Abstract

This study aims to critically assess government policies in implementing village authority in governance based on Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. This law grants greater authority to villages to manage and regulate the interests of local communities based on initiatives, original rights, and/or traditional rights that are recognized and respected within the governance system of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This research conducts a literature review of various relevant sources to analyze how government policies have been implemented at the village level and the challenges faced in their implementation. The study also explores the role of village governments in governance and the obstacles that arise due to limited resources, capacity, and support from both central and regional governments. The findings indicate that although Law No. 6 of 2014 provides a clear legal framework for villages to manage their own affairs, the implementation of these policies still faces numerous challenges. These include the lack of understanding and capacity of village officials, as well as suboptimal support from regional and central governments. Abstract

This study investigates the crucial role of women in managing Islamic boarding school education to facilitate the transformation of Islamic teaching. Using a qualitative approach centered on a literature review, data were gathered by analyzing relevant sources, articles and books. The research involved gathering, refining, organizing, and discussing selected materials to explore womens’ role and contribution in Islamic education. The findings of this study highlight women's significant contributions to boarding school management as caregivers, trainers, and mentors, impacting policies and decision-making. Various leadership styles, including democratic, charismatic, and paternalistic approaches, influence the school's development. Women also contribute to creating a conducive learning environment and promoting gender equality through inclusive programs in Islamic education.

Abstract

The passing of the covid-19 pandemic leaves a variety of new habits implemented by schools, especially teachers in the learning process. The new habit in question is that teachers use online media to carry out the learning process. This is also a form of demand from the government to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. This training activity on the use of online learning media begins with a theoretical explanation of the definition of online learning and the various online learning media platforms currently available. Of course, as educators must be able to choose the right online learning media so that students also do not experience obstacles and difficulties in following the learning delivered by the teacher. Before entering the training stage, the speaker provided material about learning media in general and the difference between online learning media. On this occasion, what was conveyed was about google classroom, zoom meeting and google form. Program socialization was carried out to introduce the program and how to use it to all teachers at MTs Sirajul Huda. Abstrak: Berlalunya pandemi covid-19 menyisakan berbagai kebiasaan-kebiasaan baru yang diterapkan oleh pihak sekolah terutama guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Kebiasaan baru yang dimaksud adalah guru menggunakan media online untuk melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut juga sebagai bentuk tuntutan dari pemerintah untuk mengurangi penyebaran pandemi covid-19.Kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran online ini diawali dengan penjelasan secara teoritis mengenai definisi pembelajaran online dan berbagai macam platform media pembelajaran online yang ada saat ini. Tentu sebagai pendidik harus dapat memilih media pembelajaran online yang tepat agar siswa juga tidak mengalami kendala dan kesulitan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh gurunya. Sebelum masuk ke tahap pelatihan, pembicara memberikan materi tentang media pembelajaran secara umum dan perbedaannya dengan media pembelajaran online. Dalam kesempatan ini yang disampaikan adalah tentang google classroom, zoom metting dan google form. Sosialisasi program dilakukan untuk mengenalkan program serta cara penggunaannya kepada semua guru yang ada di MTs Sirajul Huda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Android-based CABG education in improving the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients. The research method used is experimental research. Measurement of patient quality of life using the Short from Survey 36 (SF36) questionnaire. The data that has been obtained will be categorized based on a scale of 0-100. The results showed that the average quality of life of patients in the experimental group was in the good category (mean = 64.99), and in the control group was also in the good category (mean = 62.28). Based on the research results, both groups showed good categories. Still, the average quality of life score for the experimental group was greater than that of the intervention group, so the provision of Android-based CABG education had a positive effect on the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients. In conclusion, Android-based CABG education improves the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients compared to conventional education. Abstract

This study examines the impact of Sitti Raihanun’s philosophy, life experiences and educational initiatives on the educational landscape in West Nusa Tenggara. The study focuses on three main aspects: firstly, the influence of her upbringing in an Islamic environment and her involvement in the founding of Nahdlatul Wathan by her father, Maulana al-Syaikh TGKH. Secondly, her pioneering role in the advancement of women through the Muslimat Nahdlatul Wathan, which broadened avenues for women’s involvement in Islamic education and organisations. Thirdly, her contributions to the establishment of educational institutions, notably Pondok Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW, which became a pivotal centre for Islamic education. The research employs a historical-qualitative methodology, utilising document analysis and interviews with key informants in the field of Islamic education. The findings demonstrate that Sitti Raihanun was able to successfully establish educational institutions from scratch, including the Pondok Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW in Anjani, which subsequently became a central hub for Nahdlatul Wathan’s activities. As a pioneering female leader, she was able to surmount the societal barriers that existed at the time to become the first woman to head the largest Islamic organisation in West Nusa Tenggara, thereby significantly advancing the role of women in education and leadership.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the extent to which students' abilities in producing anecdotal texts. The current pandemic state forces educators and students to carry out learning and learning activities through online or online schools, but this does not discourage researchers in seeing the extent to which students' ability to understand the steps in producing anecdotal texts through scientific methods. Researchers in this study act as listeners, and use the observing method, this research also includes qualitative research, where researchers see how educators provide material and assignments, then help examine the results of assignments produced by students to see the extent of students' abilities in producing anecdotal texts. This study provides the answer that online learning is difficult and face-to-face learning is better at helping students understand learning material. The results of this study, the ability of students in producing anecdotal texts through scientific methods is still low.Keywords: Text, Anecdotes, Methods, Scientific

