Abstract

Batam merupakan kota yang terkenal dengan statusnya sebagai tujuan wisata andalan. Kota Batam memiliki fasilitas pariwisata yang sangat baik, aksesibilitas yang mudah, dan beragam fasilitas umum yang menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh information quality, information quantity, information credibility, needs of information, serta attitude towards information terhadap information adoption dan purchase intention pada wisatawan yang mengunjungi Kota Batam. Pendekatan yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan terhadap 304 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik SEM-PLS dengan SMARTPLS Versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa information quality, information credibility, needs of information, dan attitude towards information membawa efek yang signifikan atas information adoption. Namun, information quantity tidak mendatangkan efek signifikan atas information adoption. Information adoption tidak dapat mendatangkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Selain itu, information adoption mampu memediasi pengaruh information quality, needs of information, dan attitude towards information terhadap purchase intention, tetapi tidak mampu memediasi hubungan information quantity dan information credibility terhadap purchase intention

Abstract

Penggunaan dompet digital yang meningkat sejak tahun 2020 menjadi salah satu topik penelitian yang banyak diteliti di berbagai negara, seperti India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, dan Vietnam. Dompet digital di negara Indonesia juga semakin banyak, contohnya seperti Shopeepay, OVO, Gopay, LinkAja, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini mengangkat topik tentang konsumen Gen Z yang menggunakan dompet digital saat berwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perilaku penggunaan dompet digital oleh konsumen Generasi Z (Gen Z) untuk berwisata. Tiga variabel independen digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness dan Social Influence serta satu variabel Attitude sebagai mediasi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada konsumen Gen Z yang menggunakan dompet digital untuk berwisata. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan pendekatan SEM-PLS dan diolah dengan bantuan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumber data bagi perusahaan aplikasi dompet digital dalam memahami perilaku konsumen Gen Z dalam menggunakan dompet digital untuk berwisata

Abstract

Batam City is one of the areas that is a favorite tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. However, Batam City is considered better known as a transit city before tourists visit Singapore and Malaysia. This study aims to analyze the effect of destination performance and destination image on tourist satisfaction and loyalty to Batam City as a destination. This type of research is quantitative. The respondents of the study were tourists who had visited Batam City more than twice. The collection of research data using questionnaires and the collected data was analyzed using the SEM-PLS approach and assisted by SMARTPLS statistical software. The results of the study indicate that destination performance has an influence on destination image. Destination performance has a significant influence on tourist satisfaction with Batam City, while destination image has no influence on tourist satisfaction with Batam City. The results of this study also prove that satisfaction has a significant influence on tourist loyalty to Batam City as a tourist destination. The results of this study are expected to contribute to stakeholders to make strategic policies in increasing tourist loyalty to Batam City as a tourist destination.

Abstract

Brand ambassador merupakan identitas dari suatu produk, semakin baik citra seorang brand ambassador maka akan semakin tinggi minat konsumen untuk membeli produk tersebut. Keputusan pembelian pasti bergantung pada karakter dan perilaku seseorang. Karena setiap konsumen memiliki alasan atau motif yang berbeda dalam mengambil keputusan. Salah satunya budaya asing yang paling populer dan sedang trend di Indonesia saat ini adalah Hallyu atau Korean wave, yang merupakan gelombang budaya dari Korea Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand ambassador selebriti terhadap keputusan pembelian produk skincare Korea di Kota Batam. Fenomena Korean wave telah meningkatkan popularitas produk kecantikan asal Korea Selatan, yang diperkuat oleh strategi pemasaran dengan menggunakan brand ambassador dari kalangan selebriti. Penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan Purposive Sampling dan Convenience sampling karena adanya persyaratan responden seperti masyarakat Kota Batam yang berumur 18-26 tahun. Analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS statistics 26.0 dan SmartPLS 3.0. Terdapat 280 responden yang merupakan pengguna skincare Korea di Kota Batam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand ambassador memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase decision dan purchase intention. Selain itu, faktor lain seperti social media marketing dan electronic word of mouth juga berperan dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Kedai kopi Aan merupakan salah satu usaha kuliner yang ada di kota Batam. Saat ini kedai kopi Aan menghadapi persaingan yang ketat dalam industri kuliner. Pada beberapa periode waktu sebelumnya, Kedai kopi Aan mengalami penurunan penjualan karena semakin banyaknya kompetitor sejenis dan belum maksimalnya pelaksanaan pemasaran secara digital. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra yaitu kedai kopi Aan untuk meningkatkan omzet usaha. Program yang akan dilaksanakan meliputi perancangan dan penerapan strategi pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan penjualan di aplikasi pengantaran makanan secara daring seperti aplikasi Gofood dan Grabfood. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian ini meliputi observasi langsung ke lokasi dan wawancara ke pemilik usaha dan konsumen. Hasil akhir dari program pengabdian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan jumlah pelanggan baru dan peningkatan omzet usaha setelah implementasi program pengabdian.

