Abstract

The Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program is one of the character education strategies implemented at SDN Sibreh Aceh Besar. This program aims to shape students into religious, disciplined, and morally upright individuals by instilling the habit of Qur’anic memorization from an early age. However, the effectiveness of this program needs to be systematically examined through evaluation, monitoring, and reflection as part of character-based educational management. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using purposive sampling. Informants include the principal, tahfidz supervisors, and tahfidz teachers. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles et al. model, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the tahfidz program is evaluated through both formative and summative models, with assessment aspects covering attitude, recitation, knowledge, and skills. Monitoring is conducted in layers by the principal, tahfidz teachers, and the education department, using benchmarks such as memorization achievement, discipline, and student character. Reflection is facilitated through personal approaches, outdoor learning activities, and written feedback, enabling students to express their learning experiences authentically. The integration of evaluation, monitoring, and reflection plays a vital role in shaping students’ character holistically. Although the memorization of Juz 30 has not yet reached the expected target, the ongoing mentoring process demonstrates strong potential in cultivating a generation of Qur’an memorizers with noble character.

Abstract

Faktanya di Aceh rasio jumlah guru dan siswa kita ini sekitar 1:16 untuk tingkat SD sendiri, sudah termasuk memadai. Akan tetapi sebaran data guru yang tidak merata, walaupun masih dalam satu zona. Inilah yang menyebabkan, ada sekolah yang mengalami kekurangan guru. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis pemetaan penempatan guru SD di Kota Lhokseumawe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah rombel sebanyak 621 unit untuk seluruh sekolah SD, sedangkan guru yang terdata pada tahun 2022 sebanyak 555 orang guru PNS/PPPK. Kemudian dalam rentang 5 tahun kedepan, ada guru yang memasuki usia pensiun sebanyak 88 orang (guru kelas 72 orang, guru PAI 9 orang dan guru PJOK 7 orang). Analisis pemetaan yang terfokus pada guru PNS/PPPK, 5 tahun ke depan semua guru mengalami kekurangan, sedangkan analisis pendataan seluruh guru yang ada, maka hanya guru kelas yang mengalami kekurangan mencapai 35 orang guru untuk di sebarkan pada 3 kecamatan. Jika pemerintah memaksimalkan kinerja guru dengan memeratakan guru, baik PNS/PPPK ataupun non PNS/PPPK yang ada, maka akan lebih efisien pemetaan guru di kota Lhokseumawe. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemetaan penempatan guru SD kota Lhokseumawe masih memadai apabila pemerdayaan guru secara keseluruhan yang ada baik PNS/PPPK dan non PNS/PPPK.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of character education for students with disabilities in inclusive elementary schools, with a focus on the application of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating functions. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis involving school leaders and classroom teachers. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that character education management is implemented through an integrated yet gradual application of the POAC framework. Inclusive planning emphasizes core character values such as religiosity, empathy, tolerance, responsibility, and discipline, although these values are not yet supported by formal written documentation. Organizing is conducted flexibly through role distribution among school personnel, while implementation relies on role modeling, habituation, and adaptive daily learning activities. Evaluation focuses primarily on observing individual behavioral changes through informal communication with parents. The study implies that strengthening written planning and structured evaluation mechanisms is essential to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of character education management for students with disabilities in inclusive school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on the performance of educational staff in a higher education institution. Employing a quantitative survey design, the research used a census technique in which all 44 members of the population were involved as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 27. The findings reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.116 indicates that transformational leadership explains 11.6% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These results suggest that the implementation of visionary, inspirational, and individually supportive leadership practices plays an important role in strengthening staff performance. Therefore, reinforcing transformational leadership behaviors can serve as a strategic approach to improving administrative effectiveness and overall organizational performance in higher education settings.
