson dan regresi berganda melalui SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital media sosial dan sikap kritis memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan perilaku belajar mahasiswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Literasi digital ditemukan sebagai faktor yang lebih dominan dalam memengaruhi perilaku belajar dibandingkan sikap kritis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengelola dan memaknai informasi dari media sosial berperan penting dalam mendukung perilaku belajar mahasiswa di era digital. Oleh karena itu, perguruan tinggi perlu memperkuat program literasi digital dan pengembangan berpikir kritis berbasis media sosial untuk meningkatkan kualitas perilaku belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Busy Book “Adventures in Protecting Nature” as a medium for teaching environmental literacy to young children. This product is designed to introduce environmental concepts through various interactive activities that can raise children's awareness of the importance of protecting nature and cleanliness. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model, this study produced media that has been validated by media experts and subject matter experts with very high scores, namely 100% and 81.33%, who assessed this media as very suitable for use. However, there are several suggestions for improvement, such as adding a cardboard coating to increase the durability of the media and adding material related to the impact of environmental pollution. This research contributes to the development of innovative and effective environmental literacy-based learning media, with the aim of increasing children's understanding of environmental issues from an early age.