Abstract

The growth of smart tourism, particularly through 360° virtual tour (VT360°) technology, presents an effective promotional strategy in the period following the COVID-19 pandemic. This approach is especially suitable for outdoor tourist destinations that seek to engage with a global audience. This research was specifically conducted to design and put into practice VT360° technology at Belalang Adventure in Batam. The main goals were to increase the availability of information for potential visitors and improve the location's appeal to foreign tourists, who often research destinations online before traveling. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, which included systematic stages of initial observation, capturing high-quality images with Google Street View, editing the photos with Adobe Lightroom, and building the final virtual tour on the Theasys platform. The outcome is a fully interactive virtual tour that highlights key points of interest, including the main entrance, the ticket counter, and various game areas, all of which can be conveniently accessed online from any device. This digital tool has proven to be an effective and low-cost method for tourism promotion. It also shows the considerable potential for small and medium-sized tourism businesses to use immersive technology to reach a wider market. Based on these findings, this study recommends forming collaborations with tour operators, local tour guides, and hotels to broaden the distribution of the virtual tour, making it a central part of a more extensive and combined promotional strategy.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore how factors such as environmental concern (EC), subjective norms (SN), perceived behavioral control (PBC), and environmental attitude (EA) influence Generation Z, specifically their intention to purchase environmentally friendly skincare products.Method: A quantitative research approach was employed, with a sample of 200 Generation Z consumers who have purchased environmentally friendly skincare products. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling, based on criteria including being born between 1995 and 2010, residing in Batam, and having purchased environmentally friendly skincare products. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and SmartPLS software.Result: The findings reveal that environmental concern (EC), perceived behavioral control (PBC), and environmental attitude (EA) significantly influence green purchase intention (GPI), while subjective norms (SN) do not have a significant effect. Additionally, SN and PBC influence GPI through EA, whereas EC does not significantly impact GPI via EA.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: The results of this study offer valuable insights for companies in the environmentally friendly skincare sector, helping them tailor effective marketing strategies to Generation Z consumers' preferences. By implementing the right strategies, companies can boost product sales and contribute to broader economic growth.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anggota KUBE Sentra Snack Tanjung Riau Bersinar mengenai prosedur pengajuan Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR), pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan, pencatatan keuangan senderhana, dan cara pengadopsian teknologi digital seperti QRIS. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode kualitatif yang dimana dilakukan observasi dan wawancara secara langsung pada mitra yang dituju. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman anggota dari KUBE Sentra Snack Tanjung Riau Bersinar mengenai prosedur pengajuan kredit berupa Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR), pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dan benar, dan pencatatan laporan keuangan sederhana. Anggota dari KUBE Sentra Snack Tanjung Riau Bersinar kini lebih mampu menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana secara mandiri. Selain itu, terdapat kemajuan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital, yaitu penerapan sistem pembayaran QRIS yang akan mempermudah proses transaksi dan meningkatkan transparansi. Pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha anggota KUBE Sentra Snack Tanjung Riau Bersinar.

Abstract

Founded by Mrs. Bungli in 2010 in Batam City, Bungli Coffeeshop has emerged as a leading culinary destination offering a diverse range of services, including catering, birthday events, celebrations, and social activities. Renowned for its signature dishes such as seasoned chicken and mixed rice with a variety of side dishes, Bungli Coffeeshop has crafted a distinctive culinary experience that captivates consumers. This study aims to propel the progress of Bungli Coffeeshop by introducing innovation through the establishment of a website and the development of a catering collaboration proposal. With a focus on employing interview, observation, and documentation methods, this research aims to support Bungli Coffeeshop in entering a new phase of business development. The results of this research indicate a significant improvement in the business performance of Bungli Coffeeshop. Through the establishment of a website, the business has successfully gained broader exposure, attracting new customers and providing a better experience for loyal patrons. Furthermore, the formulation of a catering collaboration proposal expands opportunities for business partnerships, opening doors to mutually beneficial collaborations. This study provides a deeper understanding of the importance of innovation in the culinary business world and offers practical guidance for planning the next steps in the development of Bungli Coffeeshop. With these efforts, it is anticipated that Bungli Coffeeshop will continue to grow and become a key player in the culinary industry in Batam City and its surroundings. Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of emotions, entertainment, and information in TikTok Advertisement on consumer behavior and hotel purchasing decisions among the Zennial Generation. The results of testing using SmartPLS software show that emotions do not has a significant effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.041, t-statistic = 0.919, p = 0.358), but ... significant to behavior consumer (β = 0.158, t-statistic = 2,661, p = 0.008). Entertainment also has no significant effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.100, t-statistic = 1.097, p = 0.273), but has a significant effect on consumer behavior (β = 0.215, t-statistic = 2.326, p = 0.020). Information is proven to have a significant effect on consumer behavior (β = 0.608, t-statistic = 7.069, p = 0.000) and purchasing decisions through consumer behavior (β = 0.479, t-statistic = 4.614, p = 0.000). In addition, there is a significant influence of emotional (β = 0.124, t-statistic = 2.564, p = 0.010) and entertainment (β = 0.169, t- statistic = 2.050, p = 0.040) on purchasing decisions through consumer behavior. Overall, this study shows that factors in TikTok Advertisement can influence consumer behavior and hotel purchasing decisions in the Zennial Generation, with information as the most dominant factor.
