Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk magang luar negeri di SMKN 4 Sijunjung sebagai salah satu SMK Pusat Keunggulan (SMK PK). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa poin penting dalam manajemen kepala sekolah dalam mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk magang luar negeri, yaitu: Inisiatif dan komitmen kepala sekolah dalam mendukung program magang luar negeri. Perencanaan dan seleksi yang matang untuk memilih negara tujuan dan peserta didik yang tepat. Kerjasama dan koordinasi dengan berbagai pihak terkait. Pemantauan dan evaluasi secara berkala untuk memastikan kelancaran program magang. Dukungan dan motivasi kepada para peserta didik selama mengikuti program magang. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami peran kepala sekolah dalam mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk magang luar negeri, khususnya di SMK PK.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kepemimpinan transformasional yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah dapat mendorong partisipasi guru di sekolah penggerak. Artikel ini akan membahas definisi dan karakteristik kepemimpinan transformasional, dampak positifnya, serta strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara kepada kepala sekolah dan guru-guru di SMAN 3 Kota Sawahlunto. Hasilnya Guru yang termotivasi dan berpartisipasi aktif cenderung lebih bersemangat dalam mengajar, lebih kreatif dalam merancang pembelajaran, dan lebih berkomitmen terhadap pengembangan professional. Penting bagi kepala sekolah untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi dan partisipasi guru, serta mengimplementasikan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran komunikasi efektif yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan Program Sekolah Penggerak di SMAN 2 Sawahlunto. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi partisipan, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah di SMAN 2 Sawahlunto menggunakan berbagai strategi komunikasi, termasuk komunikasi verbal, tertulis, dan non-verbal, untuk mengkomunikasikan visi, misi, dan tujuan program kepada seluruh warga sekolah. Faktor pendukung seperti kebijakan yang terbuka, transparansi, dan penggunaan media komunikasi yang efektif memfasilitasi komunikasi yang efektif. Namun, faktor-faktor seperti budaya dan lingkungan sekolah, yang mungkin tidak selalu mendukung, dapat menghambat komunikasi. Dampak komunikasi efektif yang dilakukan kepala sekolah terhadap pelaksanaan Program Sekolah Penggerak di SMAN 2 Sawahlunto sangat nyata, terbukti dengan tingginya motivasi dan partisipasi warga sekolah, kerjasama yang baik, serta pelaksanaan program yang efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Gaya komunikasi kepala sekolah dapat menyebabkan misinterpretasi dan ketidakjelasan dalam penyampaian pesan kepada guru, sehingga pesan yang disampaikan tidak mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan dan memiliki dampak terhadap menurunnya motivasi kerja para guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan sepuluh orang guru SMP Negeri 2 Sijunjung. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar wawancara, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola komunikasi kepala sekolah yang berdampak pada motivasi kerja guru. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah untuk memotivasi guru mencakup kemampuan menyampaikan pesan dengan jelas, gaya kepemimpinan yang inklusif dan berfokus pada pembangunan komunitas, peran kepala sekolah sebagai fasilitator dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, komunikasi rutin, dukungan dalam mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi guru, dan penerapan praktik komunikasi efektif seperti keterbukaan, pendekatan empati, membangun hubungan interpersonal, serta memberikan umpan balik konstruktif kepada guru. Kesimpulan nya, peran komunikasi kepala sekolah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Diharapkan Kepala sekolah harus berusaha untuk mengenal setiap guru secara individu, memahami preferensi, kekuatan, dan tantangan mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of ethical leadership on teacher performance at MAN 2 Sijunjung. Leadership ethics includes the application of the principles of honesty, justice, responsibility, and transparency in a leader's actions. In the educational context, leadership can create a positive and supportive work environment, which ultimately influences improving teacher performance. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and madrasa leaders, direct observation in the work environment, and analysis of internal organizational documents. Research results show that teachers who work under ethical leaders report higher levels of motivation, a greater sense of job satisfaction, and better performance. Teachers feel more valued and supported, which encourages them to work harder and achieve better results. Apart from that, ethical leadership also contributes to the formation of a strong organizational culture, which encourages cooperation, openness, and innovation. The conclusion of this research is that ethical leadership has a significant influence on teacher performance at MAN 2 Sijunjung. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions to strengthen ethical leadership as part of a strategy to improve the quality of education

Abstract

This research is to examine how the role of the madrasa head plays an important role in creating a good organizational culture at MTsN 3 Sijunjung. A good organizational culture is very important to create an effective and productive educational environment. This case study was carried out using a qualitative approach, and data was collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. Studies show that madrasa heads have a strategic role in building a good organizational culture by using leadership strategies such as effective communication, staff empowerment, and continuous professional development. It has been proven that inspirational and participative leadership can increase employee involvement and motivation and create a harmonious and collaborative work environment. This research shows how important it is for madrasa heads to establish a good organizational culture, which helps improve education in madrasas

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the environmental care character formation program at SMPN 13 Sijunjung, describe effective strategies, and identify efforts to reduce plastic waste in schools. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study involved the principal, vice principal, teachers, students, and parents. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document reviews, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that environmental care characters have been formed through daily habits, supported by strategic school management including teacher training, socialization campaigns, curriculum integration, recycling facilities, collaboration with related parties, and periodic evaluations. This article is expected to increase environmental awareness and actions among junior high school students

Abstract

The leadership style applied by the Principal of Man Kota Solok currently has three leadership styles. Democratic leadership style can be seen in the deliberations held for decision-making related to teachers and employees. The autocratic leadership style is applied when it comes to financial management. Then the free leadership style (laissez faire) is applied when daily activities are carried out. However, in general, the leadership style applied is a free (laissez faire) but bound leadership style. Although in some cases implementing autocratic and democratic leadership styles. This is done because the people we face and also the problems are also different, then the situations and conditions we face are also different. So to complete it the principal uses these three leadership styles. In addition to strengthening the leadership style applied, the leader also applies his leadership functions, namely instructive, consultative, participation, delegation, and control. And good and proper leadership is one of the important assets that must be owned in the Man City Solok Regional Environment. This has encouraged school principals in the city of Solok to carry out activities in the form of training and development in improving the quality of leadership. The realization of realizing proper and correct leadership is proven by the existence of leadership training activities in the form of education and training (Training) provided by the Regional Government of Solok district. As well as organizations in Solo City Man have a goal of profitability and developing in a better direction. Another similarity, the school consists of people who have different goals. the management at the school has its own goals that are aligned with organizational goals because the main goal is how the Man Kota Solo school can progress and develop.

Abstract

This research aims to describe a case study of organisational behaviour in MAN Kota Sawahlunto with a focus on the principal's innovation in preparing students to continue their education to public universities. The type of research used is explorative with a qualitative approach. Descriptive analytic method is used to describe and answer the problem of existing phenomena, both in single variables and correlation or comparison of various variables. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, there are several innovations implemented by the head of MAN Sawahlunto, which include building a conducive academic environment, improving the quality of teaching, career guidance, and counselling. These innovations proved to be effective in helping students achieve their goal of continuing their education to public universities. In addition, collaboration with public universities and regular monitoring of student progress are also integral parts of the holistic approach
