Abstract

his study aims (1) To describe the form of oral language errors in students' speech in Indonesian language learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, and (2) describing the factors causing students' spoken language errors in Indonesian language learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. Data collection was conducted by observation, recording, note-taking, and interview methods. The data in this study were processed with qualitative data analysis techniques. The steps in analyzing the data are as follows (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, (c) conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that students' oral language errors in the Indonesian language learning process in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi in the 2024/2025 learning year are divided into three main categories, namely errors in memorization, diction, and sentence structure. Memorization errors include phoneme changes, phoneme deletions, and phoneme additions. Diction errors include the use of nonstandard words, words that do not fit the context, and the use of colloquial elements in formal situations. Sentence structure errors include sentences that are less effective, wordy, or incomplete in their main elements. Furthermore, when viewed from the factors that cause errors, it is strongly influenced by students' environmental factors. The use of everyday language or local language commonly used by the surrounding environment usually affects students. In addition, one of the main causes of students' oral language errors is a lack of self-confidence. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kesalahan berbahasa lisan dalam tuturan siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, dan (2) mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, rekaman, pencatatan, dan wawancara. Data dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam menganalisis data sebagai berikut (a) reduksi data, (b) penyajian data, (c) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi pada tahun pembelajaran 2024/2025 terbagi ke dalam tiga kategori utama, yaitu kesalahan lafal, diksi, dan struktur kalimat. Kesalahan lafal mencangkup perubahan fonem, penghilangan fonem, dan penambahan fonem. Kesalahan diksi mencakup penggunaan kata tidak baku, kata yang tidak sesuai dengan konteks, dan penggunaan unsur bahasa sehari-hari dalam situasi formal. Kesalahan struktur kalimat mencangkup kalimat yang kurang efektif, bertele-tele, atau ketidaklengkapan unsur-unsur pokoknya. Selanjutnya jika dilihat dari faktor penyebab kesalahan sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan siswa. Penggunaan bahasa sehari- hari atau bahasa daerah yang biasa digunakan oleh lingkungan sekitar biasanya mempengaruhi siswa. Selain itu, salah satu penyebab utama kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa adalah kurangnya rasa percaya diri.

