Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) is a form of non-formal education institution owned and managed by the community. The purpose of this service is to provide a fun mathematics learning method for package students at PKBM, besides that this service also motivates students regarding the world of work and the world of campus that they will face after graduation.  The implementation method in this mentoring activity uses an approach and collaboration method. This service is carried out in PKBM N 17 Penjaringan for students who are currently taking education and their further education.  After the activity was carried out, analysis and evaluation were carried out, and it was seen that the children experienced an increase in their understanding of mathematics, and students' motivation also increased in improving their future by continuing to college. This activity received a good response from PKBM students and is expected to continue to guide students in learning mathematics.

Abstract

In the period of Pandemic Novel Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) several online learning models are applied to the educational world. This study aims to determine 1) student responses easy to access integration of WAG learning media and Zoom Application 2) understanding of material in learning using a combination of WAG learning media and Zoom Application, 3) the effectiveness of the combination of WAG learning media and Zoom Application in online learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method through survey techniques. The research instrument used was in the form of questionnaires and online interviews given to 375 Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program students (PGSD). The results of the study showed that as many as 71,14% of students agreed in the ease of access to the combination of WAG learning media and Zoom Application, as many as 71,25% of students agreed in understanding the material in learning by using a combination of WAG learning media and Zoom Application, as many as 72% of students agreed on the integration WAG learning media and Zoom Application in effective online learning. It can be concluded that the combination of WAG and zoom applications in online learning was received by students, this was seen by students' responses through the instruments that were delivered and agreed.

Abstract

This research aims to explore elementary school students' understanding and experience of Pancasila values in using the TikTok application. The background to this research focuses on the increasingly dominant influence of social media in children's lives and the need to understand how Pancasila values are internalized in the digital era. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and participatory observation. Participants in this study consisted of 30 students in grades 4 to 6 from three elementary schools in Indonesia, as well as their parents and teachers. The research results show that students have a theoretical understanding of Pancasila values, but their application in using TikTok is still limited. Students are more likely to be exposed to entertainment content than educational content that reflects Pancasila values. Parents and teachers play an important role in supervising and guiding students' use of TikTok. However, further efforts are needed to bridge the gap between understanding and practicing Pancasila values on social media. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in teaching Pancasila values, by using social media wisely. Social Learning Theory highlights the importance of observation, imitation, and self-efficacy in this learning process. With collaboration between educators, parents and content creators, TikTok can be used as an effective tool to educate and internalize Pancasila values in students.

Abstract

One of the mathematical topics closely related to real-life problems is sequences and series, which are used to model and predict various phenomena and patterns. This material helps enhance students' abilities in applying mathematical formulas accurately in everyday contexts. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of digital-based learning media in supporting students' understanding of sequences and series. A simple descriptive quantitative method was employed, focusing on evaluating the media's effectiveness through basic statistical analysis. The results indicate that digital-based learning media are effective in facilitating students’ comprehension of sequences and series material. These findings suggest that such media can be utilized in mathematics instruction to improve learning outcomes. However, further research is needed to evaluate the efficiency of this approach in broader learning contexts and to explore how it can be integrated with other instructional media to enhance students' overall academic performance. The implication of this research is that teachers should consider incorporating digital tools to complement traditional methods in teaching mathematical concepts. Additionally, curriculum developers are encouraged to design interactive and accessible digital content that aligns with students’ learning needs and technological habits.

