Abstract

The cognitive level between teachers and students is clearly different in problem-solving. In the mathematics context, especially the function problem was only in geometric expression form, for knowledge construction and student's learning should use their cognitive level capacity. Not only the solving process is based on that, but also learning should be efficient for all students, and analyzing those processes is the purpose of identification inefficient issues in this study. This investigative study was held on three respondents purposively selected from a science program of senior high school in West Jakarta, Indonesia. This study found that in the solving process, all students chose to construct an algebraic representation of the function by organizing concepts relevant to fragmented conceptualization. The process has held to apply each concept procedurally. There has been a resource and that is one concept of the domain of function, so the completion is an inefficient process because all three students were ignoring it to use. All three process for solving to the student’s academic culture, most common for emphasizing in learning related to the problem and their cognitive capacity.

Abstract

Students' problem solving skills are still severely lacking, especially in derivative application materials (maximum and minimum). The purpose of this study is to find out how students' problem solving skills in derivative applications (maximum and minimum) are geogebra-assisted. The method used in this study is qualitative research method, with the focus of the research is the problem solving ability of students in derivative applications (maximum and minimum) assisted by geogebra. The subjects in this study were students of STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta who had attended the course or who were following the calculus I course, namely there were 6 students with purposive sampling techniques. The instrument in this study is the researchers themselves, tests to measure problem solving skills and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques are conducted with interviews, obsrevation and documentation. Data analysis techniques performed with data reduction steps, data display, data interpretation, conclusion drawing/verification. Presentation of data The results of the study showed that there is an improvement in student learning outcomes with the existence of mathematical modeling, especially in students with moderate and low problem solving skills, where students have been able to meet four indicators of problem solving, because students still need help in turning problems in problems into mathematical forms. And students with low problem solving skills only meet two problem solving indicators, because students must strive to understand the problems contained in the problem, then need to be directed in order to turn the problem into a form of mathematics

Abstract

Penyelenggara pendidikan harus mampu melakukan penyesuaian terhadap peralihan metode pembelajaran yang harus dilakukan. Dalam proses pembelajaran daring, guru harus mengikuti perkembangan dalam beradaptasi dengan penggunaan teknologi baru. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk membekali dan meningkatkan keterampilan para guru SDN Muktiwari 01 Bekasi untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang menarik dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital, Hasil observasi di lapangan masih banyak guru di merasa kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis digital, seperti belum mengetahui aplikasi atau platform apa yang dapat digunakan untuk KBM secara digital. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan guru-guru SDN Muktiwari 01 Bekasi dalam memanfaatkan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Metode penyelenggaraan pelatihan ini dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Para guru sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. karena mereka mendapatkan pengetahuan baru terkait media pembelajaran berbasis digital.

Abstract

Algebra is a branch of mathematics that uses mathematical statements to describe the relationship between various things. This study aims to describe the algebra problem solving abilities of students in the Linear Program course. There are differences in student problem solving, which are caused by students' cognitive styles. Reflective and impulsive cognitive styles based on the SOLO taxonomy. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta. The research subjects consisted of 4 students, 2 students having a reflective cognitive style and 2 students having an impulsive style. Purposive sampling technique was used in taking the subjects.Data collection techniques used cognitive style test questions Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT), algebra problem solving test questions and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques used two techniques, namely written tests and interviews. Technical analysis of data by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. From the data processing, the results of the research were 2 students whose have flexible cognitive style also have good algebra problem solving abilities and based on SOLO taxonomy reached the Extended abstract level. Meanwhile, students who have an impulsive cognitive style in solving algebra problems based more on the SOLO taxonomy have Multistructural and Unistructural levels. So each cognitive style of students gives the different results in solving problems.

