Abstract

Pineapple is one of the fruits that are produced in West Kalimantan. The production which is relatively high and it had a relatively short shelf life that is necessary to diversify the products from pineapple fruit that can add the sale value and extend the shelf life. One potential alternative is to develop the processing become chips. Pineapple chips processing was done by using a vacuum frying.  In the making process of pineapple chips was done by varying of frying temperature at 80, 85 and 90 degC and slice thickness 3, 4 and 5 mm. The research goal was to determine the effect of frying temperature and slice thickness of fruit on the characteristics of pineapple chips. The analysis showed that the frying temperature between 85-90oC and slices thick 3 mm were a good combination in the making of pineapple chips and met the SNI 01-4304-1996.ABSTRAK Nanas merupakan salah satu buah yang banyak dihasilkan di Kalimantan Barat. Produksi nanas yang relatif tinggi dan umur simpan yang relatif pendek mendasari perlu dilakukan diversifikasi produk dari buah nanas sehingga dapat menambah nilai jual dan memperpanjang umur simpan buah. Salah satu alternatif yang potensial untuk dikembangkan adalah dengan mengolahnya menjadi keripik. Pengolahan keripik nanas dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat penggorengan hampa (vacuum frying). Pada proses pembuatan keripik nanas ini dilakukan penelitian berupa variasi suhu penggorengan yaitu 80, 85 dan 90oC dan tebal irisan yaitu 3, 4 dan 5 mm. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu penggorengan dan tebal irisan buah terhadap karakteristik keripik nanas. Hasil analisa  menunjukkan bahwa suhu penggorengan antara 85-90oC dan tebal irisan 3 mm, merupakan kombinasi yang baik dalam pembuatan keripik nanas dan sudah memenuhi SNI 01-4304-1996.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa melalui Modelpembelajaran Children’s Learning In Science (CLIS) di kelas XI IPA A SMA Negeri 3Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelasyang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembarobservasi dan tes akhir siklus. Lembar observasi yang digunakan yaitu tes penilaian kinerjauntuk mengetahui proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang berupa kegiatan Keterampilan ProsesSains (KPS) siswa dan tes digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Data hasilobservasi menunjukkan rata-rata kinerja KPS siswa pada siklus I (T1) yaitu sebesar 71,31%dengan keterampilan proses mengamati sebesar 78,95%, mengelompokkan sebesar 95% danmengkomunikasikan sebesar 40%. Rata-rata kinenrja KPS siswa siklus II (T2) yaitu sebesar74,61% dengan keterampilan proses mengamati sebesar80,75%, mengelompokkan sebesar100% dan mengkomunikasikan sebesar 43,08%. Rata-rata kinerja KPS siswa pada siklus III(T3) yaitu sebesar 82,73% dengan keterampilan proses mengamati sebesar 93,19%,mengelompokkan sebesar 100% dan mengkomunikasikan sebesar 55%. Nilai rata-rata hasilbelajar siswa sebelum diberi tindakan (T0) sebesar 59,53 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajarsebesar 21,87%, sedangkan setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus satu (T1) nilai rata-rata hasilbelajar siswa sebesar 67,95 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 43,33 %, pada siklusdua (T2) diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 76,25 dengan persentaseketuntasan belajar sebesar 62,63 % dan pada siklus tiga (T3) nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 87,50%. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Children’s Learning In Science(CLIS)dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa.

Abstract

Authentic material a real media and materials as a strategy for student learning in the classroom Vocabulary is a list or a series of words that are used to express the idea, or we teach in the foreign language with word knowledge. This research was aimed to find out the use of authentic material in teaching vocabulary. The population of this study is the first grader of SMAN 1 Batukliang which consist of two classes, and the researcher took two classes as the sample, they were class X.1 consist of 30 students, and class X.3 consist of 30 students, the total number of both classes were 60 students. The data in this study were gathered from the pre-test and post-test which given to the experimental and control group before and after treatment was done. In this research, the researcher computed the data by using the t-test formula. After collecting and calculating the data, the researcher found that the mean score of pre-test and post-test for the experimental group were 58.4 and 72, while for the control group were 53 and 61.8. And in testing the hypothesis, the researcher used the t-test formula. The researcher found that t-test was 68.5 and t-table in significant rank 0.05 (5%) was 1.6716. It proved that t-test was higher than t-table (6.073 > 1.6716). The alternative hypothesis was accepted. It indicates that the authentic use material was effective in teaching vocabulary for the first grader of SMAN 1 Batukliang in academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The achievement of students physics competence is not yet satisfy expetation. There are several factors to effect this problem such as the teacher centered learning, teaching materials that still have not varied, and students have not been involved learning in the process to find knowledge. The purpose of research is to determine the effect of implementation LKPD with IDEAL problem solving model in spring elasticity and static fluid to the physics competence of students grade XI SMAN 5 Padang. The type of research is pre-experimental design with one shoot case study research design. Populations in this research are all students of grade XI SMAN 5 Padang in academic year 2017/2018. Sampling tecnique use purposive sampling. The research data are values of attitude, knowledge, skill in laboratory, and LKPD with IDEAL problem solving model. Data of attitude competence is analyzed using descriptive  statistic. Data of knowledge and skill competence are analyzed using simple linear regression and correlation analysis at significant level 0,05. The correlation analysis of LKPD with IDEAL problem solving model to students competence obtained in the amount of 45,46% for knowledge and 51,84% for skill compatence. Based on analysis found that there is significant effect on implementation LKPD with IDEAL problem solving model in spring elasticity and static fluid to physics competence of students grade XI SMAN 5 Padang.

