Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the tea’s effect on the blood pressure. Research is a type of experimental research, with a randomized pre-post test with control design. Antioxidant activity was determined using the DPPH method, while saponin levels were quantified using gravimetric analysis. Blood pressure measurements in rats were obtained via tail-cuff plethysmography. A total of 28 male Sprague dawley rats were used, randomly allocated into four groups: a negative control group without extract (K-), a positive control group treated with furosemide 3.6 mg/kg (K+), and intervention groups receiving different doses of tea extract, specifically 300 mg/kg body weight (X1) and 500 mg/kg body weight (X2). The findings revealed that the IC50 value for antioxidant activity of corn silk tea was 65.526 ppm, with a saponin content of 8.461%. Meanwhile, bay leaf tea exhibited stronger antioxidant properties, with an IC50 of 40.351 ppm and a saponin content of 7.408%. The X2 group demonstrated the most significant reduction in blood pressure, averaging 98.9 mmHg. In conclusion, corn silk tea possesses strong antioxidant properties, whereas bay leaf tea has very strong antioxidant activity. The combination of bay leaf and corn silk tea was effective in decreasing blood pressure in rats. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh teh terhadap tekanan darah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen randomized pre-post test with control design. Penentuan aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH, kadar saponin menggunakan analisis gravimetri kuantitatif, pengukuran tekanan darah pada tikus menggunakan metode tail-cuff plethysmo-graphy. Penelitian menggunakan 28 tikus putih jantan Sprague dawley, dibagi 4 kelompok yaitu tanpa pemberian ekstrak (K-), dengan obat furosemid 3,6 mg/kg (K+), intervensi teh saraja dengan dosis ekstrak 300 mg/kgBB (X1); dosis 500 mg/kg BB (X2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan teh rambut jagung IC50 sebesar 65,526 ppm sedangkan kadar saponin pada teh rambut jagung ketan sebesar 8,461%. Aktivitas antioksidan teh daun salam IC50 sebesar 40,351 ppm, sedangkan kadar saponin pada teh daun salam sebesar 7,408%. Rerata tekanan darah pada kelompok X2 menunjukkan selisih penurunan tekanan darah paling banyak yaitu 98,9 mmHg. Kesimpulannya, aktivitas antioksidan teh rambut jagung berada pada kelompok kuat, dan antioksidan pada teh daun salam termasuk golongan yang sangat kuat. Pemberian teh daun salam kombinasi rambut jagung dapat menurunkan tekanan darah pada tikus.

Abstract

The practice of narrating almsgiving on social media also contains interesting ethical and social dimensions worth examining. On the one hand, almsgiving content on Instagram can serve as a means of preaching and inspiration, encouraging a spirit of sharing within the community. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the strategies used by content creators to narrate almsgiving as Instagram content. The research method adopted a qualitative approach. The findings indicate that content creators on the Instagram platform can employ strategies to narrate almsgiving, a form of religious-social communication. The Instagram account @sedekahsubuh.yib presents daily spirituality, while the account @kitabisacom emphasizes professionalism based on empathy. Both accounts, along with several others, share a creatively packaged message of kindness without diminishing its religious significance. The study described above reveals several strategies for narrating almsgiving on Instagram: personal narrative, spiritual narrative, and empathy narrative.

Abstract

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is expected to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. However, variations in student responses indicate differing levels of digital readiness. This study aims to explore the typology of student enthusiasm in using ICT in PAI at SD Negeri 1 Gondang. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Spradley’s model. The findings show three typologies of enthusiasm: high (73.7%), moderate (18.4%), and low (7.9%), influenced by access to digital devices, previous experience, and teacher support. Students with regular digital access and supportive environments demonstrated higher enthusiasm. The study concludes that ICT-based learning in PAI should consider students' digital readiness. These results support Keller’s ARCS motivation model and highlight the importance of addressing the digital divide in primary religious education

Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research stems from the increasing use of game-based learning in elementary schools, although it is still unknown how students assess its benefits and its impact on their digital literacy skills. This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of the use of the Roblox platform in developing digital literacy at SDIT Al Ihsan Colomadu in 2025. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires distributed to all fifth-grade students and through classroom observations conducted while the teacher implemented Roblox-based learning. The sampling technique used was total sampling, considering the relatively small student population. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation of students’ perceptions. The results indicate that most students have positive perceptions of using Roblox as a fun and interactive learning tool that helps them understand digital literacy concepts, especially in collaboration, communication, and online safety. The implications of this study suggest that Roblox can serve as an alternative medium to strengthen digital literacy competencies at the elementary school level through contextual and experience-based learning. ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari meningkatnya penggunaan game-based learning di sekolah dasar, namun belum diketahui bagaimana siswa menilai manfaat serta dampaknya terhadap kemampuan literasi digital mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan platform Roblox dalam mengembangkan literasi digital di SDIT Al Ihsan Colomadu pada tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket tertutup yang dibagikan kepada seluruh siswa kelas V dan observasi kelas ketika guru mempraktikkan pembelajaran berbasis Roblox. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling, mengingat jumlah populasi siswa yang relatif kecil. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan frekuensi, persentase, rata-rata, dan simpangan baku persepsi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan Roblox sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan membantu mereka memahami konsep literasi digital, terutama dalam kerja sama, komunikasi, dan keamanan online. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Roblox dapat dijadikan media alternatif untuk memperkuat kompetensi literasi digital di tingkat sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berbasis pengalaman.

Abstract

The study was to: 1) generate the appropriate evaluation instrument so that the instrument might be implemented in evaluating the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu) learning process; 2) identify the effectiveness of the developed evaluation instrument; and 3) identify the description and the criteria in the results of evaluation conducted in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The study was categorized as an evaluation research that applied the CIPP evaluation model (the aspects that had been selected were the input and the process), namely the one that referred to the steps in the research and development efforts in order to develop the instrument for evaluating the learning process in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The conclusions of the study, then, are as follows: 1) the study has generated the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Learning Process Evaluation Model (P3) and the P3 Model that has been developed refers to the theory of Borg Gall that consists of 9 stages; 2) the P3 Model has a “Very Good” effectiveness based on the reviewer assessment and has met the standards of a tool that might be applied for evaluating the learning process in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School; and 3) the criteria in the P3 Model might provide a factual and overall description regarding the learning process in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of character education in Indonesia from 2011 to 2022, focusing on its focus, scope, and achievements. Library research, in which articles are examined, was used as the method of this study. A semi-systematic literature review was conducted using predefined keywords on Google Scholar. Articles were screened with structured inclusion criteria based on citation counts and topic relevance to improve transparency and reduce selection bias. The review examines four analytical dimensions: policy implementation, pedagogical models, management strategies, and assessment practices. Findings indicate strong regulatory commitment, particularly through Curriculum-13 and subsequent policy reinforcement. However, operational implementation varies across institutions due to differences in teacher capacity, leadership, and organizational readiness. Pedagogically, character education is integrated through thematic instruction, habit-building practices, and project-based learning, yet often lacks prioritization of constructs and alignment with developmental stages. Management capacity significantly influences sustainability, while assessment remains the most methodologically fragile dimension due to the difficulty of measuring affective and virtue-based constructs. Overall, although character values are widely emphasized, structural coherence, standardized evaluative constructs, and developmental-stage alignment remain limited. This study provides an evaluative framework to strengthen policy relevance and operational consistency in future character education reforms in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan praktik berhias dalam masyarakat Muslim kontemporer turut melibatkan penggunaan softlens yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat bantu penglihatan, tetapi juga sebagai elemen estetika untuk menunjang penampilan. Fenomena ini memunculkan kebutuhan akan kajian hukum Islam yang menilai kebolehan serta batasan penggunaannya dengan mempertimbangkan prinsip kemaslahatan dan potensi mudarat terhadap kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hukum pemakaian softlens sebagai bagian dari praktik berhias dalam perspektif Islam serta menentukan batasan penggunaannya sesuai prinsip syariat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan atau library research. Data diperoleh dari sumber-sumber hukum Islam yang meliputi Al-Qur’an, hadis, kaidah-kaidah fikih, serta literatur fikih klasik dan kontemporer yang relevan dengan pembahasan berhias. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis guna memperoleh gambaran yang sistematis mengenai kedudukan hukum pemakaian softlens. Hasil utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemakaian softlens dalam praktik berhias pada dasarnya berstatus mubah, selama tidak mengandung unsur perubahan ciptaan Allah, tidak menggunakan bahan yang diharamkan, serta tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan mata. Penggunaan softlens dianjurkan bagi individu yang memiliki gangguan penglihatan tertentu dan mengalami kesulitan menggunakan kacamata dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Adapun penggunaan softlens untuk tujuan estetika semata perlu dilakukan secara hati-hati dengan memperhatikan keamanan, kesehatan mata, serta cara pemakaian dan perawatan yang benar. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penguatan kajian hukum Islam terhadap praktik berhias modern serta sebagai rujukan normatif dan edukatif bagi masyarakat agar lebih bijak, selektif, dan bertanggung jawab dalam menggunakan softlens. Penelitian ini juga memberikan dasar pertimbangan akademik bagi pengembangan fikih kontemporer yang responsif terhadap perubahan sosial umat Muslim kini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; Moral differences between high and low emotional intelligence; Moral differences between high and low spiritual intelligence; and Moral differences in terms of the interaction between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence in students at State Junior High Schools in Sidoharjo District for the 2020/2021 academic year. The research method used is comparative quantitative using t-test analysis and two-way ANOVA in public junior high schools throughout the Sidoharjo district from October to December 2020. The population in this study was the entire class of class VIII SMP Negeri in Sidoharjo district, as many as 507 students. The sample is some students, as many as 221 students. The results showed: 1) there were moral differences between students who had high and low emotional intelligence, because a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. 2) there is a difference in morals between students who have high and low spiritual intelligence because a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 is obtained. 3) there are differences in morals in terms of the interaction of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence, the results of the hypothesis show sig. 0.001 < 0.05. In conclusion, there is an interaction between high emotional intelligence and low spiritual intelligence, high spiritual intelligence and low emotional intelligence on morals. Abstract

