Abstract

This research was a quasi-experimental research that aimed to find out the influenced of relating experiencing apllying cooperating transferring (REACT) Strategy towards student's mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was all students of  grade 7th SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2017/2018 that consist of 245 students. The sample of this research were students of  VII-F class that consist of 30 students and VII-H class that consist of 30 students that were choosen by purposive sampling tehnique.  This research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The data of this research was obtained by test  (pretest-posttest) of mathematical representation skill. The statistical test that has been used was Mann-Whitney U. The result of this research shown that REACT strategy affected the student’s mathematical representation skill.   Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh srategi relating experiencing apllying cooperating transferring (REACT) terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 berjumlah 245 siswa dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-F berjumah 30 siswa dan siswa kelas VII-H berjumlah 30 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik puposive random sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes (pretest-posttest) mengenai kemampuan representasi matematis. Uji statistika yang digunakan yaitu uji Mann-Whitney  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi REACT berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: kemampuan representasi matematis, pengaruh, strategi relating experiencing apllying cooperating transferring

Abstract

This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to discribe students mathematical critical thinking disposition in Socrates Method and Contextual Approach learning. The subject of this research were students of VII-D class of SMPN 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2014/2015 that was determined by purposive sampling. The data of this research was qualitative data about students mathematical critical thinking disposition which were gotten by observation recording, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done in four stages, which were coding, reducting, displaying, and verifying data. Based on this research, it can be concluded that Socrates Method and Contextual Approach learning can bring out the mathematical critical thinking disposition of students who have self confidence. Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan Metode Socrates dan Pendekatan Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif mengenai disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dalam empat tahap, yaitu memberi kode, mereduksi, menyajikan, dan memverifikasi data. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran dengan Metode Socrates dan Pendekatan Kontekstual dapat memunculkan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis pada siswa yang mempunyai rasa percaya diri.Kata kunci: disposisi berpikir kritis, Metode Socrates, Pendekatan Kontekstual

Abstract

This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to describe students mathematical critical thinking disposition in Socrates Contextual learning at the material of Linear Equations and Inequalities of One Variable. The subjects of this research were students of VII B class of SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung. Through purposive sampling techniques, it was chosen eleven students who was described their critical thinking disposition. The research data were obtained by observation, critical thinking disposition scale techniques, interviews and documentation. Before analyzing the data, researcher did the triangulation of data by interview. The data analysis techniques used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conclusion of data. The results of this research was the students' mathematical critical thinking dispositions only appears on some students. For most of the other students, dispositions which appeared were not critical thinking disposition.Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linier Satu Variabel. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung. Melalui teknik purposive sampling terpilihlah sebelas siswa yang dideskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritisnya. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, teknik skala disposisi berpikir kritis, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sebelum menganalisis data, peneliti melakukan triangulasi data melalui wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa hanya muncul pada beberapa siswa. sebagian besar siswa lainnya memunculkan disposisi yang muncul bukan merupakan disposisi berpikir kritis.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, Socrates Kontekstual

Abstract

This qualitative research was aimed to describe the students mathematical discourse in Socratic Scientific learning to facilitate mathematical communication ability. The subject of this research was students of VII H class of SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about students mathematical discourse which were gotten by observation and interview. Three procedures of data analysis were data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. Based on the research, it was concluded that in mathematical discourse, there were: (1) mathematical expression and written text as the dominant indicators of mathematical communication ability, (2) clarification as Socratic question that was used by teacher more frequently, and (3) communicating as Scientific phase that was more frequently appeared. Besides that, the research findings were characteristic pattern of mathematical discourse, mathematical discourse form, and the factors that influence students response in mathematical discourse. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan percakapan matematis siswa pada Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik dalam memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII H SMPN 20 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif tentang percakapan matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dalam percakapan matematis terdapat: (1) mathematical expression dan written text sebagai indikator kemampuan komunikasi yang dominan muncul, (2) pertanyaan Socrates bertipe klarifikasi yang lebih banyak digunakan guru, dan (3) tahap mengomunikasikan sebagai tahapan Saintifik yang banyak terlihat. Selain itu, diperoleh temuan berupa pola karakteristik percakapan matematis, bentuk percakapan matematis, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi respon siswa dalam percakapan matematis.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, percakapan matematis, Socrates Saintifik

