Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG), launched by President Prabowo Subianto's administration in January 2025, operates a food distribution mechanism through Nutrition Service Units (SPPG), which are largely managed by foundations (yayasan). This study examines the misuse of the foundation legal entity form in the context of SPPG partnerships from a commercial law perspective by analyzing the discrepancy between the non-profit character of foundations and the commercial activities carried out in practice. This research applies a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that several SPPG partner foundations operate beyond the authority permitted by Law No. 16 of 2001 as amended by Law No. 28 of 2004 on Foundations, conduct covert commercial activities, and potentially violate the ultra vires prohibition. An Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) investigation in 2025 found that 89 of 102 examined MBG partner foundations (87.25%) were affiliated with political parties or state officials. This condition creates conflicts of interest that are inconsistent with the principles of sound commercial law. This article recommends regulatory reform of SPPG partnerships, the application of the piercing the corporate veil doctrine to foundations that abuse their legal entity status, and strengthened oversight mechanisms by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid proliferation of hadith dissemination in the digital era, which has Living hadith in a socio-cultural context is a contemporary approach in hadith studies that emphasizes how the traditions of Prophet Muhammad SAW are practiced, internalized, and brought to life within society. This study does not only focus on textual aspects such as sanad (chain of transmission) and matn (text), but also on its practical manifestations in the form of traditions, rituals, and local culture. This paper aims to analyze the epistemology of living hadith, examine the theoretical frameworks utilized, and observe its relevance in modern society, particularly within Muslim communities. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach based on a literature review. The findings indicate that living hadith serves as a bridge between normative texts and dynamic empirical reality. In practice, living hadith manifests in oral traditions such as lectures and religious advice, written traditions like hadith calligraphy, and practical traditions like tahlilan and grave visitation (ziarah kubur). Thus, living hadith allows Islamic teachings to remain contextual, adaptive, and relevant in facing modern socio-cultural transformations.

Abstract

Family stress is a psychological response that arises due to the burden of caring for a family member with a chronic illness such as Type II Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Based on medical records from Sekar Biru Public Health Center in 2024, there were 98 cases of Type II DM, mostly managed at home by family caregivers. This study aimed to identify factors associated with family stress in caring for Type II DM patients in Sekar Biru Village in 2025. A quantitative study with a cross-sectional design was conducted using total sampling, involving 98 family caregivers. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Chi-Square test. The results revealed five variables significantly associated with family stress: financial burden (ρ = 0.000), knowledge level (ρ = 0.000), duration of illness (ρ = 0.000), employment status (ρ = 0.012), and presence of complications (ρ = 0.038). In conclusion, financial constraints, lack of knowledge, prolonged illness duration, unemployment, and diabetes complications significantly influence caregiver stress levels. Health education is essential to increase family understanding of diabetes management. Furthermore, public health centers should strengthen family-oriented health promotion to reduce caregiver burden. This research may serve as a reference for health workers, educational institutions, and future studies exploring broader aspects of caregiver well-being.
