Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of environmental literacy understanding among fifth-grade students at SDN 19 Cakranegara, the factors influencing it, and the role of teachers in improving students’ environmental literacy. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade teachers and fifth-grade students at SDN 19 Cakranegara. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while the validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the level of environmental literacy understanding among fifth-grade students at SDN 19 Cakranegara is categorized as very good, as reflected in the achievement of the following aspects: knowledge (100%), skills (98.7%), character (94.7%), and behavior (98.7%). In the knowledge aspect, students were able to understand the causes of environmental damage and ways to preserve the environment; in the skills aspect, students were able to carry out cleanliness activities independently and in an organized manner; in the character aspect, students demonstrated caring attitudes, discipline, and responsibility toward the school environment; while in the behavioral aspect, students had developed positive habits such as disposing of waste properly, conserving energy, and actively participating in school environmental activities. The factors influencing students’ environmental literacy understanding include the role of teachers, parental support, and the school environment. Teachers act as facilitators, mentors, role models, and supervisors in shaping students’ environmental awareness through learning activities, habituation, and direct involvement in school programs. Parental support is reflected in the provision of cleanliness facilities and the encouragement of environmentally friendly behavior at home. In addition, a clean and well-organized school environment, supported by the involvement of all members of the school community, further strengthens the development of students’ environmental literacy. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the environmental literacy of fifth-grade students at SDN 19 Cakranegara has developed very well through processes of habituation, role modeling, supervision, and support from various parties within both the school and family environments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of student worksheets containing local wisdom of the Sasak tribe and to test their validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. This research is a development research with the ASSURE model consisting of 6 stages, namely, 1) analyzing students, 2) formulating learning objectives, 3) selecting methods, media, and teaching materials, 4) utilizing media, technology, and teaching materials, 5) involving student participation, 6) evaluation and revision. The research subjects were 15 fourth-grade elementary school students with the object in the form of teaching materials "Student Worksheets". Data collection was carried out through validation sheets of material, media, and instrument experts, teacher and student response questionnaires, and multiple-choice tests (pre-test and post-test) of 20 questions. Validity analysis used Aiken's V and reliability used the KR-20 formula. The results showed a validity of 0.938 for the material, 0.875 for the media, and 0.975 for the test instrument. The reliability of the 20 multiple-choice questions was 0.71383, categorized as high. The worksheets were classified as very practical, based on 84% of student responses and 96% of teacher responses. They were also effective in improving learning outcomes from 37.33% to 79.66%, with an N-Gain of 0.67, categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Pencapaian hasil belajar siswa di SDN 28 Ampenan pada mata pelajaran PKn masih berada di bawah KKM yaitu 75 dengan nilai rata-rata 62,5 dan ketuntasan klasikalnya mencapai 42,5%. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya inovasi guru dalam mengembagkan model pembelajaran dan kurang melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Dari latar belakang tersebut maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe Role Playing untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 28 Ampenan tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi serta refleksi, yang melibatkan 40 orang siswa kelas IV sebagai subyek dengan 1 orang guru sebagai observer yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Data aktivitas siswa dan guru diperoleh dari melalui lembar observasi, sedangkan hasil belajar diperoleh dari tes evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 69,875 degan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal mencapai 65%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 79,75 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai 87.5%. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 28 Ampenan tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

The limited media of pictorial reading that raises local wisdom and the lack of application of character values in learning are problems that underlie the need to develop relevant and contextual media for students. This research and development aims to develop a digital folklore book of the Sasak tribe, "Tegodek-Godek dait Tetuntel-Tuntel," with good validity and practicality and is useful as a means of strengthening character values for students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with a 4D model approach. This research was carried out at SDN 14 Cakranegara and involved 33 students in grade V. The instruments used in this study were a validation questionnaire for media experts and subject matter experts, as well as a questionnaire for student and teacher responses as product users. The digital folklore book "Tegodek-Godek dait Tetuntel-Tuntel" as a whole has been declared very valid and very practical by validators and respondents. The results of the study showed that the results of the media validation test obtained a percentage of 100% (very valid); the validation of material experts reached 96.66% (very valid); student response results of 89.62% (very practical); and the teacher's response results were 97.5% (very practical). Thus, the existence of digital storybooks based on local wisdom can be used as an alternative learning media that is contextual to strengthen character education in elementary schools, as well as to encourage the development of similar media in other cultural areas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science and the limited use of innovative and contextual learning media in elementary schools. In addition, the potential of SASAMBO local wisdom as a learning resource that can make learning more contextual and meaningful has not been optimally utilized in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Pop-up book media based on Sasambo local wisdom on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Sdn 32 Cakranegara. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and an unequal control group design. The research population is all 56 fourth-grade students in Sdn 32 Cakranegara, consisting of 28 students in each class: Class IV A as the experimental class and Class IV B as the control class. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The research instrument consists of pre-test and post-test questions, as well as an observation sheet for learning implementation. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and effect size test using SPSS version 25 for Windows. The results showed that the average pre-test score for the experimental class was 56.9 and increased to 94.4 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average pre-test score of 54.4 and a post-test score of 79.0. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This indicates a significant effect of the use of pop-up book media based on Sasambo local wisdom on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Sdn 32 Cakranegara. The calculation of the effect size using Cohen's D also showed a large category, which indicates that pop-up book media has a strong influence in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of pop-up book media based on Sasambo local wisdom is effective in improving the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Sdn 32 Cakranegara.