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of economic growth, provincial minimum wage, and education level simultaneously and partially on the Labor Force Partippcipation Rate in Jambi Province in 2009-2023. The data used in this study is secondary data published in the form of a time series for 15 years starting from 2009-2023 in Jambi Province. The source of data obtained from the agency is the Central Statistic Agency (BPS) in Jambi Province. This study used multiple linear regression analysis tools, and data analysis prerequisite test using normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity tests. The hypothesis test used are the coefficients of determination (R2), F test and T test. The result of this study show simultaneously that: Economic Growth, Provincial Minimum Wage, and Education Level do not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate in Jambi Province in 2009-2023. And Partially : (1) Economic Growth does not affect the Lbor Force Participation Rate, (2) The Provincial Minimum Wage does not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate. (3) The Level of Education does not affect the Labor Force Participation Rate in Jambi Province 2009- 2023.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using  inspirational Arabic quotes to enhance vocabulary acquisition and morphological understanding among Arabic language learners. Employing a three-week mixed-methods design that integrated both qualitative and quantitative data, the research involved 30 students aged 16-18 from Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah engaged with Arabic quotes to enrich vocabulary and morphological skills. Pre and post-assessments revealed significant improvements in vocabulary retention, morphological awareness, and contextual vocabulary usage. The psycholinguistic elements embedded in inspirational quotes served as mnemonic devices, facilitating deeper engagement and motivation among students. Findings suggest that inspirational quotes bolster vocabulary acquisition and promote cultural resonance and emotional engagement, making Arabic language learning more effective and meaningful. This approach, encapsulated in the acronym EMPOWER—Engagement, Motivation, Practice, Optimised Learning, Wisdom Integration, Emotional Resonance, and Retention—presents a holistic model for Arabic language education, emphasising motivational and cultural learning contexts to enhance language proficiency.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab-kitab bahasa Arab Habib Hasan bin Ahmad Baharun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kepustakaan. Sumber data primer berupa kitab Muhawarah al haditsah billughah al-Arabiyah dan kitab Majmuah Ashriyah fillughah al-Arabiyah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis konten. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan tentang pendidikan akhlak yang diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga aspek yaitu (1) Akhlak terhadap Allah yang meliputi: Taqwa kepada Allah dimana saja berada, yaqin dengan pertolongan Allah swt, mengerjakan ibadah dalam bentuk yang paling afdhol dan tidak takut kepada apapun kecuali kepada Allah swt (2) Akhlak terhadap diri sendiri meliputi: Tawadhu’, disiplin, mandiri, sabar, cinta pada bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, suka kebersihan, taat pada tata tertib sekolah dan rambu-rambu lalu lintas. (3) Akhlak terhadap sesama makhluk Allah swt meliputi: Akhlak kepada orang tua, akhlak kepada guru, akhlak kepada teman, akhlak kepada sesama muslim, akhlak kepada tamu, akhlak kepada tetangga, akhlak kepada konsumen, dan akhlak kepada hewan atau tumbuhan.

Abstract

This article explores the educational reform ideas of Tuan Guru Ibrahim Al-Khalidy, a key figure in the development of Islamic education in Lombok. As the founder of the Al-Ishlahuddiny Islamic Boarding School, TGH Ibrahim Al-Khalidy has successfully combined traditional pesantren education with modern educational systems. This reform was designed to preserve the pesantren as a center for the production of ulama while adapting to the challenges of modernization and contemporary Islamic education management. Using a qualitative research methodology with a field research approach, data was gathered through observation, documentation, and interviews. The findings reveal that TGH Ibrahim Al-Khalidy's educational reform is deeply rooted in the concept of tauhid and the integration of knowledge, which is prominently reflected in his work Tuhfatu al-Shibyan Fii Aqo`idil Iman. His approach advocates for a holistic Islamic education that encompasses both religious and general knowledge, fostering a balanced development of students. The research further demonstrates that his educational reform has made significant contributions to the social and cultural development of the community, bridging the gap between traditional Islamic teachings and contemporary educational needs.