Abstract

Hasil belajar adalah proses untuk melihat perkembangan siswa dalam menguasai pembelajaran setelah melalui proses belajar mengajar. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi ialah faktor eksternal yaitu pola asuh orang tua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas V SDN Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dengan jenis ex post facto. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 47 siswa kelas V SDN Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan angket. Analisis data melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola asuh otoriter berpengaruh 66%, pola asuh demokratis berpengaruh 78%, dan pola asuh permisif berpengaruh 87% terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Uji-f diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,025 < 0,05 dan perolehan nilai R Square 0,537 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika sejumlah 53,7%.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools requires the application of appropriate learning models so that student learning outcomes can be optimal. This article is compiled using a literature study method that analyzes various research results related to the influence of Jigsaw-type cooperative learning on mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. The Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model places students in small heterogeneous groups, where each member is responsible for studying and delivering certain parts of the material to their original group. Based on the analysis of various studies, it was found that the application of the Jigsaw model was consistently able to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes at various grade levels. This increase is reflected in the increase in average grades, percentage of learning completion, and student absorption in each learning cycle. The results of statistical tests in several studies also showed that the influence of the Jigsaw model on learning outcomes was scientifically significant. Thus, this study confirms that Jigsaw-type cooperative learning is effectively implemented as a strategy to improve mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. These findings are expected to be a reference for teachers and educational policymakers in choosing an innovative and results-oriented learning approach.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar adalah dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Baamboozle sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis website hadir sebagai bentuk inovasi dari perkembangan teknologi. Pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Baamboozle terhadap motivasi siswa untuk belajar di sekolah dasar merupakan subjek dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yakni proses pengkajian data dari berbagai sumber seperti buku dan artikel terdahulu yang berhubungan dengan tujuan penelitian. Pencarian literatur dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi publish or perish 8 yang kemudian hasilnya dianalisis secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis dari 10 artikel terkait, diperoleh hasil bahwa Bamboozle berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penggunaan Baamboozle mendorong siswa untuk lebih terlibat aktif selama proses pembelajaran sehingga tercipta kegiatan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan bemakna.

Abstract

Understanding complex ecosystem material is often a challenge for elementary school students, so an effective learning model is needed. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the application of the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model in science learning on ecosystem material for third grade elementary school students. The CLIS model that focuses on active learning through exploration, experimentation, and discussion is expected to improve students' understanding. The research method used is quantitative experiment with a nonequivalent control group design, involving an experimental group that applies the CLIS model and a control group that uses conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through pretests and posttests to measure student understanding, which were then analyzed for differences in order to see the increase in understanding between the two groups. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in understanding of ecosystem material with an average increase in the posttest of 41.09%, while the control group only experienced an increase of 23.60%. Thus, it is concluded that the CLIS model is effective in improving the understanding of third grade elementary school students on ecosystem material compared to conventional methods. ABSTRAKPemahaman materi ekosistem yang kompleks sering menjadi tantangan bagi siswa sekolah dasar, sehingga diperlukan model pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan model Children Learning in Science (CLIS) dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi ekosistem pada siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Model CLIS yang berfokus pada pembelajaran aktif melalui eksplorasi, eksperimen, dan diskusi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group, melibatkan kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan model CLIS dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa, yang kemudian dianalisis perbedaannya guna melihat peningkatan pemahaman antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan pemahaman materi ekosistem yang signifikan dengan kenaikan rata-rata posttest sebesar 41,09%, sementara kelompok kontrol hanya mengalami kenaikan sebesar 23,60%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa model CLIS efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas III sekolah dasar terhadap materi ekosistem dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media papan siput dalam pembelajaran simetri putar di kelas III SDN Wanasari 13. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep simetri putar yang bersifat abstrak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan melibatkan media papan siput, yaitu alat bantu berbentuk papan berporos yang memuat berbagai bangun datar yang dapat diputar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep simetri putar, mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelompok, serta membuat siswa lebih antusias mengikuti pembelajaran. Guru juga menyatakan bahwa media papan siput sangat membantu dalam menyampaikan materi simetri putar secara konkret dan mudah dipahami siswa. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh hasil penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan bahwa media konkret efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, media papan siput dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi simetri putar di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Social Studies learning at the elementary school level plays an important role in shaping students’ cognitive and social skills. This article presents a descriptive analytical literature review to assess the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on elementary school students’ social studies learning outcomes. This study collected and processed secondary data from various articles, journals, and research reports that discussed the implementation of TGT in elementary schools. Most of the findings indicate that the implementation of TGT consistently increases the average IPS score, improves material absorption, and increases the percentage of learning completion. The effectiveness of this model is triggered by a combination of educational game elements, teamwork, and healthy competition that motivate students to be actively involved. Although variations in results arise due to differences in teacher readiness, content suitability, and classroom management, overall evidence supports TGT as a viable alternative strategy to improve the quality of IPS learning. This study also encourages further research to explore the long-term effects of TGT on students’ critical thinking skills and character development