Abstract

The learning media used in Pancasila Education at SD Negeri 36 Cakranegara is still limited to images available in student textbooks. These images serve only as visual aids and have not been designed to actively engage students in the learning process. In addition, limited facilities, such as LCD projectors, printers, and internet access, have hindered the optimal use of more diverse learning media. This study aimed to develop a giant snakes and ladders game as a learning medium for the topic Cooperation in My Environment in Pancasila Education for fourth-grade elementary school students, as well as to determine its validity and practicality. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The result of this study was a giant snakes and ladders game designed as a learning medium for fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education. Validation results showed that the media was categorized as highly valid, with a score of 98% from the media expert and 90% from the material expert. The practicality test based on teacher responses obtained a score of 92% in the small-group trial and 96% in the large-group trial, both categorized as highly practical. Meanwhile, student responses showed practicality scores of 93.1% in the small-group trial and 93.2% in the large-group trial, which were also categorized as highly practical. Therefore, the giant snakes and ladders game is considered valid and practical for use in teaching the topic Cooperation in My Environment in Pancasila Education for fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the use of general teaching materials that have not integrated Sasak local wisdom into IPAS learning, despite the Merdeka Curriculum's emphasis on contextual learning.This study aims to determine the development process, feasibility, and practicality of a learning module based on Sasak local wisdom in the IPAS subject, Chapter 6 “My Indonesia is Rich in Culture,” Topic A: The Uniqueness of Community Customs around Me for Grade IV students at SDN Bejelo. This research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN Bejelo. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. Research instruments included validation sheets from media and material experts, as well as response questionnaires from teachers and students. The results indicate that the module is feasible and practical. Material expert validation obtained a score of 56 (93%) categorized as “Highly Feasible,” while media expert validation obtained 40 (80%) categorized as “Feasible.” The module was also considered practical based on user responses. The small group trial reached 87% and the large group trial reached 95%, both categorized as “Highly Practical.” The teacher response obtained 86%, also categorized as “Highly Practical.” Based on these results, the Sasak local wisdom-based learning module is feasible and practical for Grade IV IPAS learning in elementary school.

Abstract

The quality of a student's thesis is highly dependent on the accuracy and appropriateness of the research instruments used. However, many final year students still experience difficulties in designing instruments that meet the requirements of validity, reliability, and suitability for research objectives, resulting in delays in completion and a decline in the quality of scientific work. This community service activity aims to provide practical assistance through the "Research Instrument Development Clinic" to improve student competency in developing standardized instruments. The implementation method includes preparation, delivery of materials and assistance in developing instruments, as well as evaluation in the form of pretests and posttests and satisfaction questionnaires. This community service activity was carried out in room F17, campus 2, FKIP, University of Mataram on Saturday, August 23, 2025. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding and technical skills of the participants. A total of 12 participants successfully produced drafts of instruments that had been validated in terms of content. The level of participant satisfaction reached 85%, with the majority stating that this clinic was very helpful in accelerating and improving the quality of the thesis preparation process. The conclusion of this activity is that the research instrument mentoring clinic model has proven effective as a strategy to improve the quality of student theses through a practical, collaborative, and sustainable approach. It is recommended that similar activities be routinely integrated into campus academic mentoring programs and expanded in scope.

Abstract

Habit-forming activities are one of the ways schools strive to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile by instilling character values in students’ daily lives. This study aims to describe the implementation of habit-forming activities in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile in the dimensions of faith, piety toward God Almighty, and noble character, as well as the dimension of mutual cooperation, and to identify supporting factors, constraints, and efforts made in their implementation at schools that have participated in the School Movement Program and non-participating schools. This study employs a qualitative approach using a comparative study design. The research was conducted at SDN 32 Cakranegara and SDN 40 Cakranegara. The research subjects consisted of school principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that both schools have routinely implemented habit-forming activities through school culture and the learning process to strengthen the dimensions of faith, piety toward God Almighty, and noble character, as well as the dimension of mutual cooperation. SDN 32 Cakranegara has a more diverse and structured habit-forming program, while SDN 40 Cakranegara places greater emphasis on the consistency of implementing these habit-forming activities. Supporting factors include the principal’s commitment, teachers’ active involvement, a positive school culture, and support from the school community. Challenges faced include differences in students’ personalities, a lack of consistency in implementing habit-forming activities, and suboptimal family support. Efforts undertaken include setting a good example, providing ongoing guidance and supervision, offering motivation, and fostering cooperation with parents.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a picture book learning medium based on Sasak local wisdom and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in Pancasila Education for fourth-grade students at State Elementary School 1 Akar-Akar. This study employed a Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The participants were 25 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through material expert and media expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using validity and practicality percentages, a paired-samples t-test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the material expert validation reached 82% and the media expert validation reached 84%, both of which were categorized as highly valid. The teacher response reached 95%, while the student response reached 95.1%, both of which were categorized as highly practical. The students’ mean score increased from 47.40 on the pretest to 91.40 on the posttest. The t-test result showed that the calculated t-value of 15.24 was higher than the critical t-value of 2.064, with a significance level of less than 0.001. The average N-Gain score was 0.86 or 85.88%, indicating a high and effective improvement. Therefore, the Sasak local wisdom-based picture book was highly valid, highly practical, and effective in improving fourth-grade students’ learning outcomes and understanding of Pancasila values.
