Abstract

Artikel bertujuan untuk teknik perancangan desain e-modul fisika berbasis POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantuan computer-assisted feedback pada materi dinamika partikel menggunakan media PowetPoint (PPT) dan Website 2 APK Buider yang dikombinasikan dengan iSpring quizmaker. E-modul yang digunakan merupakan e-modul hasil penelitian pengembangan terintegrasi model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain). E-modul fisika berbasis POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantuan computer-asisted feedback ditunjang dengan dengan dilengkapi feedback multi representasi seperti gambar, video, animasi, soal, dan pembahasan. E-modul diperlukan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran secara mandiri. E-modul dapat diakses melalui komputer/laptop melalui web HTML ataupun melalui smartphone melalui penginstalan aplikasi android. E-modul telah dapat menampilkan audio, gambar dan video yang terintegrasi di dalam e-modul berbasis POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantuan computer asissted-feedback

Abstract

 The use of school facilities and infrastructure has not been used optimally. One of them is rarely using practicum KIT because of the teacher's lack of time to develop worksheets. Schools still apply literacy in reading, writing and numeracy and have not implemented scientific literacy. This application can be done with scientific literacy integrated worksheets for the use of physics practical KIT on dynamic fluid material which is considered in the validity test and practicality. The type of research is research and development (R&D) using the Borg & Gall model in Sugiyono's book. The initial data collection instruments used were questionnaires and interviews conducted by teachers and students. The validation test was carried out by 3 experts, namely Physics lecturers Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University and the practicality test was carried out by 2 Physics teachers and 36 students of class XI science 3. The analytical technique used was descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study obtained a product in the form of student worksheets integrated with scientific literacy for the use of physics practicum KIT on dynamic fluid material. based on product data analysis, a validity value of 0.85 was obtained in the very valid category and the practicality values ​​of teachers and students were 87% and 90.25% respectively in the very practical category. Thus it shows that the worksheet is integrated with scientific literacy using the physics practicum KIT on dynamic fluid material that is feasible to use in the physics learning process.

Abstract

The facts found in the field are that literacy activities have not been implemented properly and the lack of teaching materials for the implementation of practicum in the laboratory. One way that can be conducted to finish this is the Development of Integrated Scientific Literacy Worksheets for the Use of Physics Practicum KIT on Unidirectional Electrical Materials. The purpose of this research was to reveal the feasibility of the student worksheet developed. The research type conducted was Research and Development. The data sources of this study were the validator team, physics teachers and students of Senior High School in Padang. The instruments for data collection used were sheets for validation, sheets for practicality, and sheets for effectiveness in the form of student outcomes of learning tests for the assessment of scientific literacy skills. The technique of data analysis used is analysis in descriptive and correlation test analysis. Based on the analysis of data, results of three research were presented. First, the student worksheet with a validation value of 0.88 is a very valid category. Second, student worksheet with student and teacher practicality score of 92.25% and 95.90% with very practical category. Third, the use of student worksheet is effective in learning physics to improve student learning outcomes. From this study it can be concluded that the scientific literacy integrated worksheet for the use of physics practicum KIT on unidirectional electricity is valid, practical and effective to use in physics learning.

Abstract

Masalah klasik yang dihadapi banyak lulusan setiap tahunnya adalah sulitnya mendapatkan pekerjaan karena lapangan pekerjaan yang terbatas sedangkan jumlah pencari kerja sangat banyak. Hal ini menuntut lulusan untuk memiliki kemampuan dan kreativitas yang tinggi serta mampu melihat peluang. Peluang yang ada saat ini dan harusnya dimanfaatkan oleh lulusan adalah banyaknya barang bekas yang belum diolah di lingkungan sekitar. Dengan kreativitas dan inovasi yang dimiliki oleh lulusan maka barang bekas tersebut dapat diolah dan memiliki nilai jual sehingga dapat meningkatkan ekonomi dan memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh lulusan.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai bentuk perwujudan dari pengamalan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satu tujuan dari KKN ialah untuk melatih mahasiswa dalam menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, seni dan budaya serta mengembangkan softskills dan karakter mahasiswa. Kuliah Kerja Nyata XII Universitas Bangka Belitung dibidang tematik yang diselenggarakan di desa Air Mesu Timur ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) serta mengoptimalkan pelayanan administrasi publik demi terwujudnya Air Mesu Timur yang BERSINAR (Bersih, Santun, Indah, Nyaman, dan Religius). Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui survey, sosialiasi serta pendampingan terhadap warga yang dilaksanakan selama 35 hari kerja. Peserta KKN merupakan mahasiswa UBB yang berasal dari empat Fakultas, diantaranya Fakultas Ekonomi, Fakultas Teknik, FISIP dan Fakultas Hukum. Program yang terlaksana diantaranya Sosialisasi dan Pembuatan Laporan Keuangan Desa, Pembuatan Web Desa, Pengembangan Sektor Kewirausahaan, Sosialisasi dan Pendaftaran Keanggotaan BPJS Kesehatan, Sosialisasi Bahaya Penggunaan Narkoba, Pendidikan Keaksaraan, Rumah Pintar, serta Peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan.

