Abstract

The general meaning of the word amanah in Surah an-nisa' verse 58 is the mandate to enforce the law of Allah fairly, both in personal life, society or state. In addition, another meaning of trust in this verse is that the position or mandate must be handed over to the person who has the right to carry it, anytime and anywhere. In the context of the life of the nation and state, all positions must be handed over to those who have gone through the legal or democratic process in obtaining the mandate. In this study, a literature method is used that involves collecting data analysis from various relevant sources such as books, tafsir books, and articles related to tafsir al-Munir and al-Azhar surah an-nisa' verse 58. This study aims to compare and analyze the interpretation of Surah an-nisa' verse 58 from the perspective of Tafsir al-Munir and al-Azhar. The results of this study found differences and similarities between Tafsir al-Munir and al-Azhar. Wahbah Zuhaili interprets the word amanah in this verse to include a broad meaning, meaning all types of trusts that exist, both trusts related to oneself or related to the rights of others as well as trusts related to Allah. Meanwhile, Buya Hamka interpreted that the mandate should be given to someone who is indeed an expert. The same interpretation of the two says that maintaining trust is one of the main keys in Islamic religious teachings.

Abstract

The community service project in Rojopolo Village aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of PKK women in managing household waste, focusing on converting organic waste into compost and inorganic waste into ecobricks. The primary objective of this project is to reduce environmental pollution through effective waste management education and practices. The methods used include information sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training workshops. Expected outcomes include increased community understanding and participation in waste management, as well as behavioral changes towards more sustainable practices. The products generated from this activity are compost, which can be used to enrich soil and improve agricultural productivity, and ecobricks, which can be utilized to create various structures such as chairs and tables. This project not only helps to reduce the amount of improperly disposed waste but also provides economic value to the community, supporting them in moving towards environmental and economic sustainability.ABSTRAKPengabdian masyarakat di Desa Rojopolo bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga, dengan fokus pada konversi sampah organik menjadi kompos dan sampah anorganik menjadi ecobricks. Tujuan utama dari proyek ini adalah untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan melalui edukasi dan praktik pengelolaan sampah yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sesi informasi, demonstrasi praktis, dan workshop pelatihan langsung. Hasil yang diharapkan mencakup peningkatan pemahaman dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah, serta perubahan perilaku menuju praktik yang lebih berkelanjutan. Produk yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah kompos, yang dapat digunakan untuk memperkaya tanah dan meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian, serta ecobricks, yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membuat berbagai struktur seperti kursi dan meja. Proyek ini tidak hanya membantu mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dibuang secara tidak benar tetapi juga memberikan nilai ekonomi bagi masyarakat, mendukung mereka dalam bergerak menuju keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health problem in Indonesia. Stunting is caused by malnutrition in children aged 0-59 months. The latest survey by SSGI in 2022 states that Rojopolo Village is one of the villages with the highest cases of stunting in Lumajang. The stunting rate in 2022 in Rojopolo village reaches 23%. The purpose of the service is to increase knowledge, increase pregnant women's awareness of the health of the fetus and baby and prevent the stunting rate in Rojopolo village from getting higher. The method used is starting with a door to door survey and by conducting counseling to the community, especially mothers and providing assistance to pregnant women and mothers who already have children or toddlers. This activity involved approximately 20 participants. The result of this community service program is that the community gets various knowledge about stunting and nutrition in pregnant women as well as exchanging information and sharing experiences during pregnancy. It is hoped that the community and cadres/village health workers can work together in reducing the stunting rate in Rojopolo Village ABSTRAKStunting merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang cukup serius di Indonesia. Stunting disebabkan oleh kurangnya gizi pada anak usia 0-59 bulan. Survei terbaru oleh SSGI tahun 2022 menyatakan bahwa Desa Rojopolo termasuk dalam desa dengan kasus tertinggi stunting se-Kabupaten Lumajang. Angka stunting tahun 2022 di desa Rojopolo mencapai persentase 23%. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, meningkatkan kesadaran ibu hamil terhadap kesehatan janin dan bayi serta mencegah angka stunting di desa Rojopolo semakin tinggi. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dimulai dengan survey door to door dan dengan melakukan penyuluhan pada masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu serta melakukan pendampingan kepada ibu hamil dan ibu yang telah memiliki anak atau balita. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kurang lebih 20 peserta. Hasil program pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat mendapatkan berbagai pengetahuan mengenai stunting dan nutrisi pada ibu hamil serta saling bertukar informasi dan sharing pengalaman saat hamil. Diharapkan masyarakat dan kader/petugas kesehatan desa dapat saling bekerja sama dalam menurunkan angka stunting yang ada di Desa Rojopolo.

