Abstract

As a form of government responsibilities and services to the citizen through the implementation of e-gov, the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Jember developed the Service Information System (SIP) website as a step to realize a good governance. The aim is to increase efficiency, comfort and ease of accessibility of services to the community. This research is conducted in order to assess the quality of SIP service using the e-GovQual framework and the goal is to get the priority of developing website. This research is a quantitative research involving 100 respondents. There are 21 statements representing the attributes of the e-GovQual dimension. Those were tested using Cronbach's α. The data was processed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to get the main factors that affect each dimension of e-GovQual. From the average value of communalities for each dimension, it is known that the highest priority lies in Citizen Support (0.739); followed by Trust (0.670); Reliability (0.627); and Efficiency (0.587).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the usability problems of malangmenyapa.malangkota.go.id in the Culture and Tourism Office of Malang City using the usability testing method and provide recommendations for improvements in the form of Prototype. The method used in this study is the usability testing and interview methods to conduct problem excavation on the Malang Menyapa website and to measure the usability level of malangmenyapa.malangkota.go.id using task scenario and questionnaire. Task scenario testing and interviews were conducted with 5 participants and filling out questionnaires was carried out by 20 respondents consisting of new users and old users from the website malangmenyapa.malangkota.go.id. The results of this study found 4 problems, namely the appearance that is still messy, there is no fast search feature, some features of social media links are not active, and the event list display is too much to load on one page. The results of the initial usability test level include the user convenience level of 74 percent, the user speed level of 0.04 goals / sec, the user error rate of 0.084, and the user satisfaction level of 63.5. After repairs on the appearance of the website, the results of usability levels at the user's convenience level increased to 98 percent, the user speed level increased to 0.10 goals / sec, the user error rate decreased to 0.010 and the user satisfaction level was 81.1

Abstract

Engineering Faculty of Brawijaya University is the sixth faculty at Brawijaya University. Faculty of Engineering has a website that is used as a means for conveying information about various ongoing information that related to the The Faculty of Engineering. The website itself has several issues related to usabilities, such as less attractive user interface, indigestible content layout and the presentation of information that is difficult for users to understand. To overcome those problems, it is necessary to make a user interface evaluation and improvement. Human-Centered Design (HCD) is a method used in evaluating and improving interfaces. HCD is a standard in developing interactive systems by involving users at every stage of its development. From the results of the evaluation conducted, the results of the evaluation comparison between the two designs were obtained, where the percentage for effectiveness' aspect in the initial design was 97% and for the recommended design, it increased to 100%. The average time required for the initial design for efficiency's aspect is 30.81 seconds and decreases in recommendation design to 10.60 seconds. As for user satisfaction's aspect with the questionnaire System Usability Scale (SUS), the initial design scored 52 while for the recommendation design results, the score obtained increased to 75.5. From the results of the evaluation, it is proven that the improvement using the HCD method can fix up the usability problems.

Abstract

Junior High School 1 Blitar one of many favourite school at Blitar city, that every year always have increased registrant student. It is known that the process of accepting new students that has been running so far requires a lot of resources in its implementation. Then at each stage of the process, the selection and processing of new student data that is not yet fully computerized, causes it to be less efficient. Likewise the problem on the part of the participants, they complained about the queuing system at the time of registration and the data verification process of the participants which took time. From the various problems above, it can be concluded that there is a need to develop an information system that is expected to be able to help the parties involved in the process of accepting new students of SMAN 1 Blitar. In developing an information system, the basic concept of Software Development Cycle (SDLC) is applied. By selecting the waterfall method, the first phase is a needs analysis which produces 13 system features from 23 functional types & 1 non functional as an illustration of the capabilities of the system created. Modeling the results of the analysis using Unfield Modeling Language (UML) modeling such as use case, activitiy, sequence and class diagrams. After the implementation process, the information system test results using the black-box validation method are declared valid. Followed by UAT results that 92.4% of the system can be received from the stakeholder side with a total of 24 answers "agree" on the completed questionnaire.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from observations at the The Investment and Integrated One-Stop Services Office in Bogor District (DPMPTSP). This study aims to determine the priority attributes and produce recommendations that can be given to improve the quality of e-Government services at DPMPTSP Bogor Regency. To assess the quality of website services 6 dimensions and 24 e-Govqual attributes are used. Of the 100 respondents used as research samples, the results of the IPA analysis at the suitability level have an average value of 94.82% and the value of the gap level has a GAP value of ≤ 0 which is -0.20, meaning that the performance of website services has not been able to meet user expectations. Furthermore, from the results of the quadrant analysis, obtained 5 attributes with top priority and 7 attributes with low priority for service improvement. Recommendations are given based on literature or theory for attributes that need to be improved in order to improve the quality of website services.