Abstract

Masalah yang ditemukan di Desa Baru yaitu masih kurangnya pengetahuan dan keahlian masyarakat dalam mengolah potensi hasil laut yang dimiliki, sehingga banyak sekali potensi yang belum dioptimalkan. Oleh karena itulah perlu dilakukan sosialisasi untuk menambah wawasan serta pemberian keterampilan tambahan bagi masyarakat sehingga memberikan keuntungan bagi masyarakat pula. Maka tema yang diangkat yaitu “Society Empowerment Melalui Capacity Building Guna Menciptakan Competitive Advantage Desa Baru Sebagai Desa Bismillah”. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan adalah masyarakat sangat terbuka dan menerima saran dan pengetahuan dari Mahasiswa KKN

Abstract

Objective: To find out unit cost of dental health service in Pariaman City Fanisa Clinic using the Activity Based Costing method in era of national health insurance. Method : This research was a quantitative descriptive study that used was Activity Based Costing (ABC) used mathematical calculations. Results : The results of this study indicated there was 8 dental health service in Fanisa Clinic in Pariaman City in 2018 and the unit cost for each service was consultation Rp.55.945, permanent tooth extraction Rp.127.825, extraction of deciduous teeth Rp.79.311, composit resin patching Rp.156.384, GIC patching Rp.145.843, scalling Rp.131.358, premedication Rp.61.291 and pulp capping Rp.107.729. Conclusion: The highest unit cost for dental health services at the Fanisa Clinic in Pariaman City was composite resin patching service and the lowest was consulting services. The average unit cost of dental health services at the Fanisa Clinic in Pariaman City was Rp.108.211. The biggest cost in the production unit was the cost of employee salary.

Abstract

Language style is a formal form of language that is used to communicate with others. The purpose of this research is to examine the language employed style used in the novel The Sea Speaks His Name. This Novel is a historical fiction authored by Leila S. Chudori and released in Jakarta in 2017. The data is taken from the novel The Sea Speaks His Name conversation text. A qualitative descriptive research design was used in this study. This analysis is based on Martin Joos' (1976) concept of five language style : frozen styles, formal styles, consultative styles, casual styles, and intimate styles. The results indicate there are thirty (30) data points from the film's conversations to conduct figurative language. The data analyzed shows that the novel has twenty-four cases of frozen (none), formal (one), consultative (seven cases), casual (eleven cases), and intimate (five cases) styles.. This means that the most common casual style is obviously used in family and close friend communication. Based on the findings of the study, students in the English Department should conduct additional analysis of the five language types employed in other materials such as films, books, or articles.

Abstract

This study is about the idea of toxic masculinity as reflected in The Power of The Dog by Jane Champion based on the toxic theory of masculinity by Terry A. Kupers. In Kupers' theory, masculinity has toxic characteristics in the form of misogyny, wanton violence, aggression, and dominance. The researcher uses qualitative methods in conducting this research. Researcher focused on written data in the form of scripts from movie related to toxic masculinity. The researcher uses Jan Mukarovsky's dynamic structuralism approach. There is a relationship between toxic masculinity and hegemonic masculinity. There are many toxic masculinity traits that can be found in society. However, researchers limit the properties contained in the movie. The purpose of this study is society has knowledge about the characteristics of toxic masculinity and one factor of toxic masculinity. The results of this research contained 19 data which are characteristics of toxic masculinity and factors that cause toxic masculinity. Researcher found 4 (four) data covering the characteristics of misogyny, 2 (two) data on naughty violence, 6 (six) data on aggression, and 3 (three) data on dominance and 5 (five) factors to motivate toxic masculinity. The conclusion of this research is that the idea of toxic masculinity is not only dangerous for women but also for men. And the factor of the occurrence of toxic masculinity can also be due to trauma from the past.

Abstract

Minang or Minangkabau is an ethnic cultural group that adheres to a distinctive customary system, namely the family system according to female lineage which is called the matrilineal system. In Minangkabau culture, marriage is one of the important events in the life cycle and is a very significant transitional period in forming a new small family group for offspring. The purpose of this research is to find out the symbolic meaning in Minangkabau traditional marriage. This research uses a qualitative method and uses the Peirce’s theory. The informants of this study are people who understand Minangkabau culture, such as the coconut of the Minangkabau tribe. Data collection techniques through observation and direct interviews to the field and obtain information from several books and websites. the results obtained were: maminang (applying), rapek sumando (consultation of traditional leaders), malam bainai (attaching henna to the bride), Manjapuik marapulai (picking up the groom), basandiang (side by side). Then the researcher compiles, describes, and writes the symbolic meanings that exist in the traditional Minangkabau wedding steps.