Abstract

This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) which aims to (1) the implementation of the time token method with the help of Question Box media can improve anecdotal text writing skills in grade X 1 students of Saraswati 1 High School (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (2) to find out the steps of the time token method of Question Box media assistance in improving the ability to write anecdotal texts in grade X 1 students of SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (3) to find out the response of students in class X 1 of SMA Saraswati 1 Denpasar after the implementation of the Time Token method with the help of Question Box media in an effort to improve the ability to write anecdotal texts. The data collection methods used are observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis methods are carried out in a qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive manner. The success indicator in this study is that if the writing ability of students is at least 75 with a good category, the steps to implement the time token method assisted by media question boxes show an increase in students reaching 80% and getting more respondents "SS" (Strongly Agree) and "S" (Agree). The results of the study showed an increase. In the initial test, the average score of students' ability to write anecdotal texts was 46.76, cycle I increased to 64.41 and cycle II increased to 91.17. The implementation of the time token method assisted by media question boxes received a positive response from students, this can be proven from the results of student questionnaires, most students strongly agree and agree with the percentage of 82.93%. Thus, the time token method assisted by question box media can improve students' anecdotal text writing skills. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) implementasi metode time token bantuan media Question Box dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X 1 SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah metode time token bantuan media Question Box dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot pada siswa kelas X 1 SMA(SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (3) mengetahui respon siswa kelas X 1 SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar setelah diimplementasi metode time token bantuan media Question Box dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang di lakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini apabila kemampuan menulis siswa minimal 75 dengan kategori baik, langkah-langkah implementasi metode time token berbantuan media question box menunjukan peningkatan siswa mencapai 80 % dan mendapatkan responden lebih banyak “SS“ (Sangat Setuju) dan “S“ (Setuju). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Pada tes awal nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa yakni 46,76, sikus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 64,41 dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi yang dapat 91,17. Implementasi metode time token berbantuan media question box mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa, hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil kuisioner siswa, sebagian besar siswa sangat setuju dan setuju dengan presentase 82,93%. Dengan demikian metode time token berbantuan media question box dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) find out the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model to improve advertising text writing skills in students in class VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar for the 2024/2025 academic year, (2) find out Steps for Implementing the Project Based Learning Model to Improve Advertising Text Writing Skills in Class VIII C Students of SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Academic Year 2024/2025. Data collection uses observation,tests and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model is to improve advertising text writing skills in class VIII C students at SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Increased student activity can be seen from students' enthusiasm in responding to learning. Students who are active in learning in class are able to understand the material and complete the three tasks given. Furthermore, if we look at student learning outcomes, the improvement in advertising text writing results can be seen from the assignments given by educators to students and can be seen from the students' average test scores. In the pre-test stage students got an average score of 39.10, in cycle I 61.07 and in cycle II students got an average score of 90. This can be seen from students who were able to put together appropriate titles, appropriate content, appropriate usage. language, suitability of writing, mechanics in students about writing advertising texts. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) mengetahui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025, (2)Mengetahui langkah-langkah Penerapan Model Pembelajran Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi,Tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Penerapan Model PjBL (Pembelajaran Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Meningkatnya Aktivitas Siswa tampak dari keantusiasan siswa dalam merespon pembelajaran. Siswa aktif dalam pembelajran dikelas mampu memahami materi serta menyelesaikan tiga yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, Jika ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, Peningkatan hasil menulis teks iklan terlihat dari penugasan yang diberikan oleh pendidik kepada siswa dan dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa. Pada tahap Pre-tes siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 39,10 , Pada siklus I 61,07 dan pada siklus II siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari siswa yang mampu merangkai keseuaian judul, Keseuaian isi, Ketepatan penggunaan bahasa, kesesuaian tulisan, mekanik pada siswa tentang menulis teks iklan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) abilities among in-service Teacher Professional Education (TPE) students at Mahasaraswati University in Denpasar. A descriptive research method utilizing a survey technique was employed, gathering data through an online Knowledge Test Simulation (KTS) available at https://simulasiup.unmas.ac.id/. The sample comprised 148 TPE students across five fields of study: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, History, and Biology. Data analysis was based on UP simulation scores, which assessed five components of PCK: knowledge of teaching strategies, content knowledge, understanding of students, curriculum knowledge, and evaluation knowledge. The results indicated that most students exhibited a moderate level of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), with an average score of 41.32 out of a possible 80. Scores varied significantly, ranging from a maximum of 80 to a minimum of 0. Approximately half of the students (50%) fell into the moderate category, while 20% achieved a high category and 5% reached a very high level of PCK. Conversely, 15% were classified as low, and 10%  as deficient. The analysis revealed that students' primary challenges lie in effectively integrating content knowledge with pedagogical techniques and developing appropriate student assessments. The study concludes that, although some students demonstrate strong mastery of PCK, the majority require additional support in enhancing their teaching strategies and assessment skills.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa, adapun nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa dari pretest/tes awal adalah sebesar 46,68 meningkat menjadi 62,88 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 83,17 pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik. Penggunaan media audio visual terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, serta kualitas tulisan siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis media audio visual sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks biografi siswa.

