Abstract

Facts prove that the magnitude of the potential for volcanic vulnerability in Indonesia can be identified from the location of the area and geographical position, where its existence is in the path of the meeting of tectonic plates with active volcanic lines or known as the ring of fire. North Sulawesi itself has ± 7 active volcanoes, one of them is Mount Lokon in Tomohon City. One of the most devastating eruptions that brought huge losses due to the eruption of Mount Lokon occurred decades ago, precisely in 1991, Mount Lokon erupted on a large scale. Therefore, this research is needed to determine the adaptation capacity and level of adaptation of the community to face the threat of danger from the Lokon volcano. The purpose of this study was to identify existing conditions, analyze the adaptation capacities, and analyze the level of adaptation of the community in North Tomohon District. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis methods and uses the scoring method. The results showed that the adaptation capacity for physical, social, and economic aspects got a high score, this indicated that the community was able to adapt, while for the adaptation level, based on the classification score the score was 2 in the adaptation level theory, which showed that the intermediate level of excitability was the right level that could maximized behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRACT There are limits to the level of employee ability to interact, crowded service and work space, difficulty in moving around while there is an intensity of employee activity that continuously occurs every day which provides inappropriate responses and feelings which are the stimulus that triggers changes in human behavior in the spatial relationships that occur. in the work environment at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (DPUPR) building in Buol district in Central Sulawesi. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques with Space syntax analysis, Behavior mapping techniques with two analyzes of Place-centre Mapping and Person-centre Mapping, and questionnaires as comparative data from the results of the author's analysis. Based on the results of space syntax analysis in Hillier's theory, the DPUPR Buol Building with a prototype design, has high connectivity and integrity values in the spatial configuration, indicating that the spaces are not well connected to each other, and there is a high intensity of movement in behavioral patterns according to the results behavior mapping observations, giving rise to seven attributes of behavioral phenomena by Weinsman, where crowding is the dominant attribute. The existing space configuration in the DPUPR Buol building needs to be reorganized and can meet the standards for the size of the State Building (BGN) and hierarchical institutional functions, by adjusting the size of the work space, spaces with high movement are connected hierarchically, presenting territories and separating public services and private, thereby limiting accessibility between employees and visitors to control activities in the work space. Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: Measurement and Evaluation of Indoor Air Quality in Residential Low – Income Apartment : Case Study of Rusunawa Tingkulu Manado This research aims to determine the air quality in the residential space of Rusunawa Tingkulu. Indoor air quality is very vulnerable to exposure to pollution both from outside and inside the room. Poor air quality can be a contributing factor to the health and comfort of occupants of residential spaces. The focus of this research is to determine and identify air quality variables in residential spaces, namely on physical quality such as wind speed, air temperature, relative humidity, Pm2.5, Pm10, and chemical quality such as CO₂, HCHO, VOC, and O₂ levels. The method used in this research is field observation using measuring instruments as instruments for measuring variables that affect indoor air quality. Air quality data obtained from measurements are compared with standard data on ideal air requirements in the home space referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The data is then described in the form of graphs and tabulations, then explained descriptively. From the results of the measurements taken, it was found that the physical quality and chemical quality of CO₂ in residential spaces did not meet the required standards. Meanwhile, chemical quality variables such as HCHO, VOC, and O₂ levels have met the ideal air quality standards in residential spaces.