Abstract

Masa remaja awal merupakan masa ketika seorang anak tumbuh ke tahap menjadi seseorang yang dewasa yang tidak dapat ditetapkan secara pasti. Remaja mulai mempunyai kapasitas untuk memperoleh dan menggunakan pengetahuan secara efisien mencapai puncaknya dikarenakan pertumbuhan otak mencapai kesempurnaan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada para siswa terkait perkembangan pola pikir remaja di era globalisasi dan teknologi. Era revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan era informasi dan teknologi, dengan perubahan yang cepat, pertambahan yang signifikan dalam lingkungan masyarakat sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta pengetahuan yang membeludak. Remaja yang memiliki pola pikir yang baik, dapat menjadi pribadi yang berpikir secara sistematis dan lebih bisa berinteraksi dengan orang lain baik secara akademik maupun non akademik. Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas adalah bentuk refleksi diri bagi seorang guru untuk dapat memahami situasi-siatuasi sosial termasuk dalam pendidikan yang bertujuan memperbaiki praktik yang dilakukan oleh guru itu sendiri sehingga praktik dapat berjalan sesuai harapan dan relevan dengan keadaan. Tujuan Melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian dengan melakukan kegiatan Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang menjadi salah satu tuntutan kompetensi. Dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode pemamparan materi secara teori, diskusi dan latihan pembuatan proposal penelitian. Teknis pelaksanaanya adalah penyusunan proposal yang meliputi klinis penyusunan proposal, menyampaikan beberapa model pembelajaran yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian, pendampingan pelaksanaan penelitian dan penyusunan akhir laporan. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini, para peserta bertambah pemahamannya pada PTK sehingga ilu yang di dapatkan oleh para peserta dapat digunakan sebagai proses perbaikan pebelajaran di kelas. Dengan peningkatan kemampuan ini proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan secara optimal.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the challenges faced by students when solving problems related to solid geometry. The research design employed in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The target population was 23 class VI MI Muhammaduddarain students in the 2022/2023 academic year, who were selected using purposive sampling. The research sample consists of three students who encountered difficulties while solving problems in solid geometry. The selection of research subjects was based on their work, which exhibited the most errors in problem-solving related to solid geometry. Data collection techniques encompassed interviews, tests, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the students encountered various difficulties when solving problems related to solid geometry, including (1) challenges in comprehending the concepts, (2) difficulties in applying principles, and (3) struggles in employing process skills.

Abstract

Supporting Indonesia's educational vision, and as part of efforts to restore learning, the Merdeka Curriculum (which was previously referred to as a curriculum prototype) was developed as a curriculum framework that is more flexible, while also focusing on essential material and developing the character and competence of students. Efforts to run an independent curriculum at this time, is one of the efforts to be able to implement it in the implementation of the curriculum, and teachers are very important in playing and implementing this independent curriculum to the fullest and can run well. The implementation of Community Service (PKM) carried out by STKIP Kusumanegara Lecturers was in the form of training on the implementation of the independent curriculum for teachers delivered to teachers under the auspices of all RA (Raudhatul Atfal) in Bogor district. This training is delivered in a systematic and simple manner so that it can be understood easily and can have a significant impact in realizing education for students. The result is an increase in teacher understanding in three aspects; (1), theoretically, (2), how to implement it, and (3), how to develop a curriculum. Abstract

Menanggapi kesulitan dalam permasalahan aljabar, banyak studi yang memaparkan tentang berpikir aljabar di tingkat satuan pendidikan sebagai jalan menuju aljabar. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan kesulitan peserta didik dengan pemikiran aljabar dan tantangan guru dalam menciptakan konteks yang mendukung kemampuan berpikir aljabar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literatur tentang berpikir aljabar. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasi dan mereview semua artikel mengenai berpikir aljabar yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 2015-2021. Artikel menyajikan teori yang didasarkan pada konstruktivis tentang praktik yang saling bergantung yang mendukung kemampuan berpikir aljabar. Artikel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 12 artikel jurnal internasional dan 11 artikel nasional terakreditasi yang diperoleh dari database, Sciencedirect, Google Scholar, Mendeley menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Berdasarkan penelitian ini didapatkan Effect size tinggi diperoleh pada kategori partisipan tingkat SMP yang berupa penerapan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir aljabar siswa SMP.

Abstract

Kegiatan workshop ini adalah bagian dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilatarbelakangi oleh berkembangnya soal berbasis HOTS, Salah satu perkembangan dari sistem penilaian pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini adalah diterapkannya penilaian berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill). Kurikulum untuk matematika sekolah menengah telah berubah pada pengembangan berpikir HOTS. Selain itu juga untuk meningkatkan wawasan, inovatif dan ketrampilan guru-guru MTS Penerapan penilaian soal berbasis HOTS bertujuan agar proses pembelajaran khususnya matematika dapat mendorong siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan program adalah melakukan pengenalan HOTS, penyusnan HOTS dan penilaian soal HOTS. Kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada guru-guru MTs Se-Kota Bekasi. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa: (1) Bertambahnya wawasan guru-guru Se-Kota Bekasi tentang pembelajaran Matematika inovatif yang berbasis HOTS, (2) Meningkatnya pemahaman guru-guru MTS Se-Kota Bekasi dalam memecahkan masalah Matematika yang menuntut berpikir tingkat tinggi yang berbasis HOTS.