Abstract

One of the main challenges prospective teachers face is effectively transferring lesson content to students. This study aims to examine how prospective teachers apply Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in the context of microteaching to improve student learning outcomes. This study used a mixed-method approach involving 20 lecturers and 148 prospective teachers, covering four subject areas: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and History. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and interviews and analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods and thematic qualitative analysis. The results showed that lecturers demonstrated strong PCK competencies, averaging 84.10 across all components. Of the 20 lecturers, 45% performed very well in content delivery, 35% were categorized as good, and 20% were fair. Prospective teachers also demonstrated high performance in PCK implementation, with an average score of 80.67, which was categorized as very good. Lecturers are important in guiding prospective teachers to design and align learning materials with learning objectives. However, there are still difficulties in problem-solving, adaptability, lesson planning, and pedagogical integration. This study concludes that targeted training and mentoring programs are essential to enhance PCK implementation among preservice teachers. These findings highlight the need to strengthen PCK development in teacher education programs and suggest future research to evaluate its long-term impact on teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the incorporation of local wisdom into pedagogical approaches in junior high schools in Bali, emphasizing how educators integrate Balinese cultural values and practices into classroom instruction. This research examines the utilization of local wisdom, the teaching methods employed, and the problems faced in various educational environments through culturally responsive pedagogy. A qualitative case study methodology encompassed classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with educators and administrators, and an analysis of instructional documents. Research indicates that Balinese philosophies, such Tri Hita Karana and Tat Twam Asi, and other local wisdom together with community-oriented practices, are amalgamated through storytelling, project-based learning, reflective writing, and experiential instruction. These methodologies promote student involvement, cultural consciousness, and moral advancement. Nonetheless, obstacles hinder its implementation, such as time limitations, the absence of culturally pertinent teaching materials, insufficient professional development, and demands from the conventional curriculum. The study underscores differences in integration methods based on regional and institutional contexts prioritizing reflective and discussion-oriented approaches. The findings confirm that teaching grounded on local wisdom increases the significance and effectiveness of education, while simultaneously acting as a vehicle for cultural preservation. The study advocates for enhanced institutional support, educator training, and curriculum adaptability to foster culturally relevant education.

Abstract

Students often experience difficulties in achieving optimal learning outcomes and showing consistent engagement in learning. The low involvement of students in the teaching and learning process is a serious challenge in improving the quality of education in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the digital literacy-based Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model in improving learning outcomes and optimizing student activeness. This research is a quantitative study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were students, who were taking syntax course. Data collection techniques used learning outcomes tests and student activeness observations, with instruments in the form of pretest-posttest questions and activity observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out by Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests, as well as paired sample t tests to determine significant differences between pretest and posttest. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes and student activeness as evidenced by an increase in the average pretest score after treatment. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the digital literacy-based SOLE model is effective in improving student learning outcomes and activeness. The implication of this study shows that the use of technology-based learning approaches that provide learning independence can be a strategic alternative to improve the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study is qualitative descriptive with the aim of (1) Describing the form of compliance and violation of politeness in spoken language of students and teachers in Indonesian language learning class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, (2) Describing the factors that influence the form of compliance and violation of politeness in spoken language of students and teachers in Indonesian language learning class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, (3) Describing the implications of politeness in spoken language of students and teachers in Indonesian language learning in class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. The data obtained have been analyzed in the form of data reduction; data presentation; conclusion drawing with research instruments in the form of data cards interview sheets and researchers' smartphones. The results of the study there are 50data including; 36 data forms of compliance and 14 data forms of violation of oral language politeness of students and teachers. There are 5 factors that influence the form of compliance and 4 factors that influence the form of violation of politeness in spoken language of students and teachers, as well as implications that can support the learning objectives of Indonesian language in Class VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. Abstrak Penelitian ini kualitatif deskripitif dengan tujuan yaitu (1) Mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa lisan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, (2) Mendeksripsikan faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa lisan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelasVIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, (3) Mendeskripsikan implikasi kesantunan berbahasa lisan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri4 Mengwi. Data yang diperoleh telah dilakukan analisis data berupa reduksi data; penyajian data; penarikan kesimpulan dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kartu data lembar wawancara dan smartphone peneliti. Hasil penelitian terdapat 50 data mencakup; 36 data bentuk pematuhan dan 14 data bentuk pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa lisan siswa dan guru. Terdapat 5 faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk pematuhan dan 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa lisan siswa dan guru, adapun implikasi yang dapat menunjang tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) carried out in Class XI F 8 of SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar for the 2023/2024 academic year. This PTK aims to determine whether the implementation of the problem based learning method can improve the ability to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories and to find the right steps in implementing the problem based learning model to improve students' ability to understand the intrinsic elements of short stories. The data in this PTK is collected through observation methods and test methods. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results showed that the students' initial test results reached an average score of 5.4, in the first cycle it increased to 6.7, until finally in the second cycle the students' average score increased to 8.05. The steps for the problem based learning model in understanding intrinsic elements are (1) group division, (2) the teacher provides lesson materials in the form of short story texts, (3) each group divides its members according to the questions contained in the text, (4) forming an expert group to discuss the topic in the questions they got, (5) expert group, returning to the original group, (6) presentation, (7) learning evaluation.
