Abstract

Moonfish (Mene maculata) known locally as bete tamako or peda cina, is one of the  economically important fish resources resulting from Buyat Bay. Although it has relatively small size (estimated length 25-30 cm), but the fish has a good taste. The presence of moonfish is usually a sign of sailfish fishing season in the Buyat Bay. Common fishing gear used to catch moonfish is hand line , noru.  However, scientific information about the status of moonfish fishery was not yet understood. Therefore, this study aims to determine the status of moonfish fishery and map out the fishing location.  This research was conducted in the Buyat Bay, Ratatotok District, Southeast Minahasa Regency (March-September 2013); using a survey method with a descriptive approach. Catch data were analyzed by a surplus production model.  These results informed that the maximum sustainable yields (MSYs)  was 1707 fish/trip/year where the number of  the suitable fishing trips was 470 trips.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effect of corporate governance on the capital structure with cash flow from operation as an intervening variable. Independent variables used in this research are board size, audit committe, independen audit committe, audit committe expertise’ in finance, audit committe meetings, board commisioner composition and institutional ownership.  The capital structure is measured by the debt ratio. Samples from this study were 65manufacturing firms sub sector basic industries and chemicals listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and were selected using purposive sampling method. Data have been obtained will be tested with path analysis. The results of this study indicate that there were direct and negative significant influence of audit committe, and positive significant of audit committe meeting and board of commisioner composition on capital structure. The results also showed that there were indirect effect and significant of board size and audit commitee espertise’ in finance on capital struture with cash flow operation as an intervening variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of behavioral factors which consisting of regret aversion, overconfidence, loss aversion, heuristics and availability bias on gold investment decisions in Batam City investor. To conduct the study, a total of 250 questionnaires were issued and distributed to the investors of gold in Batam city. To test the hypothesis, multiple linear reggression analysis is used. The results of the research showed that regret aversion has a significant and positive effect and loss aversion has a negative significant influence on gold investment decisions. While there are no significant influence of overconfidence, heuristic and availability bias to investment decisions.

Abstract

Whereas the sample in this paper are stock investors in  Batam City. The number of questionnaires distributed were 120 sheets and all questionnaires were successfully answered. The collected data will be analyzed with multiple linear regression.The results of this study indicate that overconfidence, disclosure, and investor's competence have a significant positive effect, advice  has a significant negative effect, and past performance has no significant effect.

Abstract

Title (Bahasa Indonesia): Pola usaha dan musim penangkapan mini purse-seine(pajeko) di Kecamatan Tobelo Selatan, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, Provinsi Maluku Utara The study uses a descriptive method and was carried out for 5 months. Data collection covered primary and secondary data. Primary data  was carried outthrough direct observation on production planning, production process, and control on the mini purse-seine fishing unit and through direct interviews with mini purse-seine owner and fishermen. Secondary datawas obtained from Marine and fisheries Service of North Halmahera. Literature study was conducted as well. The data were analyzed to find outthe business pattern practiced by mini purse-seine fishermen by usinginteractive model of analysis and time series analysis-based average percentage methodwas usedto get the fishing season.This study concluded that business pattern of fishermen in South Tobelo district was done by imposingthe operational cost on the investment owner in both peak and lowfishing seasons. Moreover, the profit sharing is divided by50% for townersand 50% for fishermen after operational cost, and 20% for the FAD if other FAD was used. The fishing season of the mini purse-seine in South Tobelo district occurrsin March, August and September, while the lowseason occursin January, February, June, November, and December.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan dilakukan selama 5 bulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan baik pada data primer maupunsekunder.  Data primer dilakukan dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap perencanaan produksi, proses produksi dan pengawasan produksi unit penangkapan pajekodan wawancara terhadap nelayan dan pemilik kapal pajeko.  Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Halmahera Utara disamping itu dilakukan juga study pustaka.  Untuk mengetahui pola usaha yang dijalankan oleh nelayan pajekodigunakan interactive model of analysis.  Untuk analisis pola musim penangkapan ikan menggunakan metode persentase pata-rata (The Average Percentage Methods) yang didasarkan pada Analisis runtun raktu (Times Series Analysis).  Dari hasil Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola usaha yang digunakan oleh nelayan di Kecamatan Tobelo Selatan dilakukan dengan membebankan biaya operasional pada pemilik baik musim puncak maupun musim paceklik tiba. Disampaing itu system bagi hasil dibagi 50% untuk pemilik dan 50% untuk nelayan setelah dikeluarkan biaya operasional dan 20% untuk rumpon apabila menggunakan rumpon milik orang lain.  Musim penangkapan dengan pajekodi Kecamatan Tobelo Selatan terjadi pada bulan Maret, Agustus, dan September, sedangkan pada bulan Januari, Februari, Juni, November, sedangkan musim paceklik terjadi pada bulan Januari, Februari, November, dan Desember.

Abstract

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengukur pengaruh overconfidence, herding, trait anxiety, trait anger, dan self-monitoring terhadap keputusan investasi. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dari penyebaran kuesioner survei terhadap 200 responden. Objek yang digunakan adalah seluruh masyarakat di Kota Batam yang melakukan investasi saham. Sampel diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Analis dan pengujian data melalui regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan overconfidene dan herding berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi saham. Sedangkan Trait anxiety, trait anger, dan self-monitoring tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Kata Kunci: overconfidence, herding, trait, self-monitoring, keputusan investasi AbstractThis research aims to analyze and measure the influence of overconfidence, herding, trait anger, trait anxiety, and self-monitoring toward investment decisions. Types and data sources used are primary data collected from the distributions of survey questionnaires to 200 people. An object used for this research will be every citizen who has tried stock investment before and live at Batam. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling. Data analysis and testing through multiple linear regression tests with the help of the software program SPSS 26. The results of this research indicate that overconfidence and herding have a significant effect on investment decisions, while trait anger, trait anxiety, and self-monitoring have no significant effects on investment decisions. Keywords: overconfidence, herding, trait, self-monitoring, investment decision

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 changed many community activities in the world, one of them is our country Indonesia. Starting from working, studying, to shopping online from home. That makes the use of the internet every day has increased. This pandemic COVID-19 can be an opportunity for business entrepreneurs to survive in this situation. By taking advantage of technology and moving from offline to online marketing trends. This progress is considered very useful to be used as a business marketing strategy, namely digital marketing. The purpose of this community service is to equip Culinar SMEs in Taman Kota Mas and Simpang Kara Batam in mastering and utilizing digital marketing through social media. The method used is directly going to partner, developed, and trained partner with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, listed partner to Gofood, and Grab food for business partners. The results program last for one semester showed that digital marketing is a very important role and take effect especially in this pandemic COVID-19 situation very helpful in increasing sales and expanding the market share of culinary SMEs in Taman Kota Mas and Simpang Kara Batam.
