Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan strategi khusus dalam pembelajaran flute di SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta, menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas pada bidang instrument flute. Penelitian ini mendiskripsikan strategi khusus pembelajaran flute yang diterapkan pada siswa-siswi kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data, waktu dan sumber. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada empat strategi khusus yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran flute kelas X di SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta, yaitu: (1) Strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, merupakan strategi pembelajaran langsung yang direalisasikan menggunakan metode ceramah; (2) Strategi pembelajaran di luar kelas, merupakan strategi pembelajaran tidak langsung yang direalisasikan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan metode drill; (3) Strategi pembelajaran menggunakan media audio, merupakan strategi pembelajaran interaktif yang direalisasikan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan imitasi; (4) Strategi pembelajaran praktik mandiri, merupakan strategi pembelajaran mandiri yang direalisasikan menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dan metode drill. Saran: (1) Dalam strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, tutur kata lisan guru lebih diperjelas agar materi dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada siswa; (2) Dalam penerapan strategi media audio, guru perlu menyiapkan file MP3 atau midi cadangan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi apabila file bermasalah pada saat proses pembelajaran menggunakan media audio berlangsung.

Abstract

Guritan adalah salah satu jenis sastra daerah masyarakat Besemah yang eksistensinya ditampilkan dalam bentuk teater tutur. artinya ia dituturkan secara monolog oleh seorang penutur cerita dalam bahasa Besemah dengan lagu atau syair tertentu dan memakai alat bantu sambang.  Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah makna syair guritan di Besemah Kota Pagaralam dan bagaimanakah perubahan fungsi   guritan pada masyarakat melayu di Besemah Kota Pagaralam? Pendekatan yang diterapkan penelitian ini adalah interdisiplin yang melibatkan disiplin ilmu semiotika dan sosiologi. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Kota Pagaralam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik keabsahan data secara utama menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dan analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian yang pertama yaitu terdapat makna berupa nasehat-nasehatt anjuran berbuat baik dan tolong menolong serta selalu menghormati kedua orang tua dan pembahsan kedua ditemukan adanya perubahan fungsi guritan yang di sebabkan oleh pengaruh budaya luar yang masuk di Kota Pagaralam yaitu kebudayaan islam hal tersebut menyebabkan perubahan prilaku masyarakat Kota Pagaralam yang harus mengikuti  norma  dan nilai  yang belaku  pada  budaya  yang  baru  yang  berdampak pada perubahan fungsi pada guritan.

Abstract

Syarofal Anam pada dasarnya adalah penyajian vokal salawatan atau puji-pujian kepada Allah dan Nabi Muhammad SAW yang disertai dengan permainan alat musik terbangan dan dalam penyajiannya ketiga elemen ini (vokal, alat musik terbangan dan Rodat) saling berkaitan. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini terkait dengan bagaimana fungsionalisme struktural Syarofal Anam yang ada pada Sanggar An-Najjam Kota Palembang. Pendekatan yang diterapkan penelitian ini adalah interdisplin, yang melibatkan disiplin ilmu sosiologi dan musikologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik keabsahan data secara utama menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dan analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, Syarofal Anam pada Sanggar An-Najjam dan masyarakat Palembang saling fungsional yang masing-masing mempunyai harapan demi keberlangsungan Syarofal Anam. Syarofal Anam menjadi kebutuhan estetik yang fungsional bagi masyarakat Kota Palembang.

Abstract

The objectives of the study is to explain the functions of counting methods used in music ensemble lessons as extracurricular activities in an elementary school. This study applied a qualitative approach. This study took place in SDN 4 (Public Elementary School 4) Godong, Grobogan, Central Java. The data of study was collected using observations, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data of the study was validated using triangulation points of resource and technique. The data was analyzed using data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion techniques. The result of the study shows that counting method is a method that a teacher can use to make ensemble music easier for pupils to learn. In this method, the teacher uses counting symbols to make it easier for pupils to learn the materials. The steps used are determining songs, which will be played to know the bars of the song, to write the counting and the symbols, to explain the meaning of each symbol, and to play the instruments while counting individually or in a band. The evaluation of ensemble music learning was taken in a simple performance of the pupils. The evaluation of the music ensemble learning using counting method shows that pupils master the material, music instrument playing technique, as well as positive attitudes show by them.