Abstract

Waste management is a major challenge for many villages in Indonesia, including Tunjungrejo Village, Yosowilangun Sub-district, Lumajang District. The increase in waste volume along with the increase in population without effective management methods has led to various environmental problems such as water pollution, unpleasant odors, air pollution, and the spread of diseases. To address these issues, the author introduced the OPUDEMARI (Optimalisation of Pawon Urip Desa Mandiri Pangan dengan Biopori) program in Tunjungrejo Village. This program focuses on implementing biopore technology as an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution to organic waste management. Biopores, as infiltration holes, are used to reduce the accumulation of organic waste, accelerate the decomposition process, and optimize water infiltration. Through socialization and training, the village community made and maintained biopore pits in the Pawon Urip area and several other strategic points in the village. The results of this implementation are expected to increase community awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy environment as well as provide economic benefits through processing waste into compost. Regular monitoring is conducted to evaluate the system's effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement for efficient waste management in the village.ABSTRAKPengelolaan sampah merupakan tantangan besar bagi banyak desa di Indonesia, termasuk Desa Tunjungrejo, Kecamatan Yosowilangun, Kabupaten Lumajang. Peningkatan volume sampah seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk tanpa metode pengelolaan yang efektif telah menimbulkan berbagai masalah lingkungan seperti pencemaran air, bau tidak sedap, polusi udara, dan penyebaran penyakit. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penulis memperkenalkan program OPUDEMARI (Optimalisasi Pawon Urip Desa Mandiri Pangan dengan Biopori) di Desa Tunjungrejo. Program ini memfokuskan pada implementasi teknologi biopori sebagai solusi pengelolaan limbah organik yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Biopori, sebagai lubang resapan, digunakan untuk mengurangi timbunan sampah organik, mempercepat proses dekomposisi, dan mengoptimalkan peresapan air. Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan, masyarakat desa dilibatkan dalam pembuatan dan pemeliharaan lubang biopori di area Pawon Urip dan beberapa titik strategis lainnya di desa. Hasil dari implementasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan yang sehat serta memberikan manfaat ekonomi melalui pengolahan sampah menjadi kompos. Pemantauan berkala dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem dan memastikan perbaikan berkelanjutan demi efisiensi pengelolaan sampah di desa tersebut.

Abstract

         UD. Gotong Royong sebagai pusat pengolahan padi menghadapi ketidakpastian pasokan gabah, keterlambatan informasi pengiriman, dan margin keuntungan rendah, sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan rantai pasok untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar dan meningkatkan keuntungan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis aliran produk, finansial, informasi, serta kinerja rantai pasok menggunakan metode SCOR. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur dengan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aliran produk mencakup kualitas, kuantitas, dan metode pengiriman; aliran finansial meliputi sistem pembayaran dan penetapan harga; sedangkan aliran informasi meliputi jenis serta metode pertukaran informasi. Kinerja rantai pasok produk beras di UD. Gotong Royong diperoleh nilai kinerja keseluruhan termasuk kategori superior (sangat baik), secara rinci indikator kinerja pengiriman (97%), pemenuhan pesanan beras premium (99%), kesesuaian standar (100%), lead time (2 hari), siklus pemenuhan pesanan (1,5 hari), fleksibiltas (1,5 hari), dan cash to cash cycle time (10 hari), sedangkan indikator pemenuhan pesanan beras medium berada pada kategori cukup baik (95%), total supply chain cost berada pada kategori kurang baik (90,6%), dan persediaan harian berada pada kategori baik (9 hari).              UD. Gotong Royong, as a rice processing center, faces uncertainty in grain supply, delays in delivery information, and low profit margins, so supply chain management is needed to meet market demandand increase profits. The study aimed to analyze product flow, financial, information, and supply chainperformance using the SCOR method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literaturestudies using purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The results showed that product flow includedquality, quantity, and delivery methods; financial flow included payment systems and pricing; while information flow included the types and methods of information exchange ─the performance of the rice product supply chain at UD. Gotong Royong obtained an overall performance value categorized as superior (very good). In detail, the performance indicators for delivery were 97%, fulfillment of premium rice orders 99%, compliance with standards 100%, lead time 2 days, order fulfillment cycle 1.5 days, flexibility 1.5 days, and cash-to-cash cycle time 10 days. Meanwhile, the indicator for fulfilling medium rice orders was in the parity category or quite good (95%), the total supply chain cost was in the below-par category or less good (90.6%), and daily inventory was in the advantageous category or good (9 days).