Abstract

Mawar Sharon Church Malang organizes Sunday service activities every Sunday by involving several church servants from several service departments. One service department that plays an important role in the successfulness of Sunday is the Multimedia Department. The Multimedia Department carries out services according to the service schedule made by the coordinator every month. The service schedule is still created manually via group chat and Microsoft Excel. This manual scheduling can take one to two hours, and the resulting schedule often conflicts. The purpose of this study is to provide solutions to problems by developing information systems for scheduling worship services. The scheduling system was developed by the waterfall method and applies genetic algorithms to produce an optimal schedule. Scheduling system that has been made is then tested with black box testing and the result is that the system has run well according to its function. The results of the parameter testing are obtained a population of 90, generation 40, crossover rate 0.4 and mutation 0.6 which produces the best schedule. User testing results on performance criteria which show that the scheduling system is able to cut the scheduling time to 91%, the reliability criteria indicate that the system is able to make an appropriate service schedule and there are no conflicts, and for usability criteria a value of 94% is obtained (strongly agree) from church servants and 90% (strongly agree) from the coordinator which means the system is easy to use.

Abstract

GOBIS Suroboyo Bus is an application developed by Dinas Perhubungan Surabaya to monitor Bus movements in real time and to know the distance between stops. Based on the findings on the Playstore there are user complaints that affect the usefulness of such applications, the GOBIS application does not provide the clock information or the arrival time of the bus, not according to the position of the bus on the application by the field, To get stop information and travel routes users need to zoom-in so it takes a while. Therefore, the usability test is done to get a deepening problem regarding usability and measuring the user's ease of access to an application. To test the usability of GOBIS application is done 2 times to five aspects, namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfaction using questionnaires. Achieved usability test results on the learnability aspect of 1.28 from the first and second Test comparisons. Efficiency aspect of 63.77%. The memorability aspect is experiencing improvements in the capabilities of the number of clicks and step counts. For satisfaction aspect obtained 65.25% from SUS questionnaire results.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan is one of the public schools in the city of Balikpapan that utilizes the website as a media to facilitate the school in matters relating to information management and support the productivity in the dissemination of information around the school. The website is rated to have poor quality based on its user experience in terms of display quality to the information that was delivered. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the website's quality using Webqual 4.0 and the IPA method to improve and maintain the quality website. Webqual 4.0 assesses the scope of the problem that includes usability, information quality, and service interaction while the IPA method is used to look at the problems that are a priority improvement. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 302 students who used the website of SMA Negeri 1 Balikpapan. The results of the study showed that there are 5 attributes included in top priorities, ease of operation, clarity of interaction, and navigation on the website as well as the display and layout of information. While the 4 attributes that are included in the low priority are the suitability of the website display type, timeliness of information, the suitability of information submitted, and the ease of communication of students and teachers through the website. The rest attribute does not have a priority fix because it has enough performance to maintain. Repair recommendations are given to attributes that go in the top and low priorities and it refer to HHS Usability Guidelines and ISO 9241-151.

Abstract

Event Surabaya is an online media website that aims to provide information about any event that will be held in Surabaya and surroundings which was established since 2010. In order to obtain information, several problems were found during the interview; content incorrectly placed, naming ambiguous navigation, and hard time to find information directly and it also impact the website operations. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an improvement of the value from satisfaction users prior before doing evaluation and after evaluation design solution. Based on the problems found, Tree Testing was applied as the first evaluation for website Event Surabaya. Tree Testing method measure some aspects; Success Rate, Directness, Time Spent, First Click, and Destination. In making design solutions, the researcher used a method of Close Card Sorting as the laying of the mechanism in line with user expectations, with the final result of sitemap and based on a standard usability guidelines and continued with the Information Architecture. The whole research used by Human Centered Design (HCD) and in all levels has been approved by stakeholders and users. The final result in this research stated that the recommendation flow and navigation website showed the improvement of the value from satisfaction users was very significant.

Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is an information system used by RSI UNISMA Malang purposed to handle management process related to data and information of hospital services. This system is used to handle registration, nursing, pharmacy, medical records, laboratories, and finance. However, there are problems in implementing SIMRS which are able to decrease hospital service quality. This research purposes to evaluate SIMRS for knowing and describing system condition by using Human, Organization, and Technology (HOT-Fit) Model Framework. Data collecting was carried out using questionnaires methods by spreading the questionnaires to 100 respondents and also qualitative method by interviewing selected respondents. The research result showed that this information system has good quality since the organization supported its implementation. Based on the three aspects of HOT-Fit, aspect of technology gained the lowest value of all. There is conformity relationship among those three components, but there is still a nonconformity that needs improvement.