Abstract

Education is the spearhead of the progress of a nation. One factor in the formation of quality education must be balanced with quality of learning so that it has an effect on good student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research was to find out the benefit of numbered heads together (NHT) model assisted with audio visual media on the material of story elements in improving student learning outcomes of grade V. Data collection techniques was done by using learning outcomes test. The processing of the moderator variable test was done by using SPSS statistics 25 with moderated regression analysis technique with the first analysis by using the F test and the second analysis by using the R square value. The results showed that (1) the NHT model and audio visual media simultaneously influenced the student learning outcomes as evidenced in the F test of 0.000 < of the probability of 0.05; (2) the NHT model affects student learning outcomes by 38.9%, while the remaining 61.1% is influenced by other variables outside this regression; (3) The NHT model with audio visual media affects student learning outcomes by 58.4%, whereas, the remaining 41.6% is influenced by other variables outside this regression.

Abstract

The learning process of Social Science (IPS) in Elementary School has not been yet optimum because teachers lacked knowledge about the contextual approach, had limited learning resources, namely teaching materials as well as the inability to develop teaching materials. Therefore, this study attempted to produce Central Java local wisdom-based contextual Social Science teaching materials with the theme of “Indahnya Kebersamaan” (The Beauty of Togetherness) for the fourth grade level of Elementary School (SD). This study employed Research and Development (R & D) method with the trial design of pre-test and post-test control group. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used to examine the effectiveness of the teaching materials was N-Gain test by comparing pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental class and the control class. Further, the results of this study showed that: (1) there was a need on the development of Social Science teaching materials which could be used as learning resources to improve the Social Science learning quality in Elementary School. Additionally, the developed teaching materials were declared valid by having the average score of 84.38 with very valid criterion and very well applicable, (2) the characteristics of the developed teaching materials contained 7 components of the contextual approach which utilized Central Java local wisdom, and (3) the effectiveness test of the teaching materials showed that the experimental class achieved higher cognitive learning outcome with the N-Gain value of 0.46 than the control class of 0.19. In conclusion, the developed teaching materials can be used by teachers and students as learning resources in the learning process of Social Science to improve its quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of text-based Javanese language learning (text-based instruction) through communicative integrative approaches to student writing skills. This research method is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study was class V Public Elementary School Tambakaji 05, Ngaliyan District, Semarang City in 2018/2019 with a sample of 43 students. Data collection used in this study for students' writing skills was measured using a performance test method with an instrument in the form of a learning implementation plan (RPP) and a performance sheet. Student confidence is measured by the non-test method in the form of observation sheets and documentation. Analysis of data used an independent sample t-test. The results showed as follows: there was an increase of 9.76 points higher in students' writing skills using Javanese text-based learning through an integrative approach. Learning Javanese text-based (Text-Based Instruction) through a communicative integrative approach is more effective in improving students' writing skills. The conclusion of the research is the learning of text-based Javanese language (Text-Based Instruction) through communicative integrative approaches effective in enhancing students' writing skills. The Javanese text-based learning model (Text-Based Instruction) through communicative integrative approach can help students who have difficulty learning Javanese texts.