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of guided inquiry learning model in improving students' mathematical communication skills. The population of this study was all 8th grade students SMP Negeri 17 Pesawaran in academic year 2016/2017 which were distributed in 8 classes. The sample of the research were students of class VIII-D and VIII-E selected by purposive sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument of this research was essay test of mathematical communication skill. The data analysis of this research used t test. The result of data analysis showing that guided inquiry model influenced in improving students' mathematical communication skills. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Pesawaran tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 8 kelas. Sampel dari penelitian adalah kelas VIII-D dan VIII-E yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, komunikasi matematis, pengaruh.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning towards students' mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 3 Metro in academic year of 2017/2018 that were distributed into 7 classes. The samples of this research was students of class VII-D and VII-E which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical communication skill. The statistical test used was t-test and z-test. Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that problem based learning was not effective towards students' mathematical communication skill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas problem based learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Metro tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D dan VII-E yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji-t dan uji-z. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effect of the cooperative learning model of group investigation type towards the student’s mathematical problem solving skill. The research design which was used was posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all grade tenth students of even semester of SMA Paramarta 1 Seputih Banyak in academic year of 2013/2014. The sampling was done by choosing two of four classes randomly. Based on result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of group investigation type did not effect the student’s mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X semester genap SMA Paramarta 1 Seputih Banyak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan memilih dua dari empat kelas secara acak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.Kata kunci: group investigation, konvensional, pemecahan masalah matematis

Abstract

Dump Accumulator on RFID system built from Register and counter. On the block counter requires a series of NAND, Half Adder, and D flip flop. This paper compares the two discrete schematic designs for a combination of NAND 4  logic  input  gates.  Schematic  design  made  work  at  5Mhz  frequency  and maximum voltage of 3.3volt with Lt spice XVII application software. The first design uses the AND and NAND 2 logic gate combined inputs. The second design uses a NAND 4 logic input gate that is combined from a horizontally arranged (PMOS) and vertical (NMOS) CMOS component. Overall the second design has many advantages over the first design. The simulation results of the two designs show that the first design has advantages in the test of time (speed test), T fall is balanced with T rise is 12ns, total time required 24ns. But power dissipation  is  large  (55,43pW).  While  in  the  second  design,  it  has  a  few advantages of small CMOS components, a simpler schematic design, a small power dissipation (11.15pW), speed at T fall (20ns) larger than T rise (2ns), total time required 22ns. Keywords:   gerbang   logika   NAND,   Desain   diskrit,   Trise,   Tfall,   Power Dissipation

Abstract

Accumulator dump is one of the tools used to convert serial data into parallel data on RFID communications. Accumulator dump on RFID communication consists of a series of counters and registers, where one of the supporting circuits in the counter and register is D flip-flop. D flip-flops are one type of flip-flop that is built using RS flip-flops. Discrete circuit design Master-slave flip-flops  are  built  using  NAND  logic  gates  built  using  0.35  µ m  CMOS technology. The results of the D flip-flop circuit design are simulated using LT- SPICE software to see the speed of response and power dissipation in the circuit. Abstract

One of the impacts felt in the world of education by the COVID-19 virus pandemic is the cessation of the face-to-face teaching and learning process and being replacement by distance learning. Therefore, an effective communication model is needed so that teachers and students have the same perception of learning objectives through online materials and assignments given by teachers to kindergarten children through messages to parents. One of the models that can be used is the class association, which creates collaboration between parents, teachers, and students to be empowered to learn in dealing with emergencies due to covid 19. The method of implementing the service is carried out offline because there are only 7 participants. An introduction to the material, what and why class associations are, and how to use class associations in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The AJEL (Active, Joyful, Effective Learning) principle was applied in the training. In its implementation, the instructor will act as a facilitator. The results of the process evaluation showed that the participants were very active and enthusiastic. The results of the comparison between the pretest and the posttest show that this training can increase the knowledge of teachers regarding classroom associations.Keywords: class associations; online learning; teacherAbstrakSalah satu dampak yang dirasakan dalam dunia pendidikan oleh pandemi virus covid-19 adalah terhentinya proses belajar mengajar secara tatap muka dan digantikan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu diperlukan model komunikasi yang efektif agar antara guru dan siswa memiliki persepsi yang sama akan tujuan pembelajaran melalui materi dan tugas daring yang diberikan guru bagi anak-anak TK melalui pesan kepada orangtua. Salah satu model yang yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah paguyuban kelas, sehingga tercipta kolaborasi orangtua, guru murid untuk berdaya belajar dalam menghadapi situasi darurat akibat covid 19. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan secara luring karena peserta hanya 7 orang. Pengenalan tentang materi, apa dan mengapa paguyuban kelas, dan bagaimana memanfaatkan paguyuban kelas dalam pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemic covid 19. Dalam pelatihan diterapkan prinsip AJEL (Active, Joyfull, Efective Learning). Dalam pelaksanaannya, instruktur akan berperan sebagai fasilitator. Hasil evaluasi proses menunjukkan bahwa peserta sangat aktif dan antusias. Hasil perbandingan antara pretes dan postes menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para guru terkait paguyuban kelas.DOI: https://doi.org/10.23960/rp/v2i1.hal.66-75