Abstract

The field experience practice conducted by students from Yudharta Pasuruan University aims to improve scientific work skills, carried out through writing training held at the LSQ Ar-Rahmah Islamic boarding school, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The background of this activity is expected that students of the Qur'an and Tafsir Sciences of Yudharta Pasuruan University can produce quality scientific works at the student level in order to support preparation for making proposals and theses. We can see that students are currently minimal in making scientific works, even though the skills that a student must have are in the field of correct writing and according to the flow of making. Therefore, this PPL activity for students of the Qur'an and Tafsir Sciences of Yudharta Pasuruan University is expected to be more accurate in producing scientific works through writing training at the LSQ Ar-Rahmah boarding school. The method used is direct training and intensive mentoring from mentors at the LSQ Ar-Rahmah Bantul boarding school, Yogyakarta. This writing training was carried out for approximately 2 weeks. Students are required to create scientific works in the form of journal articles output from this PPL activity, it is expected that the journal can be included in the synta and successfully published. The results of the activity show an increase in skills and the emergence of new interests among students to be more enthusiastic in creating scientific works.

Abstract

The decline in the performance of PT. BPR Buduran Deltapurnama Sidoarjo in 2021-2023 shows that there are obstacles to employee productivity due to high target demands. This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance with job satisfaction and work stress as intervening variables, in employees of PT. BPR Buduran Deltapurnama Sidoarjo. The population in this study is 90 employees of PT BPR Buduran Deltapurnama Sidoarjo, with the number of samples in this study being 73 employees at PT. BPR Buduran Deltapurnama Sidoarjo. The test used in this study is Partial Least Squares (PLS).  The conclusions of this study are: Emotional intelligence can contribute to employee performance, Emotional intelligence can contribute to job satisfaction, Emotional intelligence can contribute to work stress, Job satisfaction is influential can contribute to employee performance, Work stress is influential in contributing to employee performance, Job satisfaction is a mediating variable in influencing the relationship between intelligence Emotional Impact on Employee Performance, Work Stress Becomes a Mediating Variable in Affecting the Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of authentic leadership on employee performance through organizational culture at PT. Semen Kupang in East Nusa Tenggara. Authentic leadership is defined as a leadership style that is based on authenticity, transparency, and strong ethics, which is expected to improve employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from employees of PT. Semen Kupang. The research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained was analyzed using path analysis techniques to see the direct and indirect relationships between authentic leadership variables, organizational culture, and employee performance. The results of the study show that authentic leadership has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, both directly and through the mediation of organizational culture. These findings indicate that authentic leadership not only improves employee performance directly but also reinforces a positive organizational culture, which in turn improves overall performance. This research makes an important contribution to the leadership and management literature, as well as provides practical implications for companies in developing effective leadership strategies and organizational culture to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job training and work experience on employee performance through motivation at PT. Citra Indah Abadi Jaya. Specifically, this study examines: (1) the effect of job training on employee performance, (2) the effect of work experience on employee performance, (3) the effect of job training on performance through motivation, and (4) the effect of work experience on performance through motivation. The research population was 130 employees, with a research sample of 100 respondents obtained using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique and calculations using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the study show that: (1) job training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) motivation can mediate the effect of job training on employee performance, and (4) motivation also mediates the influence of work experience on employee performance. Thus, the improvement of job training and work experience, balanced with high motivation, will have a significant impact on improving the performance of PT. Citra Indah Abadi Jaya.

Abstract

The Government of Timor-Leste’s decision to suspend doctoral programs has elicited varied responses from academics concerning their perception, participation, and acceptance of the policy. This study aims to analyze the influence of academics’ perception and participation on their acceptance of the doctoral program closure policy. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 257 academics from UNPAZ, selected through purposive and convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM to test direct and mediating effects among variables, complemented by non-parametric analyses (Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney, and logistic regression) to examine differences across demographic groups. The findings reveal that academics’ perception and participation simultaneously exert a significant effect on policy acceptability. Academics with higher education and greater academic engagement, such as lecturers and postgraduate students, demonstrated lower levels of acceptability compared to undergraduate students and administrative staff. Non-parametric results further confirmed significant differences based on age, educational level, and academic status. Overall, academics’ acceptability of the doctoral program closure policy is relatively low and influenced by both perception and active participation, with higher educational attainment associated with more critical attitudes toward the policy. Therefore, it is recommended that the Government of Timor-Leste improve transparent communication and participatory mechanisms to foster positive perceptions and stronger policy support, while encouraging academics to take a more active role in the policy-making process.