Abstract

Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) in Elementary School / MI, the level ofimplementation still meet many difficulties and obstacles experienced by theteachers. The research objective is to find information to develop teaching materialsbased music arts and culture for elementary school children / MI that can supportthe development of students' creative thinking, provide supplies to the students lifeskills, and create a pleasant learning atmosphere (joyful learning). Based on the dataobtained, it can be concluded that the current primary school teachers / MI are stillexperiencing difficulties and obstacles in learning the art of music. Difficulties andobstacles are: (1) the ability to translate the contents of the education unit levelcurriculum (KTSP) competency-based music, (2) the ability to optimize your child'smusic potential, (3) apply the method, (4) use of education tools and media (5)utilisation of the potential of cultural and natural environments around, and (6)develop an evaluation form. In this study developed a textbook model of musicteaching materials that are expected to be implemented at the same time teachersare able to stimulate and motivate teachers to develop further music learning.Suggestions proposed is that the institutions associated with the development oflearning in primary schools can develop training programs, development ofsourcebook and textbook which considers the potential of art, culture, and the needsof teachers.Kata kunci : seni budaya, kreatif, kecakapan hidup dan menyenangkan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendiskripsikan kompetensi yang diperlukan para calon guru seni musik dalam konteks pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis action learning dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapinya. Artikel hasil penelitian ini merupakan temuan pada tahap kegiatan analisis konteks penelitian pengembangkan materi ajar mata kuliah keahlian Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari desain penelitian model spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Cennamo dan Kalk. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada kegiatan analisis konteks yang terkait dengan kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam penelitian pengembangan materi ajar mata kuliah keahlian Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik dalam Konteks Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Action Learning ini diperoleh informasi pentingnya beberapa hal seperti: (1) penguasaan konsep dan simbul-simbol musik yang diperoleh melalui berbagai pengalaman musikal (bernyanyi, bermain alat musik, berkreasi  musik, dan lain-lain); (2) strategi pembelajaran seni musik yang mencakup metode, kegiatan pembelajaran, dan media pendukung; (3) kemampuan memainkan alat musik pengiring seperti keyboard, piano atau gitar; dan (4) kemampuan menciptakan lagu model yang diperlukan dalam pembelajaran seni musik.This study aims to identify and describe competencies required by students of   music education in the context of action learning-based and learning constraints that their face. This article is the result of research findings in the step of context analysis of development research  of subject matter expertise, Musical Arts Education Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University.  The study was conducted by the development  research approache adapted of the research model design developed by Cennamo and Kalk. Based on the data obtained in the context of analytical work related to the research needs required in the course of teaching material development expertise at Music Education Program Implementation in  the context of action learning-based is obtained the importance  information of things such as: (1) mastery of concepts and music symbols obtained through a variety of musical experiences (singing, playing musical instruments, creating music, etc.), (2) the art of music learning strategy  includes methods, learning activities, and media support, (3) the ability to play a musical instrument such as keyboards, piano or guitar , and (4) the ability to create a song model required in music learning.

Abstract

Perbedaan antara laki-laki dan perempuan secara alami (biologis) dalam berbagaikonteks budaya seringkali mendasari diferensiasi peran (division of labor) yang ada.Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang mengkaji tentang bagaimanakonstruksi peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnyabidang pendidikan seni musik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputiwawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yangdigunakan yakni dengan mengembangkan deskripsi kasus, yang prosesnyadilakukan dengan tahap reduksi data, kategorisasi, dan penafsiran data(verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konstruksiperan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam proses pendidikan musik terjadi padalingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat. Realitas obyektif yangmencakup berbagai pandangan, sikap, perilaku, dan pemberian makna terhadapdiferensiasi peran laki-laki dan perempuan berdasarkan budaya (nurture) yangterdapat dalam lingkungan keluarga memiliki peran yang menonjol dalam proseskonstruksi peran dikalangan siswa dan mahasiswa perempuan. Sedangkan bagisiswa dan mahasiswa laki-laki, proses konstruksi peran selain terjadi di dalamlingkungan keluarga juga terjadi di dalam lingkungan sosial masyarakat. Biasgender yang terjadi dalam proses konstruksi peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalampenelitian ini ditunjukan dengan masih adanya pandangan stereotype gender dikalangan orang tua, siswa, dan mahasiswa musik.Kata kunci : Gender, Musik, Konstruksi, Peran, Pendidikan.