Abstract The objectives of this research are to see the pattern of Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training lecturers in doing community service, the urgency of the lecturers to choose the pattern of community service as done so far, and the obstacle of community service. This research employed qualitative field method. The subjects of this research were the lecturers of Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training of IAIN Surakarta. Meanwhile, the research informants were the officials in Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training environment whose leading sector was community services and the community around the lecturers who did community services. Research data was gathered through interview methods, observation and documentation. Data triangulation was done to validate the data. Data obtained from these methods were analyzed interactively. Patterns that can be used in doing community service in Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training and IAIN Surakarta is the pattern of Czuba, which is divided into 5 areas of community services. They are: engage contacts with individuals, groups and organizations thus can benefit the expertise of the university, contribute to the spiritual growth of the society, offering teaching services and research services, expertise exchange, providing access to facilities and / or programs, as well as special services related to the charter, vision, mission, goals and objectives of the university.Keywords: Community service; Academically Based Community Services (ABCS) pattern;  non Academically Based Community Services (non ABCS) Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran pola pengabdian para dosen FITK di lingkungan masyarakatnya, urgensi para dosen memilih pola pengabdian seperti yang dilakukan selama ini, dan kendala pengabdian pada masyarakat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualititatif lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Surakarta. Sedangkan informan penelitian adalah pejabat di lingkungan FITK yang leading sectornya adalah pengabdian masyarakat dan warga masyarakat sekitar dosen tersebut melakukan pengabdian.Data penelitian akan dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Data yang diperoleh dari beberapa metode tersebut akan dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pola yang dipakai dalam pengabdian masyarakat di FITK dan IAIN Surakarta dengan pola Czuba, yang membagi menjadi 5 bidang pengabdian masyarakat yaitu:  Terlibat kontak dengan individu, kelompok dan organisasi sehingga bisa berbagi manfaat dan dan  keahlian yang dimiliki universitas, berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan rohani masyarakat, penawaran layanan fungsi pengajaran, dan penelitian, pertukaran keahlian, penyediaan akses ke fasilitas dan/atau program, serta layanan khusus yang berkaitan dengan piagam, visi, misi, tujuan dan sasaran universitas.Kata Kunci: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat; pengabdian masyarakat berbasis akademik; pengabdian masyarakat berbasis non akademik.