Abstract

According to descriptive study, the research is intended to know the inclination of the result of IPA learning in class VII grade at SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan by using jigsaw, Think Pair Share (TPS)and conventional model. According to comparative study is to know the difference of the result of IPA learning on the VII grade students by using the learning models. The research conducted in class VII grade of SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan in Academic 2012/2013. The research population included all students of the VII grade of SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatanin academic 2012/2013 which consists of 4 classes with totaling 88 students. The samples were taken 3 classes by random sampling with class VII B and class VII C as experiment class and class VII D as control class. The collecting data by using documentation techniques to obtain the first skill of the students and using test technique to obtain data of the result of IPA learning. Validity of the questions were looked for by using product moment correlation. The question reliability was looked for using the KR-20 formula; the result is 0.72 rtt was explained was reliable. The data analysis techniques was calculated using the F or ANOVA test A, but previously conducted analysis of requirement test, including test distribution normality and homogenity of variance test.According to descriptive study, the result showed that the tendency of the result of IPA learning on class VII grade of SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan in Academic 2012/2013 which using the model of cooperative learning (jigsaw  in very high categories, Think Pair Share (TPS), and conventional models ware high categories. In the F test using the dka = 2 and dbd = 52 obtained Fhitung = 7,07 whereas in table of The F values were 3.164 at significance level of 5 % and 4.98 at 1% significance level. Because the result of Fhitung  > F 1%, there were significant difference of the result of IPA learning on the class VII grade of SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan in academic 2012/2013 between the learning presses using jigsaw  and Think Pair Share (TPS)cooperative learning models. From the result of Shceffe test described that jigsaw  was higher than Think Pair Share (TPS)cooperative leaning models, Think Pair Share (TPS)was higher than conventional cooperative learning models. The teacher must be increase quality of learning outcomes besides using jigsaw  and Think Pair Share (TPS)models to get maximal learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the constructivism learning model in order to increase interest in science learning and achievement of class VIII C of SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta in the Academic Year 2012/2013. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or Clasroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII C, amounting to 34 students. Objects in this research is of interest, science learning achievement and learning constructivism. The data collecting technique is conducted by observation, interview, questionnaires engineering, documentation and test. Techniques of data analysis conducted qualitative descriptions. Achievement test data analysis is done by calculating the average and the percentage of successful products. The results showed that after the implementation of this constructivism learning  students' interest in learning has increased. Seen before action students just passively listening to the teacher explain the matter but after being given the actions they have started actively to ask, and discuss with friends. Percentage of student interest obtained from the questionnaire on pre-action that is 63.81%, while the percentage obtained in the first cycle of 71.55%, and the second cycle is obtained percentage of 78.34%. The students also experienced an increase of value  average 56.65 initial capability, increased in the first cycle to 68.7, and the second cycle increased to 75.92. It can be said that the interest in constructivism learning model and student achievement VIII Class C SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta can be improved.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase activeness and study result of science through cooperative learning model with group investigation typeof students grade VIII C SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakartain year 2013/2014. The kind of this research is Action Research. The subject of this research is C class the second grade Student at SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta that amount of 32 student. The object of this research is activeness and study result of science through cooperative learning model with group investigation type. The instrument of this research involved observation sheet, test, interview, and documentation. The result of this research showed that after implementation of cooperative learning model with Group Investigation type, activeness and study result science increased. Student’ activeness increased from pre cycle as 45,31% become 62,97% on first cycle and increased more as 84,69% on second cycle. Whereas the result of student’ also increased. The average  of student’ grade from the first grade as 46,94 on the student’ (6,25%) that fullfilles KKM increased to 60,16 on 11 student’ (34,38%) that fullfilles KKM on first cycle. Where as on second cycle the average of student’ grade increased to 84,38 on 26 student’s (81,25%) that fullfilled KKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to increase the activeness and result of science learning through cooperative learning model with type Two Stay Two Stray at class D seventh grade student’s on odd semester of MTs N Maguwoharjo in year 2014/2015. The kind of this research was Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were class D seventh grade students of MTs N Maguwoharjo which amount to 33 students. The object of this research was the activeness and result of science learning through cooperative learning model with type Two Stay Two Stray. The data collection tecnique of this study was conducted by observation, field note, tests and documentation. The result of this study showed that, the student’s activeness and result of science learning have increased. This was indicated by the percentage of the activeness before the model conducted amount to 46,63% become 69,77% on first cycle and increased more as 85,15% on second cycle. The students learning result also have increased. The average  of students grade from the first grade as 62,35 on the students (36,36%) that fullfilles KKM increased to 67,42 on 22 students (66,7%) that fullfilles KKM on first cycle. Where as on second cycle the average of students grade increased to 80,24 on 25 student’s (75,76%) that fullfilled KKM.

Abstract

This research was aimed to improve motivation and evaluation of science for grade VII B students through concept map at SMP negeri 12 Yogyakarta in the second semester academic year 2013/2014. This research is Classroom Action Research that was collaboratively. The subject of this study is 34 students in class VII B at SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Thr object of this study is teaching by using concept map, motivation, and students evaluation. The collecting data method used observation, documentation, questionaire and test. The result of this research showed that after nimplementing concept map, motivation and evaluation grade VIIB students became better and improved. This showed that by improvment of average percentage of learning motivation for each cycle, indicator average of motivation pra cycle is 63,3% improve become 73, 3% in cycle I and 78,7% in cycle II. The average of evaluation in cycle I is 73 become 79 in cycle II. A lot of students can reach the KKM in cycle I are 17 students with 50% persentage. In cycle II become 79,41% one 27 students can reach KKM. Based on the result of the research , the writer gave advice for scince teacher to implement concept map as the variation of teaching and learning method.
